Round Reusable Grilling Mats

I’ve tried all varieties of these in search of the best and this one is very good. It is round, as are various grills, and keeps the grill from getting gunky when grilling out meats, fish, poultry and even vegetables. These are reusable and I simply rinse them when they’re still warm and then spray them with degreaser to soak overnight. The grease and build up on both sides comes right off. There are 2 to a pack of these and can be cleaned in the dishwasher easily. They can even be used in a microwave though I’ve yet to try that. I enjoy having these mats as opposed to cleaning the grill each time we use it. They are such a help in cleaning but also in heat distribution over either coals or gas links. These are also a bit thicker than the others I’ve used.

“Paintball” outfits for the broke blokes

Shin guards-important in case you fall

You can buy one or use any of these materials to make some if you want

* Fiberglass - Stiff, sturdy, and light weight.

* Foam rubber - Very light weight, but not as sturdy and solid as fiberglass.

* Polyurethane - Heavy and sturdy, which offers almost complete protection from most impacts.

* Plastic - Less protective than any of the other synthetic shin guards.

* Metal - Highly protective, but very heavy and uncomfortable

Forearm guards are good too, you may land on your hands and knees.

Motorcycle equipment: jackets, gloves, pants, boots. Made for scraping and trauma. Jackets have extra padding on the spine, elbows, and shoulders. Jackets also can be fire resistant. Gloves are made of leather or Kevlar, some have carbon fiber in the knuckles.

Motorcycle pants:

“Made of modern textiles or tough leather, and reinforced with armor and strong stitching, motorcycle pants are built to keep your skin safe in an unscheduled meeting with the asphalt. And being purpose-built for riding, many also include features like weatherproof construction, venting and pockets, or reflective piping for visibility”

They can be put on directly over a pair of liner pants or over jeans. If over jeans make sure to buy a size up

If you don’t want riding pants, paint balling pants are also padded. You could even double up and wear both!

Paintball vests can be found online easily. There are some that are tripadded, and they can handle the punch of a ‘paintball’ easily.

Paintball masks are a must for paint balling. They cover your eyes and face, sometimes your entire head, keeping your eyes safe and your vision clear. Be careful though, because the airway isn’t insulated so you’ll still be able to fully ‘smell bad smells’. If you’re worried about insulation or waterproofing, a riding mask that is waterproof is the way to go.

But be wary, riding masks don’t always cover the top of your head.

Sketchers are great shoes for ‘paint balling’. They can come with memory foam on the inside, which takes strain off your feet if you’re standing for long periods of time. They’re lightweight and easy to run in if you need to outrun the opposing team.

If you prefer boots though, the best types are such

Motorcycle boots provide a lot of protection for ankles and feet, but are more often stiff and unyielding. Not made for running at all.

UnderArmor has good boots for running and standing, but they don’t protect ankles quite as much.

Sketchers sells steel toe boots if you ever need to kick any equipment away from opposing team members. They also sell steel toe shoes.

Gloves are important too. Sometimes if you use your paintball gun too much, it can get hot, so here are some glove options if you need to hold something hot.

ULINE, tacticalgear.com, and put barrel cooker have heat resistant gloves. As well as Lowe’s.

But be careful, most of the time one pair of gloves isn’t enough to stop the heat from burning you.

A layer of neoprene is used to cover the piece, which enables it to resist melting. You can use the glove to directly touch hot surfaces without worrying that it can be destroyed.

It is specially designed to function well in the temperature that reaches 1472°F. It is one of the best partners you can have when your tasks are dealing with intensely hot equipment.

If you can’t afford a full vest for protection, you can find trauma plates for the vests for a cheap price. It would be best if you combine this with a paintball vest if you’re on a tight budget.

Commonly used in items like yoga mats, sports gear and boat equipment, EVA foam is also the ultimate material for cosplayers of all levels of experience. It is recommended by professional LARPers that you use two layers of foam for shields, but if you want extra protection you can use large plastic bin lids.

Many other materials can be used for shields, such as fiber glass, the materials are up to you but you should always use more than one layer for maximum protection.
