Este fin de semana toca cine clásico y hoy empecé por uno de los mejores western: «Fort Apache» de John Ford. Si la película es una de mis películas favoritas del género,es por el guion y dirección de John Ford y por las magníficas interpretaciones de Henry Fonda y John Wayne. «Fort Apache» es un clásico del género y una película más que recomendada para ver.

Mildred Cleghorn
Mildred Cleghorn was born in 1910 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. In 1976, Cleghorn became chairperson of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe, serving until 1995. A schoolteacher for many years, she became known for creating dolls to reflect the attire of the Indian tribes she encountered during her teaching career. 41 of these dolls were exhibited at the Smithsonian Institute. Cleghorn served on the Oklahoma Indian Affairs Commission, and as an officer in the North American Indian Women's Association. In 1989, she won the Indian of the Year Award.
Mildred Cleghorn died in 1997 at the age of 86.
