Christmas Presents - Friends edition

Jasmine is a self-proclaimed bad gift giver, but it's because she never knows what things to get people. “No. I know what I said. There is a video going around of Tom playing basketball which just proves he is good at everything.” She commented. Man was just annoyingly blessed. She knew most would try to correct her or think she didn’t know a thing either sport. “I rarely keep up with the NBA actually more so the WBNA.” She had zero interest in keeping up with sports involving men for fun. “Bet.” She entered the coins and waited for the game to start. “May the best win.”

Jayla enjoyed the occasional visit to the Fun Spot, always happy to get time in at the arcade. She was walking past the basketball hoops when the person playing at one got her attention. "I think you're more looking for Michael Jordan, LeBron, Kobe.." She couldn't help herself but to correct Jordyn. After all, if there was one single sport Jayla knew even a little about, it was basketball. She paused for a moment to assess the game, not having witnessed too much of Jo's play against her previous opponent, before agreeing. "I'm in," she nodded.

"It is a hobby if you make it one." She responded with a laugh. Pottery wasn't for everyone, she didn't consider it a hobby for herself either. "What kind of arts & crafts do you enjoy then?" She listened to Jayla continued. Naomi couldn't remember the last time she went horse back riding, it had been sometime since she visited her grandfather's ranch back home. "Perfect. We can finally come back and paint these eventually." She knew they would need time to dry.

"I am not sure that I would call pottery a hobby," she laughed softly, pausing to think over Naomi's question some. "I am a big arts and crafts person, I come up with lots of the activities for the kids at the library. Other than that, and reading, you can usually find me at the community center volunteering or riding my horse out at the ranch. Or, sometimes, I go to tumbleweed." Really, that summed up Jayla in a nutshell. She had a handful of places she frequented and that was what made her happy. Continuing to shape her bowl, she laughed as Naomi did. Jayla's bowl was smaller, not meant to hold as much, and somewhat less sturdy than Naomi's. Once she felt her creation was as she wanted, she turned back to Naomi. "I think we're ready!"

No one could’ve predicted that someone who grew up with no siblings would be such a people person. “Nice to meet you, Jayla.” Her voice was pleasant before she continued “I feel like it took me forever to master. My eyes would act like it was scared for anything to close to them.” She had gotten over her fear of learning it and just practiced. Naomi did the other side and closed the cap of the liquid liner. “All done. You look wonderful. Hopefully you’re enjoying the gala as well.”

"I'm the same. Normally," she laughed, though doing her best not to move so that she wouldn't further mess up her eye makeup as Naomi began fixing her eye liner. "Jayla," she smiled, eyes still shut as Naomi worked. Once the first eye was done, Jayla grabbed her compact mirror to get the best look that she could. "Looks good! Thank you!" she closed her eyes again, so that Naomi could fix up her other eye.

it depends. for my friends that I’m really close to, then I’d prefer to talk irl with them, but lately, I’ve been getting used to using texting (looking at my moots) so it’s kind of a tie between irl and texting

pink? like when the sun is setting and the sky is that pretty mix between orange and pink. I think my aesthetic, personally, are sunsets on lazy sundays, so somehow put that into my vibe and that’s why I think that coral pink when the sun is setting color fits my vibe lmao
