I've got Caden brainrot, here's my thoughts!
Idk if you've talked abt it yet but in the DILLH au what's everyone's ninpo/mystics like? Did Leo lose his at any point, did Caden get Leo's portal abilities? Does Caden even get/have ninpo since in a weird way he could be considered a Hamato? If he does, does he have his AND Leo's?!?
BUT OHHHH, don't think you've actually confirmed it but DOES ANYONE but Caden know that his body is home to two people??? Does everyone think Caden is ACTUALLY Leo, and not know that Caden and Leo are two seperate entities possessing the same body????? Because that would be such an interesting plot.
Caden is all like "stfu I'm not Leo >:(" when everyone else is like "but U are??? Mikey accidentally put Ur spirit into that body so who else would U be?" And everyone just goes along with it thinking Leo renamed himself Caden or something and not knowing that the body already had someone else in it before Leo arrived who is ACTUALLY Caden ykyk?? That would be wild, and even more so chaotic for Caden's daily identity crisis >;)
⬆️ furthermore would Caden try to explain and tell people that Leo's just a ghost in his head and that Caden is seperate from Leo?? And better yet... Would they even believe him? It would be so evil if no one believed Caden was real... Like if everyone thought Caden was the one hijacking the body and not the other way around...... Mmmmmmm, I could even imagine the brothers hypothesizing that Caden could be some new krang trick/scheme to infiltrate the resistance or something and try to get rid of him.
Procrastinating rn, Draxum made a backup stasis turtle... I imagine he would've improved the Empyrean formula or whatever that he used to make the original guys. I highly doubt he would have just simply cloned someone, no way could he resist the mad scientist streak and perform a few tests and experiments and improvements along the way over a whole 17 years??
Caden could possibly have an even better immune system than the rest, be more powerful physically/mystically (well, eventually, I doubt someone fresh out of status for 17 years would be coordinated enough to do much yet lmao) but there's a ton of ideas I have rattling around about this, Draxum's had 17 years to work on a secret project and who knows what he might have done to Caden.
He could have gotten his hands on better materials, since laws in a apocalypse are kinda null and void and who's left to stop him >:) he could use illegal ingredients, maybe some krang technology... Who knows?
With training and all that, when he eventually gets the hang of existing I think some people would probably only see him as an incredibly powerful weapon of sorts...... Hmmmm... You got master Leonardo in the body of a fit, brand new and healthy 17 year old body. Reckon he'd get pressured into fighting against the Krang too early because of that?
And if the krang found out about Caden, I feel like they'd be intrigued at how their enemy discovered a way to circumvent death, maybe theyed want to capture Caden or something to figure it all out, maybe dissect him or infect him to create an even stronger weapon (...I sense this is simultaneously a great plot idea but ohhh crap the angst/torture Ive unknowingly come up with for Caden, OOPS?? Sorry Caden)
Hey... what kind of memories does Caden even have? Where in earth did he get an education xD was Draxum just hiding in his lab, sitting in front of a tank every few days with like an old scrappy kids book teaching him stuff? (Assuming he possibly could have been awoken periodically or something over the years, idk how else Caden would already be sentient/intelligent by the time F!Leo hijacks the body if the first time he wakes is when that happens 🤔)
I think you can guess who my favourite of your ocs is.
The more I think about it the more Caden gives of Casey junior vibes (specifically from the movie, being dropped into a whole new world -> kinda like learning about the world after being in stasis for years) Caden would probably get a bit of deja vu when he gets sent into the future with CJ, at least he'd actually have someone to relate to now this time about all the new weird things to learn about in the future.
Ripe backstory potential right there and these ideas r all for u, I love this au too much. If you ever need a beta reader for DILLH, I'll be there.
My dude. My bro. I just….you have no idea how happy I am with getting this kind of question in my inbox. I live for long questions cause I can yap more. ALSO YIPPEE CADEN IS YOUR FAVOURITE OC OF MINE!! He’s honestly my favourite too, or at least top 3.
Oh boy…lets get to answering these *rubs hands together like a fly*
JUST LIKE A WARNING/REMINDER OF THIS AU. I haven’t actually figured everything out plot wise and whatnot, so honestly some things could possibly change when I actually get to writing this series.
——————————————————————————————————
1) SO! Leo actually lost his ninpo during the Krang war, due to idk, stress or something (haven’t figured out what yet tbh) but anyways, he lost it only recently, maybe like 2-3 months before he was even transferred to Caden’s body. Everyone else, like Raph, Donnie and Mikey still have their ninpo intact, so they’re all good. Caden on the other hand, doesn’t have ninpo, at least not at the start! It's a high possibility that Caden actually does get ninpo (not sure if he’ll have his own ninpo or not, still figuring that out) but he does have Leo’s abilities on making portals, but he’ll get that later on.
2) So, with his body situation and the whole Leo living inside him thing. At the start, no one thinks Leo is actually in there. Except for Mikey. Well, Mikey isn’t 100% sure, but he has a feeling that Leo is still around. But because of hour similar Leo and Caden look (with slight differences obviously) and with the whole being told that Leo’s soul was transferred over to Caden, they just mistake him for Leo. A lot.
But later down the line of the story, they’ll eventually know. Whether it’s by Leo possessing Caden for the first time and spilling secrets that only he knows about his brothers or something, or by Donnie doing some kind of test on Caden and somehow confirming that, hey, Leo’s actually been here the whole time.
3) Caden’s identity crisis…oh boy, so, he is always telling people that he’s not Leo. Has been from day 1. And the brothers mostly just wave it off and not really listen. They do or possibly will have moments where they think that Caden is actually Leo, but it’s just Leo is de-aged and has trouble remembering things. If anything they’re confused by Caden’s identity as well since sometimes they believe he’s actually Leo and sometimes they rethink that and think that Caden is just Caden.
4) With the creation of Caden. I feel like, since it is the apocalypse, they didn’t have many resources to be making new beings. So Draxum had to do what he could with whatever he had left over. He probably did try to perfect it to some level, and that being Caden is I suppose more resilient to some things, maybe just a tad faster than they is. Just little things like that. Not sure about his immune system though 😅.
Would he have used Krang technology? Hm…I’m not 100% sure if Caden is gonna have Krang DNA or whatever in him. So let’s just say for now, he doesn’t have their DNA.
5) Dude, this boy is gonna go through all kinds of problems. With both Krang and human ‘allies’. Like say, TCRI or EPF. Cause, it is as you said, with some training, and with Master Leonardo inside the body of a perfectly fit, younger mutant, they would definitely want to weaponize him for the war. That’s the human side of his issues with what they want to use him for. With Krang, it’s similar but they also want their revenge on Leo, especially upon learning more about the situation of Caden.
6) The Krang would definitely want to capture Caden, learn all the secrets of the Resistance and its members. Possibly idk, brainwash him or something into being their soldier. Prime however would also definitely want to destroy Caden. Cause like, hello? Leonardo who had been a pain in Prime’s side for years is trapped inside Caden's body? The leader of the resistance? Oh, he could just so easily kill him off then and there and the war is basically theirs for the win.
7) Caden’s memories. He doesn’t actually have much. Since, while he was in stasis, he’s been mostly asleep. But the reason why he can talk and has some kind of form of education/intelligence is simply because there were times where he did wake up at random times and Draxum would always be there and just teach him a few things. How to talk and what things are.
Leo had also significantly helped him when they conjoined souls and share a body. I don’t know how to describe it exactly but Leo’s mentality and what he already knows just kinda naturally affects Caden, making him just be quicker at understanding things, talking, walking. Like their minds just connected and since Leo has been alive for a while, sharing a body with Caden, he can just go around and control Caden like it was his own body too. (That probs make no sense, but trust me on this when I say to not think to hard about it)
8) Ooh, he is kinda like Casey Jr with the whole “hey, you’re in a brand new world now” not only that, CADEN WILL HAVE SUFFER THROUGH THAT TWICE WHEN HE IS SENT BACK IN TIME WITH CASEY 😭 this dude cannot catch a break fr.
Caden is def being awkward when he meets the younger versions of the brothers. Especially with Leo, but they also get into a lot of shenanigans with each other, so that’s going to be fun—
——————————————————————————————————
and I think that answers everything. Also, OMG BETA READER? Never had one of those, I have no clue how to even go about that, but when I do make this story, I’ll happily let you know if I’m searching for beta readers! And if I am, I’ll def let you become one if you’re still interested!

Brian Barrett at Wired:
The courts have decided against DOGE and the US government in their legal battle to take full control of the United States Institute of Peace, including a headquarters building with an estimated value of $500 million. In a memorandum opinion, US district court judge Beryl Howell ruled in favor of the former institute board and staff who had sued to be reinstalled at the agency after DOGE affiliates forcibly removed them in March. She also gave a strong rebuke to the defendants in the case, who include the US DOGE Service, President Donald Trump, secretary of defense Pete Hegseth, and several other government representatives and agencies. “The purported removal of members of the Board of Directors of the United States Institute of Peace (“USIP”) … was unlawful,” Howell wrote in the order, “and therefore null, void, and without legal effect.” The order states that the USIP board members who had been forced out must be reinstated. It goes on to declare any actions taken by the agency since their removal—including the headquarters transfer—null and void. It further bars the defendants from “maintaining, retaining, gaining, or exercising any access or control over the Institute’s offices, facilities, computer systems, or any other records, files, or resources.” The ruling caps off one of the most dramatic chapters in DOGE’s government takeover so far. It’s also one of the fullest repudiations yet of DOGE overreach. The Justice Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
DOGE got handed a big loss in their bid to hijack the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), as Judge Beryl Howell ruled in USIP v. Jackson that DOGE’s unlawful bid to take over the USIP is out of bounds.

Star Wars - ML setup
See this would change so much because there's no way that anything that shares DNA with Anarka would bow down to the authority of the Empire
Wouldn't change much, as Jango gave the Kaminoans the same exact problem. That's why by the time the Clone Wars started they only had the first 200,000 "units" ready (and going by military parlance, said units would be AT MINIMUM regiments, more likely full legions. Not single troopers), they spent years altering the genes precisely to get clones that followed orders while maintaining initiative. They even had two series of prototypes, the "Null", 20 clones that were basically Jango Fett clones with accelerated aging and would have been terminated early had Kal Skirata, another Mandalorian Supercommando and one of the instructors, not literally adopted them, and the Alpha Class Advanced Recon Commandos, 200 clones with no mental alterations and elevated physical abilities that, once tested, were frozen to be kept in storage for everyone's safety, only to be released as a nasty surprise if whatever enemy the Republic was preparing to fight decided to attack Kamino (the Separatists made an early attack before Grievious got to lead the Droid Armies and were utterly decimated, and after seeing them in action Anakin suggested to have them teach their skills to regs that turned out more independent than normal. When Order 66 was invoked many Alphas just ignored it because they reasoned that whatever the Order's leadership had done their Jedi wasn't on it, and later the ones that survived the war went to become either instructors for the Empire, bounty hunters, or members of what would become the Rebel Alliance).
Rex in fact was originally supposed to be Alpha-17, one of the Alpha that had already appeared in comics with the 501st before the second Clone Wars cartoon started production, but Lucas objected because they already had three main characters whose names started with A (Anakin, Artoo, and Ahsoka), so they created Rex as a graduate of the first class of the ARC Training Program, with Alpha as his instructor (Cody was in the same class). Alpha's fate is unknown, as after he suffered serious leg injuries from Grievous at the start of the Outer Rim Sieges the ship that was to bring him to a medical station was hijacked by Ventress in her final Legends appearance.
Honestly fascinating.
Like once again I forget how much supplemental material there is for Star Wars because.... yeah it's a hell of a fun sandbox(bad word choice considering Anakin)
At this point I care less about the ml au and more about y'all infodumping cool Star Wars facts

The Commonweal series is consuming my brain and I’m vibrating a little too close to the sun, so here’s a post-first-reading incoherent, and I do mean incoherent, rambling of thoughts and questions.
Independents, names, gender:
Rose as the flowers you grow on/by graves (credit to @/strikeslip) - I’m thinking about red spider lilies. Really not the same thing, but I’m trying to borrow a pattern for understanding. The Independent Rose as life [from] death.
Fire? Has there really never been a naming collision? Do you just call dibs? Less than two hundred independents in the second commonweal, right? Half a million people vs 7 million in the first… let me see those statistics again. Oh hm Fire vs Spark(s?) has no hierarchical implications? Squinting at exaltation-in-comparison-to-your-peers.
Thinking about halt, rust, blossom as names that work as both nouns and verbs. Someone on tumblr(?) said Rust as oxidation and yeah that works. I never did shake Blossom as {a blossom of sparks from a forge} instead of, like, flowers. Are independent names gendered… are flowers feminine in general?? Leaning maybe, lemme check naming bits again.
the commonweal’s not perfect: social
F in the chat for people who have sensory issues / are otherwise picky about foods, have bad social skills (body language, speech nuance etc), have various disabilities, have depression executive dysfunction etc, are bad at homeschooling or being homeschooled for basic literacy and arithmetic, and nulls who need medical care (they can stretch/shrink their auras with practice but probably not to within themselves, that seems unaesthetic. I wonder how differently that goes with diagnostics of un/powered weeding mishaps).
Also people who do abstract work? Is there a collective of theoretical mathematicians, is it just a hobby, how does who get published and how do libraries work… important research teams? Nonimportant research teams? The Creeks are out in the boonies and Independents are libraries unto themselves, but are there newspapers? Oh wait there are broadsheets. What would go wrong with inventing radio? Radio towers get smashed? Information dangers get spread? Obviously unreliable/hijackable, but would they be worth the arms-race effort? Launching a satellite would have so many problems but I kind of want to know what they would be.
Independents: threats or people?
Wait, does the Shape kill prospective independents for not being independents? I kind of thought it was just that you need to be the shape of a person who will follow the Peace, but Eugenia would’ve died… because squishy meat brain isn’t capable of being in that kind of shape, or because she didn’t meet the metaphysical-brain requirement? Should the question be rephrased as ‘how does this let bad actors get away with behaving badly’ and/or ‘what are the implications / how does this go wrong’? Edge cases like Eugenia’s exaltation (book 5) happen if you allow exceptions.
Implications of book 5 conversation in the tavern… if you’re going to claim {we live in a society} and {independents are part of society} then you gotta let them in. Personal power leads to fiefdoms therefore personal power can’t be allowed in social power (oversimplified) vs. we totally vouch that these specific people are cool vs. maybe current policy is not ideal, actually. But is that fear [completely wrong] or [amount is miscalibrated] or a secret third thing?
The exaltation thing, which no one had really mentioned formally prior to book 5, puts some of the fearful vibes in context. Makes more sense to treat Independents like potential bombs when there’s a tendency like that, I hadn’t really got context into the half-life statistic before. The Commonweal is telling the story of itself, but one could also perhaps apply social engineering to the [problem] of Independents? Well, Halt is, and five hundred years isn’t an immortally long time even before you take out the two hundred tumultuous ones.
The commonweal’s not perfect: foreign policy
The Commonweal’s no slavery and no dominion vs. you pick the thing that gets you into the future vs. the thing you get into the future still has to be you vs. the thing someone said in book 5 that what the second commonweal currently is, their industrialization and mobilization to war, is not the Peace. They’re eating their seed corn.
International policy as murdering all of your enemies those who invade you: dark forest theory isn’t the right vibe but also isn’t completely wrong - oh, archmage rocket tag - no, still a bit dark forest theory because you can search by things like [the person who ordered the attack on me/mine] more easily than [who’s over there]; interaction information’s cheap, perception is violence. Does the Commonweal’s story of itself include assimilation? Not centrally but yes, sometimes. Expansion? It wouldn’t invade[citation needed] but weeding is work [it’s free real estate.jpg], I think. Is no invasion about the no dominion (technical magic term) fundamental value?
What benefits does dominion confer, which the Commonweal is presumably doing without? I thought maybe the Shape of Peace could do it (I got a vibe that dominion might help with weeding, citation needed) but that still doesn’t seem ideologically correct. Claim dominion over people, a country/nation (are either of those terms ever used?), an area of land? At what degree of removal? Can dominion be inherited by conquest?
Technical definitions:
Todo: ctrl+F family and vibecheck romantic love valid relationships. Blood relations matter, but a gean isn’t exactly that.
Todo: what are exaltation, dominion, conquest, mighty, god/dess as technical terms? What value can worship have?

ive been having tons of fun developing Parallel Popstar's Void Corruption lately so heres a lil something i made recently for that: the Void Golem! it's a parasitic Void Beast called a Void Hijacker, and they are about the size of a regular Puffball. one of them took control of a huge statue of the previous queen, Axis.
Tumblr media
related side note but the "Parallel" bosses from Kirby Star Allies also exist in my au:
Parallel Woods is the Void Arbor, a titanic tree that is capable of controlling the bizarre plant life of the Void.
Parallel Kracko is the Void Storm, a gargantuan and unpredictable weather system that causes havoc for those who linger uninvited in the Void for too long.
Parallel Meta Knight is the Void Blade, a small but incredibly powerful and ruthless swordfighter that can conjure up terrifyingly dangerous blizzards.
Parallel Dedede is the Void King, but despite that title it offers more of a support role, powering up Void Beasts around itself and occasionally crushing those near it with its huge hammer.
all of these ultimately serve Parallel Null, an entity so thoroughly corrupted by the Void that nothing of its old self remains. despite its extremely violent and animalistic disposition, its "Four Horsemen" (as called by the deities) protect it fiercely.
one more thing while im kind of on the topic: succumbing to the Void Corruption is an extremely slow and painful process. as for what exactly happens, i dont have any idea yet, but i do know that those suffering from it eventually become hyper-aggressive towards everyone. the worst part is that in its early stages it is VERY ADDICTIVE, similar to smoking.

(Rough) Fact Checking on Rui & Ukkomon's statements in 02TB
Tumblr media
Tbh I'm kinda concerned about people taking Rui's statements for granted and not realizing the movie is unclear what is legit and whatnot.
This is not Kizuna-like levels of screwed up, but this is still bugging me as i've been discussing about this movie with friends who managed to watch it before me, and once i watched it by myself i completely understood their thoughts and theories regarding the movie and the Rui & Ukkomon lore.
We still got no actual news of digital releases or EN subs (tho i believe fansubs might appear once the JP Blu-Ray/DVD is released in May) or any other country digital release (or Blu-Ray/DVD ones) so i can’t completely make a detailed lore busting post about Rui’s statements and what we know or were presented in the original Adventure’99, 02 and their extra materials like Drama CD and movies.
But i do remember tiny bits of the movie… And stuff said in the pre-release stream.
I’ll do my best here.
[WARNING FOR SPOILERS AHEAD]
The movie staff released a timeline for this movie, which indicates Rui met Ukkomon in February 29 1996 → I don’t think this is a contradiction, because if the Korean interview with SekiP is reliable (i mean, we can’t check what she said in JP, and the telephone game from JP to KR and to EN means something might have been lost in the process!), she said they changed a bit of the lore for this movie. Btw, the OG lore of Digimon Partnership count starts in 1995 and then it doubles year by year is still present in the movie, as there’s a scene where the current number of partnerships in the year of 2012, but the number stated is not exact since the movie takes place in February only. So of course the count wouldn’t be the full year number, which is 131,072 partnerships in total.
Rui and Ukkomon form a bond, and Ukkomon grants Rui the wish of having many friends, which he tells the 02 group that partnerships with digimon were the result of this wish → This is completely uncertain, and it is also doubted by the 02 kids in the movie. In Adv’99 and 02 we learn that there’s multiple sources for becoming a Chosen Child: Homeostasis (Adv Eight, possibly their predecessors); Holy Beasts (Daisuke, Miyako & Iori); unknown sources (Menoa, Meiko, Ken, Wallace, Worldwide Chosen, Dark Seed Children perhaps?)
Rui claims he’s the first person who was partnered with a digimon → Well, this is not wrong! Now, if he were claiming to be the first to have met or interacted with a digimon… He would’ve been wrong: The first human to get in touch with the Digital World and the digimon were actually two – Oikawa Yukio and Hida Hiroki (yes, Iori’s late dad), in the 1980s. Despite that, they never had digivices at all. Then in 1995 we possibly had a double digimon encounter happening: Wallace meeting Gummymon and Chocomon briefly ¹, and the Yagami siblings meeting a Koromon. This could mean Rui and Ukkomon were actually the fourth digimon encounter in the timeline. But what is correct is that he became Ukkomon’s partner first because he got the very first digivice in the world. Taichi and Hikari weren’t partnered with that same Koromon ², but they got their own partner digimon + digivices in 1999. And Wallace probably became Terriermon’s partner years after, possibly in 1996 and after Chocomon’s disappearance ³, or post-1996.
Rui claims Ukkomon is a special digimon because he can grant wishes → Okay, but i definitely remember the 02 Kids going like “sounds cool bro but we doubt it” when he said that. And the movie itself quite shows the opposite later: Ukkomon did not cure Rui’s father, and he was possibly manipulating everyone else like puppets (besides Rui’s parents i meant) – so what kind of digimon who can grant wishes is this?! He has no magical god-like powers at all! And his null lore (Bandai’s) profile points out that part of granting wishes are just rumors. But you know what said profile mentions too? That Ukkomon is able to hijack the opponents’ minds. It’s his species’ special move – Liar Dream – besides spinning like a beyblade to attack (Whirlpool Spin).
Rui claims he killed Ukkomon a long time ago → Also not totally true. Rui tried killing Ukkomon, but he couldn’t commit to it. He tried to destroy the digivice, which resulted in his injury in the right eye. Ukkomon did not… “die” apparently. Yes, he was melting, but one detail you might not know is that when a digimon dies, everything from their body, or their weapon is also erased too. Check Adv’99 death for Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon. The eye Ukkomon slapped into Rui’s face was still there after his “death” so this was the biggest hint for the audience. It was also implied in the Audio Drama #3 (released in the Japanese theaters, and soon in the BD/DVD deluxe box as bonus with the other two theater ones) – But it’s okay, he possibly never had a contact with another digimon or even a Chosen Child before meeting Daisuke & co, so we can’t blame him for believing he had killed Ukkomon.
In a flashback, Ukkomon tells Rui that he’s connected to something bigger → This might be the only legitimate truth he had told Rui, besides that Rui was the first person partnered with a digimon. Somehow, Ukkomon is connected to some god-tier entity because once BigUkkomon is destroyed, the digivices are not needed anymore. This part might be completely confusing for everyone else, but it’s not confirming Rui’s claims that the digimon partnerships were caused by Ukkomon, and yes the part of Ukkomon’s claims to be related to some higher up god-like entity.
The notes within the text:
To my biggest surprise… Wallace never mentions when his mother found the egg. But he definitely mentions when Chocomon disappears – 7 years before, which means 1995. I’ve seen many people think this movie goes against the canon in different ways… But now i’ve reached the conclusion that what Wallace meant is that he met Gummymon and Chocomon in the same year Chocomon disappeared in the flower field. Plus, Wallace is shown in those flashbacks as a 4 years old kid (stated in the Memorial Chronicle) and we know via a CD bonus card that Wallace’s age is 11 years old in 2002 (same as Daisuke, Takeru, Hikari and Ken) – so i guess if he had gotten the egg before 1995 he would’ve been too young to remember it (unless you opt for 1994, but i think this wouldn’t be possible…)
The Koromon who met Taichi and Hikari is implied to not be the same who was partnered with Taichi 4 years later in Adventure'99: the TV series Agumon knew Taichi’s name because of the data inserted on his egg by the Agents, which were also manufacturing the Crests and Digivices, according to Homeostasis’ analysis on the children from the Greymon vs Parrotmon fight.
Since Chocomon went missing, i suppose Wallace became partnered with Gummymon only, but if we go with Adv’99 and 02, the Chosen Children can evolve non-partnered digimon as well: Leomon mentions he only managed to evolve into SaberLeomon because of the Chosen Children’s digivices being used on him previously in the series, and in 02 we witnessed the Digimon Kaiser using his digivice to dark evolve Agumon into both SkullGreymon and MetalGreymon virus (the latter only when he created the Evil Spiral, of course).

// the only remotely "femenine" thing rika would be willing to wear would be long/knee high socks while wearing boxers. bonus if they have a wooper/clodsire pattern
actually fuck it, i'll hijack my own post to talk about her gender expression-
she's never been interested in wearing anything considered femenine. not because she has a problem w it as a concept, but because she just doesn't like how it looks on her. how it makes her look. she feels "masculine" clothing compliments her much better, plus she LOVES making ppl double guess.
she's aware of her androgyny and she takes advantage of it to enhance her beauty, she loves her null chest, she loves her lack of curves, she loves her broad shoulders and towering height. she's a woman and she doesn't hide that fact from anyone who asks her, but she loves just how masculine she is. something something she's creacher and she embraces it

I wonder if disaster and things going "wrong" is just part of sburb works. taking advantage of the games mechanics, a civilization being allowed to leave their planet and hijack another session., like maybe all normal sessions are supposed to go completely bonkers, because the only way to actually test if a species is worthy of continuing their existence is to see how they manage against seemingly unnatural and chaotic trials.
oh ABSOLUTELY i agree with this.
i feel that sburb is a game DESIGNED to be fucking BUSTED to all hell and being basically unwinnable without using exploits, bugs, and cheats.
its why a scratch construct is necessary for any viable session, because theres a very high likelihood that your session will be one of the many null sessions floating around the incisiphere, and if you fuck it up irrecoverably you have to try again.
a lot of it correlates back to The Ultimate Riddle and the nature of SBURB being sustained by self-fulfilling paradox time loops and predestination, and any game with a busted physics engine, including the laws of physics, is bound to be full of bugs.
honestly, the bullshit trials the players face kind of parallel the battle on skaia. the forces of prospit are unable to win the war without intervention from the players, and likewise, the players in homestuck are unable to beat the game without the intervention of another session.

With the recent livestream on the Basically, Games! channel (Dr. Reflex hammering for one hour), I've taken upon myself to scour through some of the posted videos. Eventually, I came across the trailer for Classic Remastered.
And this frame appeared.
Tumblr media
Obviously, I know who it is. It's Null. He's warning us to not play the game and my mind, forever cruel, unraveled this simple and little thought. On how Null is always, always so persistently trying to get you to not play the game under any circumstances. He tries every single method in order to do so to the point where he hijacks the game's trailer, even if it's momentarily.
However, this is not the first instance he does such a thing. In the description in the download page on Itch.io for Baldi's Basics Classic and Birthday Bash, Null makes his presence known after some lines of zalgo text, signaling that he's hijacking those pages as well. The content? Warning you about the game and encouraging you not to play it. Desperate, wanting you to listen and trust him to the point where he does it outside the game. And you want me to believe that this man hates The Player? Nonsense!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Every time I remember that he cared so goddamn much to the point where it ended up leading to his own demise, I want to rip my heart out. Imagine trying so hard, only to brutally fail in the end? Oh, Null. I'm so sorry.

Alpha Nanite is a villain who is self proclaimed Generator Rex's brother. He has the power to absorb nanites and even hijack any technological construct and make it his host. He's the one who took Rex's omega nanite to become Alpha Omega. He even made a replica of the Ultimatrix. He was eventually defeated and turned back into a ball and Ben sent him to the Null Void.

Absolutely! Based on the established lore, the villains in Power Rangers Pride: Legacy of Light should embody themes of erasure, assimilation, and the battle against self-acceptance, serving as dark reflections of the Rangers' struggles. Below is a detailed breakdown of the main antagonists and their designs:
PRIMARY ANTAGONIST: The Assimilation Queen
Theme: Enforcer of a reality where queer identities are rewritten, erased, or forcibly assimilated.
Visuals:
A monochrome, porcelain-like mask—blank at first, but shifting to mimic the faces of those she seeks to erase.
Black hole veins flowing through her body, absorbing history and culture into oblivion.
Wears a tattered monarch's cape with glitching symbols of erased civilizations.
Abilities:
Erasure Touch: Contact with her causes parts of a person’s identity to vanish (memories, names, emotions).
Assimilation Choir: She speaks with thousands of voices—former heroes, rewritten into her hive mind.
Null Zone: A void where all color fades, replacing vibrant identities with grayscale conformity.
LIEUTENANTS – THE FACELESS LEGION
Concept: The Assimilation Queen’s elite enforcers, former Rangers stripped of identity and autonomy. Each one represents an internal battle the heroes must face.
Faceless Blue – The Ghost of Self-Doubt
Former Name: ??? (Their erased past haunts them.)
Visuals:
A shattered visor that constantly flickers between past identities.
Their Zord, the Iron Spire, is a frozen clock tower, trapping victims in time loops of their worst memories.
Powers:
Memory Fracture: Causes Rangers to relive their deepest self-doubts.
Ice Bind: Freezes foes inside their past selves, unable to move forward.
Faceless White – The Perfected Ideal
Former Name: A once-revered warrior, erased and replaced by a "flawless" copy.
Visuals:
Their body is statuesque, unnaturally symmetrical, like a marble sculpture.
A crimson halo flickers behind their head, glitching between angelic and monstrous.
Powers:
Ideal Form: Forces enemies into a "perfect" state—removing their uniqueness and flaws.
Purity Chains: Binds opponents in bands of light that drain their individuality.
Faceless Pink – The Forgotten Star
Former Name: A revolutionary erased from history, now a tool of oppression.
Visuals:
A glitching hologram of their former self, barely held together.
Their Zord, the Barbed Tower, hijacks digital narratives, rewriting queer joy into tragedy.
Powers:
Static Echo: Speaks with a distorted voice of erased legends, drowning the world in forgotten sorrow.
Rewritten Fate: Alters the memories of others, changing how they see their own past.
Final Villain – THE OBLIVION ARCHIVE
Concept: The Assimilation Queen’s ultimate creation—a black hole that devours queer history, rewriting the Morphing Grid itself.
Visuals:
A spiraling mass of shattered monuments, erased murals, and stolen artifacts.
Golden chains drag legends from history, converting them into fuel for the void.
Powers:
Erasure Singularity: Every battle fought against it is forgotten, forcing the Rangers to start over each time.
History Rewritten: It can alter past events, ensuring that victories never happened.
NEXT STEP: IMAGE GENERATION
Let me know if you’d like me to generate concept art of these villains in 8K photorealistic manga style with glitch aesthetics, black hole visuals, and shattered history motifs.
