I do love it I do love it very much and it gives me brain rot but Julian running through fire to get to Garak isnt even like a Garashir thing to me because thats just how Julian is. Julian would run through fire for just about anybody- whether he knew them or not, tbh, he would be the first one running into a burning building to save a stranger if he thought he had a chance. the nature of Julian Bashir is that he will risk life and limb to help people because he is, at the very core of his being, a doctor and a healer

thinking about it now and oh how wrong I was about season 3… Kai wouldn’t attack Jay unless he absolutely had to . Kai wouldn’t get angry at Jay for not remembering …

Kai puts up with Jay way too much in previous seasons. Ihhh i should have known . One of the only times i can even remember Kai physically lashing out at Jay is in Crystallized when they were both literally grieving . And before that he was trying to be gentle with Jay , because he knew Jay was hurting, he even apologized so softly when he knocked over his water … Kai only attacked him when JAY attacked first

Goddd… exploiting his weakness. It was about video games. It was about Kai’s unwavering adoration and understanding of Jay. Of course it would be. Of course Kai would do something stupid and outlandish like that just because he wants Jay back

I fear that vanity may have come into play here.

By the time the Autobots and Decepticons crash landed on Nebulos with the Plasma Energy Key in their possession, the Hive had become dependent on machines to do much of their work. Their mechanopathic abilities allowed them to control viewscreens, robotic limbs, or anything else they wanted—but the sedentary lifestyles facilitated by these luxuries led them to suffer muscular atrophy in their bodies. The Hive's solution to this was… more machinery! Through a series of cybernetic upgrades, they regained some of their strength, of a sort that would not wane with langour. For many of them, very little of their original flesh remained.

Still, amongst the Hive, there were some—such as Zarak and Grax—who obsessed over their bodies’ appearance, not just its function. They were living works of art, sculpted to peak physical fitness and vitality… but in truth, their muscles were mere armor plating. The added weight of all these prosthetics meant that, for all their enhanced strength, many of the Hive would struggle to get out of their chairs.

I imagined him to be taller to fit that divine look you know? But you never explicitly mentioned his exact height so i came here instead..

hi Lizzy :D I see him as slighter taller than canon Dream, and he wears heels (bringing him to Cross' height, which in On Mercy is around 160 cm :])

Theed Spaceport

I probably missed a few ships at the spaceport, but rest assured they’re unidentified vessels. Kinto points out that some of the objects in the spaceport just cargo containers, and also corrected me on the name of the Action VI bulk freighter. Thanks Kinto!

Thanks to Spookywilloww on Wookieepedia for clueing me into the Spaceports spread in the Complete Locations book for further identification of objects in this scene. Previously I was only using the diagram of the spaceport from the DeAgostini Star Wars Encyclopedia #60: Naboo.

I also removed the identifications of the DSS-02 shield generators (the model seen in The Empire Strikes Back) as they're never actually clarified as the same, only labeled as "auxiliary power generators" in Complete Locations.

They're possibly similar generators also produced by Kuat Drive Yards.

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

3. Well, she was the first planet, or I guess I should say celestial body, OC that I ever made; to the point where I don't even have the original drawing on my tablet(still thankfully have it though) :( But I actually have a direct quote from myself about her, from when I first drew her! "Human representation of the Moon, maybe?" For me now, it's crazy to think that at some point, she wasn't the god of the Moon, and that none of my world-building existed back then, not even her name! So definitely her appearance! Even if I've changed up her outfit a lot, it's nice to me that a lot of essential traits have survived since her very first portrait(her colors, her white freckles, etc.)

4. I'm always constantly fiddling with world-building, so probably her role in the story. It's embarrassing to admit but, when I was younger, I feel like my main concern with ocs was like. Self insert. LOL. So it's difficult to move on from that in certain ways, like how do I not make her story revolve around my own personal desires, I GUESS. It's also difficult because she exists in a world where there's theoretically a bunch of other moons, so, how do I uphold her importance/significance, right? The way I see it though is both that her importance is the kind of mystical lore thing, but also that the planet god she would be beholden to, doesn't want her involved, so she instead has been given other duties! But yeah, justifying her importance and power is probably the toughest thing, as what I created her as comes into conflict with what my AU has evolved into overtime.

3. Omg its so funny to me now, but when I first drew Luna, I wrote, "If I make a human sun, they'll date." Which NEVER happened, because ever since I first drew Sola, they were destined to be, at best, frenemies. So I would say her design, but honestly her role as the Sun to Luna's Moon was the jumping off point. 4. Same problem as with Luna, though as she's the Sun, it's a lot easier to justify the importance she holds. I'm glad you pointed out the whole emissary of life/death thing, because that's something I've only been pondering recently. I'm always trying to balance between having omniscient, all-knowing, can-do-anything gods, while still giving them struggles and issues to deal with, so I think that balance is always what I struggle with most. Her and Luna deal with interplanetary conflicts, regardless of if its inter-god strife or has to do with humans. So I like the balance between her being aware of and being "there" for the birth of every single human, but not exactly keeping track of them(thus having the angst of her having a terrible moment of realization every time she comes in contact with a human who's done a terrible enough thing to warrant her involvement.)

Cybele doesn't actually play that big of a role in bw mostly cuz she was off doing her own thing but she sometimes larps with her husband.

A bit of a lore dump below:

Cybele loves Ghetsis in an "I admire him no matter his actions" way, but like to the max. She doesn't gaf if Ghetsis is a cult leader, she's his #1 dick rider and she didn't even have to be manipulated, she's just like that and Ghetsis likes having his boots licked. They're evil and married and are scheming together on how to take over Unova

when it comes to her relationship with N (and with the other Harmonia siblings), she just doesn't care for the guy at all, she's not actively abusive or manipulative towards him, but it's not as if she's stopping Ghetsis

I honestly find the trope of "poor, caring mother forced to marry her abusive husband" a bit overused (not bad, just common) so having a mom who just doesn't care about her kids is something I want to write her with
