Warriors and Wild are LITERALLY child soldiers, Sky is in middle school (and is more than happy to travel as it means he has less homework to do…)

Twilight is a fresh adult and doesn’t know what he’s doing with his life

Four is still as short as he is in the comic. Also much to Sky’s dismay Four basically becomes his teacher so he doesn’t fall behind in his studies.

Wind finally can legally drink…. He’s the wine aunt. He’s a nut case. The kids love him. He and Time were babysitting Warriors during the WAR and they’re both still mad they put a like, 9 year old into a war.

Time is freshly married…. He’s as bad (if not worse) then Sky ever could be when it comes to being lovey dovey.

Legend is mad he has to go on another adventure after he’s been comfortably retired for a decade. He becomes the new old man, despite Rulie being older…. And btw Hyrule is still his little brother.

Hyrule is aging wonderfully much to everyone’s surprise. He looks 25. He still can’t read btw but he has mastered life in the wilderness. He is like a mountain lion, he can hide behind anything and sneak anywhere now. Give him a leaf and he’ll find a way to hide behind it and you’ll never see him….

They would’ve never found Hyrule if they didn’t have Warriors and Wild with them, and even then them finding Hyrule was more so Hyrule allowing them to find him so he could check on the kids.

I created this moodboard a long time ago based on an old headcanon that came to my mind, but I never posted. I still don’t know why haha. 😅 I gave it a purple theme because I simply love purple.

Headcanon: María’s mate had intended to marry her before his demise.

María discovered an unfamiliar ring interwoven within the underside of the serape that belonged to the love of her life. Placed onto her with a certain gentle admiration that only one who loved her deeply could have done. She’d spent the whole day wondering when she’d give it back to him. It was his after all… she’d woven it herself specifically for him to wear.

She no longer had to wonder.

She wouldn’t give it back to him now even if he physically came back to life and asked for it.

She questioned how she hadn’t paid attention to the weird sensation she felt rubbing against her skin while underneath the fabric the entire time, not until it was the only thing left to notice…

Not until it was practically the only thing she had left of him.

She was never bright when it came to romance, so it took her longer than one should to figure out what it meant, why it had been on his person,

and why she had no idea about it’s existence

Not up until that point anyway….

It’s almost like he knew, almost like life is funny that way. At least, that’s what she tells herself because she couldn’t dare think about what could’ve been, what WOULD’VE been had they not…

She couldn’t spend a second to think about how she would have responded. Would she sob? Would she flick his forehead and say “¡Levántate, tonto!”, would she jump on him and kiss him like some fairytale? She didn’t know.

There’s a reason she wears white every time she visits his gravestone specifically.

there's a rly good twilight zone where a rural kid is born with godlike powers and traps his entire town in a pocket dimension. if anyone displeases him in any way then he can, with basically zero effort, transform them into a monster or erase them from existence. it ends up being this hellish terror as everyone tries to live their lives without upsetting his childishly simplistic understanding of right and wrong, which is based on whether he feels like people are being nice to him. if they're insufficiently nice, no matter how good their reason, they get yanked away by unseen forces never to be seen again

OMG I never explained this ever because I keep forget but apple jack is making a pun of wigmunke’s name! Wigmuke basically means a rainbow but literally it’s captured light/rain drop kinda deal explaining how a rainbow is raindrops reflecting light. So basically apple jack says you captured my heart. ❤️ like her name.

Art process Timelapse for Sketch Portrait of Link!

Sometimes I have a solid “vision” for what I intend to create, and other times I just wing it and trust my instincts. In this case I knew I wanted to draw an intense portrait of Link, and that was it. Probably helped I was in a bad mood haha. I had some game reference handy from twilight Princess to make sure I stayed more or less accurate to the costume but the pose and lighting are from my imagination.

In this process you can see I push and pull with a lot of details on his appearance. He’s such an iconic figure but he’s also always getting redesigned as well so it was fun to explore just how badass I could depict him. There’s obviously some self-insert stuff going on here too LOL.

Once I decided to have him aiming the clawshot/hook shot at the camera, it all snapped together thematically, and the rest drew itself basically.

The color at the end is via a gradient map which is kind of a cheap photoshop hack but there is some art to it and the color contrast really heightens the drama.
