hey so we've been meaning to ask you, which brushes do you use on CSP? the new years event thing they're holding gives out clippy and iirc you said your main brush costed some and we finally like. Have some to spend lmao
-Siam
Tumblr media
hello Siam!! :D oooh yes login bonus time!! i have a singular main brush i use and swear by, which is "softBrush♦B8pencil♦DryInk" [10 Clippy] (Content ID: 1944219) aka "SmoooZZz2" <33 it's soft and wispy and a bit textured and it blends very prettily, i've been using it for a long time! (issues are that it's semi-tranparent, so using it for line art can be a bit of a pain lmao but since most of my art is just colored sketches i can get away with it)
a common thread you'll notice with my brushes is that 1) I LOVE SOFT BRUSHES!! and 2) I LOVE PEN PRESSURE!! so my brushes are soft and/or have a good taper to line widths.
some of my others: - "SOIPEN" [Free] (Content ID: 1778407) used to be my old main go-to, real solid brush, but still soft! good for proper lineart, which i havent done in ages hgjkg - "Yokan brushes (羊羹ブラシ)" [30 Clippy] (Content ID: 1944592) or as i renamed it "softie brush" (it used to just be the japanese characters) is what i use for blush and shading. it's really soft, but still has a harder edge unlike an airbrush, which i like! - "SU Cream Pencil" [Free] (Content ID: 1761353) is a classic, such good textures, really solid brush with a good taper!! :3 - i think Turnip Pen is a CSP default, it came free with your xbox /ref, i basically only use this when i need to color something solidly. (i also have a duplicate one with the no anti-aliasing setting. for homestuck purposes. :3) - Rough 6B Pencil is GONE FOREVER APPARENTLY?? i've looked up the content id and there is nothing hgkjg, so sad </3
other things i recommend: - "[UP] R Colour Gradient Set (Hair/Eyes)" [20 Clippy] (Content ID: 1945188) (and their other ones, if you just go check out the creator HamR, i have White and Pink but the Blonde/Purple/Green sets are new to me, i might get them lmao hgklj) are GODSENDS i LOVE messing with these for gradient maps (let me know if y'all need gradient map advice or anything hjglk), they make colors good :3 - "close and fill tool without gaps" [Free] (Content ID: 1759448) is just like. praise be ice cream fill tool, we all love ice cream fill tool!! please get this if you don't have it already, it's really helpful. you just make a layer beneath your line art, lasso your line art as messily as you want, and it'll fill it in for you, it's WILD man hglk - "BOKE brushes" [Free] (Content ID: 1610288) are really pretty for backgrounds if you fiddle with add (glow) and opacity!! - "A brush set that draws clouds" [Free] (Content ID: 1723992) is really good, i love using this for skies <3 this creator (27pt) has a lot of other good assets too! :D
i think that's about it!! clippy does expire eventually, but not for a while! you'll probably find some cool assets to spend it on before then :D in general i think a lot of the free assets are really good, but extra clippy is always nice to have!! i hope this helps, thank you for asking my beloveds!! :] <333 <222

Twerk I love your art so much, I missed it so much 😭😭!! You've progressed so much and I literally love all of the detail you put into your pieces like holy cow???
Also what drawing platform do you use, and do you still do art streams? (Because I'd love to come watch them again 🥹🫶)
HI STORMIEE
this is so nice im losing it 😭💖thakn you 🥺
i missed my cars art too fr, but i finally went on my inevitable furry art training arc 💪 i return rejuvenated!!
youre right, i looked back at some of my really old stuff recently and its crazy how far ive come. i always feel like i progress wayyyy slower than most artists (i am a hobbyist after all), so being able to finally see improvement with hindsight is such a gift. my only art goals are to be able to communicate my ideas in a way that makes me happy- any improvement is a very useful bonus XD. im very glad you agree, and even happier that you noticed.
oo!! software!! this is a good question, because it's changed since i was last drawing cars!! [still using a pc + my little 2009 wacom pentablet. im shocked it hasnt died yet.] i swapped over to Clip Studio Paint fulltime in 2022 [previously used SAI2]. i had a weird living situation for a while and had to use my ipad for a time, and i got soooo sick of the limitations of procreate that i swapped to CSP. i realized it was time to put on my big boy pants and dig in to learn more complicated software, and im very glad i took the time to do so. i wasnt able to draw nearly as much as id like in 2022-23, but in april-may 2024, i spent time reorganizing my CSP on my PC with custom brushes/materials/tool settings, a custom workflow, custom color palettes, custom hotkeys, and then training to relearn the muscle memory for efficient, uninterrupted work with the new setup. by july i was back to drawing comfortably. CSP has opened many doors for creative freedoms with its capabilities. i cannot recommend it enough. (also, ive gotten bigger on references. another pleasant inevitability.)
art streams! ...i actually havent done any in years, because of the aforementioned weird living situation. i totally fell out of the habit. i used to stream fairly regularly to twitch, picarto, and discord, but alas. (nowadays, once in a while ill sit in discord with a screenshare open, if my old CPU doesnt scream and wail at me too much and crash the stream that is. i could look into doing discord screenshares in the cars server again perhaps?)
thank you again for the kind words <3 !!

Adobe Broke Photoshop in 2023 (October Update)
Back in July, I made a post detailing how bad Photoshop has gotten for me this year, which you can read here. But if you want a tldr version of it, following new years Photoshop stability and reliability has taken a nose dive with constant crashes that prevent auto recover from being as effective to glitches that make working in it a nightmare. Its been over 3 months since I made that post and I kinda wanted to do an update on how photoshop has been. Has it actually gotten better? Kind of but not really. In some ways, its gotten better, in others worse but generally not much has changed. I guess two positives that come to mind is that one of the afformention glitches I noted was patched up at some point in July, so I was able to update finally. Though, I didnt experience the backlash from not updating photoshop like I had in March (fuck you Adobe). And I havent been experiencing the left click lock as much, although thats more to do with me not doing certian commands that I found could trigger it than adobe actually being a good company and fixing it. There's a thread on the adobe forums about this issue, and according to one of most recent posts as of the 22nd, they run a photo company and have called Adobe support 5 times about this issue, and it seems that no one at Adobe knows about this glitch. Yes a billion dollar company who sells programs at inflated prices because they're "industry standard" knows nothing about a single bug that has been in the program for 6 months, but will gladly add in new features no one will use.
Now when I say things got worse, crashes started happening more frequently again in late September and Early October. But instead of happening weekly, they happened almost every fucking day. One day I would have a crash, the next day nothing would happen, before a crash happening the following day. And what was more crushing about this was that it happened while I was dealing with selections and flatting comic pages... whats funny about this is that not only can selections not be recovered if you close the file (even if you save), but can only be saved by pressing a seperate save button which has no keyboard commands. Which made these crashes more horrible than if I had been inking or sketching. Once again, I consulted the Adobe forums for help and once again, the solution was to update my gpu driver which was out of date. I don't think its the fact that I had already done this and nor that somehow, the driver I had been using since March was already out of date by September that makes this situation so ridiculous. But its the fact that I've pretty much had to bend over to change my pc just so I could run photoshop within the same year. In contrast to how things were before 2023 where I didn't have to do a single thing and photoshop ran fine. Its only this year that for some divine reason that the program decided to be shit to me.
So why was I still using it if it was so bad? It was because of my first Chapter. Around the time I had that initial post, I was still hard at work on finishing my comic's first Chapter which has taken me 4 years to complete. I had anticipated getting it done around that time, but due to burn out I ended up taking much longer, finishing it on October 13th. During those final few months, I decided that upon finish Chapter 1, I would be done with photoshop and moving onto a different art program for the rest of my comic. And that program ended up being Clip Studio Paint which I got as an early birthday present from my dad, following photoshop crashing on me two times in that day, the latter happening an hour after I took a break to calm myself down after the first crash....I wish I was making that up. I went with CSP due to the fact that most tapas artists I know use it and because of the many good things they've said about it. Its a pretty highly regarded program, and even if my motive for buying it wasn't because of Photoshop's "quirks", it has features that make producing comics much faster in CSP than in photoshop. So with CSP in my hands, you'd think the nightmare would be over, right?
You so, my plan was to use CSP for my comic starting with Chapter 2 but after spending some time in the program, I realized I probably wouldn't be knowledgeable enough or adapted to it enough just in time for me to start drawing Chapter 2 with a release date of early 2024. So in the end, I decided to wait until Chapter 3 to make the switch, while limiting myself to CSP for spur of the moment drawing ideas and illustrations. Yes, Photoshop has been a complete failure to me but I am way more experienced with it than with Clip Studio. I dont want there to be a potential quality drop following the most recent episode and I want to be sure I can use it before jumping into creating comics. This isnt like the switch from traditional to digital for my comic back in 2021, because I had already had more than a years worth of experience with photoshop and digital drawing by that time. Because of that, the switch wasn't as rough as it would've been if I had done it earlier. I was going to save this announcement for one my kofi 'comic corner' blogs (btw if you want to support me on kofi click here: https://ko-fi.com/kenthenugget) but Im making this post now so why the hell not. But for the time being, Im still going to be using photoshop for Chapter 2, and my character sheets of course. Given how long I spent on Chapter 1, you might think Im crazy for wanting to use the program for another 4 years but I don't anticipate this chapter taking as long, due to skill and because its much shorter in comparison.
Im not going to lie, I have mixed feelings on continuing to use Photoshop for my comic. On one hand, Im glad I wont need to worry about a potential quality drop but on the other, I dont know how long I can handle crashes and glitches that only seem to persist as time goes on. I'll just pray to God to give me strength during the drawing of Chapter 2 once I finish thumbnailing. Hopefully, I and photoshop will be able to last.....

Its that time again,,,,!! 😁😁😁 ANOTHER SUMMARY OF ART UYIPPEEE
my yaps about college, artfight, the august challenge, my laptop dying, etc, below!!
GOD WHAT A YEAR. Ive started college in sepetember and it has rlly sucked my time out for drawing :( BUT im hoping ill be able to draw even if im busy next year! I think this year ive done a lot more rendered lineless kind of a style and im super happy with how far im going!!
ANDDD I PARTICIAPTED IN ARTFIGHT AGAIINNN it was super super fun!! ANDD i learned not to burn myself out again >B]
August was certainly. a month. A certain art challenge took me by its grip 😁 im sure some of my mutuals would know why LMAO But yeah that month was certainly fun! im looking forward for next august if it continues :)
Ive also participated in more zines and also a MAP for the first time!!! It was super super cool being able to participate in a project like that 🥺
On a sadder note, this is the year my old ass laptop flat out DIED. even if it was given so much new expensive parts, one day it just blacked out, and never opened. It happened around August, and it devastated me. I would never recover my pens that ive gathered throughout the internet, I would never recover my art that i didnt save anywhere. i lost So so many files. And we couldnt recover them. So guys. SAVE YOUR PRECIOUS FILES SOMEWHERE. YOUR LAPTOP MIGHT DIE UNEXPECTEDLY AND NEVER OPEN AGAIN 😁😁😁
SO yeah, i was given my sisters old laptop and im using it now. Thankfully, csp saves your pens and materials and you just have to download them all again, and so i had to download ALLL of them again and elimate the ones i dont use. Downloading them took SO LONG OHMYGOD. But alot of my pens and materials arent from the shop itself, alot of them were downloaded from the internet, so i havent been able to get back with my fav pens and materials as of now :(((
But yeah, Rest in peace Old ass laptop, it has served me well <3
BUT A GOOD THING THAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR IS THAT I GOT A NEW DRAWING TABLET!!! A SCREEN ONE >B]]] It took a while to get used to but i persevered >B]] Although its a liiittle shitty because it overheats and the button presets kept restarting at first AND i hate the squeaky sounds my pen makes when the screen is slightly wet (because my hands get sweaty quite easy😭) BUT OVERALLL IM HAPPY W ITTT <3
if youve read this far say BERRI IS SO CUTE AND PRETTY <33
Tumblr media
SUMMAREY!!! OF!! ART!!! 2021!! HELL EYEAH!!! This year has been so special for me in terms of art because this is the year where i FINAlLLY receieved a drawing tablet for christmas, and i havent stopped using it everyday ever since✨✨ like gosh i would not have done these art without my drawing tablet, and so i am SO grateful because this gosh darn things are ExpESNSIVE TSK TSK. Back then id just be drawing in my phone on medibang and then unto ibispaint [which i super highly recommened btw] and it was my introduction to digital art! tradition art tata!!! But yeah!! heres some of my most favourite art pieces per month! im still really proud of alot of these, and i cant wait to see how much i progress in art in the next year🙏🙏💖💖

if you havent tried it yet, i recommend testing out the lasso color tool (the one I use has the ID number 1739874, if you search it in the Clip studio asset store, it should come up). Also, while we're here, for line art, my favorite tool is 1708873, it's both smooth and high resolution, and it has very good pressure size control and a little bit of pressure opacity control. It can also be used for flats if you want, since it doesn't have any wonky opacity weirdness the way a lot of the default painting brushes have
best of luck using CSP! it can take some time to get used to a new program after being with another one for a long time
this software is absolutely boggling my mind, so thank you for the advice
i have not had a chance to do much with this except to stare in perplexed befuddlement as the waves and waves of material tools cascaded over me like a frog at a powerwashing demo

What brushes do you use for colouring? :O
I USE A LOTTA BRUSHES FOR A LOTTA THINGS LOL,,,,, but i can give ya a rundown of sum a the brushes ive been using lately!! (note: sometimes i mess w the settings of brushes i dl and idr which ones ive changed specifically so if the base dl's not EXACTLY the same as mine,,, oops!!)
Tumblr media
this is the one i showed off briefly in the last ask guide thingy i did, its very sharp pixely and irregular which i think is fun! really good for making things look shiny, even if i dont use it to color a piece i might use it to add the eye shines if i feel like it :] heres the link to it!! (if i changed anything abt this one i probably just set the anti aliasing to none LOL)
(adding a cut here cus it got kinda long lol)
Tumblr media
this one i got more recently, about the same time i downloaded the punch pencil set, but its very fun!! i like the texture, good for subtle blush details n just fun to paint with !! heres the link to it!! (i dont think ive altered the settings on this one at all since i got it so recently?? idk tho loll)
Tumblr media
this one ive had and used for a WHILE!! back when i first really fucked around n got into painting digitally yk?? its so fun i havent been using it AS often lately but still BIG recommend. heres the link!!! (i mostly mess w the particle size setting on this one, depending on the brush size n stuff i want yk??)
Tumblr media
ok this ones kind of a joke brush i made based on a twitch stream sum time back LMFAO as u can see the brush tip is just. kirby. its a material made by markatoto on twitch/twitter (that got taken down from the store idk why lol) and i made this brush as part of a bit, but it is actually p fun LOL u should be able to dl it thru this link?? lmk if it doesnt work and ill put it in a drive or smth instead (once again i mess w the particle size on this depending on brush size, also this is a raw .sut file which u add to csp by dragging the file into ur subtool bar just ftr)
Tumblr media
ok this is a default brush in csp 1.10.10 and newer but its what ive been using for the more watercolor-y lookin doodles!! "wet wash" is another default brush i use for a similar effect, though its much more opaque than this one, if for whatever reason u have version 1.10.10 or newer and dont have the new brushes u can get them here!
Tumblr media
this is the newest brush ive gotten!! also obtained from a twitch streamer, izzy belbeeps, im still gettin used to it but its very fun and smooth!! once again this is a direct dl, since the only place its been uploaded is izzy's discord server, and im not gonna reupload it anywhere else since its not mine LOL,,, so if that link dont work their discord server should be linked in their twitch bio (check out their streams while ur at it theyre a cool nonbinary latine artist with a cute lil imp avatar. mar is also cool hes a lil pink alien guy) and the brush is pinned in the announcements channel :P
again, i have and use a LOT of brushes LOL if theres a particular piece ur interested in knowing abt u can link the post or send the /post/number in an ask ig?? my memorys bad so if its an old one i might not rememebr lol sorry GJFDL

hi there ritsu! i hope i'm not bothering you, and that you're doing well. i was wondering which (digital) art products / devices you're fond of / you use? i hope that's okay to ask. wishing you a wonderful day!
HI RHAPSODIE i am doing well. umm im not too heavily into digital art products I AM A DIGITAL ARTIST ? i havent touched my sketchbook in a year ive only ever used it to doodle in class, but what i mean is that im not  Savvy. If that makes Any sense. GHGJJGHJ i did try to dabble in a screen tablet but the screen didnt work for some reason so i just use it as a normal tablet. its from the brand parblo, but really any brand is .. whatever? i think people obsess over getting really fancy shit. my first tablet was 50 dollars it was one of those cheap tiny wacom ones and it worked perfectly until my cat chewed on the wires and i had to get my current one and i think id still have it if it werent for her. for art programs.. um. i used to use medibang until like may? now i use csp I GOT IT WHILE IT WAS ON SALE which is poggers i think its worth spending a little money on honestly. not to say medibang sucks ! it was a really good program, and spectacular for a Free program and it worked just fine. anyways this is a really long answer HELP THATS ALL I HAD TO SAY . you as well!!!!!!!

Vet school fees - Melbourne
@onyxia99 said: Hey! I’m in Yr 12 this year, I’ve had my heart set on becoming a vet for a long time. Looking at the DVM at UniMelb, which costs 250k, while fee help only covers 150k, I’m wondering if you know how payment for it would work, if I dont get a gov. subsidised place? Would I have to cough up 100k+ after completing the bachelor of science? Haven’t been able to find much online and teachers haven’t been much help. Really worried about my chances of doing the course at that price. Cheers
I’d be worried about paying that back at that price too. It’s going to saddle you with $250k debt straight out of the gate, which is at least half the price of a house around Melbourne, when the average new graduate vet wage is around $45k per year and an experienced one is more like $70-80k. Paying off $250k would be extremely difficult without a cash gift from a wealthy benefactor. But because vet degrees are in such high demand by students, there will be someone desperate enough to pay this, whether or not it’s a good idea.
Certainly you wouldn’t be the only student who’s has to turn down a full-fee paying place and keep waiting for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP, the government supported ones), because the CSPs are much cheaper with the government footing a percentage of the bill, and you can then put the rest on Fee-HELP. (Fee-HELP is basically an inflation-only government loan only for higher education, which is paid out of your tax withheld. You just pay more tax until it’s paid off, for the Americans in the audience)
If you are in a full-fee position, you essentially need to make sure your semester fees are paid by the census date in each semester. That’s a day about three weeks in where everybody has to be committed to their subjects. So you’d need to be paying a chunk of that $250k every 6 months, which is a huge ask. There is little flexibility and the finance department at Unimelb can be very slow to do anything.
So you pay your semester’s fees per semester, and most people would have to take out a private loan to do that.
There’s a few details I can’t quite remember about Fee-HELP though. I’m pretty sure that $150k loan is the lifetime maximum for students in the medical fields, so if you’ve already put a science degree onto Fee-HELP you haven’t still got the total $150k you can use. And I’m not sure if full-fee students even qualify for Fee-HELP in the first place, so you may be completely on your own with that $250k.
$250k is a lot of money and will take a long time to repay. My loans were closer to $40k and it’s taken me about ten years to pay them all down, and that’s on a CSP. $250k could take your entire working career and if I had to make these decisions again, knowing what I know now, I don’t think I’d accept a full-fee place, but would rather wait the extra year and try again for a CPS.
Good luck with whatever way you decide to do.

i was always like “wtf” at photoshop artists bc i used it and it’s not a good art based program like,, i use procreate now n its obv much better but like, if u cant afford a program n wanna make some neat art? i have some neat n free recommendations (both for mobile n desktop)
take this w/ a grain of salt of course, cos i’m not the best artist and i def. have my biases
fire alpaca (desktop) / medibang paint (desktop + mobile):
basically my highest recommended, both come from the same company i think- there’s an english vers. and other language vers. for both so far. they each have websites with a bunch of tutorials on stuff like clipping layers and coloring mixing brushes- and medibang has a mobile version (tho, imo it doesn’t work as well as the desktop + theres a lowkey subscription thing).
the main difference between the two is in layout- medibang is a lot more detailed but firealpaca has more beginner friendly features.
pros
+ actually has a lot of things most paid products have, like transform tools and lassos n all that. shares all of it’s shortcuts w/ photoshop
+ custom brushes are fine, tho they use a diff format from photoshop brushes n all, also similar-ish to sai n csp
+ brush stabilizer and the ability to lock layer opacities / masks!! so many programs dont have this but it’s real helpful, esp when you dont want to go through the process of having a billion clipping layers
+ medibang has a resource library, n fire alpaca has comic features / a 3d perspective tool
cons
- a fair bit overwhelming on medibangs end, generally confusing on firealpaca’s if you dont have a guide to help you figure out what icon is connected to what tool
- theres a canvas limit for editing, not much more than general editing either, which, while it is the base of art programs- doesn’t leave much for creativity, plus brushes only have a few settings, u cant make them softer / sharper unless you make a new one
- subscription service for medibang, which is kinda… iff.
basically, medibang / firealpaca are easy to use, solid choice for artists. the former is for peeps who really wanna go for illustrations and detailed drawings, whilst the latter is better for beginners + comic artists. download links below:
https://medibangpaint.com
https://firealpaca.com
krita (desktop)
honestly havent used this much, i didnt really like the program. but, it does have it’s strong suits. unsure if it’s compatible with other program’s brushes or files, unfortunately
pros
+ very customizable due to being open source, preset brushes and custom ones and also in the app’s layout itself.
+ constantly updated, so there’s always new features.
+ allows the upload of custom assets like brushes and palettes and stuff
cons
- definitely overwhelming at first, a lot of features and admittedly brushes are useless to one’s dynamic dependent on what they wanna do. it can be hard to figure out what will work on your first time on it
- laggy, probably due to bugs and stuff from the updates. new features are hit or miss on the working on as well. they get fixed soon enough, but still.
so it’s a fine program, if you can take the time to learn it and swerve around the more glitchy or slow parts. and if your computer can handle it, of course. download link is:
https://krita.org/en/
ibis paint x (mobile)
ah ibis paint, the mobile users dream. i have it too from my finger drawing stage, so i like to think i have had a decent enough experience.
pros
+ surprisingly professional for an art app, filter features, lasso tool, etc. a whole lot of brushes and a resource library as well. comic support is also added.
+ community support! they show off art of the weeks, allow you to upload your works on their servers to be liked by other people, and recently ive heard they’re starting to allow custom brushes transferable by qr code, so, neat.
cons
- ads, ads everywhere. i understand it’s a free program and they need money to maintain the servers (for the community based content, as mentioned), but admittedly- it’s a little cheap. you only have a select set of base brushes and then you need to watch an ad to get 48 hours of like, every single brush in the pack. it’s a good- no, great deal! but still, reeks of cheapness.
- it does look equally cluttered and is a bit klunky when navigating, due to it being a mobile app and thus screens can be… small, yes. it looks better on a tablet, though the squished layout makes it seem kinda overwhelming.
all in all? it vibes! one of the best mobile art apps if you can get over the cheapness. i can see why a lot of people use this. download it on google play and the app store!
autodesk sketchbook (desktop + mobile)
okay now this might be outta the park a bit, but hear me out. this’ll be- a lot more simple compared to the others, admittedly cos i haven’t used this in a while.
pros
+ like a whole lot of realistic— and i really do mean realistic —brushes. pencils and charcoal and even smudge sticks. it feels a lot like drawing on actual paper
+ clear cut interface, it’s minimal for the sake of giving you more space to draw, and all that. however, the canvas is still very easy to manipulate when you wanna zoom in or rotate or anything.
cons
- it doesnt have a lot of the cooler filter or gradient tools, at least from what i’ve seen. no custom brushes either, this is definitely… traditional, in the sense that it doesnt offer much.
- touch controls are a bit wobbly too, it’s meant mainly for a stylus with all it’s pen pressure stuff. you’ll miss out a lot on touch / mouse alone.
it’s… well there’s not much to say about this one, mostly because it’s— ultimately it’s for those who’re really into the more traditional feel! it’s pretty niche, but to those who can use it- and i do recommend you give it a try if traditional brushes are your thing -more power to you! download link below for desktop, but you may also find it on your phone’s app stores:
https://www.sketchbook.com
of course, you can always just pirate photoshop or whatever
but for those who would probably find art programs interesting, these are good and once more, free alternatives to the popular program
remember not to take adobe’s corporate shit, either way!!
denormalize using photoshop for serious art. when people tell you they use photoshop just be like “uhhhh… for art???” and brush them off every time they try to justify it. make fun of people for using photoshop. bully people for paying for photoshop subscriptions. no more adobe products we have moved past the need for adobe products

Hi!! I wanna begin with digital art but I don’t know where to start and what devices I should buy or what softwares I should use especially since my budget is quite tight, can you recommend me anything? What about you, what do you use? Thank you!!💖💖
Hallo there anon!!! Thanks for messaging me about this I’d be glad to help!!! ((Forgive me for this being long and for any mistakes im not very good at typing or spelling lol))
So for starters, Im no expert in the latest tech for digital drawing but wacom tablets have been my go to since I started doing digital art. I would recommend the tablet I have but they discontinued the model on the website. Its a wacom bamboo create and its lasted me for a good while. They do have a new wacom intuos graphic tablet which is decently priced and might be a good thing to check out.

I think it comes with an option to get a Clip Studio as a bundle but im not 100% sure on that.
Ive only recently purchased Clip so I havent really experienced using that program fully yet. I mainly use Paint Tool Sai but its a little pricey. Clip is really expensive too but they do have sales going on a lot so keep an eye out for that incase you want it later on. There are some really good free programs out there though.
Krita is a great alternative to Photoshop, CSP, and Paint Tool Sai. Its a little confusing to get used to where everything is but theres lots of video tutorials out there incase you need help. FireAlpaca is another one ive heard thats good. So if your thinking of free software these two are definitely some you should try out 👍 Here are these links:
Hmm...im not sure what else to say but I hope this was enough to help. Feel free to drop anything other questions you have in my inbox though I’ll be glad to answer them!! 😊
