#tbt to our last weekend at the Saturday flea market during our 300 hour YTT in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. ✌🏻 . Coming back from Cali, I was pretty shocked. No, not the cold, but how freakin’ happy I was to be home in B💛STON. . Since I was 14 years old, I’ve dreamed of California. What it would be like. How I would save up and move there. Classic dramatic teenage rebellion ish. . But coming home, I have this intense relief and a major (somewhat obvious) revelation. All that I need in my life right now is here, in Boston. I am - b l e s s e d - beyond belief with a true sense of santosha, or contentment, for the first time in a while. . As @ciarandotcom so lovingly reminded me, “It’s not where you live your life, it’s who’s in it.” Because of him 🍯🍑, my friends, family, studios, teachers, students, clients, mentors, etc. — I know that to be true. . But it’s also not JUST who’s in your life, it’s HOW you choose to live it each day. First of all, we get to •c h o o s e• and that’s a miracle. So I choose love. Love for myself. Love for others, especially strangers in an effort of making their day a teeny bit brighter. Love for my students and their journey of betterment through the practice of yoga. Love for my teachers and all they have learned being ahead of me on this path to sharing wellness with the world. . L O V E is my r e l i g i o n. It is in all that I do.
