Meeting the Madwoman: An Inner Challenge for Feminine Spirit by Linda Schierse

It is we who have severed ourselves from the old ways of the great Mother & the natural agrarian & egalitarian order of Naure.

That is to live with Nature, in a felt participation & sense of belonging within the great circle / circuit of flow, where energy circulates & so there is enough for the needs of everyone in the community.

A way of living that is not in opposition to Nature but in deep magical sympathy with the natural laws / laws of Nature (the essences, the Shakti's, the Matrika's, the principles, the Gods/Goddesses, the forces, the planetary intelligences etc.).

In whichever way we personify the high laws, there can only be harmony when we are deeply tuned in, to hear & see, with deepest intuition how to balance ourselves & our culture within the greater ecosystem in which we are embedded- not separate from.

When we are in a state of listening & reverence, we remember how to go about life so that we are provided for.

When wealth accumulation starts we withhold energy from the great flow which then disturbs a delicate balance & elsewhere things start to collapse.

The paradox we are in is that we can almost no longer return to the natural order, & when we have sufficiently cut ourselves off from it we are also destined to die off along with it.

Cut off from the great flow a system becomes artificial, a machine & must be sustained by siphoning & directing energy from elsewhere where it flows naturally, towards it- patriarchy & late capitalism is a beast, a wealth-making machine, that is destined to collapse, like any parasite must die, when the host can't give anymore.

But Nature is perpetually regenerative, seasonal & self-sustaining & once the parasite is expelled, She will grow & birth & flourish.

As much as we wish, no-one can entirely leave patriarchy for the forest, & we fear that if we just walk away we will be homeless on the streets.

Now, this very fear is our inner work, our meditation, our complicity, our inertia, our stuckness— how to find a way of living, within the modern landscape, that is true for us-& to free ourselves from materialism.

HE began to create 'classes' of MEN - some HE was subservient to and some he had Power over.

HE began to create more and more false 'sensual pleasures' at the expense of Nature and of other MEN.

SOME EVEN began to "sell THEIR Souls" in search of even more.

AND THE LIGHT KEPT GETTING DIMMER...............

so the thing is i didn’t have high hopes for this, bc i hated sweetener and people were saying this was like a part 2. and shitting on positions, my favorite ari album, to compare this one. so i’m like i’m gonna hate this. but i am actually so excited bc i like it. i finally have new music to be obsessed w rather than relistening to the same songs over and over.

also just bc i like the album, don’t mean i’m like a homewrecker stan. she gotta chill.

she should’ve kept the red themed cover like i get the message of the new one but it just doesn’t hit the same.

anyways bc i’m a psycopath, i listened out of order bc that’s the only way i can properly listen idk y.

it’s a cute lil intro. my everything vibes. 6/10. probably won’t relisten to this one much. but i love how she’s being so honest on this album bc i’m a nosey ass bitch. love when ppl air out their business. more more!

modern disco viiibes. upbeat. very dancey. but also lyrically it’s very idk not melancholy but like kind of sadish i like that. 7/10. the song is really not my personal taste but it’s really good still.

naur he turned up the tv when he heard her crying throw that man in the trash!!! i like this one. i like the melody and lyrics and the chorus is my favorite part of the song. i wish the production was a little more melodic. it only does it for me during the chorus tbh. but i like this song. 8/10 “but i just can’t refuse” in the chorus sounds like the “im finding ways to stay concentrated on what i gotta do” in die for you by the weeknd.

so 90s love it. very aaliyah beat. i love a good 90s r&b moment so ofc this is an automatic like even if the chorus isn’t that catchy. idk ig i just feel like pop should have catchy melodies and/or an infectious beat. y’know? also she ate w/ the belting at the end. 8/10

the boy is mine:

YASSSSSSS. again we know i love a 90s vibe. the slowdown right before the chorus is insaane. and the choral style harmonies on the “is” of the boy is mine scratches something in my brain as well as the “gotta be a reason why” robotic voice thing. this is so catchy. this is totally a fantasize vibe. so good. 10/10

i dont have it in me to keep defending this song from u vultures. AND i wish she put the mariah carey version on the album too 8/10 and no i will not be explaining myself further y’all are gonna make me cry.

feel i’m getting an 80s vibe again. i like it. i’m loving the upbeat music, sadish vibe lyrics thing going on in this album. i like the vibe of this song a lot. i do wish something in here was more catchy. but i like it. it’s so soft and wistful almost. that’s probably why i’ll relisten. conjure up some interesting maladaptive daydreams w/ this one. 7/10 edit: i watched the video now i like it more. 8/10 lol

a/n: i cannot have breaks when i study. i study for 2 hours and want to take a break for 5 mins and resume where i left off?? naur i can't go back to studying. so here i am with this story i wrote in those 5 mins

“Let me..,” you huffed, “is anybody here?” You whispered, popping your head into the gymnasium. 

You glanced around the empty space, hearing no sound from within. You nodded to yourself and pushed the doors to let yourself in. 

Holding your manuscripts tightly, you headed towards the stage area humming a soft tune. 

You stepped up on the wooden stairs, soft creaks echoing through the empty halls.

You stood in the mididle of the stage, the velvet red curtains hanging from above. You looked at the hall from above, feeling a random sense of superiority. 

It felt really nice to be watching from above. 

You glanced around the stage behind you, searching for the grand piano. 

Lo and behold, the semi-concert grand piano lay just by the side, hidden enough to not raise much attention, visible enough to be seen if attention was paid. 

You placed your folders of manuscripts upon the music rack and flipped to the page where “Rêverie du Soir, Op. 3” was boldly imprinted on. 

Wasting no time, you started playing the what you feel underrated piece. It was really sad seeing there aren’t much recognition to these composers of the classical period as compared to others such as Beethoven, Mozart, Hadyn, and others.

As such, being a current Grade 8 student intending to pursue a Diploma of ABRSM in the near future, you have this need to make these great composers known. 

Your fingers danced across the monotonous keys on the grand piano, not noticing if anybody was watching you from afar. You focused on the notes on the annotated manuscripts, fingers skillfully prressing down the right keys. 

The feel of the grand piano was better than the upright piano at home, in fact, it wasn’t even comparable — the feels was simply out of this world. Each key responded to your touch, even if it was the softest touch, giving you the full control of the piece you are playing. 

The harmonious piano sounds rang through the hall, you too lost in the melodious sound that you hadn’t noticed the grey haired male that stood by the gym’s balcony. 

Once you finished the song, you let out a sigh of relief. “Thank god,” you whispered, “I didn’t play any wrong notes.”

Then you heard someone’s shoes squeaking against the polished floor, making you looking around the hall eyes wide opened, remembering where you were currently at. 

Your eyes met with the vice president of the volleyball club, and you got up immediately from your seat and bowed to him in shock.

“I’m sorry!” you apologised, “I shouldn’t be here disturbing the club!” 

“Oh no it’s fine!” you heard him say, lifting your head to face the man who now stood before the stage.

“The club’s activities have been postponed to an hour later,” he said, “our coach suddenly had some urgent things to do, and the rest of the team had to stay back in lessons to prepare for their upcoming exams.”

“Ah..,” you muttered, “is that so?” 

He hummed in reply. 

“How long have you been in here?” you asked your classmate, whom you talked to a couple times during English Lessons, it being the only lesson you both shared.

“Since the beginning,” he smiled. 

Your face heated up in reply. “What- How?” you spluttered, “I didn’t see you anywhere!”

“I stood by the far end of the balconies,” he pointed. “It’s reasonable to not be able to see me.” He chuckled. 

“Your playing is very nice,” he commented, “It’s very beautiful.”

“Thank you..,” you muttered softly, not used to the compliments. 

“Are we disturbing anything?” the both of you turned to face the doors that stood wide open, with a short tangy orange and tall and grumpy blueberry standing right in the middle. 

You felt the heat rise up to your face, surprised to see more members coming in. 

“Dumbass!” blueberry shouted, smacking orange right in the head. “Ouch!” orange turned, “what was that for?”

“Can’t you see the Suga-san is talking to them?”

“They are?” he turned back. 

“Wait!” the orange hair guy exclaimed, “when did- how did you get down from the stage?”

“Err..,” you said, “by walking down the stairs?”

Sugawara called your name, shifting your attention to him. 

“Are you alright?” 

“Yeah,” you said, “I am.”

“I’m so sorry if they made you feel uncomfortable,” he sighed, “they’re always like that.”

“I’m fine,” you chuckled. 

“Say,” Sugawara fumbled with the hems of his shirt, eyes on the ground. “Do you want to go out with me one day?”

Your eyes widen. 

“No I don’t mean it like that!” he waved his hands furiously, steam coming out from his ears. “Unless you want it to mean like that..?”

He bashfully turned the other way, clutching his fingers tightly. 

“Sure,” you replied with a smile on your face. 

His eyes brightened up, turning to face you.

“It’s a date then!”

I first explain what the Guardians do and then Perseus <3

The Guardians are people guarding over the nation which was assigned to them. They often work with the ruler of said Nation very close together (but exceptions exist like always ofc). Normally they were also immortal - but due to some .... Changes theyre mortal now and the most of them are dead because the Dysphoria already killed many of them.

Also the Guardians have some sort of area they're the best in - for example there exist a Guardian of Fears (another oc of mine) whose powers are all related to fears, ykw I mean?

Also the Guardians work close together with the God's, because a God (another oc of mine) made this Guardiansystem decades ago. <3

And! The Guardians always have some sort of a leader (the God of Creation who is still alive; means it changes always after the God dies)

That's basically it

Now, Perseus reason to join the Dysphoria was because he got betrayed by the Guardians. He, himself, is one - and Despoina knows it and sees it as an exception to leave him alive (but under the condition that he helps them killing other Guardians and God's). Perseus is the Guardian of Energy and due to ..... Well, an accident - he may.. mayhaps accidentally kill the old leader in the Guardian war (yes they had a war at some point), but it wasn't his intention to do so - he got kicked out nonetheless. Perseus is someone who never experienced something like a stable home - he experienced it first with the Guardians. And when he got kicked out - it literally destroyed him internally. This was the day where he joined the Dysphoria and wants to get his revenge. <3

(pls Perseus has so much lore, this is him in very short)

Henotic and Ilmestys were both first bad ones because Despoina taught them so, but as time passed Henotic (God of Peace and Harmony) realized it's bad and he left the Dysphoria with Ilmestys (cuz Ilmestys goes everywhere where Henotic goes LMAO they have some sort of Brother-Sibling dynamic (Ilmestys is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, oh and they're the God of Destruction btw<3))

Both of them hide it, although Henotic can hide it better than Ilmestys (let's just say.. Ilmestys brain is filled only with games and fun and stuff, like a child)

But Despoina knows they're God's nonetheless and will kill them too, some day (it's her goal)

Thoughts and First Impressions on the Beatles Discography: With The Beatles

It has been some time, but welcome back to: "Misery listens to Beatles albums on repeat for a really long time and then gives his opinions on them"! This listening episode was With The Beatles!

Compared to when i listened to Please Please Me, I've had this one on repeat for a lot longer, and idk if that's me liking it more or if I just needed more time to formulate my opinions lol

It Won't Be Long: Starting the album off with a bang! Love the guitar riffs. Also the little background "yeah!"s are charming. Love the backing vocals on this in general. Got a good groove to it altogether. I like how it's more intense instrumentally on the chorus and then pulls back on the verse, it's a good ebb and flow. Also like that oooo harmony at the end.

All I've Got To Do: LOVE this one! I love how sparse the instrumentation is at points so that part of the song is also just the silence. Vocals are lovely. Really like the solid light drumming on the verse. The hum over the instrumental into the fadeout is gorgeous.

All My Loving: It's this one! I'd heard this one before when I watched AHDN. Harmonies are nice. It's got a good consistent groove to it. The bit where it pulls back and it's vocals with the "Ooo"s is really lovely.

Don't Bother Me: George song!!!!! Made me laugh that his first released song was just "leave me alone", very George of him. Claves are fun! The tambourine is cute. Guitar is groovy. Good vibes good vibes. Melody is nice. Unique in just having lead vocals. The tom on the fadeout is cool!

Little Child: HARMONICA!!!!! SHE'S BACK! This one is fun and groovy. Very dancey. The yelling and then going ham on the harmonica makes me smile.

Till There Was You: Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!!!! I said "oh Paul..." with a dreamy grin on my face the first time i listened to this. HOWEVER my brain is meme poisoned and when he sang "I never saur them winging" my brain just played the tiktok H2O just add water "aur naur cleo the condensation" audio and i did start laughing. HOWEVER HOWEVER this is genuinely gorgeous and i love the guitars and the bongos and Paul's voice. Beautiful Gorgeous, and one I'd listen to on repeat alone. Probably my favourite track.

Please Mister Postman: Tiktok also poisoned my brain for this one a bit but it's really fun! I love the "wait a minute"s, they're good vibes. I was bobbing my head. Just really nice. Good vocals all around. the bit where it's just John singing and the handclaps and the drums? Gorgeous.

Roll Over Beethoven: The stereo mix... was not made for men like me... I did not enjoy having handclaps every second blasted into my right ear, I'm not gonna lie. Otherwise it's very good technically instrumentally, George did very good on the vocals and I like his little "woo"s and the way that he pronounces Tchaikovsky. Good vibes if not for the goddamn handclaps.

Hold Me Tight: Ohhhh the vibes are fantastic. I love Paul's voice so much, I really do. Vocals in general are fab. Guitar is fun and good. Another very danceable one.

You Really Got A Hold On Me: Good slow groove! I like the drums, with the sus cymbal. Also the "hold me"s are lovely. Nice high notes! Piano is good.

I Wanna Be Your Man: RINGO TIME BAYBEE!!!!! Just a fun good time. The guitar is great! Apparently there's organ on this? I can't super hear it individually, but I can feel it supporting the other instruments, and the glissando is audible. I actually fucking love how (so far) Ringo's songs just devolve into him screaming. Fantastic. Good Vibes. Ringo I Love You.

Devil In Her Heart: Groovy! I like the maracas. The backing vocals are lovely. Good drum groove. The bass is actually audible in the mix for once! Guitar is nice, and I like the closing chord.

Not A Second Time: Piano!!! I love how percussive it is. Great. It's interesting to hear the other instruments take more of a backseat in the mix.

Money (That's What I Want): More groovy piano! Enjoy how for the second album in a row we have John closing it out and just YELLING. I would also like some money! Again with the sparser instrumentation leaving the vocals a bit more isolated. John Lennon Yells At You To Give Him Money ASMR.

Aaaaand that's the album! Gave similar vibes to Please Please Me tbh, and I know this one was about a third covers as well. I really liked it though, it was a good listen. Idk if this is just something i noticed in this album because i was listening more, so it might be a thing with PPM as well, but the bass was really quiet in the mix. Anyways, yeah! My Opinions! Onto the next set of non-album singles, and then AHDN! As always if you like my opinions feel free to follow or chat!
