Fun side note- Wata is a gamer and loves Pokémon. The art on the pedal is from long time Boris collaborator, Mami Saito. Wata wanted her to create a distortion (Hizumi | strain) type Pokémon, and named it Hizumitas

Smallsound/ Bigsound F*ck Overdrive clone I made.

A comprehensive range of clean boost to blown out amp sounds with this circuit. The sag feature means you can starve the voltage to the distortion when you play hard enough (determined by the threshold and depth). What results is notes that fade and stutter into focus in really interactive ways. I’m excited to try it on drums.

The box I did the swirly water spray paint trick and then used my dremel to grind out the lettering.

This review of applying the Electro-Harmonix Lizard Queen guitar fuzz pedal to the bass showcases some beautiful tones, especially when he palm mutes as he plays. You need a channel splitter though to make this sing on the bass. I also love the harmonics sound when the balance and octave are both at 50%--it sounds like GIzmo singing in Gremlins!
