“The Mimic, formally designated as E-001 or Entity-001, is a massive predator native to Hudson County.

It is bipedal (though it has been observed crawling on all fours while hunting) and highly aggressive, choosing to hunt at dusk and dawn, when its prey’s visibility is at its weakest (typically from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. and 4 A.M. to 6 A.M.), though it has been known to hunt later into the night if prey is more plentiful.

E-001 is named for its uncanny ability to perfectly mimic the appearance and voice of those it has killed. By superheating the coils of fleshy “wiring” that it’s body is made up of, it is able to melt down to a fraction of its normal size, creating a body that is completely indistinguishable from its victims’, including their vocal chords.

E-001 can also mimic a wide variety of sounds to disorient and confuse its prey. Such vocalizations include police sirens, footsteps, and traffic.

E-001 was the first entity discovered in Hudson County, and the Hudson County Task Force was established in the wake of its first string of violent attacks. During this feeding frenzy, it took the lives of eight Hudson County residents, including Coroner Mason Riviera and Police Chief Raymond Sanchez.

An attack by E-001 is easily identified by these characteristics:

- The presence of bite wounds similar to that of a large reptile.

- A clean, surgical incision down the victim’s torso, starting at the chest and ending above the groin.

- The removal of the prey item’s hands, tongue, or eyes.

- The removal of the prey’s vital organs

E-001 is incredibly dangerous and can dispatch a fully-armed squadron of operatives in seconds. When patrolling at night in territories where E-001 has been sighted, always travel in groups of at least 5. If calls of distress are heard coming from a secluded area, ask the caller to identify themselves. If they do not, vacate the area immediately and notify your squadron leader immediately.

E-001 is not to be engaged under any circumstances.

You're very welcome! I enjoy making lists, because I inevitably stumble across a few films to watch myself!

I've been meaning to watch HCtF, but I haven't had the opportunity (though I've just found a Youtube link I can bookmark until it gets taken down).

I've heard it's an underappreciated cult gem, plus I love Roddy Piper (rest his soul). It's also post-apocalyptic, and I've been trying to curate a list of such films for a while now.

She let out a deep sigh through her nostrils, bordering on the acceptance stage of who she had been partnered with: the happy go-lucky kid from Queens who never had a negative thing to say about anyone -- even her.

Jasmine Rodgers releases Underwater, a live recording made at Kore Studios in May. Featuring Ivor Novello Award winning Scott Matthews, Underwater also features Danny Keane on cello. “I wanted to capture us all together in one room because I think the energy is different and more intense. I’ve been fortunate enough to support Scott on his last tour and I knew it would be really fun to do this. Jasmine Rodgers is a London born musician of mixed parentage and says this has nurtured a deep love of many different genres. Her solo shows feature her complex guitar picking styles and intricate vocals, effortlessly veering from folk to rock music, which is why Ivor Novello award-winning musician Scott Matthews invited her to support him on his latest tour (last one NCEM, York, 25th Jan 2019). Her song ‘Follow You’ was recently featured on Fatea Magazine compilation.

Her solo forays take her to more folk based territory, and last August she travelled up to Shetland to perform at a sold out show with Jenny Sturgeon (Jenny Sturgeon Trio, Salt House).

Jasmine also has a solid fanbase in the Japanese anime world thanks to her work as front-woman to British rock band Boa, who wrote and performed the soundtrack to award winning anime Lain Serial Xperiments.

Jasmine is currently working on new material set for release later this year and her recent collaboration with Scott Matthews and Danny Keane has culminated with a live video recording at Kore Studios.
