#here’s my take:#serizawa occasionally did spend money on gacha games BUT because it was his mothers money and he felt guilty he didn’t gamble too much#after getting his first paycheck from reigen he thinks about spending it on a gacha banner but then thinks about how a Professional(tm) acts#reigen however.#he’s implied to be prone to addiction ( alcohol and smoking) and i don’t think he actively gambles on things (he knows scams well)#i think it’s a slippery slope. without input from his companions he’d fall from grace in seconds flat#anyway i think ritsu plays a mobile game and gets too invested and on the last day of an event he really wants an exclusive item#so he pays real money and then gets so guilty he throws up#mp100#mob psycho 100

ironically i love thrifting but ive never thought about using ebay, do you have any tips or keywords you use on it to find deals and shifty stuff/wording to look out for?
honestly I don't find ebay to be shifty for buying stuff! people are scared about using it sometimes and I think it's a little funny lol I guess the tip would be that if you search for an item with vague enough terms, you'll get some SHEIN-esque mass produced clothes muddying the results. and you know it when you see it, because those listings look like shit btw. this type of thing:
like, these are real listings and everything, and you'd get the product, but they are obviously not what you're looking for. you can ignore these, but if you want to filter them out, you can just narrow the search to SPECIFICALLY pre-owned items.
There isn't really any wording to look out for-- the only other thing would just be to make sure the stuff you get can be returned, bc sellers can specify whether or not they'll take the items back!
#aside from that you can search by brand if you're looking specifically for like. modcloth dresses#you can look for that! and obviously it lets you sort by size and color and whatever#people post pics of the clothes on a hanger or laying flat on a bed/table or on a mannequin#or they'll reupload the original product photo from the origin website lol and that's fine too. honestly sometimes prefer that.#people really optimize search terms on there so you can be vague or specific it doesn't really matter#I think pre-op I was looking for button up pajama tops. bc they're soft and have fewer buttons. and I looked exclusively for pre-owned#so they'd be cheap lol#ebay is really strict actually and if an item doesn't show up or there's a hole in a shirt or whatever you aren't left in the lurch#and the sellers really really want good ratings#sergle answers#It's a problem though actually bc I really really really like shopping for clothes. but also. I got no money#there's lots of great stuff ppl put on ebay instead of in a physical thrift store

i'm learning a lot about methods of playing the game that i didn't even know existed . like items and medals and things that are all just completely and utterly unheard of to me. and where am i getting this information ? yeah man that's right. IT'S fanfiction

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol
#sculpture#ooops.. i could have posted this on the art blog but I forgor and do not feel like reuploading everything#into a new drafted post on a whole other blog.. not in this heat.. i have no patience lol#items are: tomato. asparagus. a four leaf clover (not food lol). some sort of folded bun or dumpling with meat inside (not based on#anything specific. I just wanted to fold a flat sheet of clay into a shape). pomegranate. cheese wheel. lemon slice. some sort of mushroom.#fish (not a real one. just made up. if it looks like any specific fish that'd be interesting). and fig.#I haven't been able to get many avocaodo pits to carve again. so sculpting. then is good for a tiny craft#WISH I COULD DO COSTUMES OR SOMETHING.. i have some pikced out. bundles of clothes laying on the floor of the closet#but GODS even before the heat wave it's just been so warm.. I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm#but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets#at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal..#anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe#The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside#that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue#and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them.#It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell#the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm#I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition#OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting#tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

I'm just thinking about Look Outside. Game is fucking good man. Game is fucking good....
#RV's Originals#Every day I wake up and start planning what I'm gonna do next game session. Because it's holidays and I can do this.#Just lyin in bed thinking about the guys in it & what could possibly happen in the endings & what I'd like to do in a replay.#It's just such a good setting. And it's all put together so brilliantly. Somehow the monsters make it feel so human#I found this weird thing with Joel where if you get the event where he wants to go get games from his flat and let him go#prompting him to not come back and leave your party#If you re-enter the bathroom he's there again and totally reset to his pre-recruitment state#You can re-recruit him and all his stats and items are reset too#I'm not sure if that's a bug or just a weird oversight but it's pretty interesting. Glad I had a save though.#It's total random chance so when I reloaded he just didn't ask to go get his Super Jump Mans.#I feel weirdly guilty about it though.... He surely learned the truth of what had happened and I just reset it#Such is my power as the game-player....#That being said I don't think the occasional wire-exposing moment detracts from the experience. It's nice to be reminded someone made this.#And I do really like the randomness of the party members and their interactions. More real and interesting.#This is one of the key ways in which I differ from my little brother who will die if a game isn't exclusively governed by his own choices.#Which I imagine is why he likes Advance Wars Re-Bootcamp and I like the original Beach Buggy Racing#Should I tag this? sure I guess.
