I just wanted to say that L definitely listened to The Smiths. And he definitely got Light into The Smiths too. And after L was gone Light listened to 'Asleep' religiously but always denied it when asked.

I have to say no piece of media has manipulated my feelings as much as the fucking hinterland doctrine. I feel like I'm hanging onto a pendulum that keeps swinging and swinging. Sometimes it's nice, like I'm on a roller coaster, but other times I feel sick or like I'm gonna slip and fall or sometimes it's a mix of everything. I have never really experienced the horror/humor combo until now and it's just. Really unnerving and confusing and props to the author halfpromise jfc

the hinterland doctrine by halfpromise- everybodys a corrupt politician! i havent actually finished this yet but its sooooo good so far. Very different to any other fic ive read and to the source material (just read it and see, i cant explain lol)

a cotton candy shake up your ass by wildernezz- lawlight gas station au. Very fun, i can tell theres gonna be great angst

(and, of course) both Luck of the draw and A Minute More by Imarson_404- the former is a B is accidentally chosen by light during the experiments mini au, and the latter is an extensive time travel light wins fic. Both amazing!
