Thanks a lot for the tag!!!
(Julia is so cool and great by the way!)
Here's my girl Hera Hwang (Korean name -> Hwang Ji-yong) :
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can find her intro post here, some facts about her here and read an OS about a part of her backstory here ! More posts and fanfictions about her backround and adventures will come !
Basic informations :
She was born on January 28, 1875
She's half french, half korean, and speaks both languages
She's a Gryffindor
She's a lesbian
She's 190cm tall
She's a half-blood
She's also very masculine
Her scar is a burn scar, I'll reveal soon what caused this ! Warning : angst.
She has amnesia and doesn't remember anything from before she was 10. I will of course reveal what happened to her too ! Warning : her parents are assholes.
Her accent is a mix of the french accent and the west country accent
As my next fic Sans famille (Nobody's girl Hera) will tell, Hera doesn't know who her parents are. At 10, she woke up on a beach with no memory at all. She spent some time in an orphanage, before being adopted by the Pryors, a very religious family who, among others, forced her to wear feminine clothes. I won't go through the details because I don't want to spoil my fanfiction, but she ended up running away. Some months after, Professor Fig found her, told her she was a witch and took her home, teaching her the basis of magic she needed to know before starting Hogwarts as a fifth year. More details about her backround will be found in my fics !
At Hogwarts, she will fall in love with Poppy Sweeting and they will end up together ! You can find two OS about their relationship here and here, as well as facts about them here - and of course there will be more to come.
Hera loves Quidditch, music, duelling, beasts, books... She has a very strong personality, she's confident, assertive, stubborn. She's awkward and doesn't know how to make friends, but she's very funny when you get to know her. She isn’t the anxious kind, because she doesn't care about anything ; she's very loyal to her friends, and is also very, very honest and frank - which can be a good thing and also an awful one. She gets pissed off quite easily and can be very mean and brutal when she wants too. Some may describe her as very aggressive and even violent but she deep down has a very good heart. She doesn't talk much most of the time, and loves to sing when she's alone.
Her given korean was Hwang Mi-yeon, but she changed it to Hwang Ji-yong because the first one was too "cute" and "pretty" and she didn't feel like it fit her. Hwang Ji-yong is a male name.
I don't really know what else to say without spoiling all my fanfictions right now!
You know what 😊
I want to hear about your Hogwarts Legacy MCs. Please feel free to reblog this and post about your original characters here with whatever you'd like: art, screenies, lore, writing snippets, thoughts, plans...whatever!

i have an idea and need your thoughts on it ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)✨ on my way home i was listening to big time rush, and i was like woah... a boyband AU with squid game guys. i mean the cast already has idols/rappers, so why not? daeho, subong a.k.a. thanos, myunggi, and fuck it i'm including youngsik too just so there are enough people here. BUT THEN I WAS THINKING HEY THAT'S NOT FAIR, THE GIRLS SHOULD BE IN A GIRLGROUP. hyunju, junhee, semi, and jiyeong :3 both groups are very popular, very cool concepts, and their fanbases are mostly chill with each other (there are always weirdos around but hey what can you do). minsu is the stressed out manager for the guys, saebyeok is the trusted bodyguard for the girls.
then they have this youtube video of these two groups interviewing each other going super viral. lots of views, fans are loving it, and one of the questions asked was about who their influences are. what inspired them to do music?
many of them answer their own personal favorites, but two names keep popping up - gihun and inho (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧ two icons back in the day. they're legends in the music industry, highly respected solo artists active in the 90's & 2000's but after then have settled down together. occassionally making apperances (both individually and together) in morning shows, series, commercials, etc.
i will expand more about inhun in this AU another time (。•ㅅ•。)~✧ need some time to cook, and it's gonna be delicious i hope
KPOP IDOL AU YYYYYYYEEEEESSSSS
Tumblr media
i love everything about this!!!!! 🙏🙏🥰🥰😫😫😫😫
the two groups have collabs and features in each other's music and they get along rlly rlly well, to the point where there were dating rumors!! (which were true bc junhee and myunggi dated for 5 secs until he pissed her off and she broke up with him 😌)
the fans are say saebyeok should have been an idol too with her looks but she cannot be bothered and prefers scaring people
maybe, gihun and inho retiring together and appearing separately bc no one knows of their decades long relationship, until they all appear in a survival show type stuff where the groups have to spend a week with a mentor or whatever and that's how they meet inhun? 🥹 maybe idk i dont wanna intrude on ur anon 🥰
or or gihun is the girls' manager?
not only are u gonna cook anon u are going to devour!!! this au seems amazing 🫶💖

Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938
Tumblr media
I loved Tale of the Nine Tailed so when I learned that there was a second season, I didn't hesitate to watch it. This time Yeon goes back to 1938 in search of the masked person who took a magical stone. And here we get to see Rang once more. And we are introduced to Hong Joo, Moo Young and another set of characters that are memorable and fun to watch. There is a balance of action, humor, suspense and horror in this series that kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved watching these friends reconcile and work together, just like I loved seeing Yeon and Rang again.
the CGI in the train fight was cringy but everything else was really good. I totally loved this sequel. If you saw the first one, you gotta se this one.

TALE OF THE NINE TAILED 1938 // KDRAMA DİZİ YORUMU
UYARI : Yazılar genel olarak spoiler içerebilir. İçermeyedebilir.
İmdb puanı: 7,9 Benim puanım: 8
Drama: Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938
Hangul: 구미호뎐1938
Director: Kang Shin-Hyo
Writer: Han Woo-Ri
Date: 2023
Language: Korean
Country: South Korea
Cast: Lee Dong-Wook, Kim So-Yeon, Kim Beom, Ryoo Kyung-Soo, Hwang Hee, Kim Yong-Ji, Kim Soo-Jin
Bence dizinin ana kadrodaki 4 isimde başrol gibiydi.
YORUM:
Dizilerde ikinci sezonun, ilk sezonu aşması, üstelik bunu ilk sezonun kurduğu hikaye kurgusundan ödün vermeden yapması nadir görülen bir durumdur. "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" bunu son derece iyi yapıyor.
OST:
Kihyun - Full Moon
Thama - Kiss The Rain
Relying on the authority granted to me by the first season, I thought the second season would be just as bad. I say this with all due respect, but Jo Bo-Ah’s absence from the second season truly elevated the show. She apparently wanted to make a small guest appearance without taking any payment. I genuinely want to emphasize again how much this raised the show's quality. Although the absurd scenes were still present, they didn’t feel nearly as disturbing. Since my opinion on the first season is very clear, my husband wanted to write the critique for the second season. I’ll briefly state my own thoughts and leave his writing below.
First and foremost, our beloved grim reaper fox Lee Yeon, played by Lee Dong-Wook… From his hair style and color to his wardrobe and acting, everything was excellent. His scenes with long hair were especially beautiful. I don't know if I should say “the apprentice surpassed the master,” but our little fox Kim Beom, playing Lee Rang, definitely stole the show from his “older brother.” The handsome actor, who proved his talent in Law School and Ghost Doctor, was essentially a lead actor here. It would actually be disrespectful to call him a "second male lead" in this series.
I think all four of the main cast were practically lead roles. One of the new additions this season was Ryoo Kyung-Soo, playing the character Cheon Mu-Young. An actor who left an impression in Itaewon Class, he was also quite successful here. The acting overall was at a professional level. The other major new addition was Kim So-Yeon, playing Ryu Hong-Joo, representing the main female lead this season. In a word — I loved her. I adored both her acting and the character she portrayed. We had briefly seen her for about three minutes at the end of Taxi Driver Season 2, but it hadn't left much of an impression on me then. Now, I can better understand why viewers were so excited even for that tiny appearance.
Aside from that, the lovely couple from the first season, Goo Shin-Joo (Hwang Hee) and Sunwoo Eun-Ho (Kim Yong-Ji), also appeared in Season 2. It was great to see them again. At the end of the day, that's all I have to say. My overall thought is that the second season could easily be watched without even seeing the first season — it feels like a completely different show.
REVIEW:
It’s rare for a second season to surpass the first while maintaining the story structure established by the original. Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 does this extremely well.
This new season manages to retain everything that made the first season great: the complex yet unbreakable bond between the Lee brothers and the fantastical world built upon rich South Korean folklore. However, it also improves upon the original with better pacing, a tighter plot, and stronger villains and backstories. Watching it, you occasionally feel nostalgic, as most of the scenes are filmed on the Mr. Sunshine set. The series even openly acknowledges this, making multiple references and parallel scenes to Mr. Sunshine that bring tears to your eyes.
The biggest flaw of the original was the female lead. The lack of chemistry between her and Lee Yeon, along with her dull acting, was the only thing I disliked about the first season. The mere fact that she is absent this season is a good enough reason to give this one a chance.
A big part of the show's enjoyment comes from the outstanding chemistry between the characters. Beyond the exceptional bond between the Lee brothers, the camaraderie among the trio of Mountain Gods is just as engaging. The humor, comedic situations, and witty dialogue are all spot-on. The tense atmosphere of the era in which the story is set, combined with humor and intrigue, keeps the episodes flowing without boredom.
The writer's minor flaws still persist. Although plot holes are less prominent this season, they are still noticeable.
Since the second season picks up right where the first one left off, we see a better, happier, and more life-loving nine-tailed fox. As a result, the chemistry with the new female lead Ryu Hong-Joo is playful, fun, and emotionally uncomplicated, making the series even more enjoyable.
Seeing little brother Lee Rang’s surprise powers, even briefly, and witnessing his love story were also delightful.
With the announcement of the third season already made, the anticipation has begun.
My Score: 13 out of 10

Never Twice. 8.5
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, (kdrama) ;Homemade Love Story (kdrama)
It’s a family story drama with 72 episodes (32min long). Is it worthwhile watching. Absolutely. It’s hella melodramatic though, so keep that in mind going in. You have a corrupt family, a somewhat vengeful widow, a suicidal couple, a golfer, two adults nearing their 50s who act like they’re in their 20s and a cute older couple. It can get a bit bonkers at times especially towards the later half, the ending had me rolling my eyes on how everyone ended up in one big happy family. And I mean EVERYONE. It’s still a really nice drama even with its ups and downs especially with the main leads who had a beautiful storyline that was written brilliantly for them. I mean the chemistry between the two. *chefs kiss*

SQUID GAME RESTAURANT HCS
heyy this is literally a ripoff of @yurozo’s resident evil restaurant au but with squid game instead, hope you enjoy! go check hers out too it’s gold :)
this has got like…..every character i had even a semblance of a headcanon for LMAO (i’m sorry young mi and ji yeong fans 💔)
i am also sorry if this is inaccurate to actual restaurant roles and stuff, this is all for shits and gigs 🫶
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ali abdul (player 199)
ali is a cook. he’s genuinely happy to be there all the time and never messes up a dish. everyone feels good about their days at work when ali is there because he sort of acts as everyone’s rock. he also has a stash of snacks for employees on their breaks, and remembers everyone’s birthday and gives them gifts.
cho hyun-ju (player 120)
hyun-ju is a hostess. a bit quiet but very sweet and people often leave great reviews because of her. she tends to be a little blunt when telling people about their wait times but no one’s ever complained about it.
cho sang-woo (player 218)
sang-woo is a manager. he mostly takes care of budgeting and handling vendors. rarely is seen anywhere but his office and by the back wall of the building when he’s taking his smoke breaks. he once caught su-bong with his vape back there but didn’t say anything to anyone because he was too damn tired.
choi su-bong (thanos, player 230)
su-bong is a cook. he tried to bring his vape in once and nearly got beat up by jung-bae. also tried to seize control of the speaker to play his own music and nearly got beat up by woo-seok. su-bong is surprisingly a decent cook. gi-hun definitely had his doubts about hiring him due to past…incidents, but his cooking makes up for it. he’s the best at dessert!
choi woo-seok (found the salesman in s2)
woo-seok has control of the speaker in the kitchen. he insists he can’t cook without a good track. at first he was very intense about his music, but eventually relented and let everyone but su-bong add a few songs to his playlist.
han se-mi (player 380)
se-mi is a waitress. she doesn’t make very much small talk and rarely if ever looks happy to be there but for some reason old people love her, so whoever happens to be the host on her shifts puts old people in her section. she pretends to be exasperated with this when talking to fellow employees but secretly doesn’t mind it.
hwang in-ho (frontman, player 001 s2)
in-ho owns the restaurant. he rarely comes in but when he does it's all hands on deck and everyone better be in line. even su-bong tends to shape up when in-ho's around. he's just got that kind of vibe.
hwang jun-ho (policeman)
jun-ho is the head waiter. people tend to think in-ho gave him the job just because he’s his little brother but jun-ho is genuinely good at this thing. takes no shit and will pull aside waiters who make mistakes to help/lecture them.
jang geum-ja (player 149)
geum-ja comes in every week when yong-sik is working so he can cook for her, since it’s almost always been the other way around. everyone looks forward to when she comes by because she’s basically everyone’s mom. brings everyone gifts around holidays and birthdays!
kang dae-ho (player 388)
dae-ho is the bartender. he is friendly and sweet and makes seriously good drinks. he frequently gets peoples’ numbers slipped to him on cocktail napkins because LOOK AT THE GUY. he also will make sure his marine tattoo is showing if creeps are bothering folks and will intervene if situations escalate. sometimes su-bong gets up to the bar and tries to sneak a few shots but dae-ho always turns him away. he’s serious about his job like that.
kang no-eul (guard 011)
no-eul mainly does scheduling and handles bigger parties/events at the restaurant. learned her lesson real fast after accidentally putting su-bong and nam-gyu on a shift together. almost never takes requests from employees to be scheduled with another employee because she knows that work will pile up if that happens. she hangs out with hyun-ju and gyeong-seok after work and will look after nayeon if gyeong-seok is working when she isn’t.
kang sae-byeok (player 067)
sae-byeok is a delivery driver. since she doesn’t really play well with customer service, gi-hun decides to start delivering. sae-byeok is real good at her job. she’s never been late to a drop off location; will stare at cooks who move too slow (su-bong.) until they start hauling ass and making an effort to finish cooking. often has her little brother in the backseat of the car. he’s on youtube shorts a lot.
kim jun-hee (player 222)
jun-hee is a hostess. she's one of the more quiet ones but is very particular about her job. takes into consideration every waiter's strengths + weaknesses and seats people accordingly. (except for myung-gi; i like to think she’d enjoy fucking with him). a bit more apologetic than other hosts, will seem genuinely upset if someone's got a long time to kill before they get a table.
lee myung-gi (player 333)
myung-gi is a waiter. jun-hee seats all the teenagers having nights out in his section because she thinks it’s funny. myung-gi does not think it’s funny. he thinks they’re too loud and too much and does his job as fast as he can while remaining polite to get away from them. has been reprimanded by jun-ho for checking crypto on his phone while on the job. he tries to take his breaks with jun-hee but she prefers taking them alone, much to his dismay.
nam-gyu (player 124)
nam-gyu is a dishwasher. once he and su-bong were scheduled to work the same shift and the ensuing chaos was so bad that they were never allowed to work on the same shifts ever again. since then nam-gyu is pretty quiet while working and usually has his headphones in.
park gyeong-seok (player 246)
gyeong-seok is a host. he also rakes in a ton of great reviews because he’s handsome and approachable. sometimes has nayeon with him and people loveee her. he never goes on breaks without hyun-ju or no-eul. is very meticulous with his work, never seats anyone with a waiter who wouldn’t be the best to serve them. #everyonelovesgyeongseok
park jung-bae (player 390)
jung-bae is the head chef. he runs a tight ship so orders are almost always perfect. once he had a chef under him that was so bad at his job (gyeong-su.) that he complained and complained to gi-hun until he got fed up and fired the poor guy.
(bonus: su-bong was not very happy with this and didn’t come into work for a couple days to “support his boy gyeong-su”).
park min-su (player 125)
min-su is a waiter and the newest staff member. despite being new he almost never messes up because he took training under jun-ho very seriously. he takes his breaks with se-mi and they run errands for each other/cover each other’s shifts. although he covers more for se-mi than she does for him; he rarely ever misses work.
park yong-sik (player 007)
yong-sik is a cook but sometimes does delivery driving too when sae-byeok can’t. really locks in when his mom is coming into the restaurant although he does his job well every other day of the week. as a delivery driver, he is definitely more approachable and chatty compared to sae-byeok, but he doesn’t love delivery driving because he prefers to be in the kitchen where he doesn’t have to interact with as many people.
salesman (ddjaki man, gong yoo)
the salesman always comes in at the same time, same day without fail. he orders one thing and one thing only and it’s usually black coffee or alcohol. never gets actual food. none of the waitstaff likes to deal with him because he’s almost too quiet. it’s unsettling.
seong gi-hun (player 456)
gi-hun is a manager. he’s mostly in charge of hiring, firing and dealing with customer complaints. he’s kind but gets exasperated pretty quick although he tries his best to hide it. out of the two managers he’s seen around more than sang-woo. never misses work but is interestingly not seen as much when in-ho swings by.

Cinematographer: Kim Ji-yong
Production Designer: Ryu Seong-hie
Starring: Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Kim Yeong-cheol, Hwang Jung-min, Kim Roi-ha, Eric Mun, Lee Ki-young, and Oh Dal-su.

Arthdal Chronicles
Tumblr media
The first season of this fantasy story hits close to home. It depicts the cruelty and greed of villages that have the resources, food and technology to take advantage of others. The story doesn't waist time, the first episode starts with the Arthdal leaders asking the Neanthals to become part of their power. The Arthdal are afraid of the peaceful but strong Neanthals and pretend to negotiate, knowing they are not interested. And what do they do? The Arthdal leaders trick their own people and kill the Neanthals in order to take their lands. Asa Hon learns this when she is in the middle of the attack, and in order to safe Neanthal children, she leaves with a child and Ragaz, with whom she later has children with.
Arthdal continues to annihilate weaker villages, taking them as slaves for hard labor. It is Tagon, an Itgu in hiding, that makes all this possible for Arthdal. And even though he is loved by the village as a hero, his father and other leaders are trying to find ways of killing him, including making Mihol's daughter, Teaelha, into a spy. Even though Tagon is cruel, there is an innocence to his longing to be loved and accepted by the people. His relationship with Teaelha is of a love stronger than their ties to their families and interests. And even though we don't like what he does, some times we do wish him success in his endeavors and fight against the Arthdal leaders for power.
But it is the story of the Wahan Tribe that reminds us that Tagon and all Arthdal are cruel and greedy people that have no respect for others. This is a peaceful tribe in a far away land. They are more like Neanthals in their believes but they are also prejudice against Itgus like Eunseom, whose mother leaves him there before she dies. Eunseom's only true friend is Tanya, the daughter of the priestess and scientist of the village.
It is almost impossible to reach the place but Tagon and the Arthdal leaders find the way to reach the land, it takes them 10 years to reach it and less time to destroy it and take its people as prisoners and slaves. Here we see the struggle of these people who get separated, sold into slavery and fight with each other and their enslavers in order to survive. But it also shows the Wahan people mesmerized by the innovations and way of life in this civilized village.
Tanya ties Eunseom to her by naming him her dream and he will do anything to save her, but destiny takes them into two different paths. These two characters are also very naive, their innocence and sense of justice is what makes others follow them. They both want to forge a world where everyone is equal, no prejudice against people that are different, everyone on equal standing.
Tanya's relationship with Saya is a sad one at best. She is using Saya while Saya genuinely likes her. And even though, at some point she sees him as a friend and cares about him, she still uses his affection towards her. But she is not the only one using Saya, so is Tagon who separated him from his mother when he was a child and Teaelha who became his caregiver for Tagon. Still, Saya is not stupid and he knows how to play the game.
This first half ends with the downfall of the rule of the Arthdal leaders: Daekan, White Mountain, and Hae tribes; giving way to Tagon's rule under the name of Aramun; which damages the relationship he had with Teaelha. Tanya is now the high priest while Eunseom becomes a god for the Ago tribe and starts unifying weak tribes to end fights among them and focus on fighting against their common oppressor.
Tumblr media
The second season starts 8 years after the final events of the first one. And the fighting is no longer centered on colonialism, but on taking down a threatening force that is not letting them continue with their expansion of territories. I have heard of people wondering why the change of actors for critical characters. I wouldn't have minded seeing the same actors since they are excellent ones and we got used to them. But I didn't mind the changes, I think that these new actors, brought some darkness to the characters that had been innocent and naive in the first season. They have learned to play the game and they are using what they have learned for their gain.
Tagon and Teaelha are no longer the close couple they had been, but they still love each other and have a son that unites them. Theirs is a tragic and powerful love story, tainted by the struggle for power.
In this half, we see Tagon's fall, and the rise of the ideology that drove Tanya and Eunseom into battle. But we are left with an open ending that promises more blood and restlessness. Saya wants Arthdal for his own since he can't have Tanya's love; and Teaelha wants to take Arthdal back as she promised Tagon; while Eunseom struggles to make Arthdal the land he and Tanya had envisioned.
It is the bloody story of a civilization in this fantasy world that reflects the truth about the history of our world so full of tyranny, blood and inequality.
It is not a story with clear lines and we will switch sides as their goals become twisted, but so is the story of rulers in the past and the present. This is a fantasy story, but it also criticizes what makes a country a country - it's bloody history of greedy men.
