part one of my garbage art series!!

i have tons of weird labels, tags, stickers, and trinkets because i tend to hoard knickknacks, so im trying to get rid of them with art instead of just tossing them!

im going to give this one to my grandpa, but i might send out or sell the next few ones? if people are interested :>

Joseph Design Timeline

Commentary Below:

1) Joseph’s newest design was quite a big change in comparison to most of his other designs, so it took a little bit to get right. He looks almost identical to his father and embodies a mostly jester-like appearance with a noticeable star motif.

2) This was when I was trying to redesign Joseph and experiment around a little bit. During this time, I was imagining Jester demons to have spider-like attributes, but I didn’t exactly showcase that well in this design—ultimately leading me to removing that concept all together.

3) The third image was from when I tried giving Joseph and other jester demons centipede motifs. Though this change was mainly an excuse for me to keep Joseph’s head from looking empty while removing the bulky horns of the previous design.

4) This was Joseph’s main and longest standing design. I didn’t really know exactly what I was doing and there were definitely some weird anatomical features that could’ve been fixed. Not sure why I gave him a nose horn spoke or styles his jester hat “horns” like that. The greenish purple color palette will always hold a place in my heart though.

5) This was Joseph’s second ever design and it was lowkey me just throwing things out there and hoping it worked?? The colors were a lot brighter and less thought out, but it would eventually be revised into the more longstanding greenish purple combo.

6) This was Joseph’s first ever design. Lowkey I genuinely do NOT remember making this but I have no comments. He appears to be a Baphomet and Shark demon hybrid?? Not sure why though?? Or why the four eyes- but yk- at least his first concept was the start of younger me actually attempting to draw diverse body types (aka not twinks) 💀💀💀

Genuinely crazy how much my art and Joseph as a character has changed over a little under a year and a half of time.

The Dead Letter Office of Somewhere, Ohio: Episode 11 Tamagotchi / Dead Mall

continuing with my trend of "if I can't buy plushie replicas of my favourite podcast creatures, I'll just make them myself", I present to you... the Offal Deerhead Priest!

After I made the first one, I thought he could have been weirder looking, so the second one is made with mis-matched offcuts from my scrapbag, which I thought would give him a more ragged, gory appearance.

And then my partner looked at him, said "oh he's so small!", popped him in his pocket, named him "Littler G" (sidekick of Little G, his all-time favourite of the plushies I've made) and began teaching him about handheld video games. Which is probably the happiest ending the rotten decayed essense of abandoned consumerism could ever have, so good for him, but he was supposed to be spooky and gross!!
