I think it says a lot about Crow that his deepest desire isn't actually to experience what life would have been like with his own parents, but that the orphans he used to look after had had the luxury of being with theirs.

After seeing an insufferable tweet. I got to get this off my chest. Take this is as an unpopular opinion if you will.

Is it really that bad that she is a reserve rider? Yes the writers could have picked a better name than benchwarmer. But being a backup isn’t bad. I know being second fiddle to someone else is not a good feeling. But teams need backup players, they are a necessity. Sometimes a backup player’s skills are on par with the main lineup. A team could get disqualified if they don’t have enough people due to injury or penalties.

I don’t know, maybe it is because I watch too many sports anime (let’s be real, WRPG arc is just a sports anime tournament arc) I don’t think it is a bad thing. When you don’t use it as some sort of gotcha about her writing, her position is perfectly acceptable.

This has been sitting on my chest for 13 years.

Does this post make sense? No. Do I care? Also no.

I never think of this when it comes to pairings (probably because I'm not fond of kids and don't want any myself) but Aki and Crow would be the best parents. Crow especially is often shown to be good with kids, looking after every orphan in existence in 5Ds and even in Arc V where he's noticeably gruffer, he still essentially adopts three orphans and is incredibly protective of them but also takes on a stern parent role when he needs to. Aki meanwhile is good with the twins Leo and Luna and was shown comforting that one child during the whole robot apocalypse shit in WRGP. Also I picture her being really gentle with her younger patients when she becomes a doctor. I don't know if that's canon, I just think it's cute.

Aki also had really shit parents so she'd know exactly what not to do, especially with Crow supporting her.

So yeah very random thought about a very random pairing that I thought I'd share.
