"Sammy" With your free hand you lightly hit the girl supporting you "Sammy, I'm tireddd."

Sam lets out a sigh and starts to drag you away. "Bye guys, I hope you make the right decision."

You close your eyes and lean againist Sam trusting her to take you somewhere as the world spins beneath your eyelids. By the time you open then again you are in a room lit by a fire that you can see Beth standing by and a couch in front of it that holds your boyfriend.

"Joshhhh" you break off from Sam and stumble to the couch, nearly tripping over the edge of it before flopping down on top of the man already laying there.

"Y/n babyyy my gorgeous amazing other half." His words were also slurred and his arms clumsily come up to curl around you tightly as he buries his face in your hair. You giggle and turn your face towards the fire to find Beth looking at the two of you fondly.

"Hiii Elizabeth, Bethy, my lovely friend." You reach the hand closest out to her and she takes it and gives it a little squeeze.

"Hi y/n. Partied hard?" She's smiling in a way that says she's already taken pictures of the scene to use as blackmail later on.

"Ugh yes, and just give me like thirty minutes and I will be ready to party again." As you say this your eyes drift further closed and you feel yourself relaxing more and more into Josh.

"Mhm sure." She snorts and lets go of your hand which you wrap around Josh. "Sleep well y/n, we can party tomorrow night."

You hum contently and close your eyes. You nestle your face into the crook of Josh's neck and settle further into your comfy human pillow. Between the heat of your boyfriend and the fire, you find yourself drifting off to sleep to the quiet crackle of wood, and breathing of Josh in minutes.

The way you wake up isn't quiet.

Instead of soft fire glow it's harsh red and blue lights. Instead of soft breathing it's loud voices and the crackle of walkie-talkies.

Those sounds stay for weeks until suddenly it's quiet. Quiet as in feelings of regret and grief. Quiet as in sobbing over a closed case and two graves.

Prologue is finished! Sorry if this isn't accurate to how you personally would act drunk. osamu sees atsumu’s ghost and he follows him around throughout the years. i usually shy away from sad/grief fics but this one felt like a piece of their soul. idk how to explain it but it was surprisingly comforting. it has a lot of love for the characters. this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but if you are up for it, i really enjoyed this fic.

This is John Watson from my adaptation��️‼️ Lore under the cut ^^

After the events of the final problem, John spiraled into grief and depression. He returned to his home in Clitheroe and lived with his parents. Unable to bear even looking at 221B. Sick of his isolation in his room for weeks on end, John's mother signed him up to play his guitar at some open mic nights at some random pubs. Though he dreaded it at first, he felt it to be quite calming in the end. It was a way to take his mind of Sherlock, or a way to channel those memories into something good.

I mentioned in my last post that I killed off my oc Eliza, and I’m gonna explain what happened 😋😋

Basically when The Handler died, Eliza was there in like, the colosseum, but didnt make it until the Carnotaurus was called, so she watched The Handler commit Carnotauricide, and in that moment, it wasn’t really grief or pain that she felt seeing someone she was so utterly close with get killed within 2 seconds; the final glance they share before hand wasn’t really a “goodbye” but more of a “see you soon.”

And it’s written as such because during the events of Chaos Theory season 1 and 2, both girlies were separated. Eliza was transferred to Senegal by Soyona days prior to Brooklynn’s assassination. She was enlisted to train the Baryonyx, and was the only survivor, but the attack left her completely helpless, so she ran away from the facility, and got lost in the jungle, and had to survive for months on her own. She pulled an Eric Kirby with how well she was thriving.

Then when Soyona and Brooklynn came along, Eliza found them and was like “omfg TAKE ME OUT OF THIS JUNGLE.” So she left with them, and when they got to Malta, that’s when Eliza and The Handler finally reunited after months apart with no contact. And ofc it’s oh so romantical yippee yuri yuri lesbian lesbian so cute‼️ but in that moment that’s when they also like, they go over how painful it was to be separated from each other, so they made “vows”, saying to one another, “Even in life and death, shant we ever part”, a twist on “Till death do us part”, because in their relationship, they don’t even wanna part in death. Not even the bounds of mortal planes could separate them.

Basically what their promises were to each other was: “If one of us goes out, the other goes with.” Because they have this sort of acceptance that this lifetime won’t accept them, won’t allow them to be together, so if there comes a time when one of them dies, the other will die too, and they can both be together far from this mortal plane.

And what do ya know, The Handler goes bye bye.

So then after The Handler dies, Eliza bids her “goodbye for now” to the unconscious Carno, (she’s talking to The Handler but like, she’s IN the Carno) takes the whistle with her, and leaves with Brook and the gang to BioSyn‼️‼️ (also during this time in s3 Brooklynn and her have been secretly chatting without Soyona or The Handler’s knowledge so Brooklynn is aware that Eliza is under coercion)

And I’m not sure how I’m gonna flesh it out yet until s4, but how she dies basically is to the BioSyn Atrociraptors whom she literally throws herself at, still waiting on s4 so I can fully flesh out her final arc, but just know her death will be to Atrociraptors.

She dies in almost the same way as The Handler; she raises her hand to the raptor, her eyes filled with acceptance for what’s to come, and then in a split second, gets attacked, only difference in their deaths is The Handler’s was swift while Eliza’s was slow.

And I sketched it. TW for heavy gore.

Hm. Thinking about the rune of the unborn and the rebirthing egg, just Rennala in general.

I find interesting how in one video Zullie showed the inside of the egg, it being cramped with scholar bodies, which if i recall was cut outside of the cutscene because it would be too obvious.

I also find the way they are in fetal position intriguing as well.

The whole ordeal with Rebirth and grief with Rennala makes me ponder a little, the way shes constantly making more sweetings and losing them short after definitely takes a toll on her, I'd even say shes constantly in a feeling of post-partum depression/psychosis and grief.

Its said in her hat description that once Radagon left her she experienced heartbreak, and he left her with the egg and the red wolf all alone.

Now this is a little silly, but consider this:

Why would Radagon leave her with an Egg who grants rebirth?

Glad you asked! Here's my yap:

Its mostly headcanon BUT hear me out.

So, the sweetings, aka the young scholars. They dont look far from Rennala but, who are they exactly and why are they all clones? whos the original? where did these guppies come from?

In my headcanon, there was going to be a fourth carian, although the timing was unfavorable, Radagon left Rennala pregnant and alone, her children had grown apart from her and she felt helpless without her family (And also how the scholars turned in on her), grief led her to miscarry that child. The sweetings are modelled after the child she never could carry to term, alas the only one who would inherit her looks.

The egg being the catalyst for the sweetings isnt just a random bird analogy, the way she craddles the egg VAGUELY resembles how a woman would hold her womb durinng pregnancy, might be a reach but you know once you see it, you see it.

Where am going with this? She became helplessly dependant on the egg, as far as abusing the rebirth over, and over, and over, lowkey giving post partum depression, as I mentioned earlier.

Of course, these are short lived, thus makes it WORSE.

Also to add, the name in itself "Rune of the Unborn" is quite in the face, you literally seek to take her egg from her, egg which resembles a womb, egg which basically births the sweetings, that's not Rennala's rune, that was supposed to be the baby's if anything.

The babies being short lived also being a result of Rennala not feeling whole, the miscarriage and being broken still, never meant to be born, but she pushes herself, clinging to the little sanity left in her.

HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE RAHHHHHH🗣️‼️

( YES, I know that Jack's parents are theoretically inspired by an article about a man killing his girlfriend, but this post is a HEADCANON, I only used the name Ellen because calling her Jack's mom is a bit repetitive)
