Hello!!! You are a genius, Shame. Possessive jealous fucked up Ford is my cup of tea. Then we add in oblivious Stan who only sees the best in his twin brother?? PERFECT.

Stan 100% sees Ford as a goody two shoes who would do no wrong. He’s his quiet twin brother who would prefer to read a book about astrophysics and the possibilities of dimensional travel then interact with people. So when Stan gets his first girlfiend he doesn’t think Ford would care. If anything he thinks Ford would be happy for him! And Ford is. At least he acts like it, but Ford is a little liar who is already planning a billion ways to break the two of them up.

When they break up Stan is heartbroken because come on, the guy is a hopeless romantic, and Ford gets to swoop in and comfort his twin brother :) maybe even grab a feel when they hug. They rarely show such blatant affection now that their older and Ford will take every opportunity to feel up his twin.

Rinse and repeat.

Then Carla Mcorkle comes around and Stan really thinks she’s the one, you know? Well, he thought she was, but then she left him for that hippy dude. Once again he’s back in Ford’s arms, pretending he’s not crying and Ford makes sure to hide his research about musical mind control when Stan isn’t looking.

Ford finally comes clean when they’re on the Stan O’ war and he expects a huge blow out. He already has a defense prepared which basically boils down to “We’re soulmates, Stanley. I had to!” Only to find out Stan had figured it out eventually (whether before or after he got kicked out, both can work really) and was just playing along because they’re both manipulative little shits. Carla is the only one he’s genuinely upset with because he actually really liked her and starts to flirt with random people to piss Ford off. If Ford wants him so bad he has to prove it, no more hiding behind his significant others to get with Stan. This eventually leads to nasty old man sex because they’re both freaks <33

The denizens, too, sometimes bear many similarities. It can be difficult to tell at a glance which category an entity falls under—especially if they’re a more liminal case.

So when Damian saw one such entity wearing the guise of his missing twin, he came to a reasonable but incorrect conclusion. One that made him very, very angry at the thing standing before him.

He assumed that he was seeing a Faerie that had stolen Danyal’s face and name.

i think that, in addition to many other things, what javadi really values about mckay as a mentor is that she immediately sees javadi as an equal. when javadi gives her "i'm 20 and i deserve to be here" spiel, mckay's first response is something along the lines of "wait that's so cool. and believe me, i know how it feels. i'm a 42 year old R2." she doesn't really dwell on javadi's age and continues with the typical small talk (what rotations have you done, do you have a specialty chosen, etc). for javadi, who's used to proving herself worthy of her spot to everyone including her own parents, it's probably so refreshing to have a mentor who's first instinct is to treat her just like anyone else. mckay doesn't give her special treatment, even teasing javadi in the same ways she messes with other coworkers she's known for much longer and not hesitating to call her out when she messes up or makes assumptions. prior to this, it's implied that javadi is used to people either a) assuming she doesn't belong due to her age, b) walking on eggshells around her because her mom is peering around the corner, or c) some combination of both. for mckay to just...not care and treat javadi like any other med student is what starts off their relationship so strong. mckay's used to people assuming things about her, so she's not about to do that to anyone else, and it's exactly what javadi needs to feel like she's able to do her own thing.

Danny phased through the wall, which normally he wouldn't do but fuck it he's just had the best moment of his life, walked over to the couch and pivoted before falling back onto it.

"Girlfriend, you would not believe the absolute hunk of a man I've just met tonight." He says, a dramatically dreamy sigh leaving his lips as he slipped his eyes shut.

"And you would not believe the dreamboat of a woman I've just met tonight either." Sam, fully matching his energy, pushed away from the counter and threw herself onto the back of the couch, hands resting over it and placing her head on it as she sighed in the exact same way he did.

Tucker took a sip of his concoction of various monster energies before letting out an acknowledging hum. "Who would've thought, the key to defeating a ghost and a witch would be masked bat vigilantes."

"Oh, Tucker." Sam tilted her head back, looking at him through half lidded eyes. "You just had to be there, such beauty. Such grace. And that suit? You should have seen how it made her body look!"

"Mhm." Tucker hummed lightly, more amused than anything.

"And those muscles?" Danny let out a whistle. "Goodness gracious. He lifted me up so easily-"

"Well, granted. You aren't that heavy." Tucker pointed out.

"Oh hush," Danny huffed. "What I would do to meet him again..."

"Oh, I cannot help but agree." Sam said, laying her head back on the couch.

They both out a completely smitten sigh at the exact same time, in the exact same way.

Tucker took another sip of his unholy concoction and leaned on the counter. Honestly, he loves these two, he isn't going to lie, but man are they simps.

Knowing Danny's luck, though? He would probably meet his masked vigilante again, or at least someone associated. Sam... Well. The least said about her own methods the better.

Tucker snapped a quick photo of the two, tilted it with "losers got a crush on the bats." before sending it to a certain librarian he's made friends with.

Oh, he just had an idea.

"Honestly, I'm hurt." Tucker said, the corners of his lips twitching as he placed down his cup and put his phone back into his pocket. "To think you two would replace me for two masked vigilantes."

The way the snapped to attention would be a moment Tucker would remember and lord over them for the rest of their lives.
