Three Tips to Prevent Lock Tampering
To stop these burglary techniques and provide you some peace of mind, there are several ways to fortify the security of your locks and your house.
Put in smart locks.
Another excellent option for increasing lock security and thwarting burglary attempts is smart locks. On the residential property security sector, they are gradually gaining traction.
Boost the security system of your house.
Increasing the general security of your home is another approach to keep a thief from ever trying to enter it. If a burglar notices additional security features like an alarm system, cove security cameras, or outdoor illumination, they will probably pass past your house.
Install high security locks with anti-snap technology.
A simple and affordable method of enhancing your home's security is to replace your locks with ones that resist snapping. Give our locksmiths a call at 0808 164 2928 if you require anti-snap lock installation done by highly skilled and effective technicians.
Maintaining the safety and security of your house is essential to ensuring your personal safety and security.

How Secure Is Your Garage Door? Tips to Keep Intruders Out
When most homeowners think about home security, they focus on doors, windows, and alarm systemsābut often forget one of the most vulnerable entry points: the garage door. Whether attached or detached, your garage can be a target for thieves looking for easy access to your home or valuables.
If youāre wondering how secure your garage door really is, here are practical tips to tighten security and keep intruders out.
1. Keep Your Garage Door Opener Out of Sight
Never leave your remote clipped to your car visor. Itās like leaving a house key in plain sight. Instead, keep it on your keychain or use a smart garage door opener that connects to your smartphone.
2. Upgrade to a Smart Garage Door Opener
Smart garage door systems allow you to monitor, open, or close your garage from anywhere using an app. Many also send real-time alerts if your door is opened unexpectedly. If your opener is over 10 years old, upgrading may be a smart (and secure) move.
3. Reinforce the Emergency Release
Thieves know how to exploit the emergency release cord to manually open the door from the outsideāespecially on older models. A simple solution is to secure the release with a zip tie or install a shield to block access, without disabling the safety function.
4. Install Motion-Activated Lighting
A well-lit garage is a great deterrent. Install motion-sensor lights near your garage entrance or driveway. Intruders hate being seen and will likely move on if they feel exposed.
5. Always Lock the Interior Door
If your garage is attached to your home, donāt forget to lock the door that connects them. Use a deadbolt or smart lock, just like you would on your front door.
6. Schedule Regular Inspections
Even the strongest door wonāt keep intruders out if the parts are failing. Loose tracks, broken locks, or malfunctioning openers can all compromise your security. Thatās why homeowners should schedule regular maintenance with a trusted professional. If youāre local, a garage door repair West Palm Beach service can inspect and reinforce your system for peace of mind.
Final Thoughts
Your garage door is more than just a convenienceāitās a security barrier. Taking a few simple precautions can make a big difference in keeping your home and family safe. From tech upgrades to routine checks, every step helps.
If youāre unsure about the condition or safety of your garage door, contact a certified garage door repair West Palm Beach technician to assess your setup and recommend improvements. Donāt wait until something goes wrong to take action.

Fear focused feminist always get mad when I say,
āYou should be able to depend on the man youāre dating financially.ā
Depending on him doesnāt mean youāre broke. It means you depend on him to provide the basic necessities of life. Like the bills, groceries, transportation.
A womanās money is HER money. She can Save it, Invest it, Start a business. Or save his.
Even without working a woman should be able to depend on a man to fund her savings & investments for her. (Like after a woman has just given birth and stays home for awhile) A smart woman knows to build real wealth in this dynamic.
Depending on a man doesnāt mean to be uninvolved with the marital finances for 20 years and end up broke after a divorce. Be smart. Build wealth.
And income ā wealth. (Which is why so many high earning 'independent' women are still broke)

Hello~
Not much going on in the garden yet, but it has been rainy so thought I'd share a few pics of what I've cooked the last week :)
I made tomatilla salsa~

I had never made it before a month ago and now, my partner asks I make it weekly :). I'd like to get some tomatilla plants growing this upcoming spring/summer season.

Veggie stock (which I used in rice, cabbage dishes and soup) made from the bits.

Cabbage, sausage and peppers w/ some garlic + black pepper and steamed w/ veg stock.
Even the most die hard cabbage naysayers in the house enjoyed this meal :)

Homemade chicken nuggets. We've been on a quest to replace quick meals with homemade versions, this one is similar to one I posted awhile ago, only I left out the potato for a carb-less version.

Stir-fried veggie and chicken rice. We used leftover rice from a night out to try someplace new for this one :)
I know it looks like fried chicken, it's not lol. It's apple fritters without the powdered sugar. (We're cutting unnecessary sugars out)

The recipe from this one's an old one, but honestly it's really good and simple. I will be sharing this recipe at a later date :)
I'm feeling A bit hungry now looking at these food pics. so I think I'm off to make something to eat again~
