Ren/Ariana (I always liked Ren with her specifically.)

12. Any headcanons?

Amber teaches MC how to play musical instruments, assuming MC doesn't know how to play any. There are a couple pause times in the main story where this can happen.

At the end of the 'Hero of Slime' quest, MC and Goomink re-enact the "I tip my hat to you, one legend to another" meme from Rango (2011).

20. What got me into Rejuv?

I always knew that Rejuv existed, around the same time as I first heard about Reborn years before I played that. After I beat Reborn, months later I checked the Rejuv general chat in Reborn Evolved out of curiosity, spoiled myself on some things out of morbid curiosity due to not knowing why the game was not running on my Mac (turns out i just had to enable Rosetta), but after that, I got into the game, shared my reactions with the friends that roped me into it, and the rest is history. This was back in January of 2023.

11. Do you have ocs? If so, feel free to ramble about them!

I have a few, my most known one being Mavis. If I were to ramble about any of them I'd be going all day so to save everyone's sanity I'll just give 1 non important fact for all of them.

Mavis - Terrible at math.

Dearil - Likes to sing (specifically his paragon/ complete counter part)

Felix: Great on rollerskates, can do so many cool tricks and dances.

Maxwell - Scared of the dark

Cameron - Afraid of heights.

17. Favorite aevian form?

Froslass!!! Water spout go brrrrr. It was Mismagius pre-v13.5 though.

For biased reasons the reborn one. I adore the Goomink quest! It's so silly and cute! I love going to the kingdom just to vibe. I hope we get more of Goomink someday. 🥺

if i had to give a biased answer i'd say talon, but we all know the only objectively correct answer to as of who should be turned into a marketable plushie is goomink

What pokemon would you *most* like to get a rift form?

There are a quite a few for me.

I think a few more human rifts would be interesting, especially if the mind-scape exploration happens for all of them.

Within the lore of the game, I think the Theolia siblings are the most likely to get Rift-ed, considering the only other human Rift we've seen is the Nymeria-blessed Aelita. Rift Nim is also pretty likely, considering the opening fight of Chapter 15 and how we would get a view into her mind.

(Honestly, the designs could be kickass. Rift Mega Absol Erin as a one-winged avenger to match Melia's angelic design. Rift Togekiss Melia as a biblical angel with such blinding light that it causes flinching. Rift Mega Sableye Alice as a living shadow, playing puppetmaster like she did in the Unown Dimension. Rift A-NInetales Allen as a walking storm, or even Rift Mega Mawile if we're planning on matching him with Alice. Rift Darmanitan Nim straight up ripping people's souls out a la Insurgence's Delta Darmanitan, or Rift Fused Solrock Nim simply tearing apart the world with her gravitational field)

I'd also like to see Rift Registeel and Rift Regice as designs, but I feel like Saki's arc ended really nicely and I'm not sure how Kreiss is going to turn out. Maybe as post-game?

Player Rifts would also be a fun idea, but hard to execute. Maybe it's one of those fights you have to lose, like on Eclysia? But your Rift Form only has attacking moves or something. Also, what mon would the MC's rift be? Maybe the mythical used in the Intense Nightmare mirror fights?

Also would have liked to see Rift Reuniclus Zetta, but I guess the ship has sailed on that. Still, going to keep that concept in mind for later ;)

As for non-human Rifts, most of the recent ones have been plot-relevant mons, such as Gloria the Hippopotas, Melia's Garbodor, and Angie's Carnivine. The sidequest ones have also been plot-relevant, being Flora's Ferrothorn and Narcissa's first Chandelure. A few others are of interest:

- Nastasia's Deoxys, might push her away from Team Xen if they forcefully rift-ify it.

- Kieran's Xurkitree or Clear's Naganadel. Since we're going to see Rift Stakataka, it could be interesting to see what other Rift UBs are like before we get absolutely crushed by the Xenpurgis.

- Tesla's Talonflame, as it's the first pokemon we actually met, and I'd like to see more of best mom Tesla.

- Celebi, just to see what Zumi would make. Honestly, I feel like we need less overtly monstrous Rifts and more creepy and ethereal ones.

- Goomink (to incorporate him into the plot). If you've done the sidequest, he shrugs it off after a few turns. If not, you have to fight (and destroy) a sword-wielding Rift Goodra.

- Kawopudunga, because oh lord that would be difficult as all hell.

- On the topic of difficult as all hell, Delpha as a Rift would be terrifying. She has a higher BST than Dark Gardevoir, so you know that Rift would shred through everything.

beau: shiny hisui samurott. the leader of the pack. though it wouldn't be apparent at first glance. very affectionate and somewhat silly, and mona's first pokemon. however, they are also very rigorous, and has a protective streak over the rest of the team. in short, they have a super soft spot for goomink. mona watched him take a shine to the lil guy and proceeded to let themselves get dragged with the mission.

Pivot: shiny talonflame first joined after seeing mona wander the streets and trip into a fletchling flock. found herself so concerned she felt the need to watch over them, before joining the team. more on the quiet side, yet slightly judgemental. they like to stay in the skies rather than their pokeball, so they get cranky if they get cooped up.

Charmy: alolan raichu who loves causing mischief, and getting away with it. Knows that they are very cute, and is very demanding for treats or any goodies mona could get when possible. luckily for them, mona is quite rich to buy them bean buns and pancakes when they want it.

Amaranth: mawile gifted by Nancy. Rather isolated but proud of his power. Loves a good battle when engaged in one, and is rather attached to Mona than his other teammates. Mega evolution was acquired quite easily between him and Mona, mona could not be prouder of him. Notably, he's very stubborn not to back down from a fight, which sort of puts Mona in trouble in certain situations.

Chestnut: Torterra. Big lad who is very sleepy but very tanky. More lax about the events around him, which is a surprise considering how much Mona has been through. probably the one calm one in the midst of all the energy in mona's main team. Really good at stalling out an opponent when needed. Mona prunes his tree into funny shapes sometimes.

Xenon: hisuian zoroark from previous timeline. absolutely distressed at showing up at the new timeline and seeing everything they know suddenly the same and different at the same time. she had different teammates then. she misses them so much. but they don't exist now. they will never exist again. as much as they are upset at mona they are also extremely loyal to them. very quiet and isolated from the rest of the team, but beau has been slowly but surely cracking her open because of their battle synergy. mona doesn't know about her internal conflict, but they note how demanding xenon is of mona to pay attention to them.

Noteable team members not part of main but contributed heavily enough:

Tempo: aevian leavanny. Amaranth's sparring partner. a very casual fighter who stuck with mona a good way of the journey before being swapped. they don't mind as much, because mona lets them out often to hang out with the team.

Issac: Shiny silvally who bonded with mona via wrestling. Respects mona a ton but also extremely playful because of it. there is a nonzero chance mona gets randomly bodied by a silvally wanting to play. has a strange kinship with Zepto, so ren and mona arrange playdates for them to interact.

Vanilla: Donphan. the one who defeated Madame X. Permanently scarred from his battle with Yvetal, but is extremely proud of his contribution. However, they worry about showing off because mona seems to look so guilty at him whenever they show up. they suspect its the reason why mona hasn't rlly put him on their team often since.

Aloe: Venasaur. often a boss killer. They know their role and their job. gets along with Chestnut as their opposite partner. surprisingly fast, and very friendly with the team, even with the broody ones.

Cheese and Tostada: Eevee brothers from the lost camp. Cheese is a glaceon now, and they stick together like glue. Mona believes that tostada is hesitant about battling, so they let them be on the sidelines. Cheese is more droopy and tostada is more lively. Lily (nancy's sylveon) often babysits them.

"Goomink even has sword and shield to prove it!"

"So, there you have it. My lil buddy, Goomink. Alright, Luna. Lets get back to the kingdom. Goomelda'll have both our asses if we keep her Hero away for too long."

"....So this is what happens when we leave you to your own devices... Alright then.~"

Everyday I get more and more excited to play the new rejuv update to the point it's the only thing on my mind sometimes! Thank you so much for making such a wonderful game jan it has really become one of my favorite games of all time 😊 Also goomink best boi! I hope we get to see more of him
