idk if my design counts because I just make him a little more eldritch and took the ‘copying’ of a Sans too literally but I am taking this chance to infodump about my nightmare design. bear with me. this is the current design I have, which will probably change a bit:

if it looks a little odd I don’t blame you, but it shall make sense (these are all headcanons)

- when nightmare left dreamtale, he was like 6. it was also late summer/autumn there. this is important because nightmare assumed that because dreamtale would have colder weather, so would the rest of the multiverse. this is why he has the clothing of a Sans-he used the sweater because he didn’t want to freeze and the shorts because they were easier to walk in, and this habit stuck.

- this comes with downsides, though. nightmare tore the sleeves off because he couldn’t handle how the wool scratched his bones (sensory issues), and because they always got too heavy due to the tarlike stuff soaking into them and blood/dust got stuck in them too easily. He also wears fingerless gloves (kind of like bike gloves) to help with keeping whatever he’s holding tar-free. he finds it super annoying to constantly sticky-ify things when he touches them.

- nightmare uses a shawl because he can move easily with it, it’s stylish, and it actually makes it harder for monsters, humans, and animals alike to pick out his form in darkness because from the front and sides, it blends his silhouette so he looks less recognizable as a humanoid shape when still. of course, it doesn’t work perfectly, so nightmare has to use his tentacles as well. that’s a whole other story and I’ll put that on a later post with an in-depth look at how his body works because I am not typing that out.

- for the ‘why does he look like sans’ thing, I had the terrible idea to make it so he would stalk and then mimic a sans by killing them and wearing their clothes (and using the tarlike stuff and his tentacles to create extra features/limbs), then luring as many unsuspecting monsters and humans as he could to their deaths by copying their movements and getting the victim to stray too far away from safety

now, for my favorites:

- while wearing shorts and ripping the sleeves off sweaters is nice for mobility, it also leaves nightmare’s arms and legs open. this results in scratches and bruises, and nightmare solves this by wrapping random fabrics he finds while traveling the multiverse around his shins and lower arms, each a little subconscious souvenir.

- once, centuries ago, nightmare was doing particularly poorly. this was only years after the dreamtale incident, so he was still learning how to properly survive (something I highly doubt the villagers would have even thought to teach him). Someone in the AU he was hiding in had seen him fleetingly a few times around their home, and left out food and fabric for the kid to use. that’s where the fabric in his arm comes from-one of the only tokens of kindness ever given to nightmare. that Someone might have tried to take him in and raise him, but knew that whatever nightmare was, he would never feel at home in a house. he is and will always be a nature spirit. (his mother is a tree for god’s sake)

- this mf despises shoes and socks. he only wears boots when he absolutely has to (for example, if he for some reason needed to meet with someone of high status)

oh and this one

- nightmare keeps things on him at all times. Literally. when he was passive, villager kids would take his things when he wasn’t looking (or sometimes when he was) and so anything he really needed or wanted to keep had to be on him at all times. he also needed to do this when he was constantly traveling after he corrupted. due to this, nightmare has a habit of keeping things like bags, string, assorted jewlery and other things literally tied to him. he’ll even put rings of keys around his ribs, and since I also headcanon that skeletons can rattle their bones both subconsciously and on command, he can make a very eerie noise when he’s moving quickly just to scare people. Dream recognizes the sound, though, so he has to be careful.

- and if you ask ‘well how does nightmare even get them off his ribs’ then I shall respond with ‘it’s a long story, but essentially because of the corruption he can open his ribcage kind of like one of those giant hair clips that kind of look like crabs (but only for a few seconds without hurting himself)’

“You didn’t hear what you think you did….” You try and cover up but Koganegawa only repeats the word,,,,,, Futakuchi simply shrugs innocently

“I’ll give you your time alone,” He quietly closes the closet door and you sigh at the darkness

“Let me turn on a light-“ You start but Aone pins you to the nearest wall, his hands are gentle on your hips and you gasp at the suddenness of it all

The sun shined through my blinds, indicating that morning finally came around after the long night of training I had with Stiles. Stiles Stilinski. He’s the guy my boss had paired me with for the FBI training and it’s gets kind of awkward, since he’s a really attractive guy and most nights, he sees me in just a sports bra and spandex. The director had set up apartments for each of the trainees and their partners, resulting in Stiles being my roommate. Luckily, it was a two bedroom apartment. I squinted my eyes, groaning as I pull the duvet over my head, not wanting to be awake at the moment. As I try to get back to sleep, a knock on my door echoes off the walls.

 “GO AWAY,” I mumbled tiredly, feeling all the bruises on my arms and stomach, wincing a little when I turn around, facing away from the window.

 “C’mon, Y/N. Get up.” Stiles deep voice flowed through the wood. I bite my lip, always liking how he sounds when he first wakes up in the morning, or even in general. He’s got such a great voice. The door opened, Stiles walking in, hearing his footsteps coming closer to the bed. He pulls my blanket away from me, his eyes widening as he noticed that I’m not wearing any pants, turning around, facing the window.

 “Stiles, you act like you’ve never seen a girl in just a shirt and panties. You don’t have to look away. You knew that I don’t wear pants to bed, so you walked into this knowing what was gonna happen.” I smirked, getting out of my bed, walking towards my dresser as I can feel eyes on my back. I pulled my shirt up, looking at the bruise that was embedded on my ribs, running my fingers over it, hissing.

 “Are you okay?” Stiles asked, looking at the bruise on my ribs, walking over to me, placing his slender fingers against the black and blue skin. I grabbed his hand, flinching away from him and he looked at me, a sad expression on his face. “I’m so sorry, Y/N. I didn’t want to be that rough on you, but you just weren’t getting it right.” He sighed, sitting on the bed as a frown was present on his beautiful pink lips.

 “It’s alright. That’s our job, Stiles. I’m going to end up getting hurt one way or another. I’m a little glad that you were rough on me, because other people won’t be. So, thank you.” I muttered, placing a kiss to his cheek before I walk into the bathroom with some clothes, closing the door behind me.

 Oh god. Why did I just do that? Now he’s gonna think I’m weird, damn it. I rested my head against the door, my eyes shut as I think about the feeling of his skin against my lips. Stiles always held a soft spot in my heart when we’d stay up late after a training session, Star Wars playing softly in the background as he told me about his life in Beacon Hills. He even told me about the supernatural, which I refused to believe at first until he had video chatted Scott, proving to me that he’s a werewolf.

 I walked back into the bedroom, finding Stiles with a grin on his lips, playing with his fingers as he seemed lost in his thoughts. “Stiles?” I asked, smiling as he jumped a bit, looking over to me, noticing I had gotten dressed. I look down at my outfit: my tie-dyed spandex shorts paired with a grey tank top and sports bra. “Whatcha thinkin about?”

 He shrugged, shaking his head as he stood up, wiping his hands on his basketball shorts, swallowing visibly. “N-Nothing. Just thinking about home again,” He lied, not looking into my eyes as he looked around the room. I let out an mhm, walking out of my bedroom, into the living room, grabbing my sneakers along the way. Stiles waited by the front door, leaning against the doorframe as I tied my shoes, running over to join him. “Ready?” He asked and I nodded my head, both of us heading out the door, driving towards the FBI training center that was located in California. We walked inside, our gym bags strapped on our shoulder as I laughed at a joke he told me in the car, feeling people’s stares on us as we make our way to the ring.

 People always assumed that Stiles and I were together because of how much time out of work we’ll spend with each other, but we live in the same space. How could you not spend time with your partner when you live together? Would you just sit in silence? Hell no. We’ll make the most of our time either watching netflix, eating, playing video games, or even talking to one another.

 We climbed into the ring, slipping my sneakers off. I like fight without shoes on. It’s weird, I know. Stiles chuckled at my non-matching socks as I bounced on my feet, holding my covered fists in front of my face, the smirk prominent on my lips. “C’mon, Stilinski. Show me what you got.” He slipped his gloves on, licking his lips as we danced around the ring, no one taking the first move yet.

 “Whatcha waitin for, L/N?” Stiles smirked and I rolled my eyes, going around the ring once more before making my move. I tried to punch him in the face, but he dodged it, swiping his leg underneath my feet, knocking me to the mat. I let out a huff, getting back onto my feet, getting into position again.

 “Good one, Stiles,” I muttered, aiming for his stomach, but once again, he dodges my strike, grabbing both of my arms, pinning them behind my back, pressing his chest against my back. I could feel his breath hitting my neck, swallowing hard as my heart pounds against my ribcage.

 “C’mon, Y/N. You can do better than this, I know you can,” Stiles whispered into my ear, letting me go. I quickly swept my foot under his, knocking him over and he looks up at me in astonishment. I gave him a small smirk before he hits the back of my knees, my legs giving out as he crawled on top of me, pinning my arms to the mat. “You are so off your game.” I rolled my eyes, his face inches from mine as he looks over my face. I look into those beautiful honey eyes of his as my breath hitches in my throat.

 His nose brushed against mine, my eyes fluttering shut as I come up with a plan. He moved his hands from my arms, resting them on each side of my head, his head inching closer to mine. I wrapped my legs around his waist, flipping us over, pinning his arms to the mat. “You shouldn’t get distracted, Stilinski.” I chuckled, biting my lip. He let out a huff, looking defeated as I got off of his lap, sticking my arm out to help him up. He stood up, giving me a smile when someone had cleared their throat. We both looked over, seeing the director standing outside of the ring, a stern look on his face.

 “Stilinski, L/N. I see you’re training again,” He mentioned and both of us nodded our heads. “Stilinski, I have a mission for you that hits close to home.” He told Stiles and he tensed up, leaning against the ropes.

 “What? What is it?” Stiles asked, eventually getting out of the ring, leaving me in it, watching the situation in front of me.

 “I need you and a team to go to Beacon Hills. There’s something that’s happening there and we need to send guys out. I want you to go with them, since it’s your hometown.” Stiles nodded his head in agreeance. I bit my lip as the director patted his back before leaving, Stiles rushing out of the building.

 “STILES! WAIT!” I rushed after him, grabbing my shoes, running towards his jeep. “Stiles, you’re not actually going, right?” I asked, standing in front of his door, my hands against the window. He rolled it down, nodding his head and my face paled. “W-What if you get hurt?”

 “Y/N, that’s what training is for. I’m gonna be fine. I know Beacon Hills like the back of my hand, plus these guys don’t know what they would be dealing with. Nothing in Beacon is natural, there’s always a twist. I have to go.” He leaned out of his window, pressing his lips to my forehead as he pulls out of the parking space, following the other cars, heading towards Beacon immediately.

 “God, please be careful.” I muttered to myself, running my hands through my hair. I need to do something, I can’t just sit here and wait. I ran back into the building, looking for the keys to the cars that the FBI owns, searching through the whole building. After about an hour of looking, I finally found one in someone’s locker, shrugging my shoulders as I take it, getting into the car, driving up north.

 After getting lost, and the car breaking down, I walked towards the sign that said Beacon Hills, gulping as it looks dark and grey, raining a little bit. I place the FBI vest on, heading towards the shooting. I pulled my gun out, sneaking around the buildings as I try to find Stiles. Someone comes up behind me, kicking me in the back as I fall to the ground, groaning in pain. I turned onto my back just as the guy got on top of me, one of his hands wrapped around my throat, his eyes glowing. Holy shit. I punched him in the face, trying to gasp for air as his grip tightens, my other hand reaching for my gun. Someone else tackled him off of me, knocking him out and I got up, pointing my gun at him, my hands shaking with nervousness.

 “Don’t shoot. I’m on the good side,” He mentioned and I kept my eyes on him, his eyes glowing red. He stepped into the light, immediately recognizing him.

 “Scott?” I asked, putting my gun away. His eyes turned back to their normal color, stepping forward, squinting his eyes, trying to see my features.

 “Y/N? Oh my god, what are you doing here? Does Stiles know you’re here?” He asked many questions and I shook my head, pulling my hair up into a ponytail.

 “No, he doesn’t. I couldn’t just sit around and wait. I had to do something.” I confessed as we walk back towards the main fight. Scott led me towards an alleyway, seeing a bunch of our guys running down it, two figures walking our way. Their features became clearer and one of them was Stiles, who was currently holding up another guy. “Stiles!” I yelled and he looked over at me, his lips parting as he hands the guy to a Scott, trailing towards me.

 “Y/N, what are you doing here?!” He grabbed my arm, pulling me to the side of the building. He noticed the bruising on my neck, pushing my head up, analyzing the wound. “What happened?” He questioned sternly, looking at me worried.

 “Some guy tried to choke me to death. Scott was the one that saved me,” I mentioned and his features softened, pulling me into a tight hug. I nuzzle my face into his chest, feeling his hands rub my back.

 “Please, never do anything like that again. I don’t know what would happen if I lost you, Y/N. You mean so fucking much to me,” He whispered, resting his forehead against mine, his hands rubbing my cheekbones.

 “I-I won’t. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I couldn’t sit around and wait for you to come back or not. Take me with you next time,” I muttered, our noses brushing as he nodded his head. I looked down at his FBI vest, biting my lip softly. “By the way, you look so good in that.” I pointed to his jacket, his chest puffing out a little and I giggled, running my hands up his chest. I glance up at him, his eyes connecting to mine, one of his hands still resting on my cheek.

 “Well, you look pretty damn good yourself. Maybe someday I can just see you wearing that and nothing else.” He growled, his lips grazing my cheek as they heated up, my heart beating faster. “I’ve wanted to kiss you for so long.” Stiles whispered, his lips now brushing against mine, my breath hitching in my throat again.

 “Then kiss me, Stiles. Kiss me,” I muttered, my eyes fluttering shut as he planted his lips on mine. My hands grip his vest, pulling him closer to me as I move my lips against his, letting out little moans. Oh my god. This is better than I imagined. After a few minutes we pulled away to catch our breaths, a loud bang ringing from closeby and Stiles wraps me in his arms, turning us away from the blast. He pushed a few baby hairs out of my face, breathing heavily as both of our hearts are pounding against our chests.

 “You okay?” He asked and I nodded my head, loading my gun.

 “Yeah, now c’mon. Let’s save your hometown.” I smirked, both of us holding guns in our hands as we head into battle together.

 After we had won the fight, both Stiles and I were dirty and a little bloody. I had injured my wrist when one of the guys had attacked us from behind, but it’s only sprained. I was sitting on the ledge of the ambulance, rotating my wrist, wincing every once in awhile as Stiles walked up to me, his hands buried in his pockets, a smile on his lips. “Ready to go home?” He asked and I nodded my head, taking his hand in mine, intertwining our fingers as I got into his jeep.

 Once inside out building, I flop down on the couch, pulling the vest off, throwing it to the floor, Stiles’ landing there as well. “God, it’s been a long night.” I muttered standing up from the couch, both of us walking down the halls towards our rooms. I was about to go into mine when I turned around, facing Stiles as he was staring at his door. “Hey, Stiles?” I asked and he hummed in response, facing me. “Would you want to sleep in my room, with me?” I bit my lip as he nodded his head repeatedly, his hands landing on my waist as he pushed me inside, closing the door behind him with his foot.

 “I thought you’d never ask.” He smiled, leaning down, connecting our lips in a loving kiss that quickly got heated. Stiles pushed me down onto the bed, meshing our lips together roughly as I run a hand through his beautiful chestnut locks. I pull away from him, my eyes drooping shut as he placed a kiss to my forehead, falling asleep with him hovering over me.

 Stiles chuckled, moving some hair out of my face as I began breathing heavily, falling into a deep sleep. He picked me up, moving the covers out of the way before laying me on the mattress, covering me with the duvet. Stiles slipped off his jeans and flannel, getting into your bed next to you, pulling me into his chest as he falls asleep next to me, a smile on his lips.

TVD 1x10 Review

Hi all! Welcome to the tenth review of TVD season 1. Considering that I haven’t like sat down to watch a full episode of the past seasons of TVD in a few years and my memory might not be the greatest I think I will start with my usual disclaimer: I will write my thoughts in real time so if I make a mistake at the beginning of this post, it will be corrected by the end. There will be anti-Damon and anti-Delena sentiments (I’m only mentioning these two because it’s the beginning of the series), and I feel the need to say that there may be some anti-Jenna sentiments too. I will probably bring up other shows and call attention to misogynoir, racism, anti-blackness etc. Ready? Let’s go.  You know, I never get the sense that MF is affected by the vampirism, like we see that Damon has killed Tanner and Vicki’s friends and, well, everyone and while there are reports of animal attacks, it doesn’t feel like the residents care or even know. With True Blood, everyone was on fucking edge because people kept dying, with Sunnydale people aren’t exactly on edge but they know their town is weird with the constant mysterious deaths and because the stakes themselves are actually like End of the World big, we already get the hysteria of something terrible is about to happen so we need to stop it. Even in Teen Wolf, Beacon Hills is under curfew. Everyone is chillin’ in MF. Oh I bring this up because Logan Fell killed that random jogger because he’s a newbie vampire. “But we’re a team, we can travel the world together!” When have you two ever actually been a team, though? Like in the past. Even when they liked each other as humans, Damon was never on Stefan’s team. He was Team Katherine. “Kids are too young to be brought into this.” This is what Liz says about Stefan to Damon regarding the Council. “Kids are too young to be brought into this”. This is what Liz says about the boy who is going to school with her daughter to the man she saw her daughter dating. Like SERIOUSLY TVD. Matt and Caroline legit look cute and them talking about TV is adorbz. Yes, Zal ships this POS with Queen Caroline, anons. I like how moody Elena gets when Bonnie is like, what kind of future could you have with Stefan even if he stayed? She just gets grouchy, lmao. I like how Damon says that he wouldn’t have been so obvious about how he killed people if he’d been the one who killed the jogger as if his messy ass killing people isn’t what alerted the Council about vampires coming back to MF in the first place. “Until you become ‘we’ people … we can’t make it to the party, we can’t make it to the game, we don’t like the colour red” lol. Logan’s transition still doesn’t make sense to me. Damon said that he killed him but didn’t turn him, another vampire found him and give him their blood --- Anna, but like, Logan was DEAD when Damon attacked him so like when the hell did Anna give him her blood? “For once, Mayor, we actually know where our kids are.” WHERE COULD THEY BE IN A SMALL TOWN LIKE MF? Poor Matt. “It’s not a big deal…” looking at Elena with those hopeful eyes and she’s legit just ribbing on him like a friend. “Well you probably love her” there’s absolutely nothing to suggest that Logan loved Jenna. I love Dobsley standing next to each other, they’re such an attractive pairing. I really like when Elena says “I appreciate you looking out for me but please if you’re going t leave then just go” and her voice quavers as she says it because him being around but not being with her is painful. And their intense stare before Jenna comes and asks Elena to hide her from her ex-boyfriend. OMG I JUST BOOKED THAT WHEN LOGAN COMES UP TO ELENA AND STEFAN, STEFAN TAKES HER BY THE HAND. SO CUTE. LOL Stefan staring Logan down being like “Don’t ever. Threaten me. Again.” And then walking away, Logan has no idea what to do with himself. With Damon he was snarky and actually pretty confident, with Stefan he’s like … … … “Bonnie, where are you I’m ready to go” OK Caroline but maybe Bonnie isn’t? LIKE? And even HERE, we don’t see what Bonnie wants to be when she grows up. Tyler draws, Caroline wants to be a broadcast journalist, Matt used to want to be an astronaut, Stefan wanted to be a doctor, we find out later Elena wanted to be a writer and Bonnie what, doesn’t need to have any background because she’s a witch? “Alpha male douchebag” oooooooooooh werewolf reference. “Yeah I’m starting to see a lot of things, Stefan” like the fact that he is a good man who will protect her and her friends and therefore a person she’s in love with. Moon over Tyler, lmao, I booked that in season 1 too. Awww, the teary gazes between Stefan and Elena. And the SE love scene! And I love that Elena gasps right before Stefan kisses her. Also, I like that “Cut” is an accompaniment to the scene, it doesn’t overpower it. With DE scenes, what you remember is the song, you remember Never Let Me Go and I Was Wrong because it’s blaring and overpowers what’s actually happening. With the SE scene, they are the main event and the song doesn’t blare until after they’ve given themselves over to each other in the living room. I have it paused because my mother won’t leave me alone but it’s paused at when Stefan turns away from Elena and the expression on Paul’s face is full of such vulnerability and fear at Elena discovering the part of himself he hates the most. And when he says “Elena I can’t” it legit looks like it tears him up inside. I’m just realizing I usually focus on Elena when I watch the “don’t hide from me” scene but I’m looking at Stefan and when she puts her hand on his face, the way his mouth parts, like being touched on his face affects him so deeply and thoroughly. Nina’s shining fucking eyes man. Still love that she takes him by the hand and guides him to his own room in his own his house They want to talk about how the necklace is a DE symbol even though they focus on it during the SE love scene. Seriously, Elena’s face when Stefan’s kissing her neck. OK so it turns out I did have a few things to say about the love scene. “LOOK, I like Caroline, she has this thing, this way about her and I like her!” SO high school. Yeah Matt, stand up to Tyler! I also like that Matt looks at Tyler like wtf is up with you when he just accepts that he likes Caroline and isn’t being a raging douche bag. Also it still bothers me that they’re friends considering how FOUL Tyler treated Vicki. Still totally love that Elena is in Stefan’s shirt, cuddling with Stefan after sleeping with Stefan, like you just want to be wrapped up in him, girl. Stefan being all considerate and asking if she needs a drink of water. And the way Elena is so giddy and cuddles his pillow. TOPLESS STEFAN. Here is the thing that bothers me. OK Elena is upset that Stefan didn’t tell her she resembled Katherine, like fine, I get that, but why the fuck would she leave the vervain necklace, like that DOESN’T make sense. “But maybe it’s a token of their relationship” yeah it’s also what keeps her from being compelled. LIKE. IT IS AN ILLOGICAL AND STUPID MOVE. I also want to know how the car works. Like, Bonnie consistently drives Elena to school but Elena’s driving the jeep or SUV or whatever from Stefan’s place and it’s not the weekend so like, why does she get it tonight?
