Triage is such an interesting topic I felt like I'm not even studying and instead reading on a random topic I'm accidentally hyperfixate on

Hmmm, had an idea I wanted share with you.

What if the Aeons in this AU are these super advanced A.I.s that the corporations responsible for manufacturing the Androids have as responsible for creating and programming them. And sometimes, due to one reason or another (their programs reaching a point where they can't he updated any further, or it starting to decay or corrupt. Not quite sure how to put it, I'm not overly computer savvy) they sometimes need to be replaced.

Like for example, Penacony Entertainment Firm's (the corporation responsible for Robin's creation) original design A.I. was Ena, but was later replaced by Xipe (but Ena's program was considered "too important" to simply throw away, so they Xipe simply absorb their Order programming into their Harmory algorithm). Yaoshi was originally the Xianzhou Militech Corporation's lead A.I. but the way their program was developing was considered "too dangerous" and so they planned to replace them with Lan. But Yaoshi has seemingly developed to the point where they were self-aware, and went rogue, resulting in the creation of a virus called "the Mara" which they would proceed to start infecting androids made Xianzhou (as well as other companies they could dig their virtual roots into). Their first victim being Android! Jingliu.

Jingliu was originally a combat android, before the Mara corrupted her personality core, leading to instances of her attacking friendlies, eventually being sent to you to be terminated after she ended up deleting the last person she had been serving under. But you just can't bring it upon yourself to pull the plug on her, so instead you attempt to help, trying to keep her under control while trying to find a way to purge the Mara from her programming. And it's through this time that Jingliu finds herself growing quite interested in you. It turns out the Mara's effects on her personality core also inspires her to actions of a more lewd variety 🤭

This is actually a really clever way of implementing the Aeons into the Android AU and still making them very powerful beings 😳

I’m so impressed! I would like to make this canon in the lore because it’s so smart. Also the fact that Jingliu’s Marastruck virus affects her personality core and in turn makes her horny, is really amusing to see. Imagine this stoic, seemingly emotionless combat Android wanting to touch you and attach mechanical genitals to her body like a Sex Android, suddenly taking an interest in things like sex, feelings, etc. and wanting to be close to you at all times.

You’d be so confused as to why Jingliu was suddenly getting “grabby feely” with you and getting frustrated because she can’t feel any pleasure. But since it was clear she was uncomfortable and needed something down there to satiate herself, you decided it would be harmless to attach a mechanical penis to her. What harm could that do? She’s probably just gonna masturbate—

Well, Jingliu wasn’t so harmless anymore. Now that she could experience proper pleasure in her nether regions, she was intent on making you the source of her pleasure. Not like you wouldn’t reject her, ofc. You’d gladly help out an Android if they were in a time of need 🤭

Since the game is really hard, all you need to know about Epic Mickey’s lore usually comes from the cutscenes!!! It’s a really good game!!

I think the anon might have suggested it because Oswald (Mickey’s older brother…half-brother??)

and Mickey have a really interesting relationship and it’s kind of based off the real life story of the copyright of Oswald and what happened to him.

But in a nutshell, Oswald was created first before Mickey, and was eventually forgotten and fell into the world of the forgotten characters.

He tried to make best of what he had there, having a wife and kids. But even as life went on he still saw the fame of his younger brother Mickey everywhere, he saw his father’s love and for his younger brother everywhere, while he lived in the world of forgotten characters.

One day though, a disaster struck, a wave of ink flooded the town, taking his wife and turning her into stone. And he was left alone to raise his 640 children.

And to make things worse, the person behind it all…was his younger brother. His younger brother who’s now here walking around as if he DIDNT take Oswald’s life, as if he didn’t cause a disaster wrecking the town and having it take Oswald’s wife.

However in the end, Oswald realizes that Mickey didn’t know Oswald existed that Mickey didn’t know that he took Oswald’s place. And Mickey’s working to try to fix everything….

The two are brothers, and there was a moment…a moment where Oswald could have took Mickey’s soul (the key to getting out of the forgotten world), Oswald could have taken what should have been his from the start… but he doesn’t.

The two defeat the ink blot and end up on better terms.

NOW, I think if there ever was a Epic Mickey Gravity falls au, some things would have to be re-worked obviously, to fit the gravity falls characters better

But that’s the basic gist of Epic Mickey.

Hmmm. Hmmmmmmm.

I'm on to you lot. I'm blurting this out to keep the wip demons at bay

So on Stan's end he's an only child, uses comics as an escepe, and creates Ford to be his self-inserts (his) best friend. Graduates high school, creates a farewell comic that works as an end to the series so he can move on, 'grow up' and do bigger and 'better' things with his life, leave his childhood fantasies behind. Since Stanley is him, and Ford represents his childhood, Stan makes a comic that ends with them separating in an angsty, more mature way. Stanley breaks something super important to Ford (Stan is ending his comic, trying to seperate himself from his childhood), the forever motion 3000 (or something.) and they get into an arguement. They'd argued before, but this one blows up (Stan's writing his frustrations out), and they walk away from each other, furious and determined to make it on their own. Stan goes to college, boxes his comics up, and sorta moves on. Stanley transforms into the main character of his own series (I think someone suggested El Diablo?), but Ford never does, (Stan doesn't want to warp something precious to him for profit).

On Ford (and everyone in Stanland) end, he and Stanley were going on adventures, beating up villains of the week, having a grand time! Then it abruptly ends, with Stanley having become more and more moody (Puberty) and destroying something of Fords for no reason! Something Ford worked hard on! Then refused to apologize, and shouted about he could make it on his own!

Then Stanland starts changing. Some parts retain the childish shine of Lil'Stans, while others change and grow, and more characters and settings are introduced. Bill goes from cornchip to demon, Fiddleford goes from wacky doctor to tortured scientist cultist, Rico's a guy who's around now, who scoffs at all the older characters, etc. Ford's not happy with how Stan has changed things, or how he's gone off and acts like Ford doesn't exist, but whatever. He's his own character! He can have his own PG adventures full of swears! He doesn't need Stanley!

(Stan has no idea him not drawing Ford anymore is viewed the same as abandoning characters in Stanland. Ford went from gods right hand man to old new overnight and it only adds to Fords feelings of betrayal)

Anyway Stan moves to Gravity Falls, the dimensional walls are thin, Stanland starts to seep through, merging it with the real world, and Stan and Ford finally meet face to face. Fords angry at Stan for his betrayal and abandonment, while Stan's getting slammed with the fact that Fords a real character (hmm. Ford aged because he's by origin Stan's twin, so if Stan ages so does Ford. He's still very much a kid at heart though).

Stuff happens, the walls collapse, Stanland and the real world merge, Bill is rampaging, and Stan and Ford finally have a heart to heart, Stan admitting that he didn't abandon Ford as a character, he just couldn't stand the thought of something he made only for himself getting warped by corporate greed or becoming something Stan would grow to hate. Lil'Stan was a comic by Stan for Stan, and while he might have had hopes of selling copies as a kid, as he grew older it became more of a comfort thing.

Then Ford has to erase Stan's mind, taking out Stan(ley) all in one go. Bill's sort of a god now after all, so another god's gotta pay the price to take him down (or at least, thats how Stan wrote it).

Alright I’m gonna put my hat in the ring for the whole season 2 shenanigans.

Could murder drones have a season 2? Maybe

Do I want liam to do it? Only if he really truly actually wants to, no outside force, whether fandom or (though I doubt they would from what creators keep saying) glitch productions forcing him to do it, if he has ideas, and wants to do it, go for it, more crazy drone land galore.

Do I want a season 2? Hmmm…..oddly enough, Im unsure, mainly because of what a fucking gold mine it is for what ifs and bouncing off points for fan fiction, you have so much potential crammed into this world and “season 1” as it got called originally, is the PERFECT point of just enough character shown (even those shown less then I would have liked) amount to allow for expanding upon the characters, expanding on the characters personality’s, the base canon is the just that, THE BASE, use it as reference point, use it as a guide for the character, to understand their general character, and if you don’t understand them, ask fans of said character who have stayed up ANALYZING THEM! The world of murder drones is a “dumb thing that is fricking cool” if we are to use uzi’s own words.

Like LOOK AT IT. Earth’s destruction, the manor, the entirety of copper-9 aside from a few locations still being basically a fill in the blank that now has a solver symbol shaped hole in it! Use that land as you please, create lore, what other human settlements were there? What other experiments might have taken place? What potentially interesting things happened? Do other squads actually exist or was it a lie made by solver? Or were the other squads clones of the originals? Were they no name drones from the manor days, did they get given names, the story potential is RIPE here people!

I haven’t been this interested in things like this for a long time and each time I see someone point out a new detail, I get excited. And that’s not even covering crossover potential. Murder drones world is like an advanced level color it in book, it gives you such a vivid picture but you can color it in to bring it even more together.

Write that fan fiction, sit down at your own computer, open that google doc (or better yet ellipsus doc) pour your heart into it, im doing it myself for my own lil au idea I had, Im drawing up an oc and her own…power of sorts, its fun, its engaging, it gets the brain going.

And that right there, murder drones is a lovely piece of media I will forever enjoy, because there will ALWAYS be people to enjoy it as long as we the people who are fans of it make things for it.

Piccrews, songs (without ai), battle themes, art (digital or traditional) via a pen for either, or if digital, maybe you’re free-balling it with a finger or a mouse, it is a world RICH in potential and the fans should be excited as fan projects keep coming forth.

Also, personally it’s weird to see this whole…season two nonsense for a indie webseries. Especially when we want more creatives to do it at their pace when they are putting their heart into it, because the typical industry doesnt LET THEM.

And to liam, though I doubt you will see this. Thank you for creating this amazing world, take a break, and have fun doing whatever you make next or decide to relax after doing what you dreamed of. Thank you for making a series that a unmasked me is enjoying so much.

Ok I know no one cares especially since there’s kinda likely it going to never be another bayo game because reasons but here are my lists of things I would appreciate to be touched on more

1. I would like some better explanation on Luka and viola being part faerie (even though one is likely only part faerie because of likely being a resurrection)

2. Just give Luka and bayonetta some more scenes. Listen I don’t give a fuck about ships. And I know I’ll be hanged for this but I never got the feeling Jeanne and cereza were together. Like it’s more evident in bayo 2. And listen I’m not surprised that they’d try to pair Luka and cereza. Because Luka does eventually develop a crush. Now does it make it any less weird that a bayonetta gets with Luka despite the fact that in probably a lot of timelines Luka met cereza when she was taken out of her coma, when she was probably at the lowest mental age 18? No. Listen it makes sense that bayo 1 and bayo 2 doesn’t get with Luka, because they’re different from bayonetta 3 because bayonetta 3 is heavily implied to be tiny cereza. The tiny cereza that bayo 1 created a split timeline with. So of course the experiences with Luka are severely different. Maybe bayo 3 met Luka (not lukeon, it’s pretty clear that bayo 3 has either forgotten about him, never met him, or never believed that Luka and lukeon were the same soul or whatever. This lore is confusing so it’s likely wrong.) when he was waaaay older. And not like 7 or something. I just want more scenes with them being cute instead of Luka low-key being a pervert. And nothing else connecting them basically. I get it they were adorable towards the end but there wasn’t a lot of that going on. Like I’m sure you just wanted viola out of the way and to make sure that Luka doesn’t get hurt but you’ve seen him get out of tricky situations (yes I know bayo 1,2,3 aren’t the same same person but shhhh)

3. I would like to go back to the lumen sage arc. There’s so much we don’t know about the lumen sages are it’s kinda weird that we never see balder attempt to rebuild the lumens even in his evil state. Like a lot more sages would help you with your goal man. Like is it possible that balder’s bad experience with the whole being separated from your community, lover and child enough to make him not want to practice or even take pride in his culture? Yeah. But like we never really explore the how of Rosa and balder’s relationship. And it’s interesting how Rosa takes pride in being an umbra despite being locked up. Also something we don’t acknowledge is that because of the split timeline thing. Bayo 3 likely never experienced the loss of the left eye, and also the loss of her father. Hell she probably didn’t experience the killing god twice. Listen it’s possible that after cereza wasn’t sealed away that they eventually killed balder. But it’d be interesting to see father dearest again, merhaps trying to bring back the lumen and also tries to bring back the umbra? Hmmm? Maybe balder would make a proposal that he and cereza make a secret magic school that teaches both the umbran and lumen ways. The school of eclipse or something. (I’m thinking students are taught both practices instead of one or the other so that way if there’s a mass extinction event that there’s no disproportionate balance of power.) (though of course because the reason the why the witches have contracts with demons is so that way they could kill angels it would never work. Because then what benefits would the demons get. Though I guess they could just sorta do what they did before war and like be more involved with each other.)

4. More friends for viola, I think proper non family (yes unfortunately Enzo is family) characters that viola interacts with would be really nice and probably help flesh out her character. Because now she’s being awkward because years of war have prevented her from developing social skills. (Also low-key the good Connor siguard in the opening scene, you know the one with the gun was kinda hot. And it’s unfortunate that we never acknowledge that) (also the fact that it was just kinda this one siguard decided to fuck up the universe is so funny actually)

5. Ok I know I’m probably the loudest person demanding we go back to exploring the umbran and lumen history, but I also think we need to acknowledge the human world a little more. I would like to see Enzo’s wife and kids. Actually a quest or section where we can see Enzo be kinda sweet would be nice. Enzo seems like the type to talk about a lot of big game but folds quickly when his kids cutely asks for a lollipop before dinner. Also I do also see him defending his kids to the end of the earth. He will go against a Karen parent in a verbal battle if their kid were bullying his. I just want to make him more fleshed out. (Something that would be kinda funny of an idea is that viola discovers that Enzo tap dances and performs tap dancing and is pretty good at it too. Like I’m sure that Nintendo will tone down the cuntiness because Nintendo are cowards. But I’m imagining that Enzo doing his tap dancing routine is at least on the top 10 of cuntiest scenes in the entirety of this hypothetical game that will likely never exist)

6. I would like a better idea what the bayonetta family does for a living. Like yes they do jobs for Enzo so that way he gathers information and does labor. But we kinda never know what those jobs are. And I understand that it’s never put into much depth because we’re always going on a religious experience. But this goes with my want for proper exploration of the human world I just want to know about these characters lives and history.

7. We need to Luka writing and publishing stories and interact with his coworkers. WE NEED MORE NORMAL HUMAN INTERACTIONS.

8. I would like to see Rodin forge his weapons, also upgrades to weapons would be so cool actually and since it’s likely we’ll never get weapon variety with viola, I think upgrading weapons would help with customization.

9. More people in the gates of hell. Like yes it’s a secret bar that mostly criminals hang around in, but in bayo 1’s journals we do know other people chill at the gates of hell.

10. Gates of hell boxing ring sounds pretty cool and would literally explain why there’s a giant practice arena in the middle. Also how the hell do you actually get inside? We know there’s a literal door, Enzo walks out and there’s no way Enzo knows magic… unless ENZO WAS THE LAST LUMEN SAGE ALL ALONG, GRANTING HIM THE ABILITY TO KNOW ONLY THE MOST BASIC OF MAGIC!

11. Does Rodin sleep? Where does he sleep?

12. I kinda want viola to take up making plush toys. And that’s how she summons demons, kinda like her mom in cereza and the lost demon.

13. I’m a little surprised that no one has tried to actually contracts with faeries, like here’s the thing, the obvious answer is that faeries are such assholes that more respectably person would knowingly do that. I would say maybe viola could do that but I’m sure they’d fucking hate her.

14. I wonder if any of the bayonettas/jeane (because by the end of the fight cereza would’ve been in a river in most timelines) buried Rosa’s body. Like halfway through writing this I remembered oh yeah the demons drag their body down but no it’s actually their soul. And we know that tombs that hold witches exist. And I’m sure even balder in his most evilest of states would bury his wife.

15. Playable Luka would be nice especially since he’s a furry now.

16. An actual proper storyline with Jeanne where she is playable, has a separate story from bayonetta, I can move the camera around, would be nice.

17. Zero is a weird character that I would love some more references to.

18. Viola gives off such open world character energy, like maybe something kinda like the new Spider-Man games (I have no idea if that’s a good comparison, Ive only ever watched jacksepticeye play the miles morales Spider-Man game.) like I know realistically it would be a bad idea to have 2 other characters have stories that is basically the normal bayonetta formal that is walk down corridors, battle, corridor, battle, running away, battle. Especially story wise but viola seems like a character that would thrive in an open world game. Of course if you did that no one would play it because everyone hates viola.

19. I just want viola to get better costumes. Listen I get it viola has went through war, good and different clothing is a hard thing to find. I think something that would have made this better was if during viola’s sections that she would encounter buildings that have clothes and if the character really wanted to they could take those clothes. And viola would leave money on the counter for the owner despite the fact that the world is ending and IF the world got restored then that money and clothing wouldn’t matter. Anyways I think in the newer games it’s just going to be buying proper outfits OR buying from the in game locals.

20. Ok I’m also getting exhausted from multiverse madness but since bayonetta made a whole game surrounding it, i think it’d be an interesting story that portals to universes are opening up the gang needs to close them up before more people get hurt walking through them and getting displaced. Kinda like glitches in reality. I’m honestly just making an open world bayonetta game. Which honestly would be refreshing honestly. Like I do have gripes with open world games, but also the walking and then battle simulator gets boring eventually.

21. Literally any possible explanation as to how cereza is alive, it could be lazy and it could just be a different bayonetta. I’ll take it, just don’t give us a bayonetta and never talk about it.

22. Viola meeting the grandparents even of just them being spirits.

23.ghosts would be such a fun thing to acknowledge.

24. I was going to say that minor deities would be nice to acknowledge but that’s debatably what the angels and demons are. Sooo maybe but this one would be the one I be the least disappointing about not existing.

25. Polyamorous cereza who is dating both Luka and Jeanne, this will not quell anyone’s complaints about how Jeanne and cereza not being end game but it’s too fucking late now so might as well commit. Also does cereza seem like the type for a monogamous relationship? No.

26. I know there’s no point in it but I would love to see viola’s beast within form, kinda similar to classical bayonetta’s but of course different. Also we really had a loss when viola never had a form where her and Cheshire merged like bayonetta does with her demons. (Of course that’s likely because there’s no contract between them)

27. So do you think the two Cheshire demons are the same? Like do you think the Cheshire from the lost demon decided to possess viola’s Cheshire doll? (That Cheshire doll was likely a gift from her mom)

Now will any of these happen? Probably not. The last mainline game got mediocre reviews but also was the best selling game. (As far as I know) I’m not sure if the fandom is big enough to make an official 4th game. I do think the franchise can move on from Hideki kamiya, it’s possible to make a game that’s just as cunty as the original and expands the story without the original creator. Now would the game be to kamiya’s liking? Idk, but I do think after 4 games and still a kinda confusing story, I think we’ll be fine. It only gets worse from here.

Hello! I am OK1610 from ao3. I loved Riddle V.I.Z.ion so much! Such an amazing story with great characters! I loved the aliens especially! Your story inspired me to weave my own tale for these characters as well as a design element for Diz (the support beams) for my refs of the aliens (credited in the post)! I cannot wait to read more about them and their pasts!

Literally had to spin in circles at work when you said my story inspired you, was not prepared; I’m honoured <3 and I hope you have fun creating! You art is so perfect!!! I love how the style is still reminiscent of the game art but far more detailed and much more fun to look at—it’s so vibrant! They’re all super adorable (rotating Quiz in my mind rn) and it looks like such a sweet AU—I’m an absolute sucker for stories where things end well (which I don’t think anyone would guess from my own works XD.) Would be super intrigued to know more when you’re ready to share!

(Definite spoilers for my future Riddle School fic below the cut!)

Dutifully adding a tally to Riddle Classified’s column! I swear the title is going to be the bit I decide last with this thing, it’s certainly giving me the most trouble XD

As for sneak peaks, hmmm; it’s a little early in the process for me to feel like I’ve got much that’s actually interesting to share, but I could tell you about the first chapter? It’s post defection, a few years into the V.I.Z.ion Project, and involves Quiz being kidnapped by bounty hunters/pirates. He has to stall for time, turning them against each other as a distraction, while Viz and Diz sneak around and kill off the people stationed at other outposts before picking him up. 

It’s told from the perspective of the pirates, who really have no idea who or what Quiz is, and is set in a snowstorm to really play up a theme of isolation/being trapped. Horror movie vibes. They know something is going on outside, and they know their contacts are going cold one by one, but they can’t figure out why—maybe it’s just the storm like their leader says, maybe it’s something else. They’re stuck with this unknown alien who’s sounding way too plausible when he says the roof might cave in, or there’s something outside, who talks them into telling him the scary stories they’ve heard about rogue soldiers in the area. If they go outside and try to run, they’ll definitely die of exposure, but if they stay? Unclear. And surely nothing out there could be alive. The noises are the wind, just the wind, they’re not in danger, nothing’s getting closer, everything’s fine.

It’s a good opportunity to play with Quiz’s unique skill set of appearing very harmless to manipulate people, gives me the chance to do some exposition on the alien’s species lore, and—most vitally—sets a pretty sinister tone for the V.I.Z.ion crew actually in action! A good jumping off point for what’s to come!

Another chapter I’ve got planned as a definite inclusion (though I don’t know where it’ll go yet; probably late in the collection) is them kidnapping Phil. It’s from Phil’s perspective, and I’ve honestly just been galaxy braining over it for a few nights now; he just barely escapes them when they see him first (runs through populated places they can’t follow, gets on a bus, his dog attacks Quiz when he gets home) and then spends the next few days as Dib from Invader Zim trying to convince his family that Aliens Are Definitely Real And Also After Him. They don’t believe him. One night he wakes up to find that everyone else is knocked out, and the aliens are in the house searching for him. He doesn’t get away this time. Very stressful times for Phil—I don’t think I’ve ever written a non-stressful time for Phil. I don’t think I’ve written a non-stressful time for any of these characters.

With this chapter, I’m hoping to do something with the perspective shift, which is another reason I think it should come late in the formatting. While the aliens are very much villain protagonists in this, having everything be through their eyes will eventually make them familiar—maybe not exactly relatable, but certainly comfortable. The jarring dissonance of exchanging that highly militarised, desensitised perspective to an actually human one—the P.O.V of someone we, the audience, know—when he’s terrified and being hunted by them appeals to me. Particularly as, at that point, I will have written scenes of the V.I.Z.ion aliens interacting with humans from their own perspective, and the difference between what they think and what people think can be thrown into even sharper relief.

I realise I’ve told you about the only two chapters that aren’t from the alien’s direct perspectives, so sorry about that! But I hope they made for a satisfying sneak peak <3 maybe this isn’t what you meant at all… I’ve never actually done a sneak peak before!

horror.... i think he has much self-interest so he'll be on whatever faction that guarantees his safety, or he'll just not get involved at all (very difficult for reasons, considering neutrals are killed off and transformers are highly avoided by other planets/races for their infamous war). i think it'd be interesting for him to be a double agent, and he'll just say "oh actually i'm a spy for [faction]" to save his own hide after the war. he'd definitely be a beastformer, specifically the one who can literally camouflage as an organic animal - it fits his self-preservation nature. i think he'd be a bear or a rat (rat is a funnier option since, you know, he rats out both sides lol).

now killer and dust are more interesting because at least they have very specific circumstances/morals to consider. in idw, both the cons and the bots are war criminals so they both do terrible stuff, but the cons sure are the worse ones. i'd say killer will be a decepticon, but an mto specficially (made-to-order). basically made for war, onlined in war and expected to die in war. i think it would be interesting to make him a k-class, a kamikaze unit intended to explode and take everyone else with them once they transform (they transform into bombs/nukes basically), but then later a supersoldier experiment because there was an error with his construction and he didn't detonate upon falling. maybe he will get reformatted as a tank of sort, or more interestingly, a gun for someone else to hold. it fits his themes and narratives. alternatively, with his stages, he can be a multi-changer with four modes (since there's someone in the decepticon elites with six modes oh lawd) - that could be interesting too.

dust, hmmm.... if we go by his backstory of going mad from killing his entire home, it'll be fair to consider him a forged transformers, someone "naturally" made. he could also be an outlier, basically an x-man in transformers lore. he can have some storm powers or something that allowed him to wipe out his home so devastatingly. i think he will be a decepticon if we go by idw lore - he will find the message "peace through tyranny" resonating with his worldview since he has to brute force his way into creating his own peace/world. since the decepticons are mostly flight frames, maybe dust can be a fighter jet (discriminated in peace time), preferably a stealth bomber (i have a bias towards them oughhhh). he would definitely be regarded highly as an outlier for sure, and his reputation as someone who leveled a city will gain him some respect in the army.

hmmm i feel like i could put many ocs here, but i think i'm gonna go with 36. there's a really interesting duality between villain and victim in his story; there are a lot of characters whose lives he makes miserable, he is genuinely incredibly unpleasant to be around, selfish, uses others for his own gain and pretty much doesn't care about anyone's feelings but his own. + he keeps getting into scandals for pretending to be an angel (which makes the angel community despise and try to cancel him lol). but, at the same time, he was and is actively getting groomed by his manager, was hired while underage and kept docile with drugs (oh yeah he is an idol/singer).

also interesting re: the angel thing is that he is an abomination, an animated doll imbued with a soul, created by frank ingermann (frankie stine). this process was originally developed by a company called neotecnics-c....to create realistic sex androids lmao. however, it is very much banned for the average joe, and especially banned for frankie, who used to be an employee at neotecnics and then got sued (along with his boyfriend raymond stine) for stealing company parts and blueprints to create artworks 😭. (<- had to drop this lore) sooo, let's just say abominations are not very popular in society, constantly persecuted, and 36 doesn't even really have a family to fall back on, because his dad is an insane madman who only created him as art, and his sister 75 hates his guts because... he's a gross little leech. can't blame her.

so yeah i love him to bits but he is kind of challenging to write since so many parts of him are very conflicting. yes, he IS a traumatized little meowmeow, but he's also a greedy fame-hungry bastard 😍

YAY i was hoping this question would come up :3

ok so first of all, this whole oc project (we call it junkyard) is a collaborative world i created/built on with my friends (@/mirosqueen, @/camijhk and @/goatsrulez). we don't really have one overarching plot, it's a large world filled with, by now, well over 100 different ocs, most of them connected in one way or another.

the main location in this world is trash city, in the fictional us state west delovania. the secondary location is east rirewood in west jerxico (neighboring state) (tho this place is mostly created and populated by cami only lolol, the main action takes place in trash city)

the whole story takes place in an alternate history world, mainly defined by one crucial moment in ancient history - some gods, after creating earth's beautiful creatures, couldn't keep it in their pants and started having kids with them en masse. this meant the creation of millions of demigods, all with their own powers, who would soon start to create even MORE fucked up species.

nowadays, the genes are more spread out; meaning that there's barely any real demigods anymore (one rare example still alive today is jesus christ, actually!), but instead a bunch of people with varying degrees of sensitivity to magic. there's two types of magic, omni and nihi, one might define them as light and dark magic, but they're actually, more accurately, "tangible" and "abstract" magic. both forms of magic require a different "substance" - energy and nonergy (<- basically the absence of energy, which is a type of energy itself). while citizens don't really understand themselves how it works, it's commonly illustrated using hole theory - aka, each person has a certain number and size of holes in their soul through which energy/nonergy can enter. people more sensitive to magic obviously have more, so their souls contain more magic (which doesn't automatically mean they're more capable of doing magic, they also need to learn how to control it, obviously). the big difference is that energy is actively consumed (food, water, sleep), while nonergy can't be controlled and has to enter the body voluntarily. nihi magic originally wasn't meant to be used by living organisms, as the whole concept of living things is omni-aligned (since bodies require energy to live). but, it is possible to use it as, say, a human, as long as you basically keep your body as tired and starved as possible at all times 😍 so your energy levels don't interfere with ur nonergy levels (since both repel each other)

^^^^^that's a quick explanation of our magic system but yeah basically every person has low levels of either omni or nihi magic, but most can't use them. those that can, though, are obviously considered magic individuals, and they have their own whole ass underground society like in harry potter... staying undedected as most are just...not aware of the history, or that people can have magic abilities LMAO. the biggest magic university is located in trash city, of all places. this is because, for the longest time, trash city, as the name suggests, was literally just a huge landfill. it wasn't until decades later that, blame overpopulation, the city was considered as a new building project! to allow people to live there, they pretty much just... built a city on top of the piles and piles of waste, not even cleaning it up beforehand. this caused the water to be contiminated and gave trash city the reputation of being filled with lower class lunatics.

buuut! one day, the city decided to fund a big cleanup operation, digging up the decades of waste underground, which causes a huge economic boom in the city as rich people and celebrities start moving there! fearing gentrification, however, the citizens start protesting, and eventually force the government to halt the operations abruptly - leaving a giant hole in the middle of town, separating rich from poor.

there's more to get into, including the underwater town of the boreal sea kingdom, or the desert, or the semi-christian gold children cult that is planning to restore a "natural hierarchy" while the leader pretends to be the (actually long dead) christian god.... buuuut yeah that's the gist of it! this is several years worth of "just throwing shit at the wall hoping it sticks" and "fuck it we ball" mindset :3

Like, I'm sure that Dabi will win, simply because Overhaul is too much of a bitch to be able to beat him, but he is at a disadvantage here. I wonder if that fight might activate Dabi's magic? an honest review of minisode 3: tomorrow purely from musical observation (not proofread)

opening remarks: i'm one day late and that is definitely still valid. given that there is currently a boycott for big 4 from april 1st to may 1st, i've downloaded the album off of spotify so thank you to the developer who created the software.

is there a reason why both the chaos and name chapters only have two releases on their belt whilst the dream chapters have 3? in a way, i think this is telling of how fast the trend is changing here in kpop and pop culture music in general. i could say that kpop groups are literally cloud chasing the newest tiktok trending music given that le sserafim's newest release is full of familiar sounds rather than establishing their sound. i sure hope this album has a clear way to tell what it wants to tell because i have a pretty big expectation when it comes to txt, especially since i came here blind and deaf cause i don't know anything about this comeback apart from the concept and promotional photos.

speaking of that, concept-wise it seems interesting. i'm currently in a more neutral side because i just realized just how biased i can become even if it doesn't meet my expectations. i like how they basically embrace their fantasy-esque story retelling on things happening to individuals in real life. based on the txt.ibighit, the concept of this release is about past promises, salvation, and hope for tomorrow, which i've felt in a few of the concept photos. i, once again, feel disappointed to know the creative difference in between the concept photos and the music video. it kinda feels like false advertising as i realize the dichotomy of it. as i enter into the sonic world of this album with restrain and neutrality, i hope that the songs can help to invest me with them too.

1.i'll see you there tomorrow: what in the illit is this? it sounds rhythmically and melodically complex at the start, which i like. but it became this light hyperpop-esque edm sound. i think this will be a challenging first song to here, especially with kpop fans who are not familiar with "strange beats". the bridge part kind of reminds me of daft punk in a way with beomgyu's voice on the vocoder filter. soobin's timbre is the highlight of this song for me because it has been a long time since i hear low-voice soobin, so i'm glad to hear it here. i like how complex the percussion of the song is, especially in combination with the bass playing.

2.- --- -- --- .-. .-. --- .-- ("tomorrow" in morse code): i know it's literally only morse code and it's definitely lore-based, but why do they bring back the morse code now when the last time we hear it is in crown/dream chapter star? hmmm

3.deja vu: i've heard from people that this title track doesn't have a bridge. that is definitely a minus for me. but let me here it first before continuing to write this.

at first listen, this reminds me of a japanese release of a kpop group. i was reminded of stray kids's slump, maybe because it's the synth that they're using. i like the little sprinkle of a floaty synth behind it as it seems like there is ghost (positively?) haunting the song, that's why it sounded a bit mystical and isekai-ish. i like that little interlude as it enters verse 2. okay, i now understand why there are people who complained about the lack of a bridge cause this song has the potential to be a more tear-jerker than it is now if there is a bridge.

i will compare this song with bts' spring day (which for me gives off similar vibes, especially with their current situation mirroring bts during their time releasing ynwa). i'm always near in tears whenever i hear spring day ever since it was released and i believe it is because of taehyung's bridge and how the song pays off what it is building throughout the listening experience, especially in the music video version with the added band interlude. deja vu has the potential to be txt's take on spring day (some may say it already is), but, for me, the lack of bridge = lack of payoff = lack of grit to the song. that second interlude with the guitar and added like another set of lyrics can definitely alleviate and add that grit i'm searching for. i also think that maybe strings can also be added to aid the tear-jerking sense of the song. but it is synthy so idk how it will be connected (maybe this is an encouragement to use acoustic/natural sound more than midi). i also think the short pre-verse also contributes to the lack of grit this song potentially has because it hasn't fully develop the transition between the verse and the chorus.

other than that, this is the first hybe song where the vocal processing doesn't sink the vocals into the instrumental (until the deja vu part in the chorus). yeonjun's voice has this yearning in it that is definitely to match the vibe of the song. he is definitely the highlight for me. i'm also not surprised at the lack of beomgyu here because this song is high even for me and especially for the boys. beomgyu's songs are the brooding, darker one but this one is more melancholic to hopeful so it is expected to not hear much of him.

a missed potential to add a freaking heartbreaking bridge and a much more grand departure. if they maybe get more inspirations from aespa's welcome to my world then i can hear the track in its fullest potential.

4.miracle: different types of me hearing the world miracle: (1) life could get better~ (suju's miracle) n (2) i believe in miracle (wayv's miracle).

the start of this song reminds me of bts' love myself before changing to enhypen's tfw. okay, it sounds more like those feel-good pop rock songs kinda like enhypen's orange flower or something that i called "road trip songs". it definitely embraces more of rock txt as it delves into something i usually listen at the start of my alt/indie music listening arc. idk why but hearing the synth synchopation at the verse reminds me of the game i'm currently playing, hyper light drifter (which is one of the sound i associated with my fic, subterranean homesick alien). i like the instrumental break at the part where i can say is the bridge, but maybe like a musical breakdown/slowdown where the song slows as it starts with acapella/minimal instrument before rising to the last chorus (that's a beomgyu part and he will definitely shine in that) and i like the cymbals bash at the end as the song closes out.

5.the killa (i belong to you): okay, guitar ooh the latin sound (which i expected seeing the title). it definitely is riding high (maybe dry) of tinnitus with their latin influence. a more lo-fi reggaeton, unlike tinnitus. tbh idk what to say because this is so similar to tinnitus but a bit mellower with the sensuality. i can feel the sensuality with the harmony. with how similar this song is with tinnitus, it also shares its weakness for it to be too droning especially because of the more lo-fi approach. i also don't know what to say on making this song better because i think it is meant to be a song that drones, like those 70's 12" disco songs that can be played for 10 minutes. maybe, if they consider it, making this song more bossa nova it can give off a more unique feeling. surely a bit more sensual but it sounds more like they are serenading you or something. i can also guess from the fact that this is a yeonbin song that it might even have innuendos in the lyrics. another safe entry for me.

6.quarter life: with the title of quarter life and the fact that this a unit song, i thought that THIS song is the yeonbin song because they are in/approaching their quarter life. so i didn't expect the killa to be their songs while beomtyunkai get this song.

i can definitely hear the same influence of this with miracle. the same inspiration maybe because of its rock vibes. it's like the quintessential coming-of-age song you hear in those american coming-of-age movies (say edge of seventeen, perks of being a wallflower type of movies). i can hear the mid 2010s influence of those feel-good songs but i hate how the song abruptly stops anhajkfhaj pls beomgyu sounds so good at the ending but they just decide to finish it. this song deserves a freaking bridge and too hear tyun belt his voice at the last chorus. ughh why are you making a song that can be 3 minutes long so short? me is mad.

7.deja vu (anemoia remix): even i am intrigued with why they decided to put a remix in the main release instead of a one-off single. but after listening to the song, i definitely understand why.

this version of the song is the one that i'm willing to pay to watch live (but i can't tho cause i'm boycotting hybe) because for me, this song doesn't deserve to have a choreo and i rather watch them sing their hearts out. in a way, this version of the song is the happier ending compared to the original's more melancholic. hearing the main synth being put here in it's original form makes it weird, like, you couldn't adjust the synth with the band background? idk, like make it sound more like an organ instead of an 80's synth.

even though in the context of which one i want to watch live, it's this remix. the original deserves to be the title track because i can't imagine this version of the song having to use the choreo. in kpop sense, using this version as the title track will actually erase the other pivotal part of kpop: the performance aspect. yet, i could definitely see this song being performed in the festival circuit (hopefully they do that)

closing remarks: concept-wise and now sound-wise, the concept photos captures perfectly of what the album sounds like (but i just dislike how the music video is different than the concept photos). other than that, especially coming from freefall, this album is definitely underwhelming for me. did it meet my expectations? it exceeds it actually but i just have the feeling that it isn't optimal enough.

to have txt embracing their pop rock side with soft rock now (especially with balletcore, fantasy, n rocker fallen angels as part of the concept) definitely defines them as the rock representative that i have assigned them too (along with woodz for the more grittier alt sounds and dreamcatcher with the heavy metal rock songs) and it shows in how i think their creative director knows that txt = rock, which validates my txt as a rock band au so much but i digress. this side of rock that they're showing is definitely the rock that can be found on tiktok--those songs you hear in those feel good tiktok which is imo a very beginner-friendly side of rock because of its pop n rnb influence. i also like that they're experimenting with i'll see you tomorrow, especially in the verses but the chorus sounds too generic.

i actually really describing this release their spring incarnate song. it's just a shame that they didn't do more with it. and also 17 min ep for 7 songs? i'm actually mad cause that is a freaking scam and the fact that none, NONE, of the song has sung bridges is just *sighs*

I really like cute notebooks, planners, scrapbooks, and calligraphy sets! I don't have a creative bone in my body when it comes to writing legibly, much less decorating planners or scrapbooking, but it seems like a good hobby!

Another a childish thing I like? I really like my happy stims! It's a sore point for me in real life, especially if other people are in the room when I stim, but I like flapping my arms or jumping up and down. The happy chemicals create more happy chemicals in an unstoppable feedback loop that has originated since childhood. :D

Oh gosh, please don't be mad at me, it's been years since I've read a book that wasn't a reference text or a manual. Can fanfictions count? From my most recent memory, even though it's been a while since I've last read it (but I have read it upwards to 10+ times over the years)... Snakeskins by Lsunnyc.

I know you like worldbuilding and lore, guess what that fanfic is composed of! (It's also one of my main inspirations to how I write nowadays. I really look up to that author and you should check them out and their ao3 if you're interested!). It's a Hetalia/Harry Potter crossover fanfic and it's... very long, but hey. It's really well written.

But an actual book? Gosh... No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai? That's one of the last few books I remember reading and that was definitely a trip. I related to the main character a bit too much and the subject matter, trajectory of the character... It really hits and there's a reason why the book has the reputation it has.

Why writing? What inspires you/ got you into it in the first place?

Okies, so I know in the past I think I admitted to having started posting fic in 2012 and my first fandom was for Tokyo Mew Mew. However! My first ever fanfic was for Sharkboy and Lavagirl and it was written on yellow legal pad and will never see the light of day ahaha!

The reason I bring that up is because when I was younger and school would let out for the summer, our class would have this ritual of throwing away our tattered old notebooks that we weren't planning on using for the next school year into the recycled bins. However, before I left for home, I would take all of the notebooks that had been dropped into the recycle bins, take them home, rip out the old notes and doodles, and then keep them over the summer.

So that I can write in them.

I started in fifth grade when I realized that it would be a waste just to let those notebooks be recycled when there were some that had tons of clean pages??? In them??? That's why I saved those poor notebooks.

The thing was, I didn't realize that I had like half a dozen or so notebooks that had clean pages that I realized... I could do things with the notebooks. So, over the course of the summers from 5-7 grade, I would write short stories (seriously, short as in like one paragraph long onto a single page and call it a day). It wasn't until the summer of 7th grade that I realized... wait, why write stories only in the summer? Why not write during the whole year instead?

At that point, I amassed a lot of notebooks and scraps of papers filled with stories. Somewhere along the way, I shifted from purely original fiction to fanfiction because it was through my first official fandom (Tokyo Mew Mew) that I realized fanfiction was a thing.

I totally thought, upon reading my first fanfic in ye old ffnet, that it was actually canon material until I checked the comments and other stories. And thus, my eyes were opened.

So yeah, come eighth grade and beyond, I began writing more fanfics in my free time and eventually, in high school, I began bringing my fanfic notebook into class so that I could work on them during breaks.

I think what really inspires me to write would be because... there are entire swathes of the story, of the behind scenes, that we never get to see in canon. You can infer a lot from subtext or hints dropped from characters alluding to events, character perceptions, etc. but there's a difference from accepting the subtext or canon as it is and... Taking what you know and then adding depth to it and transforming it into something new.

I don't know... breathing life into characters who already has an established character is so exhilarating to me! There are people out there who roll their eyes at fanfic, but like??? Writing a character and making them stay in character while also transforming them in the process??? It's creation in one of its more pure forms while also paying homage to the original creator.

There's a quote somewhere... maybe on tumblr? and this person said that writing fanfic or any sort of transformative work is like playing with the sandbox that the original creator has left behind. That's what I'm doing, I'm playing in a sandbox.

And I'm having a lot of fun with it! :D

Happy WBW! In honor of Idalia and her looming approach on the SouthEast US, what is the most dangerous natural threat to your world?

Hmmm now how to go about answering this question. Also sorry I am a day late and a dollar short lol.

An easy answer would be the outside forces trying to pry their way into Hypnamnia (I finally figured out a name for the damn dream world lol!) that can create crack in reality which could lead to a total collapse, restart, or something entirely different. Which also could be boiled down to, the rules governing the reality falling apart or being broken long enough and being unaddressed.

The tougher answer would be The Board themselves and the passing of cycles. The Board is easy enough, if displeased enough or if their interest grow waning they could just "unplug" everything. Existence gone in a moment. No great fan fare, no calamity, just nothing. For now they are placated and their goals, whatever they may be, are being fulfilled so everything is roses. Cycles passing are the really dangerous thing for anyone not on The Board or on a similar level of reality.

Hypnamnia doesn't experience time in the way we do (similar to the way they don't experience death) it isn't something The Board understands so time just doesn't really exist. However, you have things that start out in places that do and it's just easier for everyone involved if there is a measurement of when things are suppose to happen and whatnot. Instead of years and seasons they have Cycles. The main residential hub of the reality is on the shores of a vast and possibly infinite ocean. As a Cycle is coming to a close the waters of the said ocean start to recede. So Dreamers and the other beings base their lives and moments on the pulling back of the sea.

That was just a bit of lore I wanted to share because I had an excuse lol. The main point of Cycles though is that when they are coming to a close this means The Board is pulling back their hold over everything to meet up and go over any larger changes that were put to vote last Cycle and a Chairman being chosen (For the longest time now this has been Dave). Where the danger comes in is if there are the changes that could be placed into effect, old rules being scrubbed from the record, if a new Chairman is chosen, and there is a moment in these meetings where an upstart or bad faith actor could use the waning hold to insert new concepts into the reality. The most dangerous natural disaster is the uncertainty of everything and unless you are on The Board or manage to have veeeeeery good standings, this is something you will never know about until it is too late.

More of a metaphysical danger.

YESSS. i love my little fontaine rat. He's over two years old at this point. I created him during the 2.0 patch update after watching the teyvat chapter trailer and say lyney & lynette and immediately got major circus vibes.

his own lore was pretty vague at first due to lack of information on fontaine so these new updates have helped me flesh out / tweak his existing lore:

He was the son of a wealthy noble family in fontaine but was born very sick and with his seemingly unsavory mutations. His family kept things very hush hush about his existence and treated his twin sibling as their only child in public.

He was basically locked in the family estate and became very interested in medicine at a young age hoping that he could 'fix' himself and could go outside like everyone else. though unfortunately his medical treatment started becoming too expensive for his family to keep up with, and instead of going into financial ruin they literally sold him off to a sketchy traveling circus where he became a child freak show attraction kept in horrible conditions

im still kinda vague on how the cannibalism comes im. i'm think that part of his 'performance' he was supposed to be this violent beastly cannibal rat man and they really did force him the eat the meat of the people who the circus ran across with in their criminal dealings.

he still does get taken in by the fatui and becomes a spy fronting as a circus ringmaster. but now after the circus has a run in with arlecchino he is taken in by the house of the hearth. so he's a lot less affiliated with dottore now, he probably still got his top surgery & pyro delusion from him tho

along with nikolai, i have silvanus who is nikolai's twin sibling who works as an assistant & court transcriber for neuvillette:

WES BALFOUR & CONNOR ANGEL, well this one could be so freaking easy it's not even funny– the superhuman child, " demon ", of two vampires, and a cult created werewolf? i think that just explains itself. hm, where to begin here— going off of connor's lore alone, which to be fair its been a long time since i've watched angel as a whole, we could easily slip in the fact that cults are involved with both connor and wes! connor was sought after by a vampire cult if i remember right when his mother darla was pregnant with him. we could maybe tie those cults together? make it not a "vampire cult", but just a general cult; idk make some au where they're raised together in a cult ! that or we could have a general meet n greet thread, and they could end up being unusual friends and allies especially when connor needs one that isn't his abductor and "father" : holtz.

BARRET & MIKHAIL, i'd place this straight in FF7, make mik some kid of sector seven's bottom side who's dad was part of an avalanche sect, same with his much older brother, and was given up to keep him safe and was raised by uhhh marle maybe?. ironically he doesn't end up "safe" though in sector seven, and ends up as a little delivery boy for the avalanche members passing along messages, materia, and other goods. but we can also put barrett in TLOU, make avalanche it's own thing in that universe with similar goals only likely aiming to free the people of FEDRA, but mik still being a little delivery boy for them. either way mikhail would love barret.

ARTHUR MORGAN & NICK GRIMES, i've only ever played about twenty minutes of RDR2, but i know it's about cowboys and crimes, !!!! we could easily fit nick in there somewhere, possibly follow my canon for him in his usual canon and have him looking for his missing father after they were separated due to unfortunate circumstances. nick'd range anywhere from 12 - 18 for this i think? keeping him a " kid ", cause i like the idea of him being " the kid ". maybe arthur could help with reuniting them? alternatively we could put arthur in the walking dead, which is probably also pretty easy ! hm, cowboy in a modern apocalypse? oh man, have him find and take in a kid nick grimes after he gets separated from his dad? yeah that'd be some good shit, arthur could teach him how to shoot if he'd be down, since nick when he's young doesn't know how to shoot a gun, and usually just wanders around with a bat.

PETER PARKER & ELI HALE, this would be a weirder one considering eli's a freaking werewolf !!! but uhhhh lmao, idgaf it popped up and personally their personalities would mesh pretty well if i do say so myself. could easily just say: fuck it, he has a werewolf mutation!!! and that it's genetic and runs thru the hale family. anyways, first thought is eli's moved to the big city after his dad's death and he almost gets mugged? and mister spiderman comes 2 the rescue but a little too late, cause we got wolfed out eli picking up his backpack and putting away his glowing eyes and fangs at the last second. my second thought is hmmm, they could meet via FEAST? honestly eli might be in a tough spot after his dad died, and refusing to take help from those around him and just ditch the west coast for the east, ends up on hard times? he could be at the FEAST shelter occasionally for food and a place to crash!!! and since he's kinda young, maybe pete could take an interest? either way!!!! i think either of those works well.

I have three G.enshin I.mpact s/i's rn, an archon of love, and archon of time, and a circus performer from Fontaine. I was thinking about the circus girl and how batshit the game's entire lore is like it feels like you could toss in whatever and it wouldn't be breaking the canon, which means I was like "circus girl could literally be sentient stardust that became human and it'd be kinda neat" and I like it. Also thinking of creating a fourth because I was reading about the seelie and seems they used to have human forms but then became the wispy little versions, and there's some legends saying that they became that way because they would transform if they loved a human, and I was thinking it'd be interesting to have a gal who's a human seelie but if she loved a human would become like most of the others, and for archon romance it's like lmao loophole, but for humans she's like hmmm gotta try and fucking deny feelings to stay humanoid oops.
