A few days ago, I was listening to my Spotify playlists and one of my favorite songs started and I'm like "Oh yay! :3" and then very quickly went to "Oh shit" bc it fits Caprice EXTREMELY WELL

So, saying that, I'm making a Caprice playlist bc I have 4 songs I can think of off the top of my head that fit him (one being the one he sings in episode 19).

Anyway, the song is Dirty Imbecile by The Happy Fits. It's especially pertinent after what happens in episode 19 sob sob

I chose the lyric video bc I NEED you to read the lyrics and agree with me lol. It also fits bc there's a cello in there (I think it's a cello)

One line I feel like I need to highlight right away is this:

There's more but I'm not gonna dissect the whole song (I could). But I was hit like a truck with this. thinking about how gene is shown having a ukulele (and being able to play it to some extent) in two separate episodes but its like. two completely different ukulele designs?? i know the animators probably didn't think too deeply about it when he randomly had a different ukulele in the spanish episode but I like to imagine he actually has Two distinct ukuleles that different relatives bought for him. and he keeps both of them in his bedroom and regularly plays neither. bcuz he's not a string instrument kinda guy

if gene ever has a ukulele in a future episode they should give it ANOTHER completely distinct design keep the joke going. he has infinite ukuleles in his bedroom now

7:What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

Never having a haircut that doesn't look Kind Of Bad. Always a little too long/a little too short/ choppy but not in an intentional way. Also I really love the Fancier hat but unfortunately he doesn't get that until her daughter's older and then in the setting where they WOULD have it they lost it when she died, and in that game we haven't had a chance to go back there. 17:Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?

OOOOh yeah, i mean first the evil eye imagery, which is kinda self explanatory. I based the colors off a bracelet i had when I was little it was SO pretty i kept it after it broke. It's also very fun to use as a third expression but im not sure if i draw cartoony enough that that reads. and then the sun/fire motif which started out a necessity of the system(Everyone Play Firmament by Veil's Edge Games) but its also like. so deeply part of him. Then from that in a bunch of stuff I haven't posted canaries, but also songbirds in general. Personality wise accidentally put some dog stuff in as well but its an accident. Sometimes i lean in on it for Joaks but like. its not strong. Also she doesn't like dogs at all. Music wise looking at it's playlist ALOT of strings, which is funny, because my character who CAN actually play string instruments has a significant more focus on bass guitar.
