G3 Pony 015 - Fluttershy

"Smile for the camera! Fluttershy is going to take your picture! She loves to take pictures of her friends having fun. When she is not snapping photos, she likes to window shop at all the sweet boutiques in Ponyville!"

Disclaimer: This is a redesign of Generation 3 Fluttershy, not Friendship is Magic Fluttershy!

My Fluttershy is still soft-spoken but is a wonderful photographer. She mainly likes to take pictures of nature and environments, but makes her money through commissions. Whether it be weddings, family photos, etc. She enjoys going to the mall or the town square to window shop. She isn't always looking to buy. She tends to become very inspired by looking at the clothing and loves to make suggests to Rainbow Dash on what to model in.

NEW PONYSONA LETS GO ! ! ! ! I adopted this little fella off of Toyhouse! I've always loved,,, changelings,, they're just like weird little bug horses. i didnt watch far enough in the show to see them be reformed, but i like the idea that it happened! I also have always had a love for lightning bugs (or fireflys, whatever you happen to call them), which this design was based on. i love them sm. I think i'm just gonna name them Firefly or Lightning Bug to keep it simple?? but most of the time, i'll probably call him Buggy. (He/They)

two very different not-ponies

for the record i DID name scylla after epic the musical but i've named characters after greek mythology before epic the musical existed so.

anyways all my ponies for my hypothetical g6 has been from past generations (including rosedust here, who is from g1) so i thought id spice it up with an OC.

and for the record. in this universe flutterponies and breezies are the same thing, just interchangeable terms.

The G5 series bible for My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, which Gillian Berrow created in 2021, has been shared online. The document contains detailed backstories and several ideas for the show that were previously not known. It was drafted on June 14, 2021, so some plans may have changed since then.

This post only contains some of the most interesting new details. The full 36-page document can be found here.

What Happened to Equestria

(according the the show bible)

From the comics we knew that Opaline attacked Equestria, but was stopped by Mane 6. To make sure that all the magic never again fell into the evil, Twilight gathered all magic and placed it into Unity Crystals. (This part of the story was previously revealed in the comics.)

From the series bible, we got new information about what happened to the crystals and the origins of Maretime Bay, Bridlewood and Zephyr Heights. The Mane 6 and Starlight become protectors of the unity crystals, and they had a Unity Festival every year to celebrate friendship and recharge the magic.

But as generations passed, ponies forgot the meaning of the Unity Festival and eventually magic fades away.

Opaline's Backstory and Skyros

Opaline was older then Celestia and Luna, but was livid when the alicorn leader, The Reine Alicorn, choose the young sisters to be the next rulers of Equestria.

Season 2, 3 plans and bat ponies or flutter ponies

The plan for season 2, 3 which would expand the G5 universe. The aurora ponies and sea ponies have been seen in the show and the idea of bat ponies and flutterponies were being considered.

There are several other interesting details in the series bibles, like the pegasi controlling weather magic after the magic got stronger, or how Dapple is initially named Bongo in this document, and the information about "new harmony trees", which became called "Together Trees" in Make Your Mark.

G3 Pony 009 - Star Swirl

Seeing as Star Swirl shares a similar name and appearance to Strawberry Swirl, I head canon them to be sisters!

Proposal for a My Little Pony Reboot:

We are in a distant future of Equestria. The Great War between the pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies is now legend, and the three factions have long been supplanted by their radical new descendants: the flutterponies, the kirins, and the sleipnirs. An exploratory sea vessel crewed by a ragtag team of misfits runs afoul of a sinister plot by a group of dark pony thieves, and with no help within reach, try to bring the criminals to justice, only for both ships to crash on an unknown and unexplored new continent.

As the two factions set up base camps and prepare to fight for survival, the leader of the good ponies declares that now the Beast Wars have begun.
