I saw a murderbot daemon au where ART built murderbot a drone to act as a daemon and implies constructs are severed and yall know im a sucker for daemon aus?? But also like. daemon au where every secunit automatically comes with a minimum of one (1) drone, and at least one drone is essential to functioning. why? folks don’t know, maybe it’s storage or something. If units have multiple it’s usually as decoys for the important one

anyway obviously this drone is a daemon by another name. they don’t change shape partially bc they don’t know they can, partially bc the gov module will zap em dead if they change

It is making me think that after murderbot goes on the run it discovers its beloved drone has like. Idk. Multiple settings? Little spider drone that can skitter. Little lizard drone that can stick to walls. It can even do things like, lil cat drone that can claw up someone’s face real good (:

sometimes i wonder how the roman camp takes in new campers, since Percy’s entrance seemed less-than-average, judging by reactions. And CJC doesn’t really answer it either cause we don’t see the in-between of Claudia training and joining the legion. We don’t see it with Mimi either, and with Mimi we can’t really confirm if the reason she was seemingly alone was because Lupa doesn’t usually bring them to the entrance of camp, if she had left already, or if Mimi’s stench powers made Lupa avoid her.

Like, does Lupa normally just walk in whatever group she just finished training (since we know the pack will come pick up new campers sometimes)? Do they have to awkwardly walk in on their own and explain they’re coming over from the Wolf House? Does CJ keep track of who is currently at the Wolf House so they know to let them in when they’re done training? Is there any kind of documentation about their training and how it went or is it just “source: dude trust me” (which is implied how Hazel’s went)? how does this work.

yes, they are a large PAC, and yes, they lean heavily (but not exclusively!) Conservative. However -- arguing they have some special, magical, insidious influence over the United States government is antisemitism. full stop.

AIPAC is too eager to sacrifice Jewish values in its pursuit of a narrow single issue. I never liked how they advocated for, in essence, United States hegemony in the Middle East. I'm saying this as someone who was raised Orthodox and was taken to lobby with AIPAC as a student. I think their approach is a poor representation of Zionism and that in the long run it does very little to protect Jews.

like, don't get me wrong, I'm happy that politicians like AOC have not received AIPAC funding. But why the fuck do you feel compelled to single out that one particular metric as a litmus test for who is "good" and who is "bad"? hmm?

Allowing car and pharma companies and individual billionaires to have massive lobbying campaigns is a problem. Ditto any religious organization, whether it be Catholic or Zionist or whatever. It should be ideas, and community-building, and science, which influence the vote. not vote suppression and dollars.

However! I went for a walk around the other day as Arkose! Who is my S9 oc with mild levin sickness (manifesting similar to peripheral neuropathy), and who often uses modified arm crutches for balance/stability.

And I suddenly noticed that this place is an ACCESSIBILITY NIGHTMARE. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY FUCKING STAIRS WITH NO RAMPS. WHY ARE THERE RANDOM BUMPS AND ELEVATION CHANGES IN THE ROAD.

i've encountered and interacted with so many people who're quite a bit older than me on this blog than i have throughout my time on tumblr (about a quarter of my lifetime) and it's kinda fascinating to see so many people who straight up made new main blogs to keep track of everything that's happening (not to forget the ones like me who're lazy and just made side blogs), with a large number of people being from everywhere other than USA, and so many people having the untitled in their blog titles in completely different languages, i see y'all and i appreciate y'all being here
