chances of finding a survivor begin to greatly decrease; you stop looking for a person, and you start looking for a body.

deku and kirishima—everyone, really—have been kind enough not to change mission status from rescue to recovery, and katsuki can't tell if that's for better or for worse.

HELLO MY SWEETEST AWEA !!!!!!! 🥹 i’ve been so excited to answer this hehe… i was hoping somebody would ask ….. the teen!sugu -> cult!sugu pipeline is a delicate one because they are obviously different but still the same at their core !! suguru’s love is a very heavy one, regardless of which version we’re talking about — he’s so, so devoted to you. and i think a core difference is that while suguru (<- teen!sugu) tries to hide the depths of his devotion as to not overwhelm you, geto (<- cult!sugu) has no shame LMAO . he couldn’t hide his devotion if he tried. when i say that he loves through worship i really do mean that — worship is heavy, and blatant, and overwhelming. service, on the other hand, is a way for suguru to show his love without having it all spill out at once. they do obviously overlap, and service is a core to suguru’s being (no matter the version) but since his cult leader self is so much more blatant in his love worship suits him better. he wants you to feel every bit of his love. he’s spent too long bottling it up.

… so, basically, when i say suguru loves through service and geto through worship, i mean that his love comes out differently depending on what stage of life he’s in. as his high school self his love is subtle, and shown through acts of service — as a cult leader his love is all too easy to feel and weigh, and he likes to show it through acts of worshipping you, whether it be literal worship at-the-altar-of-your-feet or just acts of service that are very heavy in nature <3 if that makes sense !!! geto is a lot more black/white in the way he treats people, which makes his love for you more overwhelming and affectionate than you’d expect from him. it’s a facet of his transformation that i really really like :3c teen!su is more careful lol

Okay so, since Enoch is (I'm assuming) made of part Error and part Nightmare, does this mean he has some elements of both? The way he crashes similar to Error and can use the blue strings, does he have some kind of relationship with negative and/or positive energy too? :o

How does he feel about physical touch and does it affect his occasional glitches and crashes? When you say he retained some of Error's memories, do you mean memories of his original life before the huge glitching or does have any memories of things Error did in his current state?

Do you think he would ever end up in the omega timeline or would it not interest him? Or would they possibly hesitate to let him in if he has the power to destroy code like Error? ACTUALLY WAIT would Ink know? Like if Ink saw him would he know what happened and who made up the parts of him?? Would Dream have any sort of recognition of him?

(You said after he destroys the au he would end up with either Dream or Nightmare and I wanna ask about that soooo bad but also maybe that's spoilers for the future or you're still planning it so I'll be restrained and won't, but just know I am very patiently vibrating with excitement to hear more about this guy in the future c: )

Hehe SO this is gonna be a long one.

1) Enoch isn't really made from parts of Nightmare and Error. Error lost his arm during the battle and that's what Enoch came from. (Also why Enoch has one arm that looks like Error's cause he literally grew from that.) So he's more of a part of Error that was severed by Nightmare's action. I guess maybe some of his intent could come through but Enoch doesn't have any empathic abilities or any relation to emotion magic. Maybe some of Nightmare's personality shines through but I'd have to figure out what.

2) He's similar to Error in terms of touch (maybe worse), he's never really been touched by anyone ever (in his five years of existence) so it's mostly because of that, more than any relation to Error. He would find physical contact very jarring. I do think he would glitch out pretty badly if he was touched.

3) the reason Enoch doesn't remember his life before the glitch is because he didn't exist yet. What he attributed to amnesia due to the semi destruction of the world was actually just cause he wasn't born yet. He can't have memories of the old Sans of that AU because they are not related in any way. Enoch created that connection through false deductions.

To actually answer your question he has memories from Error's life, as in memories of being Error. Like he would remember the anti-void and the bean bag y'know? Maybe not with conscious awareness or knowledge of what those thing mean or what they represent since they're completely out of context for him. Those memories arehow he figured out that he could use strings. Simply because he remembered using them as Error and it's like it came naturally. (It's only been that way since Enoch had his memories unlocked by being in Error's proximity though, not in his first five years)

3) I think so yeah. The idea I really like is that like, Dream found him after he erased the rest of the AU and he's just like any other refugee to him y'know? So maybe he'd be brought to the OT

4) I don't think the people if the Omega Timeline would know? It's not- well actually it is kinda written all over him, he looks a LOT like Error. Maybe they'd check. It would be devastating if they refused to let Enoch in after all he's been through. After that long in isolation. My god.

5) I don't really know about Ink. I do like to think he'd be intrigued by him, he'd be quick to put two and two together. Or maybe Ink has the ability to see code and recognizes him that way. It'd be really funny for Ink to talk about Error as Enoch's dear old pops or something and Enoch just not understanding who Ink's even talking about (boi has no idea what a father even is) I think they could have fun together. Ink's eccentric demeanor would be very good for helping Enoch to get out of his shell. I can see Ink being kind of entertaining to him rather than abrasive like I see most people write him as. like MANNNN I THINK HE LIKES KIDS Y'KNOW?? he's fun, Enoch would like him, he'd be like a little kid when they smile all timid and shtuff but he's having a good time watching ink bumble about.

5) Dream wouldn't recognize code. He'll probably recognize Enoch as related to Error in some way just because of his appearance. Maybe he'd recognize some of his brother in Enoch though. If we say that Enoch got some personality traits from Nightmare. In the way he talks, or the way he looks at things. Just little quirks that remind him so eerily of Nightmare. ALSO OMG DREAM'S AN UNCLE. IF NIGHTMARE'S LIKE A FATHER. I mean, it's not really being parents but Nightmare and Error are the two directly involved in creating Enoch but like- If you found out one of your actions resulted in the creation of a living being would you not feel somewhat responsible? Uncle Dream propaganda.

6) It can't really be called spoilers. I don't think I want to keep stuff under wraps anymore just cause I like conceptualizing more than making an actual story so... Y'know. But I do have plans. I think some of what I answered already points to possible future dynamics and stuff but for now I haven't thought on it too much so... Feel free to ask if you want and I'll come up with shit as I go. I like bouncing ideas with you, so anything you ask about it will probably not be concrete or final. Just a disclaimer.

I also want to develop the AU Enoch was in a bit more. Just cause I think it could be cool and then I could stop calling it 'the AU' lol.

Hehe hi anon. The answer is yes :3c Only a little bit though, a lot of it gets lost in my brain unfortunately due to my Curse….BUT here's what I've managed to gather.

Don Dream…

So.

We got the basics of, he's spooky creepy quiet when handling in-person business (good for him), he overworks himself to the point of passing out many times (not good for him).

Rat (you're a blessing) helped label Dream under the Cat:™: archetype in this AU which I completely agree and standby. He's cunning and can be deceiving, always calculating and thinking two steps ahead. He has to be, he's got a lot of pressure on his shoulders considering he became Don through takeover and needs to pull a lot of weight to establish himself as /strong/ and /fearsome/. (He def strikes me as big cat tiger vibes if we're gonna specify, though idk cats all that well so that may change, but it feels right)

I think the one thing I never went into too much detail, but have mentioned a few times here and there is Dream's over possessiveness/protectiveness.

This ask where we talk about how Dream can get Mega angry is usually when Dream's protective/possessive nature takes over. It's when he becomes more impulsive.

Dream loves a lot, we know this. So he loves a lot in this AU too. And when you're a crime boss, loving a lot can be a dangerous thing. And that means a lot of different things.

Dream loves his family a lot. He knows they deserved better, /more/. To put it /very/ lightly, he didn't love his Don. (More on that another time!) So he killed him! And then his family grew. And he loved the new members. He had a lot of close allies he cares about too!

Whenever he had in-person business and things got…dicey, Dream will be calm(scary) and get through the negotiations. He's good at that. But he isn't perfect, he isn't always there, people aren't always willing to cooperate, people will act irrationally due to the fear sometimes. It's that irrationality where sometimes Dream's family might get hurt and Dream isn't there to prevent it.

George is sometimes pushed around, he's an odd man out in a lot of the family, not seen very much. Rarely goes out to do any business. He's probably more impulsive than Sapnap though pfft, So! He gets in trouble a bit. Sometimes he does it on purpose. (He likes seeing Dream protect him heh) (I also have more thoughts, not many, on how George functions in the family but thats for later)

Dream has removed a lot of fingers and hands and tongues and who knows what else due to George messing around. Dream doesn't send George out on solo business anymore. Sapnap thinks George just likes the gifts cause he's a freak. (Sapnap sometimes gets jealous too, but he has his own way of getting Dream's attention which I can talk about at another time!)

Of course, this reaction isn't limited to just Sapnap and George being hurt, he will react like this if most any member of his family gets seriously hurt, even lower associates. So Dream loving a lot can lead to people being hurt/maimed/killed. Dream doesn't like seeing his family being hurt. He doesn't mind getting his hands dirty for them at all. It's what he signed up for. He killed to get his family here and he'll keep on killing to keep them here.

And then his family hurts him. And things go to shit! And this is where him loving a lot hurts him instead….

I don't have it fully fleshed out how Dream exactly reacts besides being absolutely distraught. There's a lot of anger too. Not that he shows that publicly.

I've said before that Sapnap is able to get in contact with Q soon after the betrayal and I hadn't mentioned it then, but I did have a vague idea of Dream reacting to Sapnap coming home after that.

Because in my head, Sapnap wasn't allowed out at all. George isn't allowed either. I think Dream acted really irrationally when it came to George and Sapnap, new insecurities popping up. He would kill anyone who George and Sapnap said they had business with. George has a meeting with other members to meet with a group about stolen tech he's trying to buy. Sapnap had a big fight set up, major clubs sponsoring it. They both know that acting like normal business as usual helps show that the family isn't as vulnerable due to the betrayals. Dream doesnt listen. Dream won't let them go. He forbids it. They're staying home. They're not leaving. They can't leave. (what If they don’t come back…)

George is quite insistent, this meeting was set up months ago. The next morning Dream is throwing the head of the guy George was going to negotiate with at his feet. George doesn't speak about leaving anymore.

Dream would lock the two up in his room if he could. But he won't subject them to that. He's not that insane. Haha…..

But then Sapnap is missing. George claims he doesn't know where he went. (Dream knows he helped him though….) And the Sapnap returns later in the dead of night. Dream wants to get angry. He does. Demands where he went. But Sapnap is unresponsive. He just holds Dream tightly and says sorry.

It just proved to Dream that letting them go means they'll get hurt. He doesn't want them out of his sight ever again. But then he's too busy. Rarely gets to spend time with them, despite them never leaving home….

Then the opportunity with Team Mafia presents itself.

And that means Sapnap has to leave. Really, actually, not come back home for a long time /leave/. He hates it. Sapnap is reassuring him the entire time. He swears it. (He knows Sapnap just wants the best for the family to. This will help in the long run. He swears it over and over. And he trusts Sapnap.) Dream barely can hold Sapnap the day before the negotiations with how busy he is setting it all up…

The meeting with ElRich is tense. It's the first time he's done a proper meeting with another Don in a long time. He's a natural at it though. This is an alliance. The exchange of their Capos is just reassurance they won't backstab each other. Dream is definitely getting more out of this deal than them. He knows it'll mean trouble in the future. But he's not worried, not with what he has planned with Sapnap.

(And when he's being kidnapped, the realization that even /Sapnap/ betrayed him. It destroys him. It's not until he's locked in a basement with him, where he learns the love Sapnap experiences is much more different than his. But he's never letting Sapnap leave him again.)

"I...Am fines, Molly..." Eight slurred, her hands struggling to stay still as they titled from side to side over top the weapon she was working on.

"Uh-huh, sure you are." Molly insinuated. "I mean, you look absolutley amazing." They leaned down and picked up the end of one of Eight's tentacle. It's color was a much duller magenta than the rest of it. They let go, and it flopped down past Eight's shoulder.

"Molly...hun, I have to do work...no matter how tireds I am." Eight sighed.

She had been meticulously working to clean out every inch of this weapon for a few days now. It was a special order that needed to be done by next week. It was plenty of time for Eight, but she had put a lot of stress on herself because it was "special".

"Eight, please..." Molly leaned down and wrapped their arms around Eight. "You can work on this tomorrow...that's what you always tell me."

"I knooooow...But I want to work on this..." Eight wined.

"...do you?" Molly questioned.

"...no..." Eight admitted. "But what else am I going to do? I feels...too tired to do anything..."

"Then take a nap, dummy." Molly stated.

"...I am unfamiliar with what that is."

"You...Y-You don't know what a nap is?" Molly queried.

"...Yes. What is it?" Eight asked.

Molly took a second before responding. "Well, it's...it's going to sleep, but not at night. and not for several hours...hopefully..."

They were kind of taken aback by Eight's answer. They doubted that the concept of a nap itself was unfamiliar to her. It was most likely a combination of the inkling word for it and, unfortunately, probably due to never having been allowed one back in the military.

"It sounds inefficient." Eight remarked.

"It's not." Molly stated.

"...still, I am...*yawn*...I have already committed myself to doing this today." Eight said.

"...how about this..." Molly started. They leaned closer to Eight's ear and gently nuzzled the side of her head. "...you take a nap for an hour or two, and then get back to work on this, ok? Somethin' to give you a bit of energy."

"..." Eight silently debated the choice in her head.

"...I'll join you if you want..." Molly suggested.

"...you will nap with me?" Eight inquired.

"Yep...get aaaaaaall nice and cuddled up...be all warm..." Molly whispered as they gently rubbed Eight's forearms. "...I'll let you be the big spoon~..." That was the final tipping point to convince Eight.

"...hehe...ok..." Eight relinquished. She set down the small tools in her hands and took off the goggles around her head, setting them down on the table. As she began to get up, Molly picked her up from her seat, holding her in their arms.

"oh!" Eight gasped. "H-hun...you do not have to be doing this..." Eight smiled.

"Nope. I don't. But I want to." Molly said flatly. They carried their girlfriend over to the bet, and gently set her down. Eight quickly scooted over as Molly climbed in to join her. The 2 of them wrapped around each other, legs tangled together, with Molly resting their head in Eight's chest.

"...this is nice already, right?" Molly inquired.

"...yeah...but...I do not think this will do much about my energy..." Eight forced a smile. In her mind, she was stuck with sleep being only for night. You could only sleep when it was time to sleep. But Molly was willing to break this.

"You'll see. Naps are great. I kinda don't think I'd be hear without them." Molly admitted. "...here, let me help you with falling asleep."

Molly pulled herself up to Eight's face, and began to gently place kisses all over it, and her neck. Eight couldn't help but giggle, and try to return them back. As she did however, she felt her tiredness begin to be replaced by sleepiness. Molly's soft lips gingerly planting warm smooches all over her face was oddly soothing. She felt less worried about her work, a lot more relaxed...she only really cared about the moment she was in...about Molly...

Molly's kisses gradually slowed down, getting more and more gentle as they focused more on Eight's neck. They rubbed their hands along her back and hips, snuggling deeper into her. They eventually stopped, nestling into their lover. Eight's eyes were fluttering, the last remnants of her will to work being melted away by the cuddles. She sighed, and hugged Molly tighter, nuzzling their mantle as she let the feeling of warmth and love wash over her...

Her mind was filled with thoughts of how caring Molly was, how sweet they were, and how cuddly they were being...no thoughts of the deadline, work, or how exhausted she felt...just thoughts of love and comfort...as the 2 of them gently drifted into their nap...

Jean, Andrew, and Neil all give me "if we ignore each other its like we live alone vibes" to the point i might actually forget i have a roommate, especially Neil. Out of the three I think Jean may do the most interacting, but if any of them were mean to me id internalize it forever </3

Jeremy seems like he'd be a more lively outgoing roomie, but he probably brings friends over often. Super nice but a little nosey, but i think I could handle it

Kevin seems like he'd be the biggest complainer roommate wise, as much as I love him i dont think either of us would survive being roomies LMAO

luz calling taco 'maman' is so sweet I am stealing that ty >:3c taco panicking over luz calling mic 'mom' is so funny she is SO afraid to mess anything up but mic is over there bawling her eyes out because this child that she has spent all this time bonding with considers her- her MOM!!!! she is so emotional over it I know mic would get attached to luz pretty quickly, actually I think most residents would get attached to luz pretty quickly despite being taco's child. They are endearing and silly and taco is clearly doing the best she can at raising her yeah? and so far it seems she has been doing a good job! luz being taco's little emotional anchor o whatever the thing is called is so important to me because that woman has spent so many time alone thinking that absolutely everyone hates her guts for then this kid, unaware to all her wrongdoings coming in and being nothing but loving and kind towards her saying nothing but positive things because miss taco! you have taken such good care of me and I am so happy to be by your side! she is happy alright? she is very happy and no she isn't crying. I think luz very easily startles the people at the hotel because the little orb is also very good at sneaking out taco is the only one able to know that they are around or snatch them, mepad too but I imagine mepad also doesn't really notice when luz is sneaking around as much as taco does.

tacomic and the child that was basically the asset (?) to rebuild the bridge of their friendship and eventually catching feelings for one another once more is something I will never stop thinking about, luz is so loud about considering mic as her second mom because well miss taco spends SO much time with her and they are sure she saw them kissing somewhere in the halls, shouldn't that be a confirmation that miss microphone is already their mom- taco shuts them up pretty quickly, not because she is mad, she is just embarassed. Knife will be having a field day teasing them just so you know.

Hehe, they do have opposite reactions at the same time, don't they? Ultimate joy and ultimate fear!! I do think quite a few would get attached to Luz, I mean, they've really never been around a young child before so any and all of the love they would have for a tiny child go to her.

There's everyone Taco has lied to and wronged and then there's this child that she's done her best to care for!! Someone who thinks she's good.

She's learned spying and sneaking from Taco, so it makes sense they'd be good at it!!! And Taco knows all of the tricks so she could catch her easily. Mepad doesn't notice as much but he can play Megalovania and she'll come running to him.

ncjdj Luz loudly talking about seeing Taco and Mic kissing before they've told anyone about their relationship. Luz is so happy their mothers are getting along!!! :D Knife would definitely give them a good ribbing over it.

Idk maybe it seems complicated to me because I'm not an artist, but I was really in awe.

Just for fun I was trying to imagine a similar scenario for the rest of the boys, and realized that by dividing them in two groups between the ones that were born in the first part of the year and the ones born in the middle of the year, you end up with a group that's made of 5 bottoms + Kalim and Ortho. Ortho might need to bring his full arsenal for this... Like a swiss army knife!

Also you’re right, Anon lol For some reason, with Ace/Idia, it feels like Ace would be that cool kohai. Not like he’s super cool or anything, but he’s so confident and chill in social situations, but also sleazy and cunning enough to be on the same wavelengths with Idia. With Idia he also doesn’t get all tsundere somehow and expresses that he finds Idia cool pretty confidently… what is it about Ace and acting cute for his senpais???

How I feel about this character -

she's one of those characters that make me really excited to relisten to the podcast xP i like her a lot! i just feel as if a lot of her flew over my head and she would be really really fun to properly dig into. i should say you too have endeared me so much to her, not in a 'i only like this character because my friend does' way but a 'your love for her and dedication to her Everything has made me really interested in actually breaking her down, also i see her and think OMG MY FRIEND<3' way hehe.

also from a technical standpoint the unknowing episodes are i think one of the first moments that made me think "ohhh this podcast can get wild actually /pos" and for being a comparatively late-game villain around that point she was ONNNN POINT as a terrifying and fun presence. i'd have loved more of her but s3 is already so cluttered (neutral connotations) i'm not sure where you'd make more room for her lol. i like what we got though, and i think in a sense the lack of understanding is what she woulda wanted. awesome villain for the awesomest fear.

i also really like nikola/jane. nikola is in general really interesting to put next to human avatars and see how her... everything... clashes with them. i've definitely had more articulate thoughts on ringworm as a ship but they're not coming to me at the moment i am quite sleepy 😭 but i think they have a lot of cool potential, jane's love being very weird and organic and nikola by design being... not. consuming icky invasive love x something that by design cant be invaded like that. very inch resting :o]

strangers all besties its true! i remember casper at one point saying about nikola and b+h something like that she's the friend you love but doesn't really have it together and that's so funny to me. girl how did you lose the ancient skin. girl

also her and tim can be so intriguing. i didn't put it up top cuz i don't really see a romantic component to it, i think it could be interesting played that way, but i think really anything mushing them together is fun. there's so much baggage there before they even properly get to be face to face and both of them have such loud personalities that it's a recipe for disaster even without explosives involved lol. sometimes whatever you have with the thing that skinned your brother and is the figurehead of the fear that has ruined your life can be so...personal..?

also i just kinda smile to see art of her and john cuz :] we. our guys. does it often involve john being terrified for his life duct taped and oiled and/or potentially unconscious. Yes. Does it still make me smile YES....

My unpopular opinion about this character -

the joseph grimaldi stuff flew over my head but just because it did doesnt mean it was bad or didnt need to be there, i just do not have the cultural context for it to mean that much to me lol. it's a case to me of "the magnus archives in my head" and "the magnus archives in jonny sims' head" not lining up and thats like... fiiine. i don't especially like the historical stuff in tma (i honestly don't see that many people who do much less wrt nikola in particular) but i don't think it's a weakness necessarily it's just for an audience that is not me and, unfortunately does make it harder for me to be fully invested in characters like nikola and elias. i like them lots i just feel like i can't really pick them apart as well as i can other characters. elias goes in the yaoi machine but i don't think i could write his pov convincingly ykwim

what else hmm. my go-to for these answers is responses to popular fanon but i cant exactly throw stones from my glass house of judging people for not knowing how to draw plastic mannequins when i made her more of a um... wooden art dummy type deal that has suspiciously transformers-fanartist shaped features (mostly the hands and neck) XDD

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. -

i'm of two minds that i wish we got more nikola pre-unknowing, then that i care a lot about the sanctity of this show's pacing and the insanely-placed domino tower that is season 3 in particular and wouldn't want much to change necessarily, and then of the third mind that i can't really make that call either way because my memory of s3 is pretty fuzzy by now lol. i mostly return to s3 for georgie episodes (predictable)

LOVE !!!!! angel devil biblical stuff and oh my GOD YEAHAHHHHH!!!!! and just.....the fact that he is so beautiful, so radiant, in spite of (or perhaps even...because of?) his injuries, the result of violence. that something so holy can still be perfect even after damage, after being hurt, after pain and bruising and bleeding. AAAHH

healing healing HEALING!!!!! fixing him up after a fight....it makes me wonder too like.....was anyone there for him in canon??? like do you think if he had someone to help him, to bandage his wounds and rub his back and wipe the blood from his face, would things have turned out differently??? i love the way you explored it here bc like yes he is a boxer, yes he still fights but he doesn't do it for the sake of violence or bc he feels hurt (i think...???), because he doesnt have to, because he has someone there to help heal him afterwards

just.....the peace of this. i loved it. it felt so safe, so comfortable. him not wanting you to worry. the worry still being there all the same. his resistance to being taken care of, and yet letting you do it anyways. the love spilled through the cracks of their words and it's growing in the spaces between the lines and just AAHH

and obv that goes hand in hand with the healing theme!!!!!!! healing only comes after pain and both are precious in a sense …… for the record i DO think suguru could have been saved if someone had been there for him :’) this is just my own take but i think the only way to save him would’ve been to combat the isolation he felt ……… BUT ENOUGH ABT THAT no pain allowed in this au !!!!!!!! and yes hehe, boxer!sugu doesn’t fight for the sake of fighting — in my mind it’s more like …. he’s naturally really big and strong, so why not use it for something? to provide for you, or to find his footing in that kind of profession, the ups and downs…… i think controlled violence is probably . precious? in his eyes?? not exactlyyy that but having you there to fix him up afterwards is definitely the highlight for him :3c

hiii, i really love your interpretation of spy and i love hearing you talk about him. he's sooo mischaracterized most of the time that it really hinders my enjoyment of fan material. I would live to hear you talk more about him (or spoovy hehe)

i've covered a lot of bases with spy in terms of what i've posted about him kind of superficially, so perhaps i'll delve into things a little more specifically! i hope this is okay! ;o; <3333 some big headcanon chunks and some spoovy >:3 HEHEHE!

i often think about how spy operates in terms of how he expresses generosity... while he's obviously very guilty of bombarding his loved ones with gifts, food, whatever their heart could possibly desire (even if heavy insists that spy doesn't need to do any of that for him!), i think that's reserved solely for his romantic partner(s)... like heavy and scout's mom! >:3c hehe... as for anyone else, i think he prefers to control how his kindness is perceived (and if it's perceived at all!)...

i've mentioned before but little things liiiike:

taking pyro's sweets out of the oven before they burn

replacing engineer's wrench that he swore he'd lost forever (spy found it and put it in the right place on engie's tool wall)...

making sure scout always has a cold can of bonk in the fridge

and so on!

and he never wants any of them to know that those random acts of kindness come from him! he also sometimes takes it upon himself to "gently interfere" (despite his insistence that he hates doing that or refuses to do that!) in some of the affairs of his friends... a personal favorite of mine goes like this:

spy knows sniper has a hard time expressing his emotions or being vulnerable and gets kinda stubborn about it

spy "lets it slip" to medic in passing that sniper sleeps with a stuffed animal

sniper gets embarrassed and is like "SPY!!!! >:/"

medic gives sniper puppy dog eyes and is like "oh, hoo! can i please see him! ;o;" and sniper's like ";-;... really... well.. alright..." and shows him and they have a lovely night together in his van of sniper telling medic about his childhood or some kind of anecdote and getting Vulnerable and medic pulls a little suture kit out of his pocket and is like "he certainly looks well-loved... perhaps i could sew some of these (misc rips and tears and Worn Down Spots) up for him? hmm?" and sniper's like ";_; you'd do that.?.." (sniper can sew but he just never got around to repairing his lil friend) and medic is like "certainly! uUu you needn't worry, he'll be in good hands." and winks and sniper takes medic's hands in his own and kisses them and murmurs "the best.. <3" against them and then watches medic "operate"... hehehe... to which he of course does a perfect job and its very cute/intimate/romantic for both of them!

next day sniper and spy are taking a smoke break together and spy's like "... well, how did it go?" and sniper's like "how did what go- OAO WAIT..." and spy smirks and blows smoke away from their faces and hums and is like "i see. a success, then? i hope you had a good night." and sniper's like ">//M//<... yeah... we did... thanks, spy..."

like spy will sometimes just take it upon himself to push some relationships forward or do little things that he knows will improve the lives of those around him but asks for no credit in doing so... and this is where i think heavy would start to really notice him in a romantic kind of way.. he admires that spy can be flamboyantly generous but that his real bread and butter is being Anonymously (or, in a Roundabout Way) Kind... i think that kind of thing would go a long way with heavy and he'd respect it... actions speaking louder than being able to Brag that you did them and so on..

heavy confronts spy about it one time.. they're in the kitchen together and heavy sees a cloaked spy loading a few bonk cans (they're floating into the fridge from the pack scout left on the counter) and heavy grins and is like "excuse me, impressively floating cans. i would like to make a sandwich." and takes out everything he needs and moves aside so that spy can continue and has his back to spy and he can hear spy finish and close the fridge and go to dart out of the room but heavy's like "scout will be happy for cold drink. he is lucky you are watching out for him." and of course everyone (including heavy and spy) know spy is no dad of the year and that historically spy doesn't have a great track record of watching out for scout but he's trying now... and that's what heavy's acknowledging.. and spy doesn't say anything and slips out and spends the next like 2 weeks thinking about heavy and what he said, wondering if heavy will say anything to anyone or expose him.. but he doesn't. he figures spy has his reasons and respects them.

then heavy decides to go and make another sandwich a few weeks after and sits down at one of the mess hall tables first and puts his book down, starts making tea first, preparing the kettle.. and he goes to make his sandwich and he sees the ingredients floating out of the fridge and slowly making themselves into a sandwich, just the way he likes it... perfect ratio of sauces and toppings, olive meticulously skewered with a toothpick on each piece... cut neatly into four little triangles, instead of his usual two. just enough of a difference for it to be Clearly From Spy (as if it was any mystery). spy then places a glass of wine that compliments the flavors of the sandwich (spy's personal recommendation of course) beside it on the table..

heavy smiles warmly and the kettle is whistling and heavy doesn't even notice as he takes a bite of one of the sandwich pieces and he swears it tastes better since spy made it.. takes a sip of the wine and it's perfect... an absolute delight.. and he's not even typically a wine drinker but oh my gosh. and the kettle is still whistling and heavy finally notices and is like oh! and looks over and sees, through the steam, a red suited sleeve (the rest of his body is still cloaked) take it off of the stove and heavy smiles lovingly and is like "thank you, spy." and keeps eating and taking his time, savoring it... and spy's still cloaked but he feels spy brush the tips of his fingers over his broad back and hears a gentle "de rien." before the door opens and closes.. and now it makes heavy think of spy... that gentle touch with those poised and graceful fingers... how he typically hated being touched on the back, but how he loved how spy had done it just then... HEHEHE...
