one thing that mcytblr needs to learn is the fact that small blogs and their content matter. i see many blogs especially big blogs only and only reblogging things from their mutuals who are also blogs with a decent following. this leads to the all too well known "fandom ruler culture" (in our case subblr ruler culture) this post isn't directed at anyone particular but i've seen its a big thing in especially this fandom space.

tbf i'm not saying all big blogs are like this but most of them are. here's the thing. most of the big blogs on this site are ran by americans and europeans i don't mean this in a disrespectful way i respect all of you but we need more diversity in this matter we only have a handful of poc ran blog known by the bigger part of dsmpblr. things don't feel like how they used to feel back in the old dsmpblr days when everyone posted without any guilt and inconsistent exposure. i've seen this a lot in mcytblr especially its just the same five or six posts going around the subblr and they're all made by the same circle of big blogs.

new artists spend hours on a piece and all they get is a few notes and maybe one reblog while a big blog when posts a 5 min sketch with minimal effort gets around 500-1k notes with tons of reblogs. a small blog is going to make a post and get around three notes while a bigger well known blog will make the same post with a different wording and it breaches containment.

i think its high time that its need to be said: big blogs are nothing without smaller blogs. these small blogs are the people who follow you and reblog your posts. these small blogs are the reason you have exposure on here please don't just overlook their posts. you see one you should consider reblogging it to increase the exposure of the bigger part of the fandom. follow smaller blogs reblog their content make them feel included.
