AHHHHGHHHHHH IM FREAKING OUTTT
tgs spoilers under cut

HOW ARE WE FEELING LANYDE NATION OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!
I don’t know what to say that I didn’t say Last week but I’ll try my best because GOD THIS PAGE IS SO BEAUTIFUL

Hyde Crying, not from being upset, but from shock by how nice Lanyon is being. He has tried to make himself hate Lanyon and Avoid him for years and he thought that Lanyon hated him back .
Now as Lanyon says all of this he’s confused, its not exactly a bad confused, more of just wondering, In hydes mind he thinks that he’s so evil no one could ever like him, and then comes along Lanyon who Hyde thought he had a one sided Rivalry with is telling him how human he actually is.
“I tried to make you disappear” not only when Hyde and Jekyll were one in the same but with Hyde as well, trying to ignore is existence, not thinking he’s real, and when it was revealed that they were the same, he tried to out cast Hyde as the villain.
Now Lanyon has taken the time too think it over, seeing Hyde in a vulnerable position made him realize what he loved about Jekyll, the part that was affectionate but stubborn as hell and was so desperate to know and see through him. The part that understood him a little to much.
This isnt to say he doesn’t love Jekyll, he Fell in love with both parts of him, Hyde and Jekyll, he fell in love with all parts and is just now seeing them as both different yet the same at the same time, he’s accepting it.
Also Hyde pulling away from Lanyon, pulling away from the unconditional love and Affection that he dosent think he deserves AGSGHAHSHE IM NOT OK

“The first part I fell in love with” AGHSHAGAIEHWGAJSHWYHAHSHSUEHEYIAHSHEHWHAYEY
He still fell in love with some parts of Jekyll, but the first signs he knew he might feel something towards Jekyll were given to him from Hyde.
Hyde, denial is a river in Egypt man, just accept Lanyon

AND THEN WE GET TO THIS BEAUTIFUL PICTURE ITS SO PRETTY!!!
Sigh, gay people make me feel so single 😔 it happens every time.
I feel like they will Kiss and then we’ll go back to Jasper in the lodgers, BUT! Hear me out, to our knowledge Jekyll is gone, but we don’t know if he can still hear things or not. It probably wont happen but I would imagine him being really Jealous at this moment, and if anything was to bring him back it would be this.
Even if this happens though, I dont think it was Lanyons intention, I think he genuinely has realized and has had the revelation that he loves Hyde more than Jekyll, which would make it such an intriguing story to witness. If it was to happen I wonder if Lanyon would just be shocked, I really dont think he’s trying to play with Hydes emotions, after realizing that Hyde is so human and is what he fell in love with.
If Lanyon is leading Hyde on I will cry bro, Hyde is finally letting his guard down, relaxing and feeling like he belongs with someone, also thinking of all this development of realizing all of this being fake isnt nice 😔
That was shorter than most but I was just really happy and I had fun.

while im on a roll i think we should talk about them exploring the depths together too
- whenever they go on walks together both of them actively keep their distance from chasms
- cue zelda falling flashback
- zelda learns of all the interesting things down there from josha
- “there are statues?? ancient statues?? that we know little of in regards to their origins??”
- josha rambles and zelda intently listens. she’s writing things down on her purah pad
- link had a notebook feature added by robbie, he knew she’d want it for the sky islands at least
- sometimes he scrolls through them when shes at the school and somehow isnt surprised to see 200+ entries
- zelda eventually asks him about the idea of going into the depths. link is vehemently against it initially
- she’s visibly disappointed and he feels bad. he eventually agrees Only if they prepare for it enough
- link takes her to cotera and gets all of her clothes Fully upgraded. then buys her another set of armour and upgrades those too
- he teaches zelda how to swing a sword. she already knows how to fire a bow, so he gives her his strongest (it’s a royal guard’s bow. he’d give her a lynel bow but she isnt as stupidly strong as him)
- buliara decides to make her an ornate shield that’s both strong and pretty to symbolise her finally stepping into the fighting world. some decals are similar to urbosa’s shield. zelda tries not to cry
- link’s built them a diving platform into the chasm so they don’t touch the gloom that’s bleeding out into the world
- he has an absurd amount of sunny and gloom resistant meals. hes not taking any chances at losing her again
- zelda is an explorer and a scholar at heart, keeping the depths from her would be like keeping her from her books. he ignores the anxiety in his stomach and stands beside her on the platform
- “stay by me.” “i promise.”
- zelda’s gotten more used to freefalling now but she still laughs wildly every time. the rush of wind through her hair makes her feel free and alive
- the place is well lit since link went through and Thoroughly activated all the lightroots before he even let her step foot near the chasm
- he holds her hand the entire time and keeps on high alert
- link gives her a thumbs up when she kills her first gaggle of little froxes. she’s grinning and brimming with adrenaline
- she takes pictures of everything, and i mean Everything. the trees, the flora, formations, the skeletons, the lightroots, even the yiga hideouts
- zelda’s frozen in awe when she witnesses farosh gracing the depths with her presence for the first time. she feels a strong need to follow. a friend, a sister.
- link advises against it. he reminds her that neither have anything resistant to electricity and as well meaning as farosh is, she’s difficult to get close to
- zelda loses her MIND at the abandoned mines. link holds her hand to make sure she climbs down safely
- she’s utterly obsessed with zonaite. link breaks a piece for her and she keeps it safe in her pocket. she treats it like a momento of the first time they went into the depths together
- link is on high alert. she accidentally walks too close to a monster mining site and link immediately springs into action. she headshots the bokoblins but link steals the limelight by making quick work of the remaining moblins and one silver bokoblin
- after all this time he still acts like her knight. she doesn’t think he’ll ever stop
- “we need to be more careful of our surroundings.” because goddess forbid he scolds her properly
- they sit and eat some of the food they packed underneath a lightroot. zelda’s obsessed with the surrounding fauna. link’s focused on the way her face glows when she’s excited
- zelda takes her first bit of damage and link takes down the enemy with such fury she’s taken aback
- it’s only a minor wound but it makes his stomach turn and all the worries of losing her again and watching her almost die come flooding back
- she knows that look. she understands. it will be a long time before he fully trusts her to be in potentially dangerous situations
- “link, we can go home if this is becoming too much.” “i.. yes. please.”
- they find another chasm entrance and link is able to conjure up a hot air balloon from nothing. she wonders if she’ll ever stop being surprised by the autobuild feature
- she squeezes his hand as they go up together. he squeezes back
- the sunset is beautiful. they stay in the air for a while, watching the sky bleed from orange to red
- “thank you.. for today.”
- link nods, “we can go down again sometime soon.”
- zelda grins

no plz tell me all your thoughts about the gregory hate so I can reblog it💀
OHHH boy this is gonna be a long one buckle up
Ever since Gregory was first announced I believe most of the fandom have interpreted him as this frail child who was always on the verge of tears and needed G.Freddy’s protection (think C.C 2.0), but once the game came out most ppl were shocked to see this kid actually has a lot of bite to him and kicked ass (ppl’s first reactions to him destroying the animatronics still make me laugh).
This was MY first introduction to him, so I wasn’t completely taken aback but still pleasantly surprised. Most if not all his actions made sense or at least made sense for a 10yr boy to think/act. Giant robots coming after me with the intention to kill (and insulting me for no damn reason)? Yeah I’d probably add an extra kick in there for good measure. Then came the first repair scene, when Vanessa revealed the high possibility of Gregory being an homeless orphan everything just clicked into place for me.
OF COURSE that’s why Gregory was so aggressive, he had to learn how to fight on his own to survive he’d probably had to face even worse than this! He wasn’t going to let that all go to waste bc some weird murderous rabbit lady wanted to drag him into her plans. It explains why he brushed off G.Freddy’s worries about him bc he’s used to have to just keep moving and bare thru pain, especially in an environment where that’s really the ONLY thing you can do. It’s why he’s so blunt and can come off as rude bc he was most likely never taught how to behave “correctly” bc really who has the time?
He was just using all the knowledge he learned on how to survive from a cruel and harsh environment for another. But this time he has an ally for once, an adult (father) figure who actually cares about his wellbeing, it’s no wonder why he became so attached (but struggles to show it bc he’s not used to it). And through all that easily irritable aggression, there are moments to remind us he’s still a kid.
A useless fridge magnet? Yeah that is pretty lame man.
Now imagine my shock when I see others hating on him and calling him a villain. “How could he KILL the poor animatronics? He was so mean, he’s the true monster!” Wh- DID WE WATCH THE SAME GAME? You mean the same animatronics that says he doesn’t have anyone to care about him? Yeah real sweethearts they are. Gregory isn’t a damn monster, he’s a survivor! He’s doing what he only knows best, IT’S TO SURVIVE!
“How could he be so mean to G.Freddy??? Those are his friends! He made Freddy feel bad!” Trust me when I say that Gregory cares about G.Freddy ALOT, did you see his reactions whenever G.Freddy got hurt??? That’s his father thank you very much!
“How could he have killed Vanny in that one ending?! He’s the real villain!” …Do I even need to explain this one?
And ohhhhhh don’t get me started on the awful “bratty gremlin devil” Gregory HCs. Now this isn’t to say that Gregory can’t be a gremlin or whatever. He can be, he is a bit cheeky, but then some started to intensify it and made it his entire personality. No, Gregory wasn’t just itching to rip Roxy’s eyes out or do the next batshit insane thing, he noticed the other upgrades and put two and two together (It gets more weird and slightly disrespectful when they add in the homeless thing as if that automatically makes someone act “feral”….tiktok.)
And then we have the complete opposite where some portray him as what I mentioned in the first paragraph. The poor helpless child who cant handle anything by himself…even though that’s complete bullshit (he’s also usually portrayed to be obnoxiously sweet for some reason). I don’t think many ppl realize how often were not in G.Freddy during SB, and Gregory is described to be quick on his feet and wits (plus his tools) and he doing damn well by himself! [Obviously this isnt to say that he didnt need G.Freddy’s help and protection, ofc he did, he just didnt need to RELY on it like some ppl make it seem he did].
(I know we went a bit off-topic for the last two paragraphs, trust me it connects)
All of this comes down to simply that some just can’t accept the fact that Gregory isn’t their perfect victim. He doesn’t crumble to the floor and beg for G.Freddy to help him up like they want him too. He’s not shy and sheepishly asking for help like they think he’s supposed to. And when they realize that part they try to push him into the other far end where he’s crazy, cold, and cruel. But he’s not. He cares, and he cares deeply. He’s still a little boy, he cried and tried to cover his face when he saw Vanny die. He should be leaping in victory, he killed his killer after all right? But he didn’t, bc despite everything she was still a human being, and he was so scared.
He has complex trauma (duh), he’s not this way or that way, and I get it. It’s hard to write or draw that kind of trauma for Gregory, especially when SB didn’t really give us much. But the way ppl act as if that’s what he actually is is soooooo frustrating. In my opinion the fact that his trauma is so complex and the fact he’s not your typical written victim is what makes him so interesting! And I feel like a lot ppl were slowly getting around to it…
Until GGY and Ruin happened and the hate came back so much worse, Welcome to the real Freddy Hell.

#THIS DOESNT EVEN COVER GGY AND RUIN#but i feel like covering what happened when SB came out gives the gist#bc lets be real#the hate that came from those two other parts#all tie back to SB#and go over the same points i made#if you really want me to make a post like this for GGY and Ruin.. i can certainly try#AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS THAT THE HATE WAS ONLY BAD BC I MENTIONED TIKTOK#it wasnt just them it was also TUMBLR and TWITTER#so we have variety here#I made a posts similar to this before#i’ll take screenshots and add them to the post if find them again#anyways yea#you could say im a gregory fan…#fnaf sb#fnaf ruin#fnaf gregory

One Piece Live Action review
WARNING: SPOILERS DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS!!!!!!
I went into watching this thinking it was going to tank. I honestly thought it was going to be a disaster like Dragon Ball evelution. I was worried about only 8 episodes with first season orgonally having 46. I was worried they were going to change a lot and take away a lot. Make it more dumb. I really had no idea what they were going to do.
I was wrong. The first episode had me shocked. Was there differences? Yes. But they werent bad. They made sense. I rated the first epide 4 of 5 stars. It wasnt perfect but it truly was a good opening episode.
The actrors were amazing. When I seen the postrs and trailors Inwas worried. Sanji missing his eyebroe, Usopp his long nose, and some of the CGI looked a little weird. That was one of the reasons had me worried. Yet the actors did such an amzing job!
Zoro is just fucking perfect. I love him. I love Love love love that they included Mr. 7 and Zoro's fight. That was shook and let me tell you I jumped and nearly squealed when I seen that. They don't show that fight in manga or anime. Its only mentioned.
Mackenyu Did a great job betraying Roronoa Zoro. 5 stars.
Though one of my dissapoitments when it comes to Zoro are three things: First his missing fight with Hatchi and how Luffy is introduced with Zoro. And His fight with mihawk. (Not that it was bad but that 3 people who witnese it I always thought was omportant were not there)
Not seeing Hatchi is a disapointment. However I can see why they may have cut him out. The live action is following the manga as close as it can while also being realistic. But we see Hatchi again in later arcs. Before timeskip and right after. It would be hard to justify soneone who worked for Arlong (who pretty much inslaved Nami) make him a good and likeable charector? I mean I dont hate Hatachi from the manga/Anime but I never understood why Nami would be okay with associating with him regardless if he wasnt one who did anything to her or not. So that could be why they left him out? Another reason could be time. They only had 8 episodes to work with. Could they fit a third fight sceen in the one episode? Hard to say. Or even his 6 arms could have been an issue. Not sure. But still I really like his fight with Zoro. Still the fight sceen with Zoro and Sanji working wonders together is amazing and makes up for it. It was still a good part and yeah its a sisspointment not seeing Hatachi but at the same time The fight and banter with Sanji makes up for it.
Now one dispoinment which is me more nit picking when it comes to Zoro is his introduction with Luffy. Luffy wanted Zoro on his crew by just hearing about him. He didnt see him or know him he was like "yeah? Hes a good fighter? Ima make him my crew. Then he heard what Zoro did for rhe little girl. I really really likes that from the manag. That being said! The way the live action did it was still really good too. Is it a slight bummer? Yeah but not enough for it to be bad. It still good and the point across of Zoro being a good guy stands.
As for his fight witb Mihawk. It was amazing ok? I loved it. Now what is a bit sad to see is no Johnny and Yadaku and Sanji didn't witness the fight. Again its more nit picking but hear me out! In the Manga and Anime Sanji watches the fight and hes angry. He is angry its not him going after his dream but also because its like Zoro is Waisting his dream. I always thought that was important. At least for Sanji's charector. HOWEVER because of the things they changed with Sanji and his story it probably makes sense. Ill get to that when I get to Sanji. Its also a bunner Johnny and Yadaku isnt in this but I get it. Time and money sometimes minor things need to be cut.
Overall though. Every thing with Zoro is jsut so good. Even the things I got a Tad bumbed at (more me nit picking) but even though I was the changes they made I liked.
Lets talk about Usopp. Usopp again I was a little bumbed with no long nose. I mean. Okay. It probably would have been a pain to either CGI it or wear a prostrdic. So I get it. That being said Jacob Romero did a great job! And the only Usopp to get the kiss haha. Now I was happy Usopp got the kiss. At the same time I am like "bah. No romance in OP lol" but damn the Usopp Kiya shipper in me was so happy! Honestly 5 stars for Usopp.
My disapointment with Usospp's arc was no Jango. Like this one I did not get? It was Jango that hipnotized the impoten Kuru to believe he was Kuru in the first place. So unless they are going to bring that into play later? Yeah I have to say thats one of the biggest disapointments. Again not enough for me to hate on or dislike the changes. I really enjoyed the arc. It was more darker and honestly sad to! Like they killed merry! He's supposed to survive! They also cut out Onion carrot and pepper but to be fair a gron man playing with 3 children? Weird lol. Actually I forgot about them until I realized that they were also missing. My more concern was Jango! Even so it was fun to watch. Different and more thrilling.
Nami my dear I enjoyed her. She isn't my favorate in any addaption but I still like the charecter. I thought Emily Rudd played her well. 4.5 stars. My only issue is I felt like she was a little stiff at times at first? But she really started to shine towards the end. Like she was amazing. If it wasnt for the first episode or two where I felt she was off I would give her 5 starts. Its again nit picking! Because she was amazing!
Lets talk about Luffy though. I thought Iñaki Godoy was amazing. Like he was amazing Luffy. 5 stars. I almost almost want to say 4.5 of 5 stars because there were times where I think Luffy would be smiling or doing something dumb he was more serious? But I didn't care so much because this isnt the Anime and its not the manga. Its live action and some things need ro be realistic. So I got it. And he the actor loved being Luffy and you can see he did his best at ir. Like he was made for this part!
Now I want to get into Sanji. I kept Sanji for last because he's not only my fave OP char he is my fave Anime/Manga char of all the anime/manga I read and love. Like he is #1 in my book. He is the Goat! So out of the first 5 straehats, if I was going to nit pick anyone it was going to be Taz Skylar's betryal of Sanji.
I was not dissapointed. He did a fantastic Job. I was impressed to know that he not only learned kick boxing and cooking he also did his own stunts. Fucking impressive for any actor. 5 stars. Dude. I loved it. We still got to see that anger and cussing he does but most of all we got to see his kidness.
Was there disapointments in his episodes? Yeah. It sucks that we didnt get to see his fight with Ging. That is one great fight. The whole Gin crying because he cant kill Sanji and taking the poison gas? Holy hell. I get it they didnt have time to do the whole don kerig saga. But daaamn that is the biggest disapointments.
Howeever! The changes they made was still good. Because if this serious continued and we learn of Sanji's past with Germma then I think I underdtand. Yes I like the Sanji disagreeing with Luffy to join banter and Sanji in general being more angry at the start. But his nonchalant more easy going side is.... refreshing and part of Sanji we dont see much until later. I like that they are focused on Sanji's kindness! Hes always introduced in the manga as 'A kind hearted chef who lives woman' in every issue of the manga.
The Live action is really focused on Sanji's kindness but also his silly side that he can be sometimes. Still top fighter next to Zoro. But more playful. In both Anime and Manga Sanji is seen eating and enjoying rhe party. But here in the live action he is the one cooking and serving. Like they are really highlighting the kindess in Sanji here. So yeah I was dissapointed that there was no Gin fight but. Again it was changed in a delightful way! Like I like the change. It was like the writers went to Oda. "Hey. We want to highlight Sanji's kindess how can we change this without xhanging his actual past story and what not?" And oda was like "well...do this" or something. Because it worked. They made Sanji's intro still sad as fuck wirh him and Zeff on the rock. The two still share the same relationship and they highlight Sanji's kindness. Also I kinda like the tone down womanizing.
Also the Zoro and Sanji bantering? My ZoSan shipping heart is like Yuuuusss!
So yeah I had some dissapointments. I was hoping for Sanji to witness the mihawk fight. Even if it was out the window ya know? I do feel like it was important. Alas. But all that asside I loved it.
One more char I want to talk about it Buggy. This mofo is brillant betryal. Still Buggy but darker. More intresting!
So over all I give it a 4 of 5 stars. Not perfect but still fucking fantastic.

Edit: OML I DIDNT MEAN TO POST THIS I meant to save this to drafts 😭 Alr Im gonna add some things
The new UrbanSPOOK episode sure was something huh? I wanna talk about a few things (there's a lot so bear with me)
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR URBANSPOOK: HELL (don't worry I wont display any of the paintings or images from the episodes)
First thing I wanna talk about is Mona and Bill eating some of their victims. I actually had this theory at some point that they were eating people because of Sean. His painting was "The Man In The Pipes", so at first I assumed he was stuffed down a pipe in the home, but then FAMILY was uploaded, alongside the painting of the supposed fetus shoved down Paul's throat. Im too lazy to check, but if I remember right, the painting's name was scribbled out except for the word "pipe" or something like that. I know pipe was in there at some point. Maybe the pipes Sean's painting was referring to was their esophagus, since the fetus's painting was referring to Paul's windpipe bc that's how he died. Plus, Sean's painting has more red than anything, just like the fetus painting did. We've seen the painter (Mona or Bill, whoever is making the paintings...probably Mona) would most likely have drawn out the pipe since she LOVES her detail in paintings.
Next thing is how much better this episode was compared to previous ones. The only bad thing in the new episode was the bucket, but besides that there weren't really any bad themes. I watched the new episode through Baz's reaction video, and he even showed a screenshot of Urban saying he would make this and episode 10 better than the previous episodes, so good on him!! And the new episode wasn't just theme-wise better, it was VISUALLY better too. The video footage style was amazing, and don't get me started on the last part where they went into Tina's house for the wellness check and caught the killers. Also major props to Tina's voice actress in this, she did AMAZING. She screamed her heart out at the last part, good lord 😭
A smaller part, but I wanna mention how this episode had one of the scariest parts yet I've seen in the whole series. At the end of the episode where Mona has her hands raised because of the cop, she's just...standing there. Neither of them speak after a moment, and the only sound is Tina's screams. Then a distorted smile can be seen on the screen...Mona is just staring at the cop with a smile. She doesn't care that Bill is dead. She doesn't care about Tina's screams. She's smiling like she didnt do anything. And she isnt moving a single muscle. That smile is the last thing Tina ever saw. Mona is happy and has no regrets.
Another thing I want to mention is how Bill Collins was one of the killers. We already knew that because of the morse code thingy from PIGS, but that raises some questions. 1: Where the hell is Jack Stryker?? For those who don't know, Im talking about Tina's boyfriend from WITNESS that randomly went missing while Tina and Flora were getting attacked. He had a painting, so he's probably dead and/or the painters ate him. 2: Who was the fourth/third face in the Collin's photo montage? In LIGHTHOUSE, we find out Bill Collins went missing, his family was found dead yada yada. I don't remember if Bill Collin's had three or four other family members, but ther was another photo amongst the others that probably shouldn't have been there. The baby was dead, yes, but she was found in the attic and not in the mush barrel with the rest of her family. Which means one of those photos is probably not Bill and another victim maybe?? 3: What's his motive? Clearly he had to have snapped or something to go kill a bunch of people. He's probably the reason all the cops and investigators related to the case died (Sean, Sarah, Ian, etc). As we've seen, Bill acted in a feral-like state while working with Mona, him barking while helping her in the murders and roaring at the cop in the video footage before being shot. So what exactly is his motive?? Maybe Mona will say in episode 10 during the trial or we'll just never know. I will say this, when it showed his human picture in LIGHTHOUSE after stating he went missing, it was the only photo that didnt look...real. It looked more like a drawing than an actual photo like all the other ones. Bill was clearly as dangerous as Mona, but why did he decide to work with Mona, especially after his family died? Maybe it was a last resort and Mona agreed to it? (but they probably teamed up with Fred too to get drugs from him, but we all saw how that turned out) So why did Mona decide to let Bill work with her, and why did Bill want to work with Mona? I really wanna know this in episode ten.
There are a few things Im still wondering. We don't know how some of the victims died and Im actually REALLY curious about that. Ian, Jimmy (who I think may be the fourth photo found by the Collin's flesh barrel), Sean (yeah I said earlier I predicted they ate him but we don't know how he died), the two girls in the lighthouse (I forgot their names but Im too lazy to check 🤯), and some of the victims found in the new episode inside of the Paint Factory. Maybe Mona will reveal how she killed them?? Maybe not?? Idk I guess we just have to wait for it to play out
That's all I really have to say. Oogily boogily 🤯🤯🤯

Same anon as before (name anon I guess, lol) Lila calls out for Coco in the first scene we have her in (around 10:35) and now that I watch it again (I wanted to see if there's more kids than the twins in that car) Coco might actually be the son. Lila goes "You need to share with your brother. Coco, stop crying!" The little girl in the scene isnt really crying, meanwhile the boy is reaching out and looks more upset. I did not mean to follow up on the last ask but, here you go! Interesting thing I just noticed that I wouldn't have posted about myself cause fandom scares me!
Also no, I totally agree with you on the names. It felt like the writers really didnt care about any of them. I was pointing out that we have the mothers names as a thing of "they named all the mothers yet here we have unnamed son."
oh sorry! yea thats where im standing rn lol like you go to the effort of naming 6/7 mothers who appear for maybe 3 seconds each but not the main character's children??
i went back and found the scene
and yeah it does seem that coco is the boy's name as there's not anyone else in the car
(nobody in the front, only the twins in the middle behind the balloons, and the pinata in the back seat, i guess grace arrived with her grandparents or maybe Diego??)
but he's also not ... at all upset
he's just reaching?? i guess they couldnt or didnt want to make the kid cry..
but like.. i hate that actually. If you're gonna go to the effort of giving one kid a tribute name (grace stanley), which is notoriously not liked by fandom (im thinking the disaster that was the epilogue of HP) then at least go the full mile and give the other kids tribute names as well?
like ik Lila's family is alive now but we never acknowledged that she wasn't raised by them beyond age 4, and that she witnessed their deaths and loved them and carried their memory into her adulthood and was devastated to learn that they had been targetted not just randomly killed
like.. for them to be randomly alive now doesnt make their relationship automatically good, they're strangers now whether they like it or not.
so i don't see why Anita and Ronnie couldn't have had kids named after them. lots of people do that for their very much alive parents as well?
or even just name the boy twin Ben?? umbrella Ben is 100% dead. double dead even. maybe even triple dead.
and isn't Coco from the spanish name Socorro? which is female??
just. i feel like this was underthought and bad.

*decadently sampling Cheeze Whiz on a Ritz Cracker like its pâté* The thing about crimson and chartreuse's relationship is that they fight. Crimson says some cruel shit to her here and there, mostly revolving around folk. but, and ive discussed this before, i really dont get the sense that crimson hates her like he hates prism and cobalt. chartreuse has been a little defensive of him, because she gets how bad he has it even before he grasps the fullness of it, and she picks fights with him, sometimes- hes just a dickhead and thinks shes a fool for hanging all her hopes on folk and isnt shy about letting her know it. And like, from his perspective, I kind of get it? I dont agree, but like. lets look at the facts for a second
First off- they met a VERY short amount of time ago by the standards of Immortal Gods, and from crimson's perspective, chartreuse has been all Distant and Enlightened and Omniscient™️ for a long time and her recent behavior is distinctly unstable by comparison to that standard. chartreuse was saying she loved him in a matter of months, when they met because Folk was doing something that was hurting her and happened to flirt with her while she was reeling in confusion and anger from losing her nonlinear timesight and the chip damage of time being fucked with until her failsafe activated, and thus not really in a normal, sound, rational state of mind? She was a bit emotionally all over the place at the time, and very much kept Folk, then borderline a stranger, on impulse. Yes, ryan said in the brief time Folk was gone and chartreuse had her absolute perspective back she witnessed all of folk's life in an instant to make that decision, but thats very... one-sided, isnt it? Like, from crimson's perspective chartreuse looks like shes having some sort of breakdown and deciding to throw her everything into dating Some Guy who used the stabbing chartreuse machine even if it means she keeps getting stabbed because she became inexplicably obsessed with him
Second, Folk is bound to her. his continued existence is hurting her, Crimson knows this is costing her something just as much as Cobalt does. and Chartreuse won't tell Folk fucking anything at first, and Crimson would know this because chartreuse doesnt tell Anyone anything she doesnt absolutely have to. Not just about the fact she's maintaining his future to keep him around, slowly letting his old life turn to dust to buy him as much time as possible before she inevitably has to let him die too, effectively making their relationship a kind of entrapment, the ethical question of 'what if Folk had gotten fed up with her secrecy and refusal to be honest and open with him and broke up with her, what would she do then? If theres no way to end a relationship without ending up dead or as a dying prisoner of your bond then thats fucked up' never raised- but also just. basic information about their family. She didn't tell him Cobalt existed until he was starting to meddle in kerfuffle affairs, and she wouldn't confirm or deny if there were more of them either.
Third, Folk is a mortal therapist who holds kindness and understanding as core, open values. Now, Crimson is a deeply jaded son of a bitch who tends to distrust anything thats too overly nice and goody-two-shoes right out of the gate. and We Know Why. But theres also an element of defeatism in Crimson's understanding of their situation. This is apparent in his conversation with Folk in the winners waiting room of ncct4. This doesnt mean he intends to stop trying, but there's an air of grim acceptance, of futility to a lot of what he does because at the end of the day he doesnt really have any hope things can get better, especially through something as simple as therapy, before he starts to let himself feel otherwise. When Folk thinks he knows how to help, Prism speaks through Crimson to dismiss it as useless, and Crimson does not resist. He, fundamentally, agrees with the notion that therapy would be useless for them, even if getting it were on the table for him. Crimson does not believe that his family can get better and live (relatively) normal lives, its an impossibility in his mind. He understands why it would be wanted, but the thought is absurd. Its childish. So when Chartreuse starts distancing herself, Crimson is confused- it's hopeless, what does she think she's doing, she's just gonna get herself hurt for something that'll never last, what is she so upset for when she knew this would happen, her own nature, THEIR own nature made this inevitable. And then she abandons her godhood, and, oh God now thats an Option On The Table, Crimson tries writing her off as a fool- throwing away her lifeline, her vigilant awareness of her meddling, every safeguard shes ever had, all to save Some Random Fucking Guy she thinks can 'fix' her. 'Really, Chartreuse? I know you're having a little episode here and we're all pretty fucked in the head but isn't dating your therapist you met three months ago a little on-the-nose?' type sentiment, y'get me
And finally, I get the sense that Chartreuse is the only person in that family crimson respects and cares for without caveat, because while the whole pomp and circumstance of godhood she and cobalt put on is annoying, and again, they fight, shes got a backbone and integrity and sincerely good intentions, but she also does what she wants without making self-righteous excuses for herself or pretending she's untouchable or lording over him, and theres a sort of 'dont tell mom/cobalt' solidarity between them. but I think theres also a cocktail of fear and jealousy in there, when she starts to pull away. Like. "Dont be stupid. whats your gameplan sis. Youre making this up as you go and its gonna kick you in the ass sooner or later. This is never gonna work. You're hurting and endangering yourself for no reason. You're gonna forget what its like and right when you let your guard down you're just gonna get fucked over. Stupid. Crybaby. for the love of god don't leave me alone in that fucking house." Y'get me.
And when he's finally accepted Folk as something important to her, important enough to upend her whole life to be with him, that she's really healing and he's really good for her... he's still not being especially nice- he'd hardly sound like himself if he did, hes a little cunt reflexively- but he tells him to make their time count. He wants to be at their wedding even if he has to crash the fucking thing. Hes starting to let things be meaningful to him again. Its clear to me that, while he sincerely cant stand cobalt or their mother, he actually really does care about his sister even if he sucks ass at showing it sometimes. Its... bittersweet.
#i also think for the record that theres a lot more hope for reconciliation between cobalt and crimson than between prism and crimson#but its Not Gonna Be Easy. because they do not understand the difference between their positions in all this.#cobalt does not understand the futility of crimson trying to appease prism because he is categorically meant to be a monster to her#and crimson does not understand that cobalt being a tightass has always been his misguided way of trying to protect him and treuse#colored also by his distaste for crimson's apparent lack of regard for the responsibilities of their station#which ironically crimson actually takes more seriously as maintaining a commitment and a system than he does#hes just better at being efficient about it so that he can also have a Life at the same time#ncct spoilers

anymore info on they and you'd become even more agitated than you are now, so it's better to not explain further- at least, for now. you're close to figuring it out on your own, anyway. ..it's strange. to be doing this, i mean. i don't know why, but it feels like i know you for so much longer than i actually do. i can't put my finger on it. it's like we interacted before, but i'm sure we haven't. that could be my memory's fault, though. i don't even recognize some of my own messages here. everything's been foggy since my last encounter. lately i've been a lot more paranoid- maybe it's because of you. i reached out on instinct and witnessing you go through all this started making me fear for my own safety as well. it's not like i'm unused to it, hell, someone literally tried to murder me last week and i've been just fine with that, but now it feels unnatural. you're just a guy. if i had to be afraid of anything, it wouldn't be of you or for you. this doesn't make sense.
-M⦻rtis
Thats- christ, okay. Thats alot. But. I guess- I’m happy for you? I think?
I mean- fear isnt…it doesnt feel nice, but its not bad? Not really. I think it would be worse if you didnt fear anything, considering thats just- i dont know, I guess to me its just one of those everything feelings. Everything gets scared. Hell even plants! Kinda-
I’m also glad you could, like, talk to me so openly? Call me crazy but feels like some kind of mutual trust thing, which is nice when your trapped in a literal nightmare.
…sorry i am shit at comfort or just generally talking about feelings. I dont even know if you want my comfort to begin with. But- just dont die? K? You’ve been around messaging me the longest and I think I would actually get really worried if you just stopped suddenly. With your record I would assume first and foremost that you either got kidnapped or murdered, neither good.
So yeah. Keep yourself safe. And- idk, sorry for making you worry about me? For me? If thats what the last part of your message meant. Or I’m reaching. I dont know. Yeah.

So sorry for the random vent in your ask box Pommunist, but I just keep seeing peoples posts about saying goodbye to the fandom and while im so glad to see so many people had such positive experiences with interacting I myself didnt really see much of it. I dont know if its cause im just more of a lurker and so I wasnt really making friends and memories with people around the qsmp but I honestly saw an overwhelming amount of negativity and even negativity mascaraing as positivity. Being in this fandom did not teach me togetherness it only taught me just how cruel and mean people are. Over all I honestly dont feel like qsmp reached its goal to bring communities together if so much of the fandom is volatile and actively will attack fans, ccs, admins, just about anyone. There was so much zenaphobia both in the fandom and in the studio. Purgatory was so poorly put together the streamers were having live disagreements and fights (that they thankfully usually got sorted quickly but was still DEEPLY awkward to witness and many people would just leave, wait for the fight to get worked out and come back) and not to mention how angry the fandom was over EVERYTHING at the time. And all that was done ON PURPOUSE. How can we say the the QSMP reached its goal of brining communities together when that simply did not happen? People are still split up in "the Brazilan fans" "the French fans" "the English fans" ect. Like im sure SOME people feel like THEY got something out of it and thats great but dose that mean that OVERALL as a full whole that the QSMP did that? Id argue no.
I’m going to say something that I almost never say lmao but I think a lot of it isnt Qstudios fault.
A lot of it is tied to the nature of twitch stream in as a storytelling medium. Take a normal TV show, people will still find ways to argue all the time about which character is in the right, whether or not a plotline was good etc. And they’re all watching the exact same thing.
With twitch streaming, people have their favourite characters and everything they see is from their pov, which is biased by nature and ultimately lead to a lot of misunderstandings, especially when everything said goes through translation.
Now add to this the second thing which is that some people got into qsmp with zero interest for it and its goal. They were first and above all else a fan of their favourite ccs, and never had any intention to open their mind to anything more than that.
Meaning that for them, everything that was beneficial to their fav, they liked, and everything or everyone that wasn’t, they hated.
Purgatory was the perfect event to lethally mix these two together, which wasn’t helped by that it was a poorly thought out and poorly executed competition event with high stakes (or so we thought at least lol).
Then you also have the xenophobes/mysoginists/shitheads who will just throw hate based on discriminatory reasons or simply because they’re assholes. I’ve seen takes that genuinely had my jaw touching the floor, but that’s the thing when you merge communities, the bad ones come along everyone else sadly.
On top of that they also ruin the fun for other people which lead to some just wanting to stuck with the community they were already a part of before qsmp.
On the other hand, QSMP still allowed people to share parts of their cultures with each other, pick up and learn each other languages, make people who would have never met without it befriend each other.
Personally before it I had never watched English or Portuguese content on Twitch, and now do regularly. I didn’t know any of the streamers besides the French speakers, Fit (watched his vids) and Rubius (only bc he was against the french in the pixel war), and now I’ve discovered many amazing ccs.
I was able to discover and learn a lot about how people do things in other countries, met cool people that I would’ve never met. My opinion on this is probably partly biased due to the fact that the specific communities I’ve been active in are almost comically all peace and love but I’ve also seen a lot of shit, just chose to focus on what was good.
I think QSMP fandom is kind of like if you and a bunch of strangers from around the world were shoved together in a bar. Most people are going to talk and drink and have fun together, but some of these strangers are bond to be assholes who will talk loudly and look for a fight, making the night a bad experience for those who stood near them.
So yeah I think QSMP achieved its goal to an extent, and built bridges between communities but the experience was soured by some who either didn’t care about crossing that bridge or even tried to actively sabotage it.
#qsmp fandom crit#oh my this is long#tbh anon I would say the best course of action is to focus on the people that are worth it#of course it’s impossible to ignore the shit but don’t let it ruin everything that’s worth your attention#also a 1k blocklist on twt help i have found out lmao#asks

call me crazy but i REALLY enjoyed the ending of good omens s2! (spoilers below the cut)
OKAY crowley points this out when he tells gabriel to jump out the window, but aziraphale didnt actually witness heaven's direct cruelty to him, didnt experience first hand how willing they were to throw him away and kill him the second he disagreed with them. crowley, however, did. we dont know if they ever told each other exactly what happened, or if crowley ever told zira that gabriel had said "just shut your stupid mouth and die already." it clearly lasted with crowley, he remembers the exact words.
the choice neil made for aziraphale to not yet fully understand that "good guys" and "bad guys" arent accurate depictions of heaven and hell makes sense when you realize that he's never received the reality of being punished by them. crowley isn't naive though, he's been through this more than once, has witnessed the cult like mentality of heaven and hell and tried to help aziraphale escape. he's always tried to help zira come to his own conclusions, and usually, he at least comes to an understanding (poor people DO have less opportunities, and you're helping science!). you can feel his desperation when hes asking his angel to leave with him, both in season 1 and season 2. but that resignation in his eyes when he realizes that zira is still stuck in the cult of heaven, still cant really see in shades of grey- he knows that nothing he says or does will change zira's mind; the only thing that will change his mind is seeing first hand the cruelty and lack of compassion from heaven towards aziraphale himself.
there were so many amazing moments where they showed the lack of knowledge from heaven. the rule that they're not to visit earth, not to know too much (or anything, it seems) about humans. because someone in heaven knows that access to knowledge makes you smarter, makes you curious, makes you ask questions. whether or not thats the decision of god, or of metatron remains to be seen. but one person being in charge, who's clearly clueless but pretends to know what god wants, is classic cult leader shit. people who follow along without question, who assume that their will is good- that's what the angels are. its hard to truly hate them when you realize that they're all under the same thumb. that scene when uriel asks the metatron if they've done something wrong was kind of heart breaking, they're just children playing a game they were never told all the rules to.
what makes crowley so fascinating as a character is that he's curious, he asks questions. he's not good, he's not bad, he's just... himself. honestly, he's more human than demon in his choices. what he said about following hell as far as he can, so he can stay on his own side is just perfect- and yeah, lonely. and i cant even imagine how lonely he feels now. im obsessed with how we're shown his attempts at changing aziraphale's mind - something about him being the one to encourage aziraphale to try human food, something about him inviting aziraphale to Edinburgh to show him how poverty forces you to make morally questionable choices, that not everything is black and white - idk. it's subtle, it's allowing him to come to the same conclusion on his own, it makes me want to shovel aquarium gravel into my mouth
aziraphale, when he's away from heaven's influence, is much more morally grey, he's more himself, he's happier. but as soon as his superiors are around, he loses all sense of self. he automatically assumed he was going to fall for lying to the other angels and not killing innocent children. he knows better than to ask questions, he KNOWS that what he's asked to do is sometimes wrong, but he has this cognitive dissonance he cant get past- heaven asks him to do things that are bad, but heaven isnt bad. heaven is always good, so what theyre asking must not be bad. but, killing children is pretty objectively bad. he cant kill children. but its god's will, so he has to, it must be good. but its not. and round and round it goes. he's never actually been punished by heaven firsthand, and i think once he sees close up that heaven's will isn't necessarily god's will, and that god's will is not always benevolent, he'll realize. he'll realize that you cant always change things from the inside, that there's a systematic issue that can only be solved by dismantling the institution. god i hope season 3 is dismantling heaven.
all in all i love this ending i am SUCH a sucker for escaping cult stories (nimona and she-ra, nd stevenson i love u). like your whole life you are so sure that you're doing the right thing, and then someone comes along and turns everything upside down and asks you questions, forces you to ask questions, and you can't help but defend where you came from, surely there has to be some mistake, if you could just talk to someone higher up you're sure you could clear this whole misunderstanding up, and then that higher up tell you point blank that they know what theyre doing, they know that innocent people are getting hurt. you witness their violence firsthand, and its intentional, its directed towards YOU. because you dared to ask if what we're doing is really the right thing. and that's when you finally understand.

what no sleep does to a mf (i got a paper trail analysis
funny story haha, so in a server i witnessed a few talking about what it would look like if the 7 traits were taken to an extreme, and after that i get reminded of paper trail every time i think of the extreme traits and i had to share this because this is one of the first actual "analysis" stuff i ever do
for those that have not seen nor read paper trail, see it as this has spoilers to the comic! read it right now now nown now n
lets start off with what the extreme traits are (based off two people)
determination -> obsession
bravery -> recklessness
justice -> judgementalism
kindness -> sacrifice
patience -> inaction
integrity -> blindness
perseverance -> stubbornness
(these will be explained further down the post dw)
i thought of these at least appearing once in each dark world with a trait corresponding to a prince world, hell i thought of an extreme trait being noticed in some princes, there are exceptions but the real point of this analysis is that its shown in paper trail so imma start off already before i forget
gotta start off though right off the bat that unfortunately i couldnt notice sacrifice with ralsei happening in paper trail, so thats one exception
kindness, or in this case sacrifice is not going to be mentioned moving forward until proven otherwise, sorry
so lets start with the first new prince we see in the comic instead, which would be eslira
eslira represents the patience trait but now in this case, inaction
inaction is in a way patience to an extreme since you have to wait/have tolerance a long time with patience, but you dont do anything even though you have to in certain situations with inaction
eslira throughout the whole comic, does none shit he does NOTHING at all!!!!!!!!
all the other princes did something somehow, like with aelsir's haste, the super pacify with irales and ralsei, lairse, even SARELI did something and he just lullaby'd with ralsei
but eslira? they dont do anything. they just follow along and stay in the sidelines always worried, basic inaction right there
he could in a way helped the fun gang in some small little way with the yisho fight, or in any fight really in trophy city but he does nothing at all, he just stands there worrying and and sitting and
anyway aelsir's next with bravery, or in extreme form, recklessness
its only shown once in aelsir's respective dark world, with the thunder hills and with the soul just still trekking along even though they get damaged every time a lightning hits which is every 4 seconds
recklessness IS moving along in a lack of regard for danger, while bravery is moving along even something is frightening, so i say this works!
sorry theres not much for bravery boy there isnt much to go off of extreme traitwise for his section haha
irales now
for how i see it, stubbornness is moving forward without really accepting any other paths that could be easier, good or bad while perseverance is moving forward despite difficulty
you could say that for someone to go through a hard path, and moving forward with said hard path even though theres much easier and better path, is a sign of stubbornness to me
for irales, its more of a personality thing
irales is stubborn in a way, since he doesnt seem to accept any other possible reasons and just sticks to what he sees and its only until the end he actually isnt a stubborn little fuc
okay. well you can also say lairse is stubborn as well in a way that he wont accept monsters, but its layered under an extreme justice and for a huge reason, irales' stubbornness is based off i dont know what he sees apparently (refer to previous link)
sareli's up with blindness i mean integrity i mean
as one member said, one can be blinded by their beliefs COUGH CXOUGH @mileymint COUUYGHHHHH so lets base it off that!
integrity is a truth/moral/belief related trait, and you can probably see why blindness is a possible integrity extent after i type this
for integrity to turn into blindness, one must believe that what they are doing is truly right though its really not, and even if others say otherwise, they wouldnt agree since it goes against their morals and/or beliefs, thus leading them to be "blinded" as they cant "see" what is wrong with what they believe or think is the truth
sareli, throughout his whole section, has been doubting his actions since his prophecy just tells him he will fail and even though he gets told otherwise that he CAN help, he immediately disagrees with them since it goes against with what he believed for a long time, and since it turns out he will fail anyway in the prophecy, why would he NOT fail now when he tries to do something?
and now lairse. ohh lairse where do i begin
i admit, i thought up justice's extreme trait. there was scrupulosity, but its more of obsessed with judging of oneself based off if they are against their own morals and/or religious morals/reasons, judgementalism is sortof the opposite, ie judging of others immediately possibly based of their own morals and/or to an extent, religious morals/reasons, instead of hearing their own reasonings and how they are really like
lairse immediately dislikes susie and noelle due to them being monsters, who in his eyes, are sinful for what they have done despite susie and noelle knowing none of that and having no part in that event
hell, he even told them that they weren't allowed to come with him, kris, ralsei and lancer only BECAUSE they were monsters, thats intense judgementalism right there, heading off to racist territory honestl
for determination turned to obsession, i think i can see a bit of obsession in asriel but not in the way you think
obsession can be bomped down to just having a certain idea, person, desire, or thing on your mind all the time
and assuming that while asriel was in college, he still had the thought of the trapped humans in mind almost all the time, id say that is just simple example of obsession shown in paper trail for asriel
but thats not all as i have something else.
the knight.
"but liiiiilaaaacc!!! hes not a prince and he doesnt have a dark world relating to the determination trait!!!!" like i said in the start, this was made due to me realizing how extreme traits are shown in paper trail as a comic, not just the princes. so i wouldnt say this is an exception!
the knight and asriel have, in a way, the same desire; freeing humans. its just that the knight takes it way too far
his obsession to freeing humans has turned him desperate, wanting to free his kind from the depths of the earth, trying all he can, even making a twitter account just for a chance to get us to play the game and possibly freeing all the humans by just simply playing through dark worlds
his desperateness turned to obsession for freedom of humans in a way, is what im trying to say
aaaand thats it i think! thats all i have in my mind
holy dang this took a while i hope you guys like this silly analysis this took me a long while and a lot of researching
who is reading this

ok gushing abt the best thing ever aka case 4
was not expecting maya to get kidnapped at all... it was rly shocking to see phoenix completely lose his composure when he learned that she was kidnapped, bc this was the first time tht had ever really happened. throughout the game we had seen him act differently than usual whenever edgeworth was brought up, refusing to acknowledge him and even going as far as to snap at franziska. but to see him completely lose it and become so so panicked.. THAT WAS AWESOME!!! it was very suspenseful and unnerving in the best way like GRAGHHHHH and with some New Music too.. and it was really just emotional to see wright be so panicked and at his wit's end so many times throughout this case :( it did a really excellent job at solidifying just how much maya and phoenix mean to one another..🥲 and i was really touched by maya's (and pearl's!) unwavering faith that phoenix would save her 😭
phoenix's outburst at edgeworth was so surprising to me!!! i had absolutely no idea what edgeworth's return wouldve been like and how phoenix would react to him, but i was definitely not expecting FOR HIM TO SAY HE WISHED HE WAS DEAD LIKE BRO!!!!! but it does make sense for him to react this way, hes so fucking stressed abt maya its crazy, and edgeworth just returns smug af and speaking in riddles 💢 wright's reaction also gets further explained much later where its shown that in his grief and anger, he dealt with this loss by rationalizing that edgeworth had ran away bc phoenix dented his perfect record, and thats why he says it wouldve been better for edgeworth to have stayed dead; bc to cope, he had to characterize edgeworth as a coward. and 1.) i think its so interesting that we dont understand this until near the end, meaning we as players are left clueless abt phoenix's emotional state and 2.) THIS GIVES HIM SO MUCH DEPTH and further shows us how phoenix deals with loss, my personal interpretation w the info i have is that i think this motherfucker can barely deal with loss at all, and he had to believe that edgeworth was a coward who ran away rather than a victim of suicide or something, otherwise he wouldve lost it completely. but its open-ended enough tht it can be interpreted in a variety of ways WHICH IS AWESOME!!!! WOW!!!!!! The gradual unravelling of his emotional state is just SOOO FUCKING GOOD WHWHAHHS
speaking of edgeworth, bc he made an appearance so early in the case (i wasnt expecting him to be here day 1), i had wondered what role he would be fulfill, since we already have our prosecutor franziska.... AND THEN SHE GOT SHOT?!?!? AND EDGEWORTH IS OUR PROSECUTOR AGAIN?!?!? the stakes increased like fucking crazy.... both trial days were so good, 2nd one is my fave for reasons ill state later but this first one was still good too, bc i truly wasnt sure whether my client was guilty or not.. usually theres a more likelier culprit or the game just straight up shows the actual killer, but this time around it was so woahh cuz like andrews was very obviously lying which conveniently frames her as the killer, but then like maya got kidnapped and why would she be kidnapped if engarde is innocent.. also the fact that we needed to wrap this trial up in One Day was STRESS and then towards the end suddenly WHAT andrews is saying she isnt guilty?!?! randomly accusing people of murder is actually.. a bad thing to do?!?!? (<- sarcasm ive been criticizing phoenix for this this entire time) but yeah i was legitimately blindsided by the fact tht andrews was saying she wasnt guilty, it rly was a wake-up call for me and mr. wright cuz in every past case, unraveling inconsistencies brought us to the truth, and here we did that again, but in the panic to free maya, we didnt make our assumptions as airtight as it possibly could be and we basically almost fucking... punished an innocent person which is. insane. more on this (wright's manner of defense getting criticized) later..
also i was worried that id have to use andrews' mental illness against her to save maya which wouldve been a terrible terrible thing to do. luckily edgeworth is way edgier than i ever thought he could be and like a goddamn bastard he revealed her illness to everyone so i didnt have to. and yes towards the end that helps everyone including andrews, but at the time that was fucking FUCKEDDD up of him. my god. another note abt edgeworth, my memory is imperfect so maybe this isnt true at all, but in this trial it really did feel like edgeworth had changed a lot. like he actually gave wright multiple turns to speak, didnt rush the verdict, and when he saw wright's panic, he actually helped to prolong the trial..... like omg. hes no longer a von karma!!! THAT IS EPIC!!! but yes first trial day was crazily amazing, and when it ended with a new sprite of phoenix with his head in his hands that was really :((((( like that actually surprised tf out of me and made me so sad......
ok time to talk abt narumitsu. in this universe where every character behaves so over the top, more reigned-in and subtle emotional reactions tend to be much more striking and its bc of this reason that i find the interactions between wright and edgeworth to be soo compelling.. like its hard to explain cuz these guys do have their dramatic af moments, what with the way they are in court + faking suicide + phoenix's outburst, but their interactions are still grounded in a degree of subtlety, they dont have emotionally charged shouting matches or weep openly or whatever, and when they do lose composure, theres a gradual build-up to it. what im basically saying is that im a huge fan of the restraint in their relationship, i think it makes for an extremely interesting and enticing dynamic and their interactions in this last case was just so so good bc of this, phoenix is clearly still angry yet edgeworth is clearly trying to help him, and even tho hes still pissed wright accepts his help bc they are adults who have a job to do and its only towards the very end do they properly air out their feelings like Yesssss i love this. also!! i really liked how their roles have swapped around in this game, in the first game phoenix was saving edgeworth; he helped him realize the errors of his ways and later defended him when edgeworth was on trial, and now in this game edgeworth is returning the favor, and is making phoenix realize the error of HIS ways and is helping him to save maya... like that is GROWTH!!! and of course the way their rejection towards one another has swapped too, first game had edgeworth rejecting us and putting us down cuz we're rookies, and this time around wright is the one rejecting edgeworth cuz he thinks hes still a petty perfection-driven lawyer. but they still manage to bypass these presumptions and save one another. it came back full circle in such a great way that im like so satisfied with it to a point tht im curious if edgeworth will even do anything in the next game bc like is there anything more to be said and done??
moving on, 2nd trial is easily my favorite trial so far bc of how its such a subversion of everything ive came to expect from these trials, mia's wisdom of believing in your client no longer holds steadfast but i cant just out my client cuz 1.) i am a goddamn defense attorney and 2.) maya's life is being held ransom. and also like we have to prolong this trial for as long as possible so the cops can search for maya but we also cant just throw shit around and get penalties, we have to defend our client who we know is guilty but we cant defend him TOO well or andrews is going to the fucking gallows, god andrews... when i accused her AGAIN i prayed that she would beat the fuck out of me and edgeworth after the trial bc this poor innocent woman.. we have been putting her thru hell. and also like god wright's and edgeworth's roles has essentially been swapped around w the way i have to accuse an innocent person and edgeworth has to be the one to protect her like its CRAZY!!!! its mind games on mind games on mind games and everything is topsy turvy and so intense and still manages to be funny with phoenix throwing the phone across the goddamn courtroom but also sad with him breaking down towards the end and the TENSION with waiting for gumshoe to arrive with the evidence and FRANZISKA VON KARMA SAVING THE DAY like this last case was a such masterclass in pacing, every fucking beat just hit so precisely it was SUCH a good experience... WOAHHHH!!!
and ofc ive mentioned this already but seriously this case touched on everything i had wanted this series to touch on its like it read my mind or something hello....
like theres almost nothing i need to add on bc this case practically spelled everything out omg. throughout these past 2 games ive been giving phoenix shit for just randomly accusing witnesses of being perpetrators, and like i get it this is what phoenix has to do, bc he lives in a world where the justice system is so fucked up that people get accused w the filmiest of evidence and phoenix really does need to find the actual perpetrator to free his client, i get it. but in doing so we run the risk of accusing another innocent person of something they didnt do, bc a lot of the time we're accusing these people without decisive evidence. and thats what nearly happened in this case with ms andrews, she was innocent but we almost damned her for something she didnt do, which is greatly ironic considering that a large reason why phoenix became a lawyer was bc he was saved from a false conviction (a class trial, but still).
and the reason phoenix does this (this = somewhat baselessly accusing others of being guilty), is bc of what mia had taught him: to believe in your client. because our client is innocent, another party must be guilty. this is how we've handled every case so far. so during this engarde case, where we learn that our client actually is guilty, and phoenix starts to lose his mind… edgeworth tells wright his most vital lesson yet: that they are not heroes, they are lawyers.
brief mini tangent b4 i circle back to this idea of being a lawyer rather than a hero: while i was wrapping up that miserable experience of a third case, i was wondering to myself what the overarching message of this game would be. the only thing thts really been tying these past three cases together have been edgeworth's disappearance, compared to the first game which hinted at narumitsu's shared backstory + dl-6 which it then had its climax with. so obviously edgeworth will play a big role in this last case… but then what? what is he going to do? what message will he deliver? i didnt have a clue, and then the final case rolled in and the overarching message it delivered was this: being a lawyer isnt about saving people, nor is it about being a hero. this is why mia's belief of 'believing in your client' falls short, bc simply 'saving' someone bc u believe in their innocence isnt enough. otherwise, this would mean that those that we believe are guilty arent deserving of a defense, which is why wright was so conflicted upon learning of his client's crime. but this isnt what being a lawyer is about, instead its as edgeworth had said;
what it means to be a lawyer is to defend/prosecute to the best of your ability, regardless of your whether you believe the defendant is guilty or not. it means to have faith in the opposing party, and that if your claim is a false one, said opposing party will expose the faults in your claim. and as to whether the defendant is truly guilty or not, that can only be decided once both prosecution and defense have unveiled the truth together. this is what it means to have a fair trial, what it means to be a lawyer: it is about having faith in the ability of the opposing party, it's about being able to trust others. this is what edgeworth had learned in the year tht he's been gone, and is now here to teach to phoenix.
in this last case, wright finally learns what it fucking means to be a goddamn lawyer, what it really means to be a defense attorney. wright is able to defend engarde, despite knowing that he is guilty, bc he has faith in edgeworth's prosecuting abilities. it is thru their trust in one another that they were able to prolong the trial long enough for franziska to arrive with decisive evidence. as a lawyer, wright must be capable of defending even those who he believe may be criminals, bc a proper defense, fair trials, and justice, isnt something that can just be cherry-picked and handed out to select individuals. true justice is something that everyone deserves. justice… is.. for all…
JUSTICE FOR ALL!!!!!
this, of course, can only happen in a fair and just world, where neither defense or prosecution is corrupt with say, forged evidence and fabricated testimonies or whatever, and an unbiased judge. this world is clearly not ace attorney's world, nor is it our non-fictional world. but i still find it so remarkable that in this fictional world where the judicial system has been perverted nearly beyond recognition, these characters were still able to deliver this semblance of truth, and illustrate the purpose, function, and importance of a fair trial. i really do love it when stories use exaggerated and absurd environments to convey messages which are deeply relevant to our own world. and i find it especially neat how in the first game, it was the prosecutors who were being scrutinized; von karma's and lana skye's fabrications being brought to light, with edgeworth closely trailing behind the footsteps of these two. but this time around its the defense being scrutinized, with both phoenix's and mia's unwillingness to properly defend engarde coming back to bite them several times.
another neat thing is that i really like this dialogue from mia after the trial ends:
which is her referring to whichever choice we made right before franziska saved the day; either securing the non guilty verdict, or claiming that engarde is guilty. i was very happy to learn that mia says this regardless of which choice you pick, bc neither options are necessarily incorrect. if you say engarde is guilty, it means that being a lawyer means to believe in your own convictions and moral compass. if you secure a not guilty verdict for instead, it means being a lawyer, a defense lawyer, is about defending your client to the best of your ability, regardless of ur own personal beliefs. both of these are admirable traits to have in a lawyer which is why either choice are praised equally…. THIS CASE IS SO GOODFJSDLJFK
some other final comments before i wrap this up: i was so relieved to see andrews smile at the end of everything T_T i think shes a subtle parallel to wright, edgeworth, and franziska, as all four of them have lost their mentors and are struggling bc of it. all 4 of them were dependent on their mentors to various degrees, but by the end of the case, they are able to extract themselves from their mentors' shadows, and are able to forge a new path for themselves. wright learns that theres more to being an attorney than believing in one's client, edgeworth and franziska put von karma's legacy of perfection behind them, and andrews learns to be comfortable with herself 🥲🧡 also gumshoe was such a real one in this case…. i am so sorry for previously cussing you out when u wouldnt give me evidence. through our time together you have become a friend to me <3

Hello! I am coming to you with Christmas/reveal update: So first of, Merry Christmas, i hope you had a lovely day. And second: yesterday my day started with my brother waking up probably the whole neighborhood by blasting Christmas music and then he immediately forced me to open presents. His “bad present” to me btw was my own candle that was already half used. So that made me fell a bit better about his present. Let’s get to the thing we all care about, btw i was so fucking nervous, it’s actually ridiculous even though I knew he wouldn’t freak out. Anyway: he opened his present and saw the shirt and he started laughing so much and was like ‘oh fuck i can’t wait to wear this to my check up on Wednesday’ and then he found the note… and he stared at it and then looked at me, looked at the note, looked back at me and went ‘isnt that the site that banned porn?’ Out of all things i thought he’d say, that one wasn’t even near the list. And i was like ‘yeah, im sorry. Originally i just wanted to tell the person how you started watching it and how she kinda had something to do with it and then it just kind of…blew up and other people wanted to hear your thoughts’ and he looked at me surprised and went ‘people…as in plural..*looks at me almost a bit scared* so like…do they hate my thoughts and me oooorrr would we be friends if we met?’ And then i told him that to my knowledge, he was liked and the look on his face was priceless ngl. And then he went ‘show me the blog’ and i had your blog already pulled up all the way down to the first ever message (which holy shit..i almost feel bad for all the spam, bless your heart for putting up with me) and he spent hours going through them. I’m talking every answer/comment/post.. and when he finished he went ‘damn…i was going through it. I’m so glad I matured since then. But im happy they didn’t witness my season 1 reactions’ (he has not matured. He is still the same minus all the meds. During s1 he threw a bag of candy at the tv when Craig showed up..) after that he told on me to our parents and he started that conversation by saying ‘merry Christmas, hey guess what? I’m famous!’ I got in trouble a LITTLE bit BUT he did defend it with ‘no no guys, you dont get it. I’m famous! To like 5 people but that’s still a lot of people!’ He also called our uncle and was like ‘you made bets on me being gay cause of Brian? That’s messed up bro.’ He spent the entire day going through the messages multiple times and told his friends about it.
And then today he wanted me to send you guys a message in his name and i wanted to die inside. His only order was to type everything he says. So my apologies in advance, he proof read this entire message and still wanted to send it as it was. So without further ado, here’s a message from the man himself:
Should I start with hello or sup? Hi everyone, how are you guys? Hope Christmas didn’t suck for you. Yesterday i found out about this blog and my partial participation in it. So hello, first of all I gotta say: Jinx is fucking cool so I already like the person who runs the blog. Make sure you let them know that. And ask what their favorite drag race moment with Jinx was? Okay, second of all: that photo meme someone made with Kevin Hart being Bri Bri was the best fucking thing I’ve seen in a while, it made me laugh so much. I sent it to all my friends to show them, hope that’s okay. Anyway now to the important shit: I am very happy that I was able to entertain you people throughout the last few months even if it was without my knowledge. I am also 100% very fucking confused about it. I actually thought my reactions were pretty fucking normal and that mom and dad were being dramatic but now being able to go back and see them…i would lie and say it was the meds but my sister clearly provided some other stories so I can’t even lie that I’m usually normal. Whatever. But i am happy to learn that I am not the only one when it comes to being in love with Blondie and Brian. Or the real life versions of them. Although there’s not a lot of them in any behind the scenes stuff or even interviews or photos and my sister told me that that hasn’t changed even now, so what the fuck is up with that? I was ready to reactivate my instagram to keep up with them, only to learn that I got better chance seeing Jesus come back to life than to see them post a fucking photo especially Gale. Kinda fucked up and rude but whatever, I’ll live. I think. Probably not.
Anyway, glad to know we had similar feelings about some stuff and that I’m not alone in thinking Mike and Ben are fucking boring. Felt good to be understood. And I’m happy to know that without my knowledge I was accepted into your little club. I read every answer to my sisters messages and even some, is it comments? Well I read those little notes too and some of them made me laugh and you guys all sound pretty fucking dope. I mean someone all the way from fucking Europe kept up with me? I am so sorry to that person but also that’s so cool.
And I want to say thanks for the well wishes! I saw that at the beginning there were some replies wishing me fast recovery and all that shit, so thanks for that! That’s very sweet of them especially since they don’t know me. Let them know i find out on Wednesday if I can go home next week and that i might get my cast removed. Okay, now i leave them with my farewell message: You guys are cool, thanks for making me a member of the club. I appreciate that a lot. Fandoms are fucking dope cause it’s just bunch of people loving the same thing and isn’t that fucking cool to think about? Just bunch of people coming together because of their love for something. So it’s nice to be in another fandom. I met my best friend cause we both love Iron Man. Hug your homies or whoever you want and pet an animal if you can! And while you’re at it, tell a republican to go fuck themselves. Especially right now. Bye. Let them know I threw a peace sign up at the end.
FRIENDS IF YOU ARE READING THIS GO TO MY BLOG AND READ FROM THE START OF THE MOST RECENT UPDATES BECAUSE THIS IS THE SWEET SWEET FINALE TO THIS CRAZY LITTLE TRIP.
Hello brother anon! (Dear sweet anon, please show him this message). I’m so glad you’ve taken this all with a big heart and a sense of humor. But give what your sister has shared with us and the way you’ve joined your local drag community, I didn’t think you would be super pissed. But you never know. As this is a show that has been off the air for nearly 20 years, the fandom is small and we very rarely get new content (the newest content was 2020) so having your updates via your sister was an incredible breath of fresh air. Thank you from the entire tumblr fandom!
This? This is what it’s about:
Fandoms are fucking dope cause it’s just bunch of people loving the same thing and isn’t that fucking cool to think about? Just bunch of people coming together because of their love for something. And while you’re at it, tell a republican to go fuck themselves. Especially right now. Bye. Let them know I threw a peace sign up at the end.
This is what it is all about. Fandom is about the people just as much as the canon on which it is based. We are small but mighty and we are happy and delighted to welcome you with open arms.
My favorite Jinkx moments? Oh god, to have to choose? Ofc her iconic snatch game performances - all stars 7 of course of course but her snatch game as Little Edie on S5… whenever I wash my hair and put it up in a turban I like to go find my spouse (not hard, we live in a 2 bedroom apartment) and quote her line “I can never tell if it’s caviar or giblets for the cats” and I get bonus points if I actually grab a can of cat food for my performance. I’ve gotten to see her live twice - her and Dela’s holiday show in 2019 (I think - or it was 2018) and her most recent one-person show. I am SO EXCITED TO SEE HER IN DOCTOR WHO.
Much love to both of you - Siblings Anon. (makes fist) Ally.

good morning everyone it's 2am time to talk about doctor who
in russell's infinite wisdom and ingenuity, it seems he saw the uninteresting ending to the star beast and the whole metacrisis arc and thought. i can do one worse.
the first part was a slam dunk in setting up an interesting and compelling idea in a way that brings in old and new viewers alike. the second part made scrappy doo's mutant form look like peak cinema.
similarly to the beautifully executed series 10 finale, it seems like rtd tried to take a slower approach to the second part. but it just ends up feeling like a weird copy of flux. everyone but the doctor, their companions and no interesting people survive a cataclysmic event that should have killed everyone.
of course, in classic rtd fashion, they look into the heart of the tardis and pull the ghost shift lever, magically saving the day by pulling the flailing dog sutekh through the time vortex, magically undoing all the bad stuff. this episode didnt even kill kate. at least series 3 killed the president.
it feels kinda silly to have sutekh not kill the doctor or ruby until he gets answers about ruby's mother. but deeper, i think it reflects the fans' incessant needs to get answers for every little thing. who is ruby's mum? does it matter? maybe she isnt the god of life or whatever. maybe shes just a regular damn woman.
the whole episode had weird pacing especially near the start with the whole kind woman thing. it felt like the episode had such a simple solution that they had to slow down everything else to make it last long enough. the original pyramids of mars felt a lot better paced, and it managed to squeeze the solution out in the last few minutes.
i liked the idea of sutekh witnessing the entire travels of the doctor since pyramids of mars and building power over time. but making him a weird cg dog thing was weird and silly. in the original serial, he has a very menacing presence, despite being paralysed for most of it. i do like how sutekh's desire for knowledge is what brings him down. curiosity killed the dog.
i think if i rated this as a single story rather than 2 episodes i would be letting down the first part, which is a solid like 8/10 or so. the second part is more like a 6/10. enjoyable, but also what?
now we will all spend 6 months pretending ruby is gone for good and will definitely not be in the christmas special written by steven moffat or in season 2 at all. nope nope nope shes gone forever. until then!

thoughts #1: Kaleidoscope by Goldberry
link to story: https://m.fanfiction.net/s/2212118/1/
its another of many stories that were written before my parents had even conceived me
I'd seen this story floating around a lot for yearssssss from the general search bar to ppls favorites lists but for some reason i'd never clicked on it until today. I can really say that i regret not reading it sooner. The first thought i had after finishing the story was "younger me was so stupid..." I guess the description scared me off but looking back idk how it couldve been scary at all. I guess i should attritube that to my low level reading comprehension at the time but anyway
Goldberry is kinda mother (or father idk)... they're like a major diety in nejitenism everyone knows them and respects them. Their work was revolutionary.. its mandatory curriculum at all schools in nejitenlandia. Ive always wished i was born sooner to witness the golden age of nejiten but also that would mean id be old af now (no offense). That reminds me.. i was gonna say i wonder how goldberry is now and how they're doing now (are they alive?!) but clicking on their ffn page.... they literally publiushed a genshin impact story like 4 months ago bruh
ANYWAY here is my official review of "Kaleidoscope"
At first i was just gagged at how good the writing was. Like the opening scene scared me cuz it seemed wordy (im stupid) but im glad i fought through it (theres nothing to fight thru its pretty light if ur not stupid). They are so descriptive and smart in their writing. Theyre especially good at creating rly specific tones.. kinda withdrawn and melancholy which perfectly fits neji in that time in the story. Ya so i was just gagged at how intelligent the writing is. Its a great example of how tone can be used to characterize
The story itself is so perfect for me cuz i lowk hate ooc super sweet kekekuku stories (SOMETIMES) but this was so smooth and intimate without being all up in ur pussy idk how else to describe it but it just fit nejiten's dynamic so well cuz u know... theyre not kekekuku but are still scarily close in their own way
I think ppl are scared of writing friends to lovers cuz how do u even write someone realizing their feelings. Usually its like the guy sees the girl in a dress or something and is like wow😍😍😍😍😍💦💦💦💦💦i actually like you 😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ but here its a very thought out and natural realization that you dont even realize how sudden it is (DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE):
"After about half an hour they would settle, each of them slipping off into dreamland. Neji, however, did not that night. There was a thought turning in his mind, taking on different shapes as he added to it. Finally, when he was sure he knew what it meant, he turned over, his milky eyes finding her shape in the darkness."
This was so good liek instead of actually painstakingly rifling through his thoughts its just a few short sentences in summary. I guess the main point is the outcome rather than the actual inner turmoil or wtvr. Actually we dont even know if it was turmoil, it certainly isnt phrased like one. "Thought turning," "taking on different shapes as he added to it," its just an eventual conclusion after thorough exploration. So cute im kekekuku and then the next line..
"Neji knew."
It's so short but so meaningful. Like ya. He knows. He doesnt fight it or zealously double down on it. He just lets it sit and exist. Nejiten ffn is famous for letting things just sit and exist, its a very hmm... idk the right word... professional? Withdrawn? ship... idk if u get it u get it
It even says it in the story, its a surprising "but not unwelcome" revelation. He himself doesnt even know what to think about it but its okay because things will happen when they happen
Looking back its a bittersweet ending knowing how nejiten turned out liekk i kinda feel bad for the author.. little did they know what the future held.... but im still glad they wrote and kept this story out there like thankGOD
I have a million more thoughts but school is beating my ass and i havent even started my math hw i just needed to get this out of my system
Oh also i would pair this story with the song "seasons" by wave to earth. Esp the beginning. Its a super slow descension into the main melody but when the main song hits IT HITS and it kinda reminded me of this story. Nejiten's fall into something more is super gradual and slow and barely noticeable like on a random rainy night in a random inn far away but IT HITS.... trust me....(i sound crazy) also the second part of the song "i cant be ur love im afraid ill ruin ur life" ... iykyk (i dont know)
But ya thats all i have for now final rating 10/10 so cute so kekekuku so nejiten so intelligent
post read feeling:

"there was no sense of foreboding - no dimming of the sun, no foreshadowing of the arrival of death at their door. Perhaps the universe should have designed to provide such warning."
-Scythe
"the question is, what colour will everything be at that moment when i come for you? what will the sky be saying?"
-the book thief
"i witness the ones who are left behind, crumbling amongst the jigsaw puzzle of realisation, despair and surprise. they have punctured hearts, they have beaten lungs."
-the book thief
"grays love life and anything that reminds them of being alive. salt, sugar, sweat. fighting and fucking, tears and blood and human drama."
-ninth house
it keeps coming round to this one fact. we are all going to die. everything we ever did will not matter anymore. i saw it all unfold once more....and this is how it went down.
death sure does have a flare for the dramatic doesn't it?
everytime i have seen him, (which isnt much...) it's always like this. the person lying there in their own pee and shit, the smell filling the room, and the sweat beading on them like idk what. their eyes glassy and their mouth open, the veins popping out, their skin so pale and glassy, even after still having blood...
rn i can hear his wife howling in pain, confusion, at the absolute absurdity of it all. that's all you can do when you have such a close encounter...i hear the family, loud and clear through the walls. their collective voices almost resonating in my ears, begging to be heard. the screams, the howling...of course i can run from it...go anywhere where i can't hear them, but somehow i cannot move. where will i even go? i will never be able to escape the fact that i saw it all happen, i met him once again, and looked him right in the eyes and heard him laughing at me. laughing at all of us.
i'm just paralysed right now, fixed in place. like in a trance, listenig to the screams, and my father's angry yelling for me to drink the coffee he made me, the truth is, i hate the coffee he makes. i'm eating an apple, it tastes so alive. i can hear my cat meowing in his gentle voice and my sister meowing back. it's all so alive...the crying, the screaming, the yelling, the meowing, the apple.
i put on my headphones to block out the noise...because what else can i do? it all happened in front of me, i entered to room after i heard the screaming. i saw him lying on the bed, pale and withering. his mouth and eyes open, with a strong scent of death all over him.
they always smell like that.
i saw his head on three pillows, first removed those to level his head so as to get the circulation back into it. then i checked his pulse and i knew he was dead, gone, finished. i could see him standing in the corner then, just staring at the chaos unfold. i could have told his wife what had happened when she asked, but instead the aunty beside me told her that he still had a pulse. he did not. i did CPR...making my compressions two inches deep. then my father came and took over, he looked at me like saying "is he...?"
and my eyes betrayed the truth.
he stil did the compressions, i stood with his wife, letting her cry in my shoulder...her repeating the same phrase my father was repeating when maa died. it all came back to me in that moment, and all i could do was laugh...that's all came aout of me. a small chuckle at this game. everytime the same.
his wife, in her grief told me he was happy and well just a few moments before...he had just met with his son, who did not live with them anymore.
the other aunty came and told his wife to shut up because if she did not, bad things would get into her subconcious. and then they WOULD happen. but i think bad things wont come to mind unless they were happening. our subconcious tells us eberything, prepares us for what is coming. it translates us the song of death.
and i am sure everyone in that room knew what had happened, but we still tried everything we could. i went in the room where my father was vigorously rubbing the man's feet and hands, and doing CPR, even when we knew it won't do anything. the ambulance wasn't comng anytime soon, so we decided to take him to the hospital ourselves...father told the aunty to park the car downstairs, we tried to pick him up, but his limbs and head were limp, so my father told us to wrap him up in bedsheets and make a stretcher/cradle out of it.
we did, then my father, me and a few other men pulled him down about 50 stairs...my father told me he'd pick up the body and and push it in the car and i had to pull. i did, i folded his knees and we put some pillows near his neck. it was all for nothing ofc, except to provide a relief to the family that we did do everything to save her husband.
and then they were all gone to the hospital, and i was left to go home, and i called Zainab.
