Found Finale and Review

(Couldn’t find a gif of the specific episode, so I found one to represent how I feel watching it. )

I finished Found! I just love the actress playing young Gabi! She is such a scene stealer! She kills it every single time! Don’t get me wrong, everyone does a good job on the show, but young Gabi has a special place in my heart.

I love the fucked up thing between Gabi and Sir, but I am so down bad for the “yes ma’m” thing between her and Trent. He adores her. He worships her. He can not live without her. He just won’t kidnap her and be fucked up about it like Sir.

Trent would do anything for her. He wants to protect her, but if she wants him out of her way he will move. He might fight her on it but he will move.

This last episode? So dynamic. Dhan and the conversation between him and his husband. The emotions between everybody, just reeling and spiraling! Especially Gabi! The erratic pacing.

Ethan showing up to Dhan’s job to confront Gabi??!?!? I know it’s serious and everything. But the petty drama of it all is sending me on a thrill ride of emotion and glee! I am ecstatic! (Sorry not sorry🙏🏾)

The abuse?? Wym it was the momma? The dad saying “hell won’t be a safe enough place for you?”Insane work.

I’ve never noticed “bad writing” in this show for real, but there’s a lot of questions this episode brings up for me. If a Grandma was a real one, I don’t believe they would ever put their grandbaby in some captive room. I think they’d handle it so differently, and I think a father would notice if a wife was hurting a child. However, it usually plays out in an ignorance is bliss kind of way. Because no one would believe their partner would be so lowdown to a child they brought into the world together. The logistics of that not being noticed is just hard to believe.

It’s all confusing to me, but the drama of it all was still entertaining.

Sir in that closest leads me to believe we don’t know what he is fully capable of. Everyone is growing and changing for the better over the years, so he has to be growing and changing into something worse. Like he might have new unlocked levels of creepiness and insanity we aren’t aware of yet.

I am so excited for season 2!

my favourite LOTR thought at the moment is how absolutely confused Samwise Gamgee must have been when he truly met Peregrin Took for the first time. Of course he'd seen Pippin before, but he'd never actually interacted with him because Sam is just a humble gardener, while Pippin is the heir to the richest and most influential family in the whole Shire.

Poor Sam was most probably expecting a well-mannered young hobbit with very nice clothing (and perhaps a snobbish attitude), someone like Mr Frodo, or perhaps even quiet, calm Meriadoc Brandybuck. While both have a mischievous streak, they're still well-to-do and obviously so in how they act and dress and interact with one another.

There is absolutely no way he was expecting an absolutely feral hobbit-child with far too much energy and a mouth that prattles on a-mile-a-minute about absolutely everything his mind comes across. Or Pippin's favourite hobby of singing loudly in every possible scenario, or vanishing off to climb a tree or catch a fish in a nearby brook. Bare-handed.

This concept is absolutely hilarious to me and I honestly need more Sam and Pippin interactions, especially at the start of the journey when they're walking to Buckland.
