She will oblige her, of course; but she is only so willing to let the girl believe it’s simply because she asked for it. Dragons do not do as anyone tells them — and Maleficent has never done anything she didn’t already wish to. But, she does like the idea of her small, fiery queen summoning up the courage to face the dragon head on, insisting that she oblige her. She tries to stand tall, posture straight, but Maleficent can see the waver behind her dark, inviting eyes. The faintest sign of fear, that she’s offended the woman, or worse, the beast — and finally worn out her welcome and favor. It’s not the case — and likely never will be, but what fun would it be to bend so easily to her little queen’s insistence?

She approaches not unlike when they met; a towering, feral figure, though appearing less feral now, her wild tresses more tamed of late, but her eyes have lost none of their fervor. She could run her through were that the intention — but it is not. It’s merely to back her into a corner, literally speaking, so there’s nowhere left for her to escape to were she to try. Lithe arms surround her, like two bars of a cage in which she’s now trapped; helpless to the whim of a supposed monster. And it’s likely she’s never been more safe in her life.

A dragon is something that everyone fears; this dragon more than most. And yet one girl alone has stood toe to toe with her; not cowered but basked in the warmth that falls from her skin, unseen but felt down to the bone. This girl that the dragon would kill for, perhaps even die to protect, and she knows that — knows how unequivocally safe she is despite the act the dragon might put on. Pinning her in a corner, all to indulge her wish.

Lips meet lips with an unknown kind of softness, that the dragon hardly believes herself capable of. And those arms that pretended to cage, bend in softness too — one wrapping slowly around her, holding her in firm yet gentle embrace.

have you seen any of the themes commissioned for roleplayers by herroyaldarkness and ofscalesandbetrayals? There themes are insanefully impressive though they don't make free themes they code from scratch for roleplayers generally but wow they give such inspiration.

I’m having trouble finding their themes :/ The blogs themselves look kinda cool, but the navigation is a little confusing, sorry.
