if you are at all interested in knowing the history behind what’s happening in palestine rn, i’d highly recommend this documentary!! it’s ~90 minutes and is the most informative, well-researched, and widely accessible documentation of the history that i’ve yet seen.

the directors (one of whom is a palestinian woman from the west bank as well as a doctor of history, and the other of whom has a phd in middle east studies) cohosted a screening of it at my university yesterday and literally everyone who came to it walked away with a new understanding of the ongoing nakba. it features interviews from both palestinians and israelis who were there in 1948. you get to hear from them directly about what they’ve lived through and done. it’s difficult to watch, but i cannot recommend it enough.
