dad! tomas who frequently forgets to leash up his toddler daughter before taking her out and just kind of holds her up a little above the ground like this so that she has absolutely zero chance of running off at the sight of an animal or something shiny in the distance…

do not worry! this does not hurt his little girl nor is it uncomfortable for her! in fact, she actually kind of loves it and finds it really fun, more often than not she is constantly giggling and babbling unintelligible toddler nonsense up to him whilst he looks down at her with a raised eyebrow and a small smile on his face

your daughter really likes it and it stops tomas from panicking if she runs off somewhere within a split second and it makes you chuckle to see this, your big tall black metal man casually holding a, your smiling little girl dressed in all light pink with glittering plastic butterfly hair clips attached to her short pigtails whilst talking to his other black metal friends! it also means your daughter is at much less risk of tripping in her step and hurting herself so really what is there not to love about it?

however your two future children with him do not like this hold at all and will always have the grumpiest look on their face when he holds them like this! though he never feels all that bad, tomas knows damn well that they would run off towards something at any chance they got because they have done it before so he has no problem looking down at them with a look that says nothing more than “ sorry but you did this to yourself ” whilst you laugh quietly at their tiny frown and their little furrowed eyebrows as they huff…
