*Not my gif*
Pairing: Greg Gerwitz (Mouse) x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: Mouse meets his baby for the first time
Warnings: None
A/N: Fun fact, I’ve been obsessed with the name Halston for years before I even knew any Halsteads existed. Also, protective Jay in this gif does things to me.
Having your first baby was hard. It was nothing like you imagined as a kid. You had married Mouse right before he decided to re-enlist. You hadn’t planned for a baby, but you had both gotten pretty drunk at his going away party and you would admit you weren’t always careful with protection. So, you weren’t that shocked to see the plus sign appear on the test. However, that did not calm your nerves in the least bit. You knew you were going to have to do this alone, and it was not going to be as you always hoped. Instead of doing a cute announcement for your husband you had to tell him over a computer with spotty internet not even able to take in his reaction as the picture lagged every two seconds. Mouse’s best friend, Jay or your best friend, Kim having to accompany you to doctor’s appointments instead of your own husband. Relying on Jay to help you put the nursery together, or more realistically supervisioring Jay as he put the nursery together. Having to decide on a name through multiple letters instead of on the couch with a baby name book. Enduring the few fights you’d be sure to have over a couple. If you had a late night craving? You had to fix it yourself. Kim volunteered to stay with you a week before your due date, not wanting you to go into labor alone. The happiest moment of your life was also accompanied by an overwhelming sense of sadness and loneliness.
If you thought the pregnancy was difficult being essentially a “single” parent was even harder. You swore your daughter cried more than she didn’t. You had plenty of people offering to help, but you were exhausted. Having to go back to work was a whole other obstacle. Struggling significantly with finding a good enough daycare you felt you could trust without Mouse’s input. You showed Halston his picture everyday. A little nervous of their first meeting. Knowing Greg would be freaking out a little despite his calm composure he would be sure to show on the outside. What if she somehow triggered him? What if her crying was too loud? Too much? These thoughts only heightened your anxiety.
And when the day finally arrived the swirl of emotions running through you was unbearable. You had gotten notice that Greg would be going on leave not too long before and you were just happy that he would be home before her first year of life had passed. Jay stood at your side, 7 month Halston resting in his arms, who was contently observing everyone hurriedly moving around her. You bounced on your heels, hands clasped together ready to attack your husband as soon as your eyes met his face. Jay’s hand landed on your shoulder squeezing it tightly.
“It’s going to be fine. Calm down.”
“I’m worried.” You admitted looking up at him and over to your daughter whose hands were tightly tangled in the front of Jay’s shirt undoubtedly stretching it out.
“I know, but I promise. It’s all going to be okay.” He pulled you into a side hug hand resting on your back as he let you work through your own thoughts for the next few minutes.
Mind going blank as soon as you witnessed Mouse walking towards you. Reaching him in a few strides he caught you in a hug, bag dropping to the floor beside him. You were silent for a few seconds just enjoying each other’s embrace before Mouse kissed your head, setting you back on your feet.
“I missed you so much.” He sighed, cradling your face in his hands as he leaned down to give you a hard kiss. Pulling away his gaze drifted over your shoulder swallowing hard before looking back down at you,
“Is that her?” He asked causing you to roll your eyes,
“No, Jay’s just holding some random baby. Yes, that’s her!” You exclaimed grinning as you pulled his hand towards the two. Mouse took slow steps appearing a few inches away while a look of awe took over his face.
“Can I hold her?” He asked, looking at Jay nerves getting the best of him, making his voice shake.
“Did you really just ask me if you can hold your own kid?” Jay teased with a smirk on his face.
“I really did not miss you two.” He sighed a small smile on his lips.
“Not what you just said.” You shrugged watching as Mouse carefully took Halston from Jay’s arms treating her like a china doll as he brought her closer to his body. He looked down at Halston while she looked up at him with big eyes, bottom lip quivering a few seconds later. When he realized this Mouse began to panic,
“Hey, baby girl it’s me, daddy.” He explained moving to rock her on his hip. She moved to reach for Jay forcing Jay to step behind you pretending like she wasn’t reaching for her dad’s best friend instead of her own father. The tears that had welled up in Halston’s eyes began to fall accompanied by a loud cry. Mouse’s expressions soon turned to sadness, “it’s okay sweetheart I got you. I promise I’m not going to hurt you. I love you so much.” Mouse choked out visible tears starting to appear at the corner of his eyes that he attempted to blink away as the crying got more insistent. “Okay okay, let's go back to Uncle Jay it’s alright.” He gave in holding her out to him.
“Greg I don’t-“ He started before Mouse interrupted him.
“Please.” He whispered as Jay nodded, taking his goddaughter back into his arms, which almost immediately calmed her as she stuck her face by his neck. At the realization you could see your husband’s sadness and guilt take over his whole body, practically breaking your heart into pieces.
“Greg-“ You reached for him but he took a step back.
“I’m going to go get my other bag, I’ll meet you in the car.” He faked a small smile stepping forward and pressing a kiss to your forehead before turning around and walking away from you, shoulders significantly more slumped.
————
“Thank you for coming along.” You thanked Jay as you took Halston out of her car seat. Mouse had barely said a word the whole way home. Which only concerned you more.
“Anytime. I’m glad you’re home safe brother.” Jay clapped Mouse on the shoulder.
“Yeah thanks man. I’ll call you later?” Mouse pulled Jay into a tight hug before getting out to grab his bags and follow behind you into your house. Jay yelling a goodbye to the three of you before pulling out. The air around you was tense. This is not how you wanted this to go.
“Well it’s time for baby girl’s nap or she’s going to get real cranky soon.” You informed him.
“Take after her mom?” He joked, but you could tell his heart wasn’t in it.
“I’m going to make her a bottle. Could you take her up?” You urged moving to hand her to him cautiously.
“Actually I think I should unpack some of this stuff if I don’t start now you know how I put it off.” He shrugged, moving to pick a bag up.
“Greg.” You scolded, making him stop his action and look up at you. “Take her.” You ordered.
“I-I don’t think that’s a good idea.” He sighed standing up straight again.
“What do you mean it’s not a good idea? She's your daughter in case you forgot.” You huffed.
“I didn’t but it sure seems like she has.” He replied.
“Baby, I get that this has to be hard for you, but you can’t just avoid it. I’ve done this for 7 months alone, and I would really appreciate the help.” You explained hoisting Halston back up on your hip where her head fell on your shoulder eyes getting heavier.
“She doesn’t like me.” He chewed his bottom lip nervously.
“She doesn’t know you, honey. She hated Jay at first too, but I mean to be fair can you blame her? Don’t we all?” You joked earning a small chuckle from him. Shaking his head he held his arms out to take her from you. After being placed securely in his arms Halston started to whimper. Taking a deep breath Mouse began to soothe her, “I’ll meet you up there.” You smiled before heading to the kitchen to get her drink. You knew he could calm her; he just had to be given the chance. You could hear Mouse’s footsteps against the staircase as you busied yourself with making a bottle taking a few extra minutes thank you normally would. You hadn’t heard any loud wails from Halston or your husband so you atleast took that as a good sign. Walking up the staircase in sight of the nursery you stood outside to see Mouse rocking in the chair, Halston rested against his chest as she fumbled with the dog tags hanging from his neck. Standing back out of view you leaned against the wall to hear your husband’s voice,
“I’m sorry I haven’t been here. That I wasn’t here to see you come into the world, but I hope you know how much I love you. More than I could ever put into words. I can only hope I’ll be here to watch you grow up. To see you become a smart, brave, beautiful little girl that is sure to take after her mom. She’s incredible isn’t she? Together we are going to give you everything we have, Halston. I promise.” He kissed her head lightly watching her eyes grow heavier fingers tightly wrapped around the tags, “also while I’m at it I’d just like to point out I’m cooler than your Uncle Jay. You may not know it right now, but I definitely am.” He teased making you laugh as you entered the room.
“He is pretty cool.” You smiled walking towards them.
“She stopped crying.” He whispered to you a smile on his face.
“You know she looks so much like you.” You said hand resting on the back of his neck, “I think that’s what helped me most through the last 7 months. Being able to look at her and see you.”
“I don’t know. She has your eyes and that cute little nose of hers is all you.” He smirked.
“Is it finally hitting you that you’re a dad?” You asked looking down at your daughter who was taking deep breaths now, eyes closed.
“Yeah, and it’s kinda the best feeling in the world.” He answered.
It might take Halston a little to warm up to him, but you had no doubt when she did she wouldn’t want to leave his side.

Breaking the News
Tumblr media
*Not my gif*
(But like DAMNNN am I right?)
Pairing: Greg Gerwitz x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: What happens when you have to tell Jay and Will the news
Warnings: None
A/N: I guess Little Sister could be considered Part 1 of this it you really wanted it to be… found here
“Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Kim, what am I going to do?” You panicked pacing around the room.
“Well first you’re going to calm the hell down.” She joked grabbing you to stand to you still. “Why are you freaking out? Mouse is going to be thrilled. He loves you.” She tried to ease your mind.
“Jay and Will are gonna kill him. They’re literally going to murder him. My boyfriend’s body is going to go missing.” You thought out loud. Even though your brother’s loved Mouse it took some convincing to begin with on Mouse’s part for them to even let him ask you out. They constantly were reminding him that they could squash him if need be on top of that. You weren’t so much worried about being pregnant, I mean yeah you were nervous, but you loved Greg and in the two years you had been together you had no other vision for you life than to spend the rest of it with him. Even before you were with him to be honest.
“Really [Y/N]? Jay isn’t going to kill his best friend. He spent too much time trying to keep him alive.” Kim reasoned making you take a deep breath.
“I guess that’s a fair point.” You agreed. “You really think Greg is going to be happy?” You asked.
“I have no doubt. Now let’s find a way to tell him.” She smiled, waving her phone in the air.
————
You had it all set up and only hoped Mouse would agree to your offer of a beer. After walking in the door Mouse greeted you with a kiss on the forehead before heading for the living room. You stood in front of the stove for a few minutes before taking a few deep breaths to calm your nerves before finally asking, “You want a beer babe? Dinner is almost ready.” Heart hammering against your chest as you focused on your breathing.
“That’d be great baby.” He answered. Shakily you grabbed the glass bottle from the fridge walking into the living room to hand it to him. Where he sat petting your dog, Milo. He smiled taking it from you and taking a drink before realizing the label. “What kind-” He started before reading what was printed on it,
“Your pullout game is weak…guess I can’t join you for a drink until next year <3.” The label read. His face scrunched up in confusion as you pulled the small box out holding it out to him. He opened it, eyes widening as he looked down at the two positive pregnancy tests. His eyes shifted between the beer, box, and you before a wide grin covered his face. Jumping up and pulling you into a hug, swinging you around.
“Are you serious? Is this for real?” He asked head shoved into your neck hugging you tightly to his body. Laughing you nodded your head grabbing his head into your hands kissing him hard, but as he pulled away his face was covered with fear.
“What? What’s wrong?” You searched his eyes.
“They’re gonna kill me. I’m a dead man.” He explained.
“We’re not worrying about that right now. This is about us. We can’t tell them for weeks, and on top of that they can’t kill my baby daddy.” You shrugged making him chuckle.
“That’s a new pet name. I think I like it though.” He smiled pulling you back in for a kiss.
————-
You had just surpassed the 12 week mark and felt it was time to start telling people. Your brother’s being on the top of your list. They were coming over for your monthly dinner date. You had just put the chicken in the oven and walked into the living room to find Mouse chasing Milo around the room.
“Milo, would you stop!” He sighed crossing his arms. Milo came over sitting down beside your feet, panting heavily, for you to pet him. “Really? I’ve been chasing him for 10 minutes.” Mouse rolled his eyes tossing you the bandana to tie around his neck that read, “Baby Gerwitz Guard Dog. Duty starting May 2020.
“Good boy.” You smiled patting him on the head before he took off for his water bowl. “Wanna take bets on how long it takes them to notice?” You asked falling down into the couch.
“Hopefully never.” He mumbled sitting down beside you knee bouncing up and down nervously.
“It’s either we tell them tonight or risk them noticing my ridiculously fast growing stomach and them being real pissed that we didn’t tell them. Your choice.” You shrugged. Sighing heavily he groaned throwing his head back.
“Fine. Whatever. Good point.” He huffed beside you.
“It’ll be fine.” You shook your head kissing him on the cheek before you heard a knock on the door followed by it opening, Mouse’s movements stiffening as he heard the sound.
“We’re here!” Your brothers announced in unison walking in from the hallway. You got up hugging them as Mouse greeted them as well, before you all sat down around the living room. You heard Milo’s paws bouncing happily across the living room floor hearing the commotion. You noticed Mouse must’ve heard it as well as he wiped his hands on his jeans. Grabbing ahold of his hand you moved over to cuddle into his side.
“Dinner will be ready soon. I just put it in the oven a little bit ago.” You informed them as they nodded moving into conversation.
“Will, tell [Y/N] about the-” Jay started groaning abruptly whenever Milo landed on his stomach jumping onto the chair with him, tailing wagging rapidly. “Geez hi boy.” He laughed petting him and moving to fix his bandana that had come a little loose. After tightening it he looked to inspect it, reading it then. Mouse’s grip tightened on you as you felt his heart start to beat a little faster against your ear. You watched Jay’s face contort into shock all of you watching him.
“What? What’s wrong?” Will asked looking from Jay to you and Mouse. You shrugged smile on your face. Will moved to stand, Milo moving to greet him now and as soon as his eyes caught it his face mirrored Jay’s.
“Wait...are you…” Jay shook his head trying to get his words to catch up to his brain.
“Pregnant..?” Will finished the sentence finally snapping out of it as well.
“I am.” You answered moving away from Mouse to sit up straighter. Jay and Will looked at each other words caught in their throats. Before smiles filled their faces. Will picking you up first hugging you tight.
“Congratulations! I’m going to be an uncle!” Will exclaimed happily.
“Yeah, but it’s going to like me better.” Jay joked pulling you into a hug next. “Mouse? You good there bud?” Jay looked over your shoulder at Mouse who seemed frozen still on the couch.
“What? Oh yeah, sorry!” He got snapped out of it joining you guys hugging your brother’s.
“He thought you were going to kill him.” You explained making them both laugh.
“Hey! You thought they would too!” He glared.
“I’m not going to kill you, Mouse. It takes too much time to break in a new best friend.” Jay joked clapping him on the back. (Bonus points to whoever knows what show this is from!)
“However! If need be we still can.” Will added beside you making Jay agree, nodding as Mouse rolled his eyes. “On another note, you know what a great name is? William. I think it’s a very-” Will started before you cut him off.
“Shut up.” You laughed pushing him in the shoulder before you heard the timer going off in the kitchen slipping past them to get the food. You could hear the laughter and jokes of your boyfriend and brother’s filling the house causing a weight to be lifted off your shoulders. You knew your child was in for one with uncles and a dad like them, but you also knew no child would be loved more.

Greg Gerwitz (Mouse)- NSFW Alphabet
Tumblr media
*Not my gif*
18+
A-Z
A- Aftercare
Mouse is super super clingy after sex. Begging you to cuddle him. Kissing all over your face before he swipes you up in his arms and stuffs his face in between your neck and shoulder.
B- Body part
He feels quite solid about his dick, and he is proud of it. For you he’d probably say your breasts. Even though it’s hard to pick just one thing he loves about you. Your breasts fit perfectly in his hands and you catch him admiring them on more occasion than one.
C- Cum
He loves making you cum multiple times. Nothing makes him feel more proud and cocky. So if he’s feeling it you better expect a night full of his face stuffed in your pussy because he loves tasting you and a night full of fucking.
D- Dirty Secret
He would love you be able to make a sex tape with you. He’s worried if he brought it up you would turn him down and he’s too shy to try, but it would definitely come in handy for those times you went away to visit your family.
E- Experience
Mouse is a shy mofo. So, he did have little experience, and him going away for a few years didn’t help that. But he still knows exactly what he’s doing with what he does know and he is open to criticism.
F- Favorite Position
Missionary. He’s a simple man. Plus it doesn’t mean you can’t make up your own subcategories of missionary.
G- Goofy
Although Mouse tries to be serious sometimes you can’t help but laugh at some of his comments which usually ends up in him laughing too.
H- Hair
The carpet matches the drapes. He’s prim proper down there just like his outside appearance. Well after Jay got his ass back into shape.
I- Intimacy
He’s a sucker for romance. Loves to make every moment with you special.
J- Jack Off
Mouse likes to Jack Off. He got so used to it from being in the Rangers. It’s always to pictures of you now though so it doesn’t bother you at all.
K- Kink
Edging. He loves to edge you and likes when you edge him. Mutual Masterbation too.
L- Location
Couch. He also enjoyed it on the kitchen counter whenever you convinced him to do that.
M- Motivation
He likes your nerdy side. Likes when your glasses fall just a little too far down your noise. As you look up at him through your eyelashes before fixing them. How you would tell him stories about that book you just finished. Absolutely mesmerized by every word you were saying, not being able to look away from your lips imaging all the things they can do.
He loves hearing you say his real name. He didn’t know if it was because he was so used to hearing people call him “Mouse” now or what, but hearing you moan out “Greg” got him going in ways he can’t even describe.
He loves when you tell him you love him. For so long he thought he was unlovable. For so long he thought he would be alone. So, you make it a point to let him know even when he’s down between your thighs. Which always seemed to earn a big grin from him before he sucked and licked harder on your clit.
N- NO
No sharing. He’s too insecure for that.
O- Oral
He fucking loves your blowjobs. Loves how hard you work to earn a moan for him. Love how you look with his dick down your throat. Love how your lips just fit perfectly around him. Loves how rough your voice sounds after he fucks your mouth. Loves every part of it.
P-Pace
Mouse is more about slow and sensual sex. He loves loving you. He loves taking his time feeling every part of you with each thrust.
Q- Quickie
He would rather love you down for hours, but he’s definitely not opposed to quickies he knows you both have busy schedules and he would rather take a Quickie over nothing.
R- Risks
Mouse actually loves trying new things with you.
S- Stamina
His stamina is great! His discipline and training definitely has an effect on it. He could last for hours on end.
T: Toys
He doesn’t mind the small occasional toy. Vibrators, bullets, things like that, but you know he would feel a little insecure if you bought a dildo that was bigger than him. It doesn’t really bother you though. You are more than happy with the real thing.
U: Unfair
Mouse loves teasing you just as much as you love teasing him. It usually ends up turning into a competition.
V: Volume
Mouse makes a number of different sounds during sex and they are all heavenly. You swear it could make you cum without being touched.
W: Wild Card (How has he changed in bed?)
It’s not that Mouse isn’t good looking. Obviously he very much so is he was just never a “ladies man.” Always kind of shy and keeping to himself. He had a few sex partners, but not too many. So whenever you came along he was always super gentle with you in the beginning. Never wanting to push you too far, always asking if what he was doing was okay.
“Baby are you sure? If you want me to stop just say so.”
“Are you okay? Did I hurt you?”
You had always assured him that everything he was doing was more than okay and if it wasn’t you would let him know. However now he is more rough. Still the sweet Mouse he always was. Always assuring he never went too far, but now he has no hesitation grabbing your hair and fucking your mouth or flipping you over in a second to fuck you from behind.
X: X-Ray (What’s going on in those pants?)
Not to be blunt, but Mouse has just the right amount of dick, and he definitely knows just how to use it. He has more length to him than thickness which is totally fine with you. He’s obviously fairly short so you didn’t know what to expect, but you were pleasantly surprised.
Y: Yearning
You’d swear he’s still a teenager with how high his sex drive is. You’ve lost count how many times you’ve been pushed up against the wall upon him getting home for work, or the number of times he’s hopped in the shower with you in the mornings.
Z: Zzz
Mouse has a hard time falling asleep. His PTSD and nightmares always coming back to haunt him in the worst of times. Having you cuddled up into him though makes it all just a little bit easier.

No Sugarcoating It- Part 2 (NSFW)
Tumblr media
*Not my gif*
Pairing: Greg Gerwitz x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: Aftermath of Mouse leaving
Warnings: Swearing, Smut (18+)
A/N: Part 1 here
Two weeks had passed before you had stepped foot back in your house after that night. Emptiness filling it. Mouse had already packed his stuff storing it in a garage for the time he would be gone. He was supposed to be leaving that night, and your phone had done nothing but ring all day. Texts and calls from Jay flooding it until finally he swung the door open walking in with no warning. You looked up from where you were curled on the couch watching TV before averting your attention back to it seconds later ignoring the man hovered over you.
“Are you kidding me right now?” Jay huffed.
“What do you want, Halstead?” You spit back sitting up some.
“He’s leaving in less than an hour and here you are just laying here.” Jay gestured clearly annoyed.
“What’s your point?” You grumbled.
“You’re honestly not going to say goodbye?” He asked.
“We already said goodbye.” You stated emotions bubbling to the surface.
“A breakup is not a goodbye. At least not the one he deserves. You’ve been with him for 3 years and you think it’s fair to just-“ He lectured before you cut him off. Losing it at his choice of words.
“Don’t you DARE try and tell me what is fair and what isn’t right now, Jay Halstead. NONE of this is fair! We had a plan and he blew it up! How is that fair to me?” You yelled, jabbing a finger into his chest, voice cracking with each word making Jay’s face fall and sigh.
“[Y/N], I kn-“ He started to apologize.
“No. Just please leave.” You whispered barely enough for it to be heard. Shaking your head and walking up the stairs.
———-
Almost a year had passed since Mouse had left and you were still trying to pull yourself together. He sent you letters every month. Including pictures of him and his new team, telling you how much he missed you, informing you that he never went anywhere without your picture in his pocket and your hair tie on his wrist. You had yet to write him back, but you’d be lying if you said those letters weren’t the best part of your months regardless of the tears they usually evoked. Praying every single night that he was safe and he knew you still loved him.
It had taken you a good while to finally sleep in your old room again. Not wanting to take over the smell of Mouse still on your sheets so instead you slept in the guest room. It all seemed so silly to you. Sleepless nights, holding onto his old dog tags, wearing his shirts to bed. It was like you were acting like he was dead, but all he did was leave. You knew you were probably overreacting which only made the whole thing worse.
You had kept in touch with Jay. Usually having a weekly lunch date. At your most recent one he had informed you that Mouse was coming home on leave for a small period of time. They would be having a small get together at Molly’s that Friday night and he had begged you to come. You had declined over and over again, but as the day drew closer you couldn’t help but want to see him again. Maybe it would give you the closure to move on. Maybe you could finally get the peace you had been searching for, for the last year. Walking in that night it wasn’t hard to spot him. He looked mostly the same. Although his hair was still clean cut his face had a little more scruff than what he usually did, although you always told him you liked him with scruff, his shoulders were broader, arms bigger, and you had to fight the urge to run your fingers along them. It was him though. The same Greg you had fallen in love with four years ago. Sitting, laughing, smiling at those around him. Jay had been the only one who witnessed you walking in, locking eyes with you. Which meant he had also been the only one to see you turn around, walking straight back out. Your mind was racing, chest tightening, tears welling as you headed right for your car. It was crazy to you that the heartbreak still felt so raw. So real. You felt beyond ridiculous. How were you ever going to move past it? The thought only furthering your panic. Pulling out your phone you clicked on Jay’s name typing out a text.
“I’m sorry. I can’t.”
You took a few deep breaths wiping the tears away before starting your car and heading back home. Feeling defeated you landed right on the couch turning on the TV. You felt numb. An hour later the movie you were watching was interrupted by a knock at the door. Regardless of knowing who it was your breath halted at the sight of him standing in your doorway. You sighed heavily as he stared at you uneasily chewing at his lip, a nervous habit you had quickly picked up on. Your emotions took over as you hauled yourself into his arms. He was taken back at first, but quickly welcomed the surprise squeezing you tightly against his body shoving his face into your neck. The familiar woodsy smell he had always carried washing over you. He picked you up carrying you into the living room, you once shared, kicking the door closed behind him. Legs still wrapped around his waist you pulled back to look at him, deep blue eyes staring back at you, quickly drowning in them like you always had.
You couldn’t have cared less what your head was saying at that moment as you grasped his face in your hands, pulling him to your lips. He sighed at the feeling, one hand going to the back of your neck to pull you closer, while walking over to lay you down on the couch. Collapsing on top of you he bit your bottom lip, slipping his tongue in your mouth when you gasped taking in the taste of you again. A taste he missed so desperately, hands roaming all over your body. When you moved to pull his shirt off his body he broke the kiss for a split second before moving down to attack your neck. Your fingers traced over his chest and abdomen noticing the scars you had become so familiar with. His hands massaged your breasts as he kissed and nipped at all your favorite places on your neck, earning many whimpers and quiet moans from you. Mouse reached behind you unhooking your bra before pulling you up with him, easily slipping it off along with your shirt, his shirt. As soon as it was discarded he laid you back down mouth going straight for your breasts, tongue flicking and swirling across your erect nipples. Arching up into him you reached down to undo his jeans quickly, taking a little longer than you would've a year ago, now out of practice. You stripped them off with his help as he sucked and kissed all over your body. Reaching down to take his dick into your hand he immediately groaned at your touch, hips shooting forward involuntarily. His face was shoved into the crook of your neck as you worked your hand up and down his shaft, remembering all the things he loved with ease. His hand moved down to your core fingers swiping up your folds, causing you to wiggle underneath him, wanting more. Slowly he began to rub circles around your clit, enjoying the little sounds that were flowing out of your mouth. Feeling his finger slowly slide into you, you couldn’t help but close your eyes tight missing the feeling of his fingers working you more than you had realized. Before long two of his fingers were inserted in your pussy thrusting in and out as his thumb rubbed your clit. You were a moaning mess as your hips moved to ride his hand. Whenever you felt your core start to tighten you reached down yanking his hand away from you. You watched as he brought his fingers up to his mouth licking them clean, eyes not leaving yours for a second. Your heart was beating hard against your chest. Seeing Mouse like this again, hair slightly messy, normal deep blue eyes a stormy gray, lips slightly swollen from your own lips and teeth tugging on them, and a pink tint to his cheeks. You always thought this was when he was the most gorgeous. Vulnerable, sexy, but also completely wrecked at the same time. He moved to line himself up with your entrance looking at you as he always had, no matter what the situation, no matter how rough and full of lust you were in the moment he had always stopped to get your permission. You had shifted closer to him as a way to say go ahead. He took the hint slowly burying himself in you. Pain making you whine immediately. Even though he had worked his fingers in you it had obviously been a while since you had sex, and Mouse definitely didn’t have a small dick. He leaned down to kiss you stopping in his tracks to let you adjust before moving any further. Your fingers threaded in the hair at the nape of his neck kissing him deeply and gently tugging at it every time you wanted him to go further. Once he bottomed out he let out a loud groan against your lips he had clearly been holding in. You moved your hands to grip his biceps nails slightly digging as he moved his hands between your hips and breasts. Slowly he started to move against you picking up a rhythm while the pleasure started to take over you quickly.
“Oh god, Greg.” You moaned loudly as he moved in and out of you slowly.
“Man, I forgot how amazing you felt. So fucking amazing baby.” He growled in your ear, nibbling at your earlobe making goosebumps rise at your skin like it always did, earning a chuckle from Mouse. Loving that he could affect you like that no matter how many times he did it. As he started to move faster your moans started to get louder and more frequent.
“Wow..I missed your moans so much babygirl. It’s the best sound in the world. I missed you so much.” Mouse mumbled thrusting harder into you in order to earn more noises. Switching his position slightly he earned a yelp from you as he hit your sweet spot. Smirk appearing on his face.
“Yes baby. Right there. Oh my god. I missed you so much.” You cried as he fucked you into the couch. The words coming from your lips were beyond sinful as Mouse fucked you harder than he ever had before. Harder than you ever thought was possible. Feeling your stomach tighten you raked your nails down his back purposely leaving marks, “M-Mouse..I’m..s-so fucking close..” You barely got out before the waves of pleasure overwhelmed your body. Arching up into him, bright white dots covered your eyelids as you felt yourself shaking violently against Mouse, muscles contracting as his name along with curse words and a few I love yous flowed from your mouth. As you began to regain consciousness coming down from your high you heard Mouse’s breath go ragged head shoving into your shoulder.
“Yes! Oh fuck yes, [Y/N]! I love you so much. Holy shit.” Mouse moaned into your skin stubble tickling you while you felt his dick twitch hard before spurts of warmness filled within you. Greg’s body went stiff before relaxing and collapsing down onto you, both of you breathing hard and still slightly shaking. Once he regained some strength he leaned down to pick a shirt up to clean you up. It was then that he realized what you had been wearing.
“This is..my shirt..you were..” He stated kind of confused.
“Yeah and it’s my favorite one so if you could not use it as a cum rag I’d appreciate it.” You spat back swiping the CPD shirt out of his hand as the anger started to set in. Standing up you slid it on as well as the shorts that were on the floor heading to the bathroom to clean yourself up. When you came back out Mouse was putting on his shirt now fully dressed. Looking up whenever he heard your footsteps.
“[Y/N]..” He sighed moving to step towards you.
“No. This was a bad idea..” You shook your head stepping back.
“Stop that.” Greg begged sadly.
“Stop what?” You retorted.
“Putting up a wall, and pushing me away.” He answered.
“I’m not.” You mumbled.
“I know you better than the back of my hand, [Y/N]. I know how you work. Can we just please talk about this.” His jaw was clenched tight, shoulders tense. You look at him not moving, lump clear in your throat, tears clouding your eyes as you tried to blink them away. He took your silence as a good thing stepping towards you, but his movement quickly had you shaking your head in panic.
“No.” You stated, voice hoarse as the tears started to fall down your cheeks.
“[Y/N]...” Mouse almost whined.
“I can’t do it again. I can’t say goodbye. You can’t keep doing this to me.” You cried sobs starting to escape your lips, crumbling your body. At the sight Mouse had you tight in his arms in seconds. You melted into his body, always feeling safe and protected in his grip no matter the circumstances. Mouse’s hands were tight against your body one of them smoothing your hair. He moved you over to the couch picking you up and sitting you down in his lap letting you cry against him. All of the emotions from the last year bubbling over as you soaked his shirt, hiccuping from your quick and ragged breaths.
“My goodness babygirl. You gotta calm down. Take some deep breaths for me.” Mouse soothed you rubbing a hand up and down your back, kissing your head. Once you finally had calmed down some he took your face in his hands swiping your tears away with his thumbs even though it was likely a lost cause at that point. Bringing your forehead to his lips gently to press a kiss. “I’m not leaving.” He stated.
“What?” You leaned back confused as a small smile played on his lips.
“I’m not leaving.” He repeated.
“I don’t understand.” You admitted, sniffling a little.
“I don’t know what I was thinking. This last year has been hell, and not just because of where I was. I could handle that, but because I didn’t have you on my side. That’s what I came here to tell you but you had other plans evidently.” He joked making you glare at him, “There wasn’t a day that had passed where you weren’t on my mind. The guys in my squad probably know more about you than their own wives and girlfriends at this point with how much I talked about you.” He admitted, making you giggle lightly. “I talked to my captain. Because of what happened last time he told me he could get me honorably discharged.” He explained making you stare at him in shock. “I couldn’t stop thinking about what you told me that night. Couldn’t stop imagining what it’d be like to bring our babies home to this house or what it’d be like to be woken up by them jumping on our bed at 5am Christmas morning. There wasn’t an ounce of me that didn’t regret leaving. Every single night. I don’t know what I was thinking. Maybe that you weren’t being serious. That you would stay with me even despite what you said, but whenever you didn’t show up at the airport..” he trailed off looking at the floor before clearing his throat and shaking his head, “I just should’ve known then to turn around. You really are the love of my life and I’m so sorry for what I’ve put you through.” He sighed heavily, tears visibly clouding his eyes. You didn’t know what to say. So instead you pulled his lips to yours. Putting every bit of emotion you were feeling into the kiss. Pulling back to get a breath you laid your forehead on his.
“I love you so much. You have absolutely no idea.” You confessed, fingers ghosting over the stubble on his face. “And I missed you more than you could ever know.” You leaned down to place a gentle kiss on the top of his nose making him smile. It didn’t take long at all for your clothes to be shed on the floor again. Reveling in the feeling of being in his arms again.

No Sugarcoating It
Tumblr media
*Not my gif*
Pairing: Greg Gerwitz (Mouse) x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: “I can’t have this argument with you again.”
Warnings: None
It had been months since your boyfriend Greg had brought up the possibility of re-enlisting. It had come out of nowhere. You thought he was happy with his life, with you, with his job, but it all just came crashing down when he told you he wanted to go back in. You weren’t going to sugar coat it. You were never one to do so. So, you gave him your true opinion. Told him that you needed him. Jay needed him. The unit needed him, and if he truly felt he was doing no good staying in Chicago he was wrong. You didn’t want to make him stay if he truly didn’t want to, if he really wanted to go back you weren’t going to stop him, but that didn’t mean you were going to let him downplay what he did and how much he meant to everyone around him. He dropped it for the most part, but still occasionally slid it into conversation some nights. Which always ended the same way, in a huge fight, and you had a feeling tonight would be no different after he had brought it up once again during dinner. You had a horrible day at work so you were surprised he was testing your patience again. However, you kept your cool. Staring at him as he explained his point of view for the millionth time always hurting you in the worst ways with his words and assumptions. Saying he felt like he was doing nothing in Chicago and he meant nothing, but this time instead of fighting back you stared blankly at his face listening to him ramble. You could tell each minute of your silence made him nervous finally giving in and asking, “Babe? You going to say something?” You shrugged shaking your head no as you took another bite off your plate looking away from him. “We have to talk about this.” He urged.
“We have Greg. Many times. I can’t have this argument with you again.” You finally stated looking up at him face unwavering even though you felt yourself breaking inside.
“But-“ He began to panic as you cut him off quickly.
“No. I’m done…” You laughed coldly you set your fork down getting up to go to your room. You shut the door grabbing a duffle bag from the closet and moving to throw a few things in it knowing if you were going to keep your sanity today you just needed to get out and take some headspace. This time was different. You could feel in his voice. Just as you began to zip the bag you heard a quiet knock on the door followed by it opening. You didn’t turn around moving to unplug your phone and charger from the wall.
“[Y/N]...” He more so asked voice weak. You took a deep breath turning to face him. “What are you doing?” He asked taking a small step towards you.
“I don’t know what you want from me Greg, honestly.” You answered.
“What do you mean?” He swallowed.
“Do you want me to tell you to go? Do you just want me to lie to you and say I’m okay with it? Say that you’re right you mean nothing to this city or anyone around you cause it’s not like you’ve done any good here anyway and the only good you can do is over there.” You threw his words back in his face. “Is that really want you want? Is for me to just agree with all of that even though it’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard?” Your voice was harsh, anger seeping in.
“No. That’s not what I want.” He sighed sitting down on the bed.
“Why would you want to go back there Greg? It took you so long to recover and you’re still dealing with it. You won’t have Jay to help you this time.” You added sitting beside him. You hadn’t met Mouse until after he had gotten a job with intelligence but you had heard many stories from Jay and had stayed up many nights with him since. “Listen Mouse… I don’t want you to go. I’m not going to sugarcoat it for you. I don’t understand why you don’t want to stay here and build a life with me. I thought that was something we both wanted..” You croaked lump forming in your throat.
“Of course I want that [Y/N]!” He exclaimed reaching for your hand.
“Then why do you want to leave. Leave me. Leave us. I just don’t understand.” You looked away from him throwing your head back looking at the ceiling.
“It’s not that I want to leave you. Of course I don’t want to leave you. You’re the love of my life.” He promised. It took you a few minutes to build up the courage but finally you turned to him, taking his hands in yours.
“I love you so much Greg. There’s nothing more I want than to build a life with you. Together in this house. Full of kids that Jay is going to badly influence.” You were hoping to gain a laugh from him, but you could tell he was waiting on edge for what was next. “But.. I can’t sit here and wait for that day to possibly never come. I’ve told you before I admire military girlfriends and wives 100% because I could never do it and my stance on that is not going to change. I’m not going to sit here and fight with you about this every other week. I just need you to make a decision. If you decide to go than that’s what was meant for us and I will not hold that against you. Whenever you decide, let me know, but know I will never stop loving you regardless.” You cried as he sat silently not being able to move. You took a deep breath before kissing his cheek lightly and moving to grab your back. As you walked out to your car shutting the door behind you, your heart sank to your stomach. Something inside you told you that the next time you would be back in that house you would be packing boxes. Boxes full of your stuff in some and full of Mouse’s in the other. Not together, not intertwined like you had planned for your life, and with that feeling you let the sobs overtake you in your car. Driving away from the place, the man you were so sure you were going to spend the rest of your life with.

Where I’m Meant to Be
Tumblr media
*Not my gif*
Pairing: Mouse x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: Mouse goes back to the Rangers, and goes silent.
Warnings: None
A/N: Sorry this one took so long I restarted it a few times before I settled on a story line, hope you enjoy it!
As I was sat in the doctors office I couldn’t help the flutter that was clear in my stomach. I tried to occupy myself, nervously playing with my hands looking around at all the posters hung up around the walls. Some of them only making me more nervous. If I’m being completely honest, I didn’t know why I was here. I already knew. I knew even before I took the 3 at home tests, but I guess I just needed a formal confirmation in order to stop psyching myself out. The doctor opened the door smiling just as he went to shut it I felt my phone buzz and looked down to see “Jay Hal” pop up on my phone. Which wasn’t anything abbormal and I had just heard from Mouse a few minutes before so I quickly silenced it turning my attention back over to the doctor. “Well, Ms. [Y/L/N], it came back positive. Congratulations.” He smiled at me and then went on to explain to me everything I needed to know and what I could look forward to in the coming weeks before my next appointment. After returning to my car I opened my phone back up to see a couple messages from Jay consisting of variations of “call me when you get a chance.” I started my car up and began to head on my way home calling Jay in the meantime.
“Halstead.” Jay answered, clearly without looking at the caller ID, his voice ringing over the Bluetooth in my car.
“Yeah, what’s up.” I asked him knowing he would recognize my voice.
“When the fuck did he decide this? Are you really okay with it?” He spit out anger taking over his voice.
“Huh?” I asked confused.
“Greg.” He stated, and I knew it must’ve been bad considering Jay used his actual name.
“What’d he do?” I asked still confused.
“He just told me so you don’t have to avoid the subject with me anymore.” Jay huffed.
“Honestly Jay I have no idea what you’re talking about.” I answered camly.
“Oh okay, I gotta go then.” Jay stumbled out.
“Absolutely not, Halstead tell me what’s going on.” I rushed out before he hung up.
“Really [Y/N], this is something you should talk to him about.” Jay answered clearly realzing he had messed up.
“Yeah well too late for that, spill.” I shrugged even though he couldn’t see me.
“He told me he’s thinking about going back in.” Jay sighed heavily, my heart dropping to my stomach at the words.
“No he’s not. Stop screwing with me.” I laughed nervously.
“I promise I wouldn’t mess with you about this, I just figured you’d be the first person he would talk to..” Jay trailed.
“Yeah.. me too.” I sighed telling Jay that I had to go before hanging up. I spent the rest of the day in anticipation waiting for Mouse to come home. As much as I couldn’t wait to see him after my doctors appointment after Jay’s call I seemed to feel the exact opposite. I was a mix of emotions none of which I thought I’d be feeling in the same day. I didn’t react whenever Mouse came walking in the door. He walked up behind me from where I seated on the the couch.
“Hi babe, how was your day?” He asked leaning down to kiss me on the head.
“Fine.” I mumbled not averting my attention away from the TV although I couldn’t even tell you what I was actually watching.
“Okay..What are we doing for dinner? Cooking or ordering in? Or do you want to go somewhere?” He asked trying to get my attention rubbing my shoulders.
“Up to you.” I shrugged.
“What’s up?” He asked cautiously. I looked back at him but turned back around not answering. I wasn’t sure if at this point it was smarter to get in a fight with him or just give him the silent treatment so far I’d just been running with the latter. “[Y/N], come on talk to me.” He begged.
“Now you want to talk?” I asked harshly. He sighed in realization.
“Okay just hear me out..” he began.
“No Greg. No. We live together we’re supposed to be building a life together, and that means including each other in little decisions let alone deicisions as big as this. But honestly whatever. If you don’t look at it that way that’s fine. Do what you want.” I started off yelling but ended up whispering by the end of my rant. I looked at him tears flowing down my face as I walked towards our bedroom slamming the door. It didn’t take long for Mouse to come knocking at the door slowly opening it.
“[Y/N], I’m so sorry. I just didn’t want to worry you until I knew for sure what I was doing. I didn’t even know if I could get my record removed, and I thought it only made sense to tell Jay first. He knows what it’s like. He was by my side through it all and I just thought it’d make more sense. I still want to talk to you about it. It’s just that whenever I’m over there I feel like I’m something good. I’m fighting the bad guys, I’m making it better for everyone here. But I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing here in Chicago. I don’t know if I’m doing good here. Other than to you and Jay I’m really just nothing. I meant something when I was over there.” Mouse explained to me. I wanted to yell and him scream at him that I needed him, he meant everything to me. That he’s doing good by staying here with me. That he was going to have a son or daughter and they needed him here. He was going to be a dad, and was definitely not going to be just a “nobody.” But I couldn’t. I couldn’t use that to guilt him into staying. I couldn’t keep him back from doing what he was meant to do, or atleast what he felt like he was meant to do. So, I let him go. I let him go without telling him any of that. Standing at the airport I was still struggling. He needed to know about the baby right? It was absolutely killing me not being able to tell him, but I didn’t want him to think I was trapping him. So, I went about it the best way I could. I stood with Jay giving Mouse our final hugs, ready to send him off. Away from us. “I love you so much.” Mouse said hugging me tightly.
“Greg... I know this probably isn’t the best time to do this, but you need to know before you leave..” I started looking down. He looked at me confused. “I’m pregnant. You’re gonna be a dad. I wanted to tell you before. So bad, but I just didn’t want you to feel like you had to stay. I didn’t want you to think I was guilting you, but I just need you to know that now more than before you need to be smart babe. Come home to us safely please.” I begged beginning to cry. Jay and Mouse had the same shocked expression on their faces when I looked up. Right the last call for the flight went over the intercom. Mouse seemed frozen in shock still so I pulled him into a hug repeatedly telling him how much I loved him before kissing him. He did the same before hugging Jay tightly heading off towards the plane.
I had been able to talk to Mouse almost every other day either on the phone or video chat which was kind of shocking knowing how hard their schedules can be. So whenever the calls became more infrequent I wasn’t too shocked. It wasn’t until it had hit the 2 week mark of no communication that I got nervous. Jay and I had talked about it and he tried to calm me down, but he was nervous too I could tell. Everyday that went past I got more and more sick. I couldn’t live without Mouse. Getting through the few weeks without him gone was horrible enough but to actually lose him? To not plan for him to come home? To plan for a funeral instead? These thoughts flooded my mind. As I was distracting myself one night with work I heard a knock at my door. My heart immediately dropped to the floor thinking, this is it. This is the moment my life is going to change for the worse. I took a huge deep breath before opening the door, and of course at my door there was soldier. But not just any soldier. Mouse. It took me a minute to process, but I quickly lept into his arms throwing him off balance a little making him chuckle. “What are you doing here!?” I asked not letting him go so he just walked in the house with me wrapped around him.
“I was wrong. He smiled at me setting me down on the couch along side him.
“What do you mean?” I looked at him confused.
“I’m meant to be here. With you. With our baby. I don’t want you to got through this alone. I want to experience every part of this with you. You make me feel like I mean something and not being here with you... it just feels wrong. Even for the very short amount of time I was gone. I don’t feel complete without you next to me, and I can’t wait to be a dad. I don’t want to miss any second of it.” He said rubbing his hand across my cheek. I couldn’t help the tears that started to roll down my face.
“I thought you died you idiot!” I yelled smacking him.
“Hey!” He laughed “I had to take care of some stuff and it wasn’t the fastest trip back.” He smiled.
“Well you better call Jay he’s been worried.” I giggled.
“Yeah I’m sure that’s exactly what was happening.” He rolled his eyes. Pulling me into him to kiss me. My life had felt like a whirlwind in the last month, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Little Sister
Tumblr media
*Not my Gif*
Pairing: Mouse x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: Jay and Will crash their little sister and Mouse’s dates.
Warnings: None
I developed a crush on Mouse the first time I met him. He had come home with Jay while they were on leave. From there on he just became another one of the Halstead’s it seemed. Coming home with Jay whenever they got the chance, as well as videochatting Will and I together. He always took my side whenever Jay and Will would gang up on me even though he knew he had no chance against the two, but the “geek” side of him just made him even cuter than he was to begin with. Unfortunately, for me I just figured he looked at me as a little sister. Whenever Jay and Mouse got back from the war Mouse seemed to have a harder time readjusting back to life in Chicago. I reached out to him as much as I could, but he just pushed away and eventually I figured he wanted nothing to do with me. Luckily Jay finally got through to him. Jay got him a job in intelligence which from what I had heard helped him get back on top of his life. I hadn’t seen Mouse in a while so the first time I ran into him a whirl wind of feelings came back for me. I had gone to the district to meet Jay so we could go get dinner together, if I haven’t mentioned it already I am the youngest Halstead, right behind Jay, and am the only girl. Nothing bad can come along with having two overprotective older brothers right? Wrong. Anyway, upon walking upstairs I was met with quietness. I walked through the desks over to the little kitchen area where I ran into Mouse, almost physically. I was walking in as he just turned around to walk out catching himself just in time before he collided with me.
“[Y/N]?” Mouse said in what seemed like shock.
“Hey Greg. Long time no see. How have you been?” I smiled at him pretending not to notice my heart beating a thousand times a minute, or the heat on my face.
“Uh yeah I’m good. What about you? What are you doing here?” He asked.
“I was supposed to meet Jay for dinner, but it seems like he’s not here.” I laughed.
“Oh yeah, they caught a break in the case so they went out to chase the lead.” Mouse explained.
“Oh, well it was super nice of him to inform me of that.” I rolled my eyes laughing, “I’ll be on my way then, leave you be.” I looked down clearing my throat.
“Wait, you can stay. I have to be on the lookout until they get back. It gets kind of lonely. We could catch up?” Mouse said forming more of a question. I nodded my head following him to the equipment room. It was awkward at first, but in no time we were talking and laughing like we hadn’t missed a beat. Minutes turned into hours. However, there was the obvious question hovering over us the entire time.
“Okay, Mouse I think it’s time to address the elephant in the room.” I sighed leaning back in my chair.
“Okay, what’s that?” He asked nervously taking another drink of his coffee.
“Why’d you push me away? I was worried about you Greg, and I just wanted you to be okay, and you wanted nothing to do with me.” I rushed out trying not to get worked up.
“It’s not that [Y/N]. Not at all. I just.. I didn’t want to disappoint you I guess.. I don’t know. I was a mess. I’m not proud of the things I did in that time. I don’t even know if I’d be alive today if I didn’t get the help I needed, and I just didn’t want you to look at me differently.” Mouse explained disappointment clear in his voice.
“Greg, I could never be disappointed in you. What you and Jay went through together is something nobody else will ever understand. I was just worried about you. I know how strong you are, and I’m so glad Jay was able to remind you of that.” I took his hand smiling at him. Mouse looked up at me swiping his thumb across my cheek hesitation and questioning written in his features before his face went soft pulling my lips into his swiftly. I was frozen in shock. He pulled away after a few seconds face completely red. “Oh my gosh, [Y/N], I’m so sorry I just thought that-“ he began to apologize before I pulled him back into me putting everything I had into the kiss, and he didn’t hesitate for one second to do the same pulling me onto his lap. We probably would’ve stayed like that for a few hours if Jay and the rest of the intelligence unit wouldn’t have rudely interrupted us. Upon hearing their voices I quickly pulled away jumping back over to my own seat trying to make myself look presentable causing Mouse to bite his lip and throw his jacket over his lap, cause well... you know. Which made me giggle. It obviously didn’t take long for Mouse and I to start dating after that little scene. However we were careful to keep the secret to ourselves or more so keep the secret away from Jay and Will. We didn’t know how they would react, and we honestly weren’t in too much of a rush to find out. We were four months in before timing had caught up to us. Mouse and I were laying on my couch watching a movie together. I was cuddled into his chest while he had his arm slung over me from behind, legs entangled with each other. Slowly Mouse moved my hair beginning to kiss down the back of my neck. I did my best to not give a reaction, but the goosebumps that were quickly forming on my skin were not helping the cause. His lips made their way down the back of my neck, to my collarbone, back up to my ear as he slightly started to nibble on it teasing me purposely. I turned around in his arms facing him to see a smirk evident on his face. “Do you need something?” I asked raising my eyebrow at him.
“I think we both know what I need, baby girl.” Mouse smiled wiggling his eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes but quickly gave into him. Just as it was getting good I heard something hit the ground. I looked around Mouse to see Jay standing in the hallway eyes bigger than saucers. Luckily for Jay even though Mouse was on top of me we had not gotten past the make out stage yet, and the only article of clothing missing was his shirt.
“Shit.” Mouse whispered dropping his head on my shoulder before sighing and quickly getting up throwing his shirt back on. Jay had not moved from his position as though he was frozen. I glanced over at my phone that was lit up on the coffee table to see that Jay had texted and called me a few times. What I had then assumed to be him informing me that he was coming over.
“Oh hey Jay what are you doing here?” I asked cautiously trying to snap him out of it. All I could think of was how Ross reacted to Chandler and Monica in Friends.
“What...the...fuck..” Jay asked blinking a few times.
“Okay Jay before you freak out..” I tried to say before he cut me off.
“Dude, that’s my little sister, what the hell Greg? When? How? How long?” He began to ramble out. “Oh my god, I’m calling Will.” Jay stressed pulling out his phone.
“Come on bro, just listen to us.” Mouse begged. Jay looked at him blankly before picking up his wallet and keys that he had dropped and walked straight back out the door.
“Well... that could’ve gone better, could’ve gone worse too I guess. Anyway, what are you hungry for?” I asked walking over to the fridge to look at take out menus.
“Are we just gonna pretend that didn’t happen?” Mouse asked very clearly stressed.
“He’ll get over it.” I shrugged. “Seriously though, I’m hungry where do you want to eat?” I continued clearly not fazed. After I calmed Mouse down we decided to go eat at a burger place nearby. We weren’t there 5 minutes before I looked up to see Jay and Will walking in. “Uh.. what are they doing here?” I asked. I heard Mouse utter what sounded like “fuck” underneath is breath. “What do you mean fuck Greg?” I asked annoyance clear in my voice.
“I texted Jay and told him we needed to talk, but that we were going to eat here first.” Mouse sighed running a hand down his face just as they approached our table.
“Hey guys! Fancy seeing you here, what a coincidence.” Jay laughed.
“I literally told you we were going to be here.” Mouse whispered in response.
“Well as long as we’re here we might as well eat together right?” Will laughed pulling up two chairs one for Jay and one for himself both them positioning themselves in between Mouse and I. I went along with it acting as though it was no big deal. Plus all they wanted was a reaction out of me. However, the second time they did it I wasn’t as nice. It was about a week after the first encounter. Mouse told me that Jay had been avoiding him at work for most of the week giving him death glares from his desk. Mouse and I were waiting in line to buy tickets to a new movie I couldn’t wait to see. It was a chic-flick, but luckily Mouse was completely okay with accompanying me to see it. Just as we were a few people away from the register I turned and seen Jay and Will walking through the doors both smiling wide whenever they spotted us.
“What the hell Mouse?” I quickly asked him.
“What?” He asked confused but then turned around spotting them, “Okay no it wasn’t me this time I have no idea how they knew we were gonna be here.” He answered just as they approached us.
“Okay, nope. You want to stop being children about this, and actually talk about it you can come to my house until then I’m done talking to both of you.” I said harshly grabbing Mouse’s hand walking straight out the door. After we got back to my place Mouse tried to talk me down from my anger. Not very long after there was a knock on my door. I didn’t bother getting up to answer it knowing they were going to come right in. However, when I looked over to see them walking in they both had their eyes covered making me slightly giggle. “Stop being idiots.” I laughed rolling my eyes.
“I like to think we are quite smart for taking precautions.” Will pointed out uncovering his eyes. I sighed standing up to face them as I crossed my arms against my chest while Mouse stood behind me with his hand resting on my lower back.
“I’m sorry we didn’t tell you sooner, but to be fair the way you have been acting the past week do you really blame us?” I asked looking at them.
“I always knew Greg liked you [Y/N], I just didn’t know it would ever come to anything.” Jay answered me.
“Well it has, and I just don’t understand why it’s such a big deal.” I huffed out.
“You’re our little sister. You have to understand that no matter what, no matter who, we are always going to be overprotective of you.” Will chimed in.
“I understand that, but it’s Mouse you guys. Out of anyone in this world you should know he’s not going to hurt me.” I pointed out just as Mouse took a step forward.
“Listen guys, I understand why you’re being so cautious. I get it. You always have been when it comes to her and I respect that and always will, but I love her. I would never want to hurt her in anyway and I promise you I’m never going to.” Mouse said directing it toward Jay and Will but looking at me the whole time. I’m pretty sure my heart skipped a beat whenever I heard him say he loved me. He had never said it before, we had never said it before but I can say without a doubt it was the best thing I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. I smiled pulling him closer to me kissing him on the cheek whispering in his ear that I loved him too not wanting the moment to pass me by without reassuring Mouse of my feelings as well. Even though it took some convincing Jay and Will had promised to give us space and support our relationship. Of course not before reminding Mouse they could kick his ass in two seconds flat if need be though.

Pairing: Mouse x Reader
Requested: Yes
Prompt: You feel a little insecure
Warnings: Body insecurities
Seeing models everywhere, seeing all the other girls in your classes, in the academy, everywhere around you practically was hard. You had never felt good about yourself or how you looked. It wasn’t that you thought you were fat you were just average looking. You didn’t turn heads, and let's be honest every girl wants to turn heads. Your shoulders were broader than you would’ve liked, you thighs were bigger than you were comfortable with, and your face was just nothing special, with or without makeup. You were fit, but looking at all the other women patrolman around you just felt like you looked like a whale next to them. Again, not that you thought you were fat, but they just seemed to be sticks with just the right amount of muscle and perfect faces. They were the type of girls that got handed the bartender’s number before leaving the bar that night. You on the other hand were not. You had people like Erin Lindsay and Kim Burgess and Hailey Upton as your role models. Obviously it was hard to not feel like shit about yourself when it came to them. You learned to deal with it well though. You were used to it, and venting to your best friend definitely helped with the stress. You had known Greg, also known as Mouse (Yes, it was a silly nickname, but he’d be the first to admit it.), since your first day in the District. He was the tech guy for intelligence, and you were immediately captured by his adorable nerdiness. Walking into Molly’s you spotted Mouse seated with Jay and Hailey as well as Adam, Kim, and Kevin. He sent you a smile when he saw you walk in. You returned it going to the bar to get a drink before going over to the table.
“Hey [Y/L/N]!” Kevin exclaimed pulling you into a hug.
“He’s had a few to drink.” Kim whispered to you laughing. You nodded laughing while hugging Kevin back and sliding into the seat next to him. You were quickly immersed into conversation before you realized you had finished your drink.
“Anyway want more to drink?” You asked getting up to walk to the bar taking note of those who held up their drinks. You walked up ordering while Hermann went to make the drinks. You felt someone lean up next to you and turned to see a good looking guy you had never seen before.
“Hi.” The guy smiled.
“Hi.” You repeated smiling back at him. You felt good. It had been a while since someone had hit on you especially when you were here with any of the girls from the district. You were used to sitting back watching guys hit on all of them. So you felt confident for once. However, that was quickly crushed with his next question.
“You were sitting over at that table right?” He asked pointing towards your table. You nodded forcing a smile. “You tell that blonde girl she can call me anytime.” He smirked handing you a napkin with his number written on it. You coldly laughed grabbing it along with the beers Herman had brought over heading back to the table. You handed everyone their drinks before handing Hailey the napkin. She gave you a weird look before you explained.
“Guy over there says to give him a call.” You mumbled pointing over to him where he sat smiling at Hailey. She huffed ripping it up. You sat quietly listening to everyone converse around you before you decided to head out about 10 minutes later. You excused yourself as if you were going to the bathroom, but snuck out the door. You thought you had gotten away with it until you heard Mouse calling your name. Sighing heavily you turned to face him as he was putting his jacket on.
“Where are you going? You just got here.” Mouse asked confused look on his face. You shrugged continuing to walk. “[Y/N].” Mouse said sternly grabbing your arm to stop you. You rolled your eyes facing him again.
“Yes?” You asked annoyed.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” Mouse asked knowingly.
“Nothing. Just let me be.” You spit back.
“No. Not until you tell me what’s going on.” Mouse stood his ground. Your annoyance was taken over by the hurt you had been feeling emotions bubbling up.
“I’m sick of feeling like shit about myself Greg. Okay? It’s not fucking fair.” You huffed trying to hold back the tears that were clouding your vision. “I go out and see guys throw themselves at Hailey and Kim and every other girl I work with and I can’t so much as turn a guys head. My self esteem just feels absolutely shot anymore.” You explained. Mouse sighed grabbing your hand.
“[Y/N], come on. You’re beautiful.” He whispered softly.
“Mouse, you don’t have to say that. It’s okay. I understand that-“ you started before Mouse let out a loud sigh. You looked at him curiously as you could’ve swore you heard him mumbled something along the lines of
“Fuck it.” Before you were pushed up against the outside wall of Molly’s lips captured by Mouse’s. You stood frozen for a few seconds until your mind caught up to what was happening. You relaxed snaking your hands around his neck pulling him closer into you making him groan into your mouth before pulling away breathless making you whine slightly at the loss of contact.
“I’m not just saying it [Y/N]. You are beautiful, and I’m so sick of seeing you put yourself down.” Mouse sighed cupping your face with his hand. You couldn’t help but smile.
“Where’d that come from.” You giggled.
“It’s been years coming. I guess it just finally built up enough.” Mouse admitted leaning down to kiss your forehead.
“Thank you.” You whispered looking into his eyes.
“I just hope someday you realize how gorgeous you really are.” Mouse took your hand to drag you back into Molly’s.
