i have no idea why goosemav isn't more popular. I think because he is married people don't try and since he died they can't imagine cute scenarios for them to be in, so they don't even try.

Which sucks because if you watch TGM it's pretty clear Mav loved Goose a lot.

I think from now on, the Roosmav random is going to be an endeavor of creating the things that genuinely personally set me on fire and hoping that, someday, the sincerity of my intent and the passion of my vision will show through and help me find lasting friendships with people who have this common interest and experience.

That was the hardest part for me...I didn't lose the ability to read Roosmav fanfiction. I lost the ability to be able to talk to Roosmav's writers...my heroes. And in retrospect, it really really was a privilege that I took for granted for those first six months (I usually have been purely consumptive in fandom). I have not taken a single thing for granted since then - not a single interaction, not a single potential new friend.

I don't care to affect how anyone else writes their writing. I believe everyone does best being themselves...if I have an idea that I think someone else would do a great job executing based on their previous works, I will throw it out there. I have this long-held GoosMavRoos idea that I think one of the new writers (anyone who joined Roosmav in 2023 is a "new writer" to me, since any normal experience for me essentially ended in 2022) would do a wonderful job writing because they love and understand GoosMav in a way that I never will, and one day I hope I can deliver that idea to them. And while I have a deep personal love for Bradley, which is going to reflect in everything I write/draw in the future, I do want to be around Roosmav people who love Maverick, because it was those people who inadvertently wrote versions of Bradley that I really loved and imprinted upon (I want to explain this one day, but I have a very reactive way of interpreting ships because of my previous experience in danmei).

And I want writers to talk to me about their writing. PLEASE - that's what I want most now. If you write underage bottom!Bradley amputeeism, I would love to know what internal processes of yours brought you to that idea! I think writing is a reflection of people, and I want to know people foremost.
