now im also still thinking about tma dnd au.... mostly i agree with jonny&alex' assignments. Signing a contract to work in the Archives is really signing a pact with the Eye, so everyone there multiclasses in warlock, but only Jon really gains levels in it because of all the xp he gets by reading statements. Tim is a fighter, Sasha a 'real' wizard, Martin a bard who performs poetry instead of playing an instrument, says he studied at the College of Lore, but really he's self-taught and not even level 3 in bard.
Species though. i mostly drew Jon as a tiefling cause i wanted to give him horns but really, a tiefling would be preoccupied with whether or not he's turning into a monster. Sasha can just be human, and i think Tim is a half-elf, charismatic, easily fitting in with most crowds.
On the one hand i want Martin to be tall. but on the other. he just is a halfling. easily underestimated, typically caring, not very fast, not easily immobilized by fear, and, considering how little he gets hurt or wounded compared to tma's other characters, definitely a certain kind of lucky
#joos yaps#could also make jon a halfling and then we still can have tall(er) martin and s5 really is just lotr#tma#tma dnd au#tma s5#martin keeps multiclassing for 1 or 2 levels in a new class#so he can do a lot - poorly.#jon is constantly out of spell-slots cause no one ever short rests. this is why he passes out all the time#they assign ranger to melanie but i think rogue does work as well. rlly high dmg with a dagger#if jons a tiefling melanie must of course also be a tiefling.#dont wanna make a cop an orc but i do want some orcs so georgie gets to be orc#basira is a dwarf. daisy an elf#playing against type#ok. enough talking. send post

these go HARDDDDD!!! i personally like 2 think it goes:
francis - rogue / low level ranger subclass (wayfarer origin)
kelsey - wizard / now warlock subclass (scribe or sage origin feat)
blake - low level artificer / high fighter subclass (soldier origin)
trudy - paladin / cleric subclass (acolyte or guard origin)
tony - bard / high rogue subclass (charlatan origin)
My peachyville headcanon on what each character’s DnD class might be:
Francis- Rouge
Kelsey- Monk
Blake- Fighter
Trudy- Cleric
Tony- Bard
Feel free to add your ideas on what each character’s class could be
#dungeons and daddies#dndads#dndaddies#the peachyville horror#peachyville horror#can u tell which of these im the least sure od#i love trudy but she doesnt super fit into any of our traditional dnd classes#she mostly uses the psychology skill as well as fasttalk but beth also mentioned her being pretty strong#the ones i feel most strongly about is kelsey and blake#i feel like blake was “meant” to be an artificer but his int is like a 9 or a 10 😭#no dexterity either i feel like thats like a 10 too#so his og class is artificer but his fighter subclass is WAY higher of a level.... also he has the soldier backstory#kelsey i feel is 10000% a wizard but thru zhuzel (sorry will i dont rly wanna google how to spell it rn) shes gotten a few levels of warloc#also entertained the idea of tony as like a 1 lvl druid with the rest in bard because of his cat origin LMAO but it just sounded sooo wrong#also thought about a few levels of barbarian for francis bcs of his bathroom freakout tm but its not consistant with his character#like. ygm. one incident doesnt one barbarian make right just bcs youre angry once doesnt mean thats your whole personality#plus hes much more careful with the gun later on so i think ranger suits him#i feel STRONGLY about the mayfarer subclass for him tho:#“An urchin or societal castoff#you learned to survive. Forging your own path and possibly turning to crime when needed#you’ve managed to keep your pride and hope that destiny has more for you yet.“#isnt that SO francis????#anyway#xo#im too invested lol#glenn close#henry oak#ron stampler#darryl wilson

REAL last post actually.......... what do i do with cyrus' class for this timeline.........................................................
#cyrus bg3#given his 'has been'/'was an adventurer and has now regressed to level 1' vibes i have a lot of leeway i think#is he even still a paladin????????????????#none of the other char casting classes fit...........#he could just be a very charismatic fighter or barbarian#or (dare i say it) this is a version of cyrus that actually has a decent wisdom score#and could be a tanky cleric or ranger or something

Guessing Dungeon Meshi character classes, just for fun! Marcille is obviously a wizard, and Chilchuck is a rogue. Senshi seems to be a fighter with one (1) level in ranger, favored terrain: dungeon. Falin functions as a cleric, but in a system without divine patrons.
Laios..... Laios is a paladin, but he's a pathfinder paladin. A tank with some limited healing capability. All his points slam dunked into animal handling to compensate for his charisma modifier.
#not getting into any multiclasses later on#no anime spoilers#but my boy is a bard of course#dungeon meshi#dunmeshi#senshi can't have more than one level in ranger because it becomes a spellcasting class at level 2#also before you @ me animal handling is a charisma check in pathfinder#I know it's wisdom in 5e#but also#is anyone gonna argue that he wouldn't have to compensate for his wisdom modifier as well?

My entry for @wttt-week day 1: Table News. “5 Points.”
Inspired by the lovely emails I get from DOGE at work. 🙃 I wondered how each of the States would react to being asked by a sketchy quasi-government agency what they did last week, and this is the result!
Contains a random assortment of news stories from the past couple months (I started working on it in early Feb and THINGS KEPT HAPPENING 😂)
A HUGE thank you to @freshwolfhell for putting all this together as a TikTok (bc I DO NOT understand TikTok at all lmao)!
Details and links to various news articles that inspired this video under the cut:
-“5 Points”: inspired by my own experience in recent weeks. In case you are unaware, at the beginning of the T**** administration, when Elon Musk first took over DOGE a.k.a. The “Department of Government Efficiency,” he immediately set out to target Federal Employees as useless and lazy. He spread rumors that Feds do nothing all day and began sending out super patronizing emails making us list “5 points” we do every week. As if we aren’t already held accountable at multiple levels already 🙄)
-Musk’s “5 Points” email demand plagued by bounce-backs, clogged inbox
-Yosemite park rangers protest DOGE cuts by hanging upside-down flag from waterfall at park
-Legislation proposing to designate the Texas Almanac as the official Texas State Book
-Texas lawmaker pushes to recognize cannon as official state gun
-Texas bill targets “furries”
-Danish petition to buy California attracts hundreds of thousands of signatures
-Measles outbreak in Texas
-CDC, NIH and more health agencies brace for layoffs with DOGE
-Dysentery outbreak hits Oregon
-Train robbery in northern Arizona targeting Nike shoes leads to 80-mile police chase
-Canada PM Mark Carney says old relationship with US 'is over'
-Trump officials texted attack plans to a group chat in a secure app that included a journalist
Florida’s comment is in reference to the fact that people playing War Thunder occasionally end up sharing classified government secrets in game group chats 😅
The rest is just what I think would be in character for them.

The Bats, The Spider And The Misunderstandings
Chapter 1
After the multiverse debacle, Peter asked Dr. Strange to erase everyone’s memory of “Peter Parker.”
Dr. Strange then be all like, “I’ll do you one better.”
And poof — Peter Parker wasn’t just forgotten.
He was deleted from his old universe entirely. Yanked out and unceremoniously dumped into this godforsaken one. Also, because the multiverse is a mess of spaghetti timelines, he was eight again.
Just wonderful.
Gotham looked like someone turned the world’s saturation slider to grayscale and never turned it back up. Constant fog. Cold. Buildings that screamed “crime scene” even when they weren’t — actually, maybe they are. Basically, if a horror movie and a crime documentary had a baby, it’d be Gotham.
And the crime? Horrific. Missing persons, muggings, murders — all before lunch. The city had so many lunatics running around that it required a full team of nighttime vigilantes in pointy ears just to function.
Peter, now eight and existentially annoyed, tried his best to survive. His oversized hoodie didn’t do much against the cold, but at least it made him look appropriately pathetic.
He found shelter in an abandoned building that looked one sneeze away from collapsing. It had bullet holes, cracked walls, and probably a ghost or two, but hey — better than the streets.
For food, he dumpster-dived. Mostly behind cafés and bakeries, where tossed-out pastries and sandwiches still smelled edible. Sometimes people even left them in clean containers, as if offering sacrifices to whatever street kid gods existed.
After overhearing Gotham’s strict “No Meta” rules, Peter decided to lay low. No Spider-Man-ing. Which, honestly, felt so dumb, considering Signal was clearly glowing in broad daylight.
Still, he didn’t need webs to help people. He wasn’t going to let a no-fun city ordinance stop him from doing what he always did. He rescued cats, helped the elderly cross the street, found lost dogs, and — just recently — got kidnapped.
Intentionally.
There’d been whispers of a child trafficking ring. So Peter, brilliant idiot that he was, played the part: small, weak, alone. Bait. He got scooped up like a clueless stray.
Now he sat with his hands tied in some grimy warehouse alongside several trembling, sniffling kids. He wanted to bust them out right now, but he needed information first — how many kidnappers, were there multiple cells, who was in charge…
His plan:
Step 1: Get kidnapped.
Step 2: Gather intel.
Step 3: Escape, save the kids, and drop an anonymous tip to the Bats.
Simply flawless!
Except Step 3 turned into watching Gotham’s bat-themed Power Rangers crash through the skylight and absolutely wreck the kidnappers.
Peter blinked up at the vigilantes, squinting. Robin. Red Robin. Nightwing. Spoiler.
Why did they all look so familiar?
“You okay, little guy?” Red Robin asked gently, kneeling to untie him.
Peter pouted. “Yeah, I’m good.” He really didn’t like the patronizing voice.
Meanwhile, Tim Drake — aka Red Robin — was having a crisis.
Why does this kid look like Dick? Like, tiny Dick Grayson with different hair and eye color. Is this his secret love child? No—Dick would have had a full-blown meltdown if that were the case. So maybe…accidental love child? Clone? Why is no one else freaking out???
He pushed the spiral of panic to the side for now. Priorities.
“What’s your name?” he asked.
“Peter… Peter Parker,” the kid answered hesitantly.
Tim offered a hand. “Alright, Peter. Can you stand?”
Peter got up on his own, brushing Tim’s hand away with eight-year-old levels of defiance.
He led the kids outside with Spoiler. Paramedics were already waiting.
“Hey O, run a search for ‘Peter Parker,’ will you?” Tim murmured into comms.
“Who’s Peter Parker?” Nightwing asked.
“I don’t know, N, you tell me,” Tim deadpanned, eye roll audible.
Now everyone was confused. But Tim was the team’s resident caffeine-powered genius, so they assumed he had a reason. Even if he sounded like he’d just discovered Dick had a secret son.
—
Back at the Batcave, Tim tossed a strand of hair — covertly plucked from Peter’s head — into the batcomputer.
The results were… unexpected.
Yes, Peter Parker was genetically related to Dick Grayson. 49% match. Basically, mini Grayson.
But the kicker?
His DNA had been tampered with. Modified. There were traces of radioactivity and spider DNA.
“I was not emotionally prepared for a radioactive spider nephew,” Tim muttered.
“Find anything on him?” he asked Oracle.
“No records. It’s like he doesn’t exist. Might be a fake name?” Barbara speculated.
Then came The Voice.
“Red Robin. Explain. Who is Peter Parker?” Batman demanded.
Tim didn’t even look up. “Nightwing’s son.”
“WHAT?!” The entire team exploded in unison.
“…Also, radioactive spider son,” Tim added helpfully.
“RED ROBIN,” Damian snarled. “EXPLAIN. PROPERLY.”
Tim sighed, rubbing his temples.
“One of the kidnapped kids looked just way too much like Nightwing. Different coloring, but face structure? Identical. So I did the logical thing: snatched some DNA, ran a test. Results say Peter Parker is genetically Nightwing’s kid. Forty-nine percent match.”
“But there’s more. His DNA’s been altered — radioactive signature, arachnid genes. He’s not a natural meta. He was experimented on.”
“…He was created,” Cass murmured.
Everyone turned to look at Nightwing, who looked somewhere between confused, horrified, and mentally flipping through every decision he'd made since puberty.
“I—I don’t know who his mother is,” Dick said, bewildered. “I… had a bit of a playboy phase, okay? There were names I didn’t catch—faces I barely remember—look, it was a very confusing time in my life!”
---
Peter was having the best time in the hospital ICU. The bland porridge? Absolute gourmet compared to dumpster bread. The bed? Heavenly. He could cry.
He planned to sneak out early before anyone realized he might be a meta. But for now, he wanted sleep.
Then the curtain moved.
Peter’s spider-sense didn’t warn him, so he ignored it. Probably a nurse.
Then someone sat down next to him. And touched his hair.
Peter jolted up and slapped the hand away. “What the—?!”
He froze. “...Dad?"
Sitting beside him was a man who looked exactly like his late father. Peter stared, wide-eyed.
“Did I just call Dick Grayson dad? Oh my god. I’m so tired. Just because he looks like my dad doesn’t mean—Wait. He’s not my dad. I don’t even exist here! How can I have a dad?!”
“I’m sorry,” Dick said softly, voice thick with guilt. “I didn’t know. I didn’t know I had a son. But the Bats told me, and I saw you and... I’m sorry I wasn’t there. I’m so sorry.”
Tears slipped down his cheeks.
Peter blinked. Then moved forward and hugged him.
“It’s okay,” Peter whispered. “You didn’t know.”
Dick hugged him tightly, his heart breaking and healing all at once. “I’ve got you now.”
Peter pulled back. “Dad… Can we go home? I don’t like hospitals.”
Dick froze, mind spinning. Of course. Hospitals probably reminded him of labs. Of pain.
“Yeah, kid. Let’s go home.”

Some more new details from this article about DA:TV.
Rook loses consciousness at the start of the game:
"There's a giant tear in the sky, with the Veil weakening and demons invading. Players are forced to fight their way to the source with but a detour or two before them. Along the way, they meet a few allies, including the beloved storyteller Varric Tethras and a powerful mage. Together, they push forward and are met with a boss battle against a Pride Demon. From there, things go from bad to worse, the main player character loses consciousness, and the world of Thedas—and its survival—depends upon the player."
Also on the opening: Varric and Harding had tracked Solas to Minrathous. We meet low-level Venatori agents in the bar. If you choose to attack, the notification that pops up about what Varric thinks says that Varric would remember that Rook prefers actions to words. Then,
"Then the sky tore apart and a tear in the Veil, seemingly the size of the Breach, appeared. The Veil grew thin and demons poured into Minrathous, tearing the city apart as the castle tried to shoot them from the sky - damaging the lower city in the process. Solas was nearby then, but the priority was linking up with Harding and finding Neve."
Then, some details on a part that was cut out of the public gameplay video:
"[Neve] informs us that Solas has a hideout beneath a nearby statue, and lo and behold, it is Solas' hideout. He has painted murals around it, magic is used uniquely even by Tevinter standards, and at the end awaits a beautiful Eluvian"
Demon lore:
"This Pride Demon looks very different from others in the franchise. However, Epler was quick to note how Demons are magical manifestations of emotion from the Fade, which means certain triggers could be causing this."
Snippet on CC:
"Many fans were subject to the horror of DA Inquition's special green light, so BioWare made it where players could shuffle through a handful of backgrounds to see how their character looks in different lights. Body sliders for fully customizable bodies, other appearance changes like tattoos, and everything fans would expect from a modern Dragon Age character creator seemed to be there."
A bit of info on what the 3 specs for Rogue entail: Saboteur is trap-focused, Veil Ranger is ranged focused, and Duelist is a movement-focused class which centers a lot on dodges and parries.
Rook always shares a background with 1 of the companions. Makes sense, the backgrounds are Wardens, Crows, Shadow Dragons, Mourn Watch, Veil Jumpers, Lords of Fortune, and that's Davrin, Lucanis, Neve, Emmrich, Bellara, Taash respectively
Rogues can use both their bow and dual-wield daggers in combat, which is a first for the franchise
There are 3 shortcuts for abilities, you can access more though by opening the ability wheel where there is 9 mapping slots
Of the 3 class' special resource bar, rogues' Momentum fills quickest but takes bigger drains when hit

Baldur's Gate 3 Companions Ranked By Physical Strength (not STR)
I see so many people who consider any character with 8 or 10 STR stars to be physically weak and it annoys me because actually STR is only a specific part of what we call 'physical strength,' which also includes parts of DEX and CON (which are also not encompassing of dexterity and constitution) by definition. So, under the cut is a ranking of, in my opinion based on stats, context clues and character traits, the BG3 companions based on their overall physical strength. For arguments sake I am only considering the characters in their 'good' path, so no God Gale, Vampire Ascendent Astarion, etc. I am also considering how much they were likely nerfed by the tadpole. Possible spoilers ahead!!
1. Strongest - Lae'zel

This shouldn't be that shocking, githyanki are as a species built for combat and she has spent her entire life training to be a soldier.
Additionally, not only is she consistently swinging heavy weapons around, as a battle master, she is doing so with a level of precision that requires extra strength in order to manipulate the weapon she is using (fun fact, this is by definition attributed to dexterity rather than raw strength, despite being attributed to the STR stat ingame).
She also has the second highest movement speed of any of the companions, and the largest jump range, especially when considering the psionic jump, though this could be considered more magic than physical strength.
All of this she does while also wearing medium armour.
2. Karlach

Also not shocking, given she is a former soldier of an actual archdevil and built like that.
She's literally part machine, though the instability of her engine can be conditionally considered a limiting factor in her strength as much as a booster.
Only character proficient with war hammers, the heaviest weapon type in the game.
Best endurance (closest trait definition to CON stat, 'constitution' is not really a measurement of any given trait so much as the complete makeup of a person's physical form) of any companion, though in terms of physical strength one could argue this is offset by her not wearing armour.
Additionally, arguably the CON stat can be considered a mixture of physical and mental fortitude, so it is debatable whether this can be entirely attributed to physical strength.
3. Minsc

His STR stat does not match his actual strength at all.
For a start he is a former berserker, which has easily the most raw strength of any class or subclass across the board.
His introduction in this game is literally him prying the jaws of a mimic, which have a STR stat of 17 and CON of 15, open from the inside.
Ranger proficiencies don't cover any particular heavy weapons, but they do include both medium armour and shields. Minsc doesn't have either in his starting gear, but nonetheless has the ability to use them.
Also, just look at him. Man is bricked.
4. Astarion

Controversial given the 8 in STR, but realistically Astarion has to be pretty damn strong by nature, just in a different way to the others near the top of this list.
The skillset of a rogue can be compared to the physicality of acrobatics, gymnastics, calisthenics, etc. and let me tell you, that shit requires an insane amount of strength.
He was also likely the most nerfed of any of the companions in terms of physical attributes by the tadpole. All of the other spawn, and also vampire spawn according to 5e, have 16s in STR, DEX, and CON. Without the tadpole, and considering his 17 in DEX, it could well be that he was the strongest of the spawn to boot.
Additionally, it is mentioned a couple times ingame (and in 5e) that spawn can become full vampires by killing their master. Obviously this doesn't happen ingame, most likely just because it would cause balance issues, but as far as I know in the epilogue he is not explicitly referred to as a spawn, so it could be argued that the tadpole may have just supressed this evolution and therefore doesn't happen until the postgame. If this were the case, the baseline for his physical strength stats would be 18 in STR, DEX and CON, though as vampires are inherently magical and these stats are considered supernatural even in-universe, it is debateable how much these stats could attributed to actual physical strength.
5. Halsin

Halsin has one of the wildest changes in stats between NPC and companion, with his STR stat going from 20 in the Shattered Sanctum, to 16 after escaping, and then all the way down to 10 as a companion. Again, it's a balancing thing for gameplay, and because the stats otherwise would have been impractical for a druid, but cutting it by literally half is actually insane.
Again, I am treating his NPC stats as his 'canon' stats, given that a good amount of his character is that he is unnaturally large and strong (and hairy, though that's not really relevant) for an elf, to the point that a good portion of people actually headcanon that he is a bear that can turn into an elf and not vice versa.
Having said this, his dexterity isn't amazing and outside of wildshape, which I am again not considering as it is magic, his physical combat is mediocre without magic.
Interestingly, he at some point won an arm wrestle against Minsc, who I have put higher, though Minsc considered it to be cheating as he turned into a bear. As I see it, he wouldn't have turned into a bear to win unless he was either losing, or they were evenly matched enough that he was putting so much effort in he lost control. Either way, from this I would consider Halsin to be on par at most with Minsc, and this is also only one area of strength.
6. Jaheira

Jaheira's companion stats are nerfed from her NPC stats due to balancing, but interestingly this also changes her main stat. To me, her NPC stats are her 'canon' stats, but I do this the companion stats can also provide some insight into her overall constitution.
As a companion, Jaheira's main stat is a 17 in WIS, but as an NPC it is a 17 in CON, followed by a 16 in WIS. This backs up what I mentioned earlier about CON being partially mental fortitude as well as physical endurance.
Another weird change, as a companion Jaheria has a 10 in STR and a 14 in DEX, yet as an NPC her stats are again reversed in magnitude, with 15 STR and 14 DEX. There isn't really much to say about the order of these, but the high values in these stats just highlights that outside her generic druid build as a companion, Jaheira his very much a formidable warrior.
Having said this, as High Harper her job it likely 90% admin, diplomacy and telling people what to do rather than actual fighting and missions, with the exception of big stuff like the Cult of the Absolute.
Additionally, though in 5e there is some debate about half-elf lifespans, in the Baldur's Gate universe at least she is very much in the final decades of her life, and by her own admission past her prime. Even being the strong soldier that she is, at that age I can't imagine her stamina being quite as good as it may have been.
7. Minthara

Another NPC that gets nerfed when they become a companion, though the changes here are significantly less to write home about.
She's decently strong in all three relevant stats, though none of them are her main focus. DEX and CON both have their high values sacrificed when she becomes a companion.
She's also the only companion that has proficiency in heavy armour by default.
Having said this, she's not particularly heavily built, her background is in nobility rather than any sort of combat or athleticism, and a good portion of Paladins' power comes from their attacks being enhanced by spells rather than raw strength.
8. Shadowheart

We're getting to the companions that there really isn't much to talk about for.
She has decent relevant stats, as well as proficiency in both medium armour and shields, in addition to maces and morningstars, which are usually some of the heaviest one-handed weapons.
As a trickery domain cleric of Shar, she has trained in combat to a degree, and is by no means weak.
Having said that, she is small and lean and, most importantly, not a class that particularly has a need for a large amount of physical strength in pretty much any capacity.
9. Wyll

Wyll is the only character whose NPC stats are actually worse than his companion stats. Seriously, if this guy is supposed to be a hero and monster hunter already at the start of the game, why is he so weak?? That might be a bit harsh, he was probably also nerfed by the tadpole. Probably.
During the time of the game, pretty much the only thing going in his favour in terms of physical strength is his proficiency in shields, as his weapons of choice outside of spellcasting are also all lightweight weapons that, though obviously do have an element of strength to them, are generally more about skill and precision. Don't get me wrong, he is a skilled fighter, but strong he is not.
As the Blade of Avernus, if his pact is broken he is impied to become a ranger post-game, and archery, especially good archery, takes a good amount of strength, so he must have at least decent strength by the end of the game, even if his stats don't really change.
10. Weakest - Gale
The wizard? Squishy? Shocker.
Unlike Wyll and Astarion, I think his 8 in STR is more than justified, given he's a spellcaster with limited proficiencies and doesn't wear armour. He also has terrible movement speed, and has no physical endurance to speak of.
In terms of weapons, he is pretty much entirely limited to quarterstaves, which admittedly be quite heavy. Anyone can throw a big stick around, but to do so accurately... yeah, he can't really do that either.
I like to think the only reason he's physically built the way he is, is because of unhealthy weight loss caused by the orb, rather than any sort of actual muscle mass.

Bell's Hells gets compared to the Mighty Nein a lot, both in terms of narrative and party comp, but honestly, I think it makes more sense to compare them to Vox Machina. Back in Campaign 1, the deck was stacked against VM for several reasons in succession: the players had to port over from Pathfinder and learn 5e; Beastmaster Ranger sucks absolute ass; their cleric left in the middle of the campaign and was only available sporadically; and then their sorcerer left permanently. But they were able to build their characters to compensate! Scanlan took on the burden of arcane casting, and he, Keyleth, Vex, and later Vax all pulled their weight as healers. Keyleth was a Circle of the Moon druid, which is just a great subclass, and Percy not only had a great build but also took an ASI to give the party a higher INT score to better help with nerd shit. Vex multiclassed to play to more of her strengths when it became clear ranger wasn't going to do much more for her, and Vax's multiclass to paladin made for a formidable combination. It might have been nice if they'd had a wizard or if Pike had been available more often, but they still managed to find ways to work around it, and ultimately Vox Machina is still a really powerful and effective party.
Bell's Hells just...aren't doing any of that. Their party comp is ultimately just the sum of its parts, and not a particularly impressive one. They have a druid and two sorcerers and yet nobody has Teleport or Transport Via Plants (the Staff of Dark Odyssey needs charges and inflicts damage on the user for each charge expended). It was clear from early on that this campaign was going to have a lot of intrigue and conspiracy, but none of the characters had any reason to be invested in the worldbuilding or politics, so instead the party just followed breadcrumbs from lore dump to lore dump. Chetney didn't even get Grim Psychometry until level 10, and neither that nor Orym's knowledge of (mostly Vox Machina's) history were enough to make up for the fact that neither character had a real connection to what they were learning to give any of it real weight, and nobody else tried to make up the difference. Fearne and Laudna's multiclasses are both mechanically kind of a mess—it's not that they're not useful, it's that they're really not getting the kind of use out of their levels that they should be. (Is uncanny dodge worth being level 15 and not having any higher-level druid spells? Is it worth being a mostly-sorcerer multiclass when there's already a full sorcerer in the party?)
It's not that Bell's Hells can't accomplish anything; they very obviously can. It's that the players are making the kinds of choices that they were pretty deftly able to avoid ten years ago with fewer resources and years of experience than they have now, and it makes most of what the Hells do feel pretty designated and phoned-in at the end of the day. And frankly we saw that in last night's episode—they mostly just stumbled into their current party comp, and they mostly just stumbled into one of the dumbest decisions any CR party has ever made.

so i just got to the scene where gale says that he'd like to introduce his LI to tara with a homecooked meal and the bladeweave brainrot is bad rn because i just know Wyll Fucking Ravengard would take that shit so seriously. he shows up to gale's tower armed with 5 different types of tressym-friendly wine (if ranger he knows what qualifies because he's a ranger, if warlock he knows what qualifies because he kept pestering mizora for the knowledge and wouldn't take no for an answer). each of them has a different flavor profile so he can maximize his chances of getting something tara would like. he's wearing his best suit, i'm talking wedding levels of fancy here, and gale is in his dumb little robes with his dumb little apron fully intending for this to be a homey low profile event but no such thing when Wyll Fucking Ravengard is on a mission to impress his beloved and his loved ones and his pet. that 17 rizz has never been put to use harder than it was when he introduced himself to "gale's best friend, the one who made sure he was still cherished and beloved before I had the honor to meet him. from the bottom of my heart, thank you. and might i say you look lovely this evening". he's at his absolute smoothest while talking with this fucking winged cat and no one will convince me otherwise. inside he's sweating and tara can literally smell his fear but that only makes her like him more because she knows it means wyll 1- loves gale, and 2- understands the depth of the bond the two of them share. this post started out funny but genuinely wyll canonically loves animals and you know whatever's important to you is automatically important to him and gale's... unconventional attachment to tara probably got him raised eyebrows more than once but wyll doesn't even consider not seeing this cat as a fully fledged individual who's extremely important to both of them. him thanking her for taking care of gale is wholeheartedly genuine. he is probably the first non-gale human she's liked since elminster and he is exactly as proud of that achievement as gale had hoped
#all of that is to say. i like them a normal amount#bg3#baldur's gate 3#baldurs gate 3#wyll ravengard#gale dekarios#bladeweave#tara the tressym#tara bg3#mine

Aragorn x fem reader
Summary: you're restless one night and Aragorn notices while he's on watch
A.N. FIRST ARAGORN FIC!!!!1 i watched lotr and the hobbit a couple days ago for the first time so BELIEVE ME this is the beginning of a new era of fics.
Attempting to sleep after experiencing the mines of Moria was something you struggled with immensely. Every time you let your eyes fall closed, you are greeted by an orc behind your lids. No amount of rolling around or shuffling could calm your deeply disturbed spirit.
If I were to stay up all night but have a good breakfast in the morning, would that be enough energy to last me the day? you wondered. It probably would not, honestly, but you were looking into any possible substitute to actual sleep. The moon had risen not too long ago. There were still many hours until and dawn, and that meant many more hours to be awake while also miserable.
Being so deep in your thoughts, you did not notice the night watchman whose eye you caught. Aragorn made his way over to you, silent as always. You only opened your eyes when you noticed the slight weight difference in the environment around you. "You're restless," he said softly.
You sit up to meet his eye level. "I can not lie down and be at peace with what I witnessed today." He sighed and nodded his head.
The ranger took your hand in his and squeezed gently. "This quest is surely one of disturbing actions. But you would not have been permitted to partake in such an affair if they did not see you strong as enough."
"I do appreciate their consideration. That I am viewed so highly, but I can not deny the truth that I am scared, Aragorn." Your voice was weak and frail.
He placed a kiss upon your knuckles. "We all are, my lady. Even Gimli, though he would die before he admits it." He took in a deep breath before saying, "but to admit ones fear takes so much courage. Courage that you bestow in its truest form. Don't doubt your talents. The road we travel to is a long one but you have everything within you to withstand it." The ranger leaned in a place a kiss to your forehead. "Try to sleep again. There's still much time before dawn."
You laid back down on your bedroll with a now settled mind. "Thank you," you squeezed his hand this time, and he responded with a small smile and bowed his head. You let yourself ease into a sleeping state as he left to continue his watch. Finally, at ease.

Warning(s): depictions of violence, no use of yn
Summary: A new ranger has made an appearance catching everyone completely off guard, and the awful thing? They're working with the nighlock.
Author note: I started watching power rangers samurai again and i rediscovered a first love. Sadly, there's not enough fanfictions out there for Jayden, so i decided to just write one myself. I don't know if the fandom is still alive, but if you are, enjoy!!
Reblogs are highly appreciated!

Part 1 | Part 2
Octoroo leaned his head over the side of the boat, his gaze concentrated on the calm seas below him. His head hung low as the image of Master Xandred's outburst flashed through his mind, the anger they would endure if he found out that the water levels in the sanzu river were slowly declining.
He hurriedly turned on his heels and treaded back into the interior space of the very large ship. Shifting his gaze to his Master's door, he breathed a sigh of relief when he discovered that it was still closed, light snoring penetrating through the door.
"This is not good. This is not good at all. If Master Xandred sees the river, there's no telling what he would do." He began pacing back and forth, his teeth gnawing at the tough skin on his nails.
With her back still turned toward the nighlok, she continued to stroke her musical instrument, her ears conjuring all the possible melodies she could play, but ultimately decided against it because of the sleeping Master. It had been some what peaceful without his presence, but peace was a luxurious commodity on this boat.
"Octoroo, can you please do that more quietly. With your loud footsteps, you're just begging for him to wake up."
He stopped at once, not wanting her words to manifest into reality.
The octopus stood still, in complete silence for a moment as he remembered all the plans he had conjured up and hidden away in his arsenal throughout all his years. He raised his pointer finger, a large smirk forming on his face. Yes. This plan would definitely work.
"I have one final trick up my sleeve, one for sure to get the river rising before Master Xandred wakes."
Walking to the other end of the boat, he grabbed his staff which he had left propped up against the wall before he had gone out to inspect the river.
"Oh, do share with the rest of us. I'm curious how you're going to mess this one up." She finally turned to face him
"I have–" He walked closer to her, and after looking around for any prying eyes and ears, he cupped his hand beside his mouth and whispered in her ear. "A ranger."
She snickered. Whatever he had told her, she wasn't buying into it. "What? Which ranger?"
"Orange."
She rolled her eyes as she turned her back on him once again, losing all interest in his plan. As far as she knew, no such color existed.
"Orange? Now I know you're lying. There's no orange ranger."
"It's true. It's true. The orange ranger lies dormant, and when they wake, I will use them to fill the sanzu river. Ooh ah ooh! It's the perfect plan!"
"Does Master Xandred know that you have a ranger captive?"
"Oh no no no. He can never find out. Hiding a ranger from him all these years? There's no telling what he would do to me then. You too, because you know about it now."
"Then I'm coming with you. This is something I need to see with my very own eyes."
"Me too! Me too! Don't forget about me!" A nighlok chanted as he hauled himself into the ship. This nighlok was just like all the others, except that the exterior of his body was covered in arrows. The shaft was a dark shade of black while the points were hearts tinted a shade of dark imperial blue with a slight gap that divided the hearts into two parts.
His head mimicked the shape of clouds in the sky with another one of his arrows piercing through it, the end coming out the other side.
"Puppet master? Ooh ah ooh!" Octoroo's eyes darkened and the corners of his mouth lifted. "Just the right nighlok to get the job done." His plan was coming together just nicely.
⋆˚✿˖° 𐙚 ₊ ⊹ ♡
Screams filled the streets as people ran off to avoid the wrath of the moogers. They tripped, stumbled, and clumsily picked themselves up to run far away to safety.
The figure jumped before the monsters, creating a barrier between them and the civilians. That had been enough to stop them from advancing forward. Their reign of terror on the innocent was over, and all you needed to do was take them all out, and then everything would go back to normal.
When people saw the hero, they stopped and sighed in relief that their savior had arrived. They cheered and hollered having peace of mind in knowing that the evil monsters would be defeated. Some even took out their phones to take pictures and videos to share later.
The moogers stopped and looked at each other in confusion. They hadn't seen this color before. After a short moment of contemplation, they came to a mutual agreement that you were dressed like the enemy, therefore, you were just like the other pesky rangers.
You assumed your fighting stance. Your samurai sword had long been drawn, aimed at the disgruntled moogers.
They engaged their defensive stance and charged to the ranger. The ranger tightened the grip on the hilt of their sword and ran towards the enemy, swinging their weapon every which way. Sparks flew as each swing landed blow after blow with great precision, bringing them to their knees, and defeating them.
An explosion went off in the background as you assumed your final stance.
Victory was yours!
Dayu and Octoroo watched the scene from the comfort of a nearby rooftop, the female nighlok shaking her head at the disappointing performance.
"What was the point of this battle? I don't understand how killing off our own will help with this plan of yours."
"Oh, just...wait for it." The octopus responded in a sing-songy way, delighted that his plan was coming along nicely. Dayu frowned, frustrated that he refused to tell her his plan in its entirety, however, she continued watching the figure dressed in orange intently.
With your sword still clutched in your hand, you made your way to the area where the civilians had found refuge, and when they saw you, they scrambled out of their hiding places and cheered as you walked toward them.
CLINK!
The crowd gasped as their attention turned to where your sword struck. With his phone now shattered on the floor, and a hand placed over his racing heart, he turned his head slightly to the right where he saw the weapon punctured into the wall, narrowly missing his head.
It was quiet for a time, the people wondering if what happened was truly a mistake or purely intentional, but that didn't matter when a young girl ran off screaming which created a domino effect and everyone just ran away from you for safety.
Octoroo cackled, knowing that the sanzu river had risen quite a lot, and what was to come would only raise even further.
You strolled casually to where your sword remained, and shimmied it out from the wall. After assessing it for any damages and being satisfied that there were none, you sheathed it and got ready to leave to your hideout.
The samurai ranger team finally appeared, donned head to toe in their respective color attire. They had their weapons ready to slash any nighlock, but as they arrived at the location, it was empty. There hadn't been any people or nighlok running about.
"Where are all the nighlok?" Mike was the first to speak up, breaking the eerily quiet atmosphere.
"Keep looking. The sensors definitely picked something up from around here. It can't be too far." Jayden spoke up, scanning the area for any trouble.
"Sounds good!" Emily folded her hand into a fist, before her and Mia wandered off to another area.
"I'll go this way." Kevin quickly ran off in the opposite direction with Mike running after him, yelling that he would go with him.
Jayden was now standing all alone in the same spot as he arrived. There were a million scenarios going through his head about the foe they would face. Was the monster invisible? Was teleportation the reason why they're no longer here? Did they trip this sensor only to commit their nefarious deeds somewhere else?
No. No. Mentor would have let him know if that was the case.
With his sword tightly gripped in his hands, he slowly advanced forward, looking every which way to catch the threat before it made a move on him.
Maybe the sensor just malfunctioned today. That was just way too many possibilities and not enough to give him the answers he desperately needed.
The other rangers scanned the area, and upon discovering nothing amiss, they decided to return back to where they had left Jayden.
They could sense that something was wrong, but what?
"Did you guys find anything?" Mia responded to Kevin by shaking her head in disappointment.
"No. You?" Emily moved closer.
"Nothing."
"What about Jayden?"
"Well, let's go and find out."
They quickly rushed back to their leader.
⋆˚✿˖° 𐙚 ₊ ⊹ ♡
You peeked your head around the corner, and there he was. The red ranger, completely by his lonesome. Now was the perfect time to attack.
You stepped out from your hiding place to the middle of the road, your sword still tucked away in its holder. Jayden quickly turned around, his own directed toward you.
His breath hitched as he took in your attire.
"Ooh ah ooh! This is getting very interesting." Octoroo muttered to himself, rubbing his hands together in satisfaction.
His eyes widened underneath his mask, his breath caught in his throat. "This...this can't be–"
You drew your weapon, aiming it in his direction. Without giving him a second to catch his breath, you attacked him with full force, pushing him back with each slash of your sword.
His brain was running a million miles a minute. With that and the added pressure he was enduring, he found it more and more difficult to concentrate. You were making it more difficult to concentrate, that is, if it was really you.
Where had you been all these years? Why were you even fighting with him? Just what on earth was going on?
You were going at him hard, constantly pushing him back with each attack. He grunted as he finally put some distance in between the both of you, his hand clutched his side as he took a moment to catch his breath.
"Jayden!" Emily shouted out as they ran to his side, helping pick him back up.
Mike turned toward the assailant, frowing when he saw the ranger attire in an entirely new color, one they had never seen before. "Who is that?"
"There's an orange ranger?" Mia's voice hitched in suprise.
"Now that's new." The yellow ranger's voice trailed off.
After skulking for a while, both Dayu and Octoroo decided to intervene, jumping in between you and the rest of the rangers. The rangers immediately assumed their fighting position, shielding Jayden from the enemy.
Jayden grunted as he picked himself up. He was weak, but he had enough strength to fight alongside his teammates.
"This was fun for a little while, but now it's getting boring." Dayu placed a hand over her mouth to cover her fake yawn, while the octopus nodded in agreement.
"We'll just claim what's ours and be out of your hair." He turned to face you and beckoned you with his hand. "Come." You walked over, put your hand in his, and as fast as you appeared, you were gone.
"What...just happened?" Kevin's voice trailed off as they stared in the direction where you had been.
⋆˚✿˖° 𐙚 ₊ ⊹ ♡
The battle was over and the rangers joined each other in the living room, ready to discuss the events that took place earlier. Too shaken up, the rangers sat down on the sofa, afraid that their legs might give way if they remained standing. The silence was broken only by the faint sounds of a bokken colliding with the training dummy outside.
As soon as they returned to the Shiba house, Jayden wasted no time and sped of his room to change into his training garb.
He had been quiet on the journey back. The others were hesitant to talk about the incident, noticing how his eyebrows were furrowed, his jaw clenched and his fingers curled up tightly.
This was a whole other side to their leader that they didn't even know existed. Sure, he had been upset only a handful of times, but the air usually did not feel this heavy. Why was he so upset? Considering that the others were just a little worried about one of them working with the enemy, but maybe there was a different reason...
Either way, it was not the right time to coax the answers from him. But, not only had Jayden been acting strange, but the older man as well. As soon as they reported their findings back to him, his face dropped before he lost his baalnce and landed on the couch.
For the first time since they had begun living in the Shiba house, they hadn't seen Mentor this lost for words. He sat in silence, twiddling his thumbs while his gaze avoided everyone else's.
"There's an orange ranger? How is this possible?" Emily broke the silence before looking in Kevin's direction.
He sighed, folding his arms across his chest. "There isn't any information about the orange ranger in the archives. Otherwise, I would've known about it."
"How could they be working with the nighlok? It goes against everything we're fighting for." Mike clenched his fist tightly.
"Can we even still call them a samurai ranger?"
"Well, whatever's going on, we need answers."
"Mentor?" Mia turned to the man. "You've been awfully quiet. Is everything okay?"
Mike rose to his feet. "You know something...don't you?"
Ji's finally gained the courage to look at each of his pupils faces. Sooner or later, they would have known about you. He just didnt expect that the day would come so soon.
"There's a reason why the orange ranger isn't mentioned in the archives," he finally gained enough courage to meet his students' eyes.
"When the first rangers acquired the powers of the samurai ranger, they all joined each other in battle. It was a really difficult time for all of them, especially considering that they were thrust into war with no formal training. All the rangers understood that they had to use their powers to defeat the nighlok, but the orange ranger did not want that responsibility–"
⋆˚✿˖° 𐙚 ₊ ⊹ ♡
Beads of sweat trailed down his face as he swung at the dummy over and over again, without an end in sight. His grip on the hilt was slowly loosening, but he fought even harder to keep it secured.
For the first time in a long time, Jayden had no idea how he was going to handle this situation. His team was inside the house trying to come up with their next course of action, but he simply could not bring himself to sit there and relive his past.
The memories he had of you were still fresh in his mind. The day you two met, all the days the both of you spent on your training...the day you disappeared.
The guilt was eating him up alive. What if he hadn't left you that day? What if he caught you as you snuck out? Would you have returned along with him? Would the both of you have continued training together like nothing happened? Would you have loved meeting the other rangers? Would the both of you continued to be as happy together before everything had happened?
The day you disappeared was the hardest for him, and for months after that, he couldn't eat, sleep or train like he used to. It just...didn't feel the same without you.
⋆˚✿˖° 𐙚 ₊ ⊹ ♡
3 YEARS AGO - The night of your disappearance
You stood in the foyer with your arms folded across your chest, foot rhythmically tapping on the wooden floors. What were they discussing that was taking them so long? An innocent life was at risk so surely whatever was keeping them could wait until later.
Noticing your distressed demeanor, Jayden walked closer to you and gently unfolded your arms, sliding his hand into yours and giving it a tight squeeze. That was his way of telling you that everything would be okay. They would bring her back safely.
Hushed whispers could be heard at the other end of the room as Mentor and your older brother engaged in a heated discussion. You could hear bits and pieces, but not enough to gauge the entire story.
All you had known at that moment was that a few hours ago, a horde of moogers had broken into your home, and kidnapped your mother. Your father had been home at the time as well, but due to the injury he had sustained the last time he fought them, they easily overpowered him. He quickly called the Shiba house soon after and that's where you were.
Your brother quickly walked past Mentor, his hand reaching for the morpher in his pocket. The man quickly followed after him.
"Wait! You can't just go after them. We have to come up with a plan–"
Your brother stopped in his tracks, and turned to face him. "And how long do you think that will take, Mentor? Every single minute we spend not doing anything, they could be doing something horrible to her. She could be dead, Ji."
He moved around Ji and broke out into jog to the front door. You and Jayden turned to look at each other, worry plastered all over your faces.
"Cyan? Where are you going?" You ran up to him, your heart pounding in your chest.
"To do what's right." Your older brother turned to you one last time and gave you a sad smile. He dashed out of the door and as he ran, he transformed into his samurai suit.
You turned to Jayden, tears brimming in your eyes. "What are we going to do? We can't just let him go alone."
"We have no choice. The blue, yellow, pink and green rangers are close, but, I don't think they'll make it to him in time."
You stormed off to your room, Jayden following closely behind.
"I don't know why we can't do anything. We've been training for this." Your voice wavered as you buried your face in your pillow. Jayden sat on the other side of your bed, rubbing circles on your back.
"I'm frustrated too, but we have to trust that your brother will bring her back." You moved to sit upright crossing one legs over the other. Aggressively, you tried wiping away the tears, but the more you wiped them, the more fell.
"It's not that I don't trust him, it's just...he's not been training like he used to. He doesn't want to be a samurai ranger anymore. He wants to go to college and live the life he couldn't because of all this." He cupped your cheeks, wiping away whatever streaks of water he could.
"Do you..." He stopped himself, slightly biting the inside of his cheek. "Do you wish you had a normal life too?"
You nodded your head.
"I do..." Jayden didn't let it show, but your words made his heart hurt, but you knew better. You placed a hand on top of his hand, guiding him to look back at you.
"That's how I felt when I first came here." You paused.
"Jayden, my father gave me a choice and I can't imagine doing anything else–being anywhere else. I'm happy with the life I'm living right now. Training with you, cleaning up after breakfast–everything. All of this will be worth it when we defeat Master Xandred. As long as we do it together, right?"
He nodded contently.
"I'll bring the tissue box." He smiled widely before walking out of the room.
You shrunk into yourself, your head propped up against your knees.
Will he be okay fighting all alone?
The thoughts consumed you as all the scenarios you conjured up didn't have a happy ending. What if the other rangers don't make it in time? What if...he doesn't come back home?
The possibilities were weighing down on you. What was the point of training if you were just going to stand on the sidelines and let other people fight your battles?
You made a beeline for the window, quietly unlocking it before stepping through. Turning to the house one last time, you could see Jayden walking into the hallway from the kitchen with a couple of boxes in hand. He always went overboard when he tried to help you.
The corners of your lips tugged up, but the smile didn't quite reach your eyes. It was comforting to imagine all the ways he would scold you for defying the Mentor's orders, only because you ended up making your way back home again. Safe, maybe a few scratches here and there...but you would be home.
"I'm sorry, Jay." You mumbled under your breath, before sprinting out through the gates. It was up to you now to make sure your mom and brother got home safely, no matter what happens.

LADS x Dungeon Master!mc/Reader
Talking to @deepspacenova about Caleb and D&D is giving me some thoughts.
Zayne would probably play a Cleric because he's the only one who thought about the fact that the party needs a healer or they'd tpk at Level 1 or 2. Stickler for the rules. So much so that he often forgets that half of D&D is roleplaying and improv. Always solves the puzzles without needing to roll for it, which leads you to personally challenging yourself to try to stump him; has not happened yet though.
Sylus settles for Warlock when you tell him he can't be a Patron, but when he realizes that you, as the DM, will be playing the role of his Patron he's all about it. In fact, he is one of those Warlock players who is trying to romance his patron but it's only so he can shamelessly flirt with you throughout session. Multi-classes as an Assassin Rogue for Sneak Attack damage. With his tech background, created a detailed soundboard with a ton of sound effects for you to use during session.
I think Rafayel would be a Wild Magic Sorcerer. He, himself, is a tide of chaos and I think he would love the random magical effects, especially when they hit the party. Could also see him as a Bard. Basically any of the classes that could cause chaos in the group. He and Sylus often team up and railroad the party's plans, whether intentionally or not but party troubles always stem from the two of them. Constantly complains that he's not high enough in the initiative order but rains down area effect spells and does a butt load of damage.
Xavier has Paladin written all over him though ultimately I think he could potentially end up being an Oathbreaker. But the combination of being a fighter class with some heavy radiant damage seems right up his alley. Unfortunately, he misses half of what's going on because he keeps dozing off during session. Don't rely on him to help solve puzzles or progress storyline because he's so lost.
Caleb does his best to make the game as easy for you as possible. Considers himself the DM's assistant. He always makes sure there are plenty of snacks and drinks when the two of you host session nights. Unofficial party leader because he's the only one who seems to stay on track mission-wise. Nova mentioned that he would be a great Artificer and I agree! I think he would also be a great Ranger or Druid. But I think at the end of the day he would be one of those players who typically just fills in the gaps for whatever class the party is in need of. He's just happy to be here with you and doing normal things together again, even if it means sharing your time with your other boyfriends.

My kids have been begging to play D&D. Even though I only actually played about 10 hours total 25 years ago, how can I say no? I’ve listened to lots of Critical Role so I’m sure it’ll go great.
10 is a wood elf ranger named E. E. P. Y. No one is sure what those initials stand for, perhaps not even E. E. P. Y. himself. He’s sworn to get revenge on Quad Quadron and the Quadron Squadron, the orcs who attacked his settlement.

7 is a dragonborn who changed his Wizard School major from divination to necromancy without telling his parents. Now they’ve sent him out to restore the family’s honor and fortune.

To fill out the party, I am both DM and a tiefling cleric of Selûne who’s actually accidentally a Fey Patron warlock. (I know, I first saw it here on the ‘blur too.) She was kicked out of the temple for heresy and intends to find something to prove that she’s right. Also she’s 17 years old and just the cutest thing. Look at her bangs!

Here are some highlights from our first session this weekend. It involved gathering the party, a short shopping trip, and one (1) encounter. It took us five (5) hours.
When the Warlock arrived at the tavern, the Ranger (CHA 8) stared deeply into her eyes, right to her very soul, and said, “Welcome,” in the deepest gravelliest voice 10 can muster. Then he turned back to the bar and did not speak again.
The Wizard bought a bottle of wine & went to his room. Did not specify if he drank it or just… has it.
The Warlock tried to order ale, but got carded and rolled a nat1 on deception. The Ranger offered to share his ale. She declined.
Note: I had not saved any alcohol effects info when preparing my resources, thinking there was no need, since my players are literally in elementary school. I was wrong. The Ranger wanted to do shots.
Our encounter was with a Green Hag. I managed to avoid a TPK through having the hag do anything but melee attacks, not knowing the bonus action rules and just letting the PCs do any two actions per turn, and maybe accidentally subtracting the same damage twice.
After his first arrow didn’t hit, the Ranger turned to fire. He doused the hag’s robes in lamp oil and set it on fire, and later improvised a Molotov cocktail. (Yes, he’s currently watching The Good Place.)
The Wizard was taken to zero HP with two hits. After that 7 got bored and left the table except to come make his death saving rolls. He has False Life and Shield in his spell list, but we forgot about that.
The Ranger stabilized the Wizard, then looted his pockets and took all his gold. A brotherly screaming match ensued when 7 found out. The Wizard is still unconscious.
Everyone leveled up. They can’t wait to play again. 10 is trying to recruit his friend down the street to join us.

Octonauts AU-All together now!
Basically this is an AU where all of the octonauts and octo-agents live together in the Reef Base H.Q. The Reef Base H.Q. was shown in episode 21 of season 4-Octonauts: Above and Beyond.
Pt. 1-Quartering
Everyone is split into 6 quartering rooms known as bunkers. The bunkers include four beds and a ten by twelve space between each bed, and each space is separated by a thin, sliding wall. These walls are thin, but insulate about as well as the average wall, because on the RBHQ, the normal walls are about 10 inches thick. In between the walls is about a 3 foot gap for space and ability to leave the bunker, as it makes a hallway in the middle. Each bunker has two bathrooms including showers and toilets, a storage closet, a name, and houses about 4 people. The walls have replaceable tiles, meaning the resident can choose any color wall tiles they want for their corner. The floors are hardwood. Any differences are stated in the bunker's description, and all bunkers are listed below.
---
The Captains' Bunker
Includes:
Capt. Barnacles
C/M Kwazii
2/O Tweak
2/O Dashi
This bunker is designed differently than the others. It's split into two parts-the lower deck, on the same level as all other bunkers, and the upper deck, separated by three stairs. On the lower deck, Tweak sleeps on the left side and Dashi sleeps on the right. On the upper deck, Capt. Barnacles takes the left side and Kwazii takes the right. Barnacles and Kwazii get the upper deck because they have the official titles of Captain (Capt) and First Mate (C/M). Tweak and Dashi have the official titles of Engineer and IT Officer respectively, but they both have the title of Second Mate (2/O), hence why they are in the Captains' Bunker. The bathrooms are more spacious in this bunker.
The Seniors' Bunker
Includes:
Prof. Natquik
Prof. Inkling
RGR Marsh
Pir. Calico Jack
The Seniors' Bunker is missing one bed, and that's because Inkling doesn't sleep in a bed-he prefers a chair. Inkling is in the bottom left corner, Natquik is in the top left corner, Calico Jack is in the top right corner, and Marsh is in the bottom right corner. It's miserable, because since Calico's been alone on conquests for so many years, he's forgotten he snores really fucking loudly. And all three others in the room have sensitive hearing. Exhibit A: Calico Jack: *Peacefully snoring*
Prof. Natquik: "..I'm going to shove a shoe down his throat."
Ranger Marsh: "Please do.."
Prof. Inkling: "Perhaps investing in earplugs would be a better solution?"
Prof. Natquik: “I can’t wear earplugs! I need to hear any possible noise around me."
Prof. Inkling: "You're almost more paranoid than our favorite snorer over there." He points to Calico Jack, who is still blissfully unaware that the people next to him are about to give him a DIY lobotomy.
The Vegimals' Bunker
Includes:
Tunip
Grouber
Barrot
Codish
Halibeet
Sharchini
Tominnow
Pikato
The Vegimals' Bunker does not have slide out walls. They all worked together with Shellington to decorate the walls with a pastel rainbow scheme. This bunker has 8 small beds, and they have two extra bathrooms because they have double the residents. Tunip has caught his siblings multiple times in their shenanigans in the middle of the night, but can’t really stop them all.
The Juniors' Bunker
Includes:
Bud
Koshi
Pinto
Periwinkle
Bud is basically the babysitter for Periwinkle, because Periwinkle is a baby and Bud is the most responsible one in the room, being the oldest. There are two beds in the storage closet of this room for when Ursa and Olson come to the RBHQ. Occasionally, older members come in to take care of/hang out with younger members.
Unnamed Bunkers
these are the two bunkers I couldn’t decide on names for. Help me out guys :(
Bunker 1
Peso
Shellington
Paani
Tracker
Bunker 2
Pearl
Min
Ryla
Selva
I really like this idea, so add onto it freely! Make headcanons, draw comics, have fun!

I have been disappointed with Leverage Redemption since the first episode. It was always so uneven. Its best episodes had part of them that bothered me about the whole show. Two things - there isn't enough drama to balance out the comedy, so it comes across as goofy and Parker. I love the characters, even the new ones. However, for the whole series, they failed on Parker. She was damn near flawless in S5 of the original series. She had grown so much but had enough weirdness, uniqueness, and quirkiness to still be Parker. As a character, she was perfect. Jump ahead to Leverage Redemption - she's loud, over the top, and just too much. When others are in a con act with her, they act over the top to match her freak. In the 1st season, the finale was the best episode until when Parker, Eliot, and Hardison came into the plant dressed as rangers or something. Parker spoke first and was so over the top. Eliot spoke next. He wasn't as over the top as her, but he was more over the top than usual. Hardison was the final speaker, and he toned down Eliot's OTT, but he was still a bit OTT but was more natural. His level of OTT and even Eliot's make it so obvious Parker was extremely OTT and the effect she was having on her partners. She's not as fun. She's abrasive. Maybe if I was exposed to this Parker first, I might not care. But after S5, to see her like this is sad. The 3rd season was better. Not where it should be or back to S5 Parker. She was good in a few episodes this season.
But the finale finally had the drama it's been missing, character development, AND Parker was as close to S5 Parker as she has been all series. Eliot was at peak protective big brother mode as well as being there with Sophie as the person she could bounce ideas and problems off. I was so proud of Harry. I literally cheered him on because he fought back to his attempted assassins. Eliot had to help out, but Harry fought back! Sophie and Breanna were both good. Sophie was back to Mama Bear checking on her cubs but giving Parker enough space to do her thing. Hardison was still amazing, but too little of him.
I hope it gets renewed and they continue to go down this level of drama and comedy. And I pray 🙏 they stick with this Parker. Even if they give her a little more fun and weirdness, she could still be an acceptable level without being over the top.
Side note- Every season, Eliot seems to get one jacket that he always wears. In S3 of original, it was one that Christian wore in public, too (black jacket with white stripes down the sleeves). Beth once wore the dress from The Ice Man Job to Upfronts. Season 1 of Redemption Eliot had that amazing blue leather jacket. I hope Christian snagged that one, too. Lol This season's isn't as good, but I noticed it was the same throughout the season.
