i appreciate how real these obslaine moments we're getting are, and how anchored in reality and real life nick and june feel at this point in their lives. so much of their love story, and their love really, has felt and feels like a fairytale, and now it's like they have to deal with the aftermath. their love never truly made sense to them because of how meant to be it felt and feels in spite of everything and you see it here. the hurt, the regret that maybe life could have been easier without them falling as hard as they did. it feels like the confused princess has woken up from her sleep, so all of it feels like a dream where she "loved' him, and the prince feels bone-tired and haggard because this love has exhausted him, and was a "hellish" experience. yet somehow, the love remains, and it's not some fantasy, it is deeply rooted, felt, and real.
