My First Post Ever 😊

First Day on Tumblr: October 15th, 2021

I decided to make a Tumblr, mostly to follow people with interesting blogs, but I might also blog myself! I do love to write (even though I haven’t in a long time). Who knows. ❤

Hey!

So I guess I’ve started a blog now! This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, and as you may have guessed, this blog is going to be about all things Disney (not that I’m obsessed or anything). A little bit more about me, I’m a disneybounder, which I do every day (if you haven’t heard of disneybounding, it’s styling outfits around a particular character, theme, setting, ride or park- (really cool you should check it out). I am going to try and post photos of my outfits most days (if not every day), and do little blog posts like this one. So, if you have got to the end of this little ramble then first of all that makes me verrrrrry happy, thank you ☺! I’m going to use this as a way to track my bounds and maybe connect with some of you guys (I’d also really love to connect with some other bounders if you are out there!) So after realising I use brackets like cinderella gets through shoes I am going to sign off tonight.

Currently I'm reading The Last Temptation of Christ by Nikos Kazantzakis and it's going pretty interesting. Before the semestre officially begins, I want to read as much as I can and I'm trying to make myself a book list so if you have any recommendations, please let me know :))))

After I got kinda bored of reading I studied french a bit. And it was good :) It's been almost a year since I studied french because of university-exams so I had missed it a lot.

SINGING TIPZZZ (part one)

Hello! For you cool kids out there who like singing and are just getting started.......... SUPPORT YOUR VOICE!!! The most common mistake I see (and even struggle with sometimes) is supporting your voice! You can practice doing this by taking in a big breath, putting your thumbs underneath your ribcage when you sing, and making sure it DOES NOT FALL! It's such a shame when people who love singing have SuCh a BiG vOiCe but have no way to control it, voice control builds an important foundation to having a reliable voice and SUPPORTING YOUR VOICE is a great foundation for voice control, laters my pretties! (Ps this is my first actual post!!)

So I was once told by a close friend that I should share my art. Nobody had ever responded to my creative side in this way until now but I have always wanted to share it with the world somehow. I guess you never know until you try, so here goes....

I have been journaling and scrapbooking for 15 years, and marching to beat of my own drum for even longer.

I have become interested in tarot and yoga in the last couple of years, and I find that even if you don’t believe in it, spirituality can have a huge impact on your life. I was raised Catholic, but I was also raised to question everything and come up with my own solutions if I didn’t love what I was being taught. So that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 15 years of my life. The first 15 was me trying to navigate how to live on this massive rock.

Here’s what I’ve come up with in my short time here:

- Be willing to listen to the opinion of others and even if you disagree with them, you can learn something

- Be open with your belief system. Even in an organized religion, people will disagree. There is not only one way to go about life. If you believe this, then you’re doing something wrong. Life isn’t black and white, there are mostly grey areas.

-People are mostly good. If a person is acting like an ass to you, there is probably something deeper going on.

-We are all trying to figure out who we are and how we relate to others in this world, be kind, even if you don’t agree with someone. Even if you aren’t sure how to act. Being kind will always help.
