design notes and potential spoilers below

- damon’s cutie mark is a snake with a speech bubble. tried to incorporate apple imagery for thematic reasons

- he doesnt have any notable coat pattern but he’s shiny. kind of like an Akhal-Teke horse but he’s faking it with conditioner or something for a metaphor about fools gold. or smth i just wanted to make him shiny

- eva’s cutie mark (seen below) is based on riemann’s hypothesis but with the infinity to indicate she has more capabilities than youd think

- her coat pattern is based on dappled horses. both her and damon have some if the more “realistic’ patternings of the class, also for thematic reasons

- both are also earth ponies. damon probably isn’t normal about that

I really want to do something that symbolizes resilience but I like this idea a lot, now I'm thinking like a little bouquet with three flowers in it, one being a poppy another being some kind of resilience flower (idk anything about flower symbolism so I'll have to find one) and a secret third one that I'll have to think about

This doesn't have to be complicated but unfortunately it's me so it will be and I will like it

overheard these two guys talking and they're like. very obviously cowboys and one of them goes "man when I was young I used to think everyone had horses I didn't even know there were ppl w/o horses" and the other one goes "shows how horseified we are"

I think the guys as earth ponies would be kinda neat.

(Following my own lore conventions where earth ponies have paws! Unicorns have cloven feet like deer and pegasi have a mix of talons and hooves.)
