I keep seeing these little robots being advertised and just thinking about Eddie buying one for when he's on tour. Just chilling on the tour bus during travel time, using his little bot to follow Steve around the house, chatting while Steve does chores.

He doesn't know that Steve taped a picture of Eddie on a stick to it, partially so he feels more like he's talking to Eddie, but also because it dissuades the dog from trying to play with it.

Sometimes when Robin comes over she'll put a shoebox over it claiming that she and Steve need some alone time, and Eddie will make sad noises until Steve rescues him. One time Steve comes home to find that she made an entire cardboard labyrinth that Eddie is currently trying to solve, though not very successfully.
