What's twisted is that if June and Moira hadn't had a fight in that room at Jezebel. If they hadn't forgotten the letters, Nick wouldn't have been able to go get them. He didn't know how to lie to Wharton because he didn't know what Wharton knew. And in the end, because of June and Moira but also Luke and Moira (6x03), Nick is killed. A character is sacrificed because of people wanting to play heroes.

It's all so unbearable that everything that's happened to Nick this damn season has a basis in June's decision:

June decided she needed to save her husband and Moira because she had zero faith in them. But of course she couldn't do it alone, because in reality she could do almost nothing on her own, without the help of others.

June decided to go to Jezebel because she thought she was the chosen one. But again, she just made things worse. And again, Nick had to clean it up.

June decided that Nick was the bad guy because he chose to survive.

June decided that Nick was gonna die because… why? Because she's a bitch with a god complex and there was no real, rational reason for it. There's just no justification for it.

Hey, seriously, I never wanted to hate her… 😭 but just typing that made my blood boil. What a shitty script... She just used him. She's been using him for a long time, but this has gone beyond the pale. Are we really supposed to like this? For what reason?
