I wanted to make a weevil plush, but I noticed a lot of them had some kind of pattern on the back and I was lazy and didn't want to make the plush more complex, so I decided to make them a space weevil!

Instead of sewing on extra fabric on the back to make some kind of marking I used these star shaped beads so it would be easier to make but wouldn't be so blank

Also even though I do like the final result mostly I probably won't be using this pattern again in a while just because of how difficult it was to fit all the legs on and turn inside-out. If I do use this pattern again I'll add stuffing to the rostrum so its not so floppy

now that the first images of him are being picked up it reminded me to show him finished! my scorchsona made from @beanbagbuddies4life’s pattern. It was a difficult little thing to put together but i trusted the process and he turned out super cute. I love the vintage fabric i picked up for this pattern as well.

He is complete. My custom trans mini blahaj.

Hes perfect and adorable and an absolute mess and I love him. He's so incredibly wonky and has/had so many problems but I did my best to fix him. The biggest issue came from his face where I'm pretty sure I got the pattern wrong and as a result it originally came out looking like this...

Yeah. Didn't help that I messed up the eye placement. In order to fix it I just straight up cut off his face and rip off his eye before sewing it back together.

In conclusion: this was a very fun project, I love my little baby and I will be making MANY revisions to my plan/pattern before making the one I will gift to my sister.

im working on a plushie of nail bunny from jthm, it has been taking Forever but i finally got the pattern nailed down (ha) with the felt prototype below, and i bought the Good Fabric so i can get started on the final product now
