Personality: Grumpy, sarcastic, and full of sharp wit but ultimately caring. He masks his encouragement behind teasing remarks and dry wit, though his genuine investment in the MC’s success is undeniable. He softens noticeably when food is offered, hinting at a gluttonous streak that he indulges purely for pleasure, as he later admits he doesn’t actually need to eat. His refusal to disclose what he is—or why he was created—adds to his enigmatic nature.

Gift: Fibbles appreciates thoughtful gifts such as, an antique quills or scrolls, ink bottles (especially rare colors like shimmering silver or deep violet), any food, particularly sweet parties and the best of the best being honey cakes, and gourmet teas (paired with snacks, of course)

SY transmigrates but the system tells him he's going into SQQ and he gives that a hard pass, so it drops him in the body of a little demonic lizard in the Endless Abyss and then says "well since you right want to participate, you're on your own" and leaves him.

Which, rude.

So SY is an Abyssal Lava Gecko. They live in lava floes and nest in caves made by air bubbles forming in the lava and then cooling enough to solidify into walls. They don't need to eat, they photosynthesize off of the intense heat, but if they do eat, they produce venom powerful enough to paralyze a heavenly demon.

They're also all of 4 inches long.

Nevertheless, SY starts cultivating furiously so that wren LBH gets dropped in the Abyss, he's powerful enough to survive outside of the lava without starving or getting eaten himself.

He succeeds.

Sort of.

He finds the crater from LBH falling in, conveniently for him, it's next to a river of lava. This is less convenient for LBH who is unconscious and getting crispy.

As a lizard, he licks LBH's face to wake him up. He doesn't wake LBH up, but ingesting HD blood pushes him past his cultivation bottleneck!

Yes!

He transforms into a human!

He's only 4 inches tall.

Previously on A Mechanitor's Message, best girl Ivy was struck by an ominous pillar falling from the sky as the unnatural darkness rolled in! With a shredded torso, shattered legs, and massive blood loss, we can't count on her for any combat that might come in the near future. All that matters for now is saving her life.

Leaping into action, the Jones boys set to work rebuilding the hospital wall to keep it safely enclosed. At the same time, Chief Gardener Tupelo puts her not-insignificant medical abilities to work patching Ivy up.

One brand-new hospital wall later (we ended up using marble instead of sandstone), and the gang is ready to take on the darkness, starting with the pillar that so rudely injured Ivy.

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR HURTING OUR LITTLE GIRL!! 😡 Where's Jut? Why isn't he helping avenge Ivy??

just fun character exploration sketches that i compiled into one sketch page. i’m trying to improve with dynamic poses but especially building confidence with sharing my sketches. i’m so used to just sharing finalized pieces that i tend to just keep my sketches for myself and for my portfolio.

i just adore how in love marinette is, and how flustered she gets for a specific side of adrien which is NOT when he's trying to impress people as funny and charming chat noir (friend zoned) or as his public persona of cool and self-assured (she's fine with it but remember her natural reaction was eat the rich) no, she's gaga for him when he's basically just… there. just existing.

that's when marinette is like ohhhhh i can't not marry him 💦

as cat walker, he was closer to that than his "yeah ik im cool ty" public persona, the point was to be as toned down as possible, no theatrics, so he was basically just who he is when he thinks of himself as Just Some Guy, which is supportive and gentlemanly cause those are his most immutable traits.

something i thought of while having gender feelings. so much of masculinity is performative, it's so tiring. most male leads reflect that, their main thing is physical prowess or leadership or stoicism. adrien is not about any of that. i can't tell yall how much i love that.

How To Rehome A Brownie

Me: Sorry I'm late! I had trouble getting everyone together, we almost left Bruce and Brunhilde at the burrow.

Friend: It's all good—sorry, getting who together?

Me: (lifts basket; a bunch of little heads peek out) Oh right, I should make introductions! They're a small family, but they come HIGHLY recommended. This is Papaw Smuther and his wife Esne, and Jordan and Bruce and Brunhilde and Sally, and that's her husband Doolin and their triplets—

Friend: (waving hands) No, I mean, very nice to meet you all, but . . . (lowers voice to a whisper) Why did you bring a basket of tiny people to my housewarming party?

Me: (blank stare) I said I would, on the signup sheet! I was pretty excited when you gave the go-ahead, most people don't invite them nowadays and I'm always keeping an eye out for good homes—

Friend: (facepalm) You signed up to bring BROWNIES.

Me: Right! (indicates basket) Here they are!

Friend: I thought you meant the kind you EAT!

Me: (scandalized) You can't EAT them, what kind of barbaric—?

(Papaw Smuther zips up her shoulder and whispers in her ear)

Me: . . . Oh. Ohhhhh RIGHT! (turning red) That does explain why Janice said she'd bring cookies . . .

Friend: It's, uh, it's fine. Perfectly . . . normal misunderstanding. (looking everywhere but at sad brownie faces) But, uh, while I appreciate the offer, we're not really looking for house brownies at this . . .

Friend: . . . What happened to my flowerbeds?

Me: Oh, they weeded everything, deadheaded your daises, and made that bush look like a swan while I carried the triplets up the walk. I told them you were cool but they wanted to make a good first impression.

Friend: . . . On second thought, come on in!

(chorus of tiny cheers)
