hello again!! it's been a few days since I last sent in an ask (both because I didn't want to overwhelm you and because I was exploring another potential hyperfix ... pfft) and even though I'm sure I'm not obligated to, I will still apologise for it just because I'd feel guilty if I didn't,, bwhehehe

Kind of a spite fic categorically, but I think I'd prefer awareness as an intention over spite 😂 this author's life has been a bit weird Tim in a Bottle (38,683 words) - Tim, trapped in an industrial freezer with Jason, is attacked by memories in the text equivalent of a bottle episode. I know it combines two tricky qualities-- extensive conversation in one room and flashbacks-- but it seems to work alright anyway lol Tap Out (8,002 words) - Jason and family attend a gallery event for Damian, and Jason reflects on trusting Bruce. Now that I think about it, this is quite a lot like both Spike and Tim in a Bottle 😂 Except Tim (2,772 words) - Tim gets lost in the woods with his abandonment issues for company. Featuring both Bambi and Lady and the Tramp references Harvest (30,129 words) - Bruce and Jason harvest some corn and engage in hallmark movie emotion-having. Hmmm... Pretty much all my fics have some kind of comfort ending. I'm gonna go with a friend, though he may wander far, because of the guilt and injury it ends on.

Again, they all strive for a relatively happy ending... so I'll say sweetgum, which is pretty angst-free to begin with.

Weaving in flashbacks has gotten good feedback. In general, I think I'm pretty good at being concise (at least, I find editing off words a lot of fun)

Being a little too concise or obscure, sometimes 😂 losing clarity. Overcomplicating things until I either have an unwieldy WIP on my hands or have sacrificed my motivation for solving all the mysteries before I write the fic

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've played with it a little. I think <using brackets> so the translation is in-text works best for me

Star Trek: The Original Series, unless you count the thinly veiled MASH fan comic I messed around with

make me a cradle (1,811 words) - wrote this in a semi-fugue state and I'm uncommonly satisfied with it-- Alfred's voice has a neat quality, it's sufficiently punchy, and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It even manages a comforty ending! Ironically, it's my lowest ranking fic by kudos 😂 probably owing to the sensitive subject (attempted suicide) and being marked incomplete (with another sensitive subject, grief over Jason's death, promised). (Now that I think about it, I think I might have stealth released this also lol) Seriously considering marking it complete, though, since it stands well on its own. The mentioned follow up might happen someday, but the mood to write incredibly sad fic doesn't happen very often!

Maaka+Parker x reader headcanons

I love Wellington Paranormal but there is zero x reader content on Tumblr for it! So I thought I'd write some headcanons for my favorite characters, Sergeant Maaka and Constable Parker. I'm going to be doing separate headcanons as well as headcanons for them together. These are all going to be hella fluffy!

Sergeant Maaka x reader

Acts tough but is unbelievably soft

His love language is physical touch. He adores being kissed and cuddled after a long day.

He gives the absolute best hugs, they're so cozy and comforting

Parker probably had a massive crush on Maaka as soon as he met him and honestly, who wouldn't?

He was initially enamored by Maaka's appearance, but grew to fall in love with his soft, sweet personality underneath his tough exterior

He tried to hide it at first but, well, he really sucks at hiding things

Fortunately, Maaka reciprocated! He fell in love with Parker's sweet, timid personality.

They sleep together every night and it's the cutest thing. Maaka is the more cuddly of the two and loves holding Parker close to his chest. It's like cuddling with a giant teddy bear.

They're always very close to each other even on the rare occasions they're not touching

Kuroo steps into the tiny, cramped vintage gaming shop with a couple customers still checking things out at the register.

His boyfriend is being a cute, diligent worker with his lil uniform and hair tied up and

his nerdy little self glowing from talking about whatever games these people are buying.

It's downright adorable and Kuroo is forever happy that Kenma landed a part time job here while growing his streaming channel at the same time.

What Kuroo didn't like though, the damn coworker who hovered around Kenma.

Sakurai? Sasuke? Saburo? Whatever, Kuroo couldn't be bothered to remember his name, he only focused on those leering gazes from the creep.

And he was at it yet again.

Kuroo is fairly sure this guy has like, a decade on Kenma and probably wants to kidnap him into his basement for awful things.

He's never voiced his dislike for the man, but he also refuses to let Kenma be alone with him away from the shop.

Kuroo has invited himself to every mixer, every convention, every fuckin' anime event this guy wants to take Kenma to.

He's protecting his boyfriend from possible misdeeds! He also gets to act extremely clingy without Kenma complaining about it.

While Kuroo plots out how to get this guy fired, the two coworkers strike a conversation as the last customer leaves.

Kenma seems tired as he nods along to whatever mister man is saying and Kuroo is so ready to swoop in, buuut Kenma told him not to be weird at work.

'It's unprofessional, Kuro.'

Well, you're unprofessionally huggable! How is Kuroo supposed to resist squeezing his baby kitten at any time of the day?!

The Villainess Is A Marionette: @dxmoness (A beautiful art-style, just like you! Also you have a bunch of beautiful characters, whom are all horrible, but at-least they're pretty? Also the main characters are amazing and gorgeous, but more than you, but still very beautiful!)

Siren's Lament: @honestly-oceanie (An amazing story about heart-break, sirens and water...-3-..I love water....<3 Also the story includes some of the cutest characters and an amazing plot about a girl, her crush and a siren friend who shares his siren curse with her and whom helps her find a way out for both of them! My no. 3 comfort manhwa)

Who made me a princess: @yonokomizuka  @myearts-uwu (Both of them are my older moots, from the Rashta/Jennette lover, Rashta X Navier and Jennette X self-love times...Good times, but this manhwa was the first every manhwa I ever encountered...It has a good a good art-style, with amazing women in it!!! Diana, Jennette, Penelope, Lily, and Myra!!!! All are amazing and this manhwa describes these two the best, for half-their content is this manhwa only and the 'who made me a princess' tag is only surviving thanks to these two! Love you!)

This was really cute to write!

Sans loves it and won't let you forget it either. It's just... so dog-gone cute. He's gonna have a ball with this one, and the more disgruntled you get at his puns, the more insufferable he becomes. Any gift you give him is a fantastic chance to tease you.

Red loves it, but only as long as no one's looking. Secretly he loves soft things like plush pillows and cozy blankets and you, but you'll be hard pressed to get him to admit it out loud. Surprise gifts always catch him off guard, and it takes a while until he is used to you giving him random gifts.

This is now Violet's most prized possession. He doesn't have many material things that make him happy, even though he and his sibling aren't trapped underground anymore. The fact that you gave it to him makes it even more important to him. It represents memories made in a happier time, and it helps him relax. It'll take a bit to get used to, but over time he'll stop treating each and every surprise gift like it'll be the last one.

Poppy is...unsure at first. No, it's alright, it's very cute and they appreciate the sentiment, it's just...is this really for them? Are you sure? They're hesitant to accept the gift, not because they don't trust you, they're a little worried they might...wreck it somehow. Once you can convince them it's okay, it becomes their go-to stress/anxiety relief item. It's good for hugging, and it was given by someone they love!

Nyx loves it (like they love all your random gifts), but they're gonna be a bit of a butt about it. For example, when you walk into a room, expect to have this thrown at you. On the other hand, when you're away, they'll sleep curled around it. It's a comfort item for them, but it's quite possible they don't realize it.

Ash is...conflicted. It's cute, and he gets that you want to give him stuff, but does he really deserve this? It's just, it's so...so not what he's used to. But for you, he manages to stamp down that feeling, ignore his brother, and give you a smile. He'll cherish it.

Beacher will cherish everything you give him, but this is something special. It's so soft and huggable, he just wants to squish it! If he wasn't worried about it getting all full of sand and salt water, he'd take it with him on his beach trips. He's a little sad to leave it at home but if he gets to bring you, well, that makes up for it.

#10: Mr. Snoodle

While Mr. Snoodle is very subtle with his gender noncomformity, look at him rocking that purple eyeliner and pink blush!! Unfortunately, Mr. Snoodle is also cishet, which automatically makes him lose points, plus the lack of effort he puts into his genderconformity is quite clear if you've seen him next to his wife Mrs. Snoodle (who by the way, is a stylish girlboss icon). Because of this, Mr. Snoodle stands at the bottom of the list at #10.

#9: King Brian

We👏Stan👏A👏GNC👏King👏!!!💅 I mostly just put him on this list because I wanted to say that, but he is rocking that mascara! His gncness is far from over the top, however he is canonically bisexual (x), which automatically gives him the advantage over Mr. Snoodle, thus earning him a spot at #9.

#8: Hocus

Hocus legally had to be on this list, because all wizards are inherently gnc af. The robes, the staff, the fun hat, all hella gnc. However by wizard standards, Hocus is pretty mild with his gncocity, so when I consider the conversion factors, Hocus is technically only kinda gnc, even if he looks hella gnc by most standards. Because of this, our homie Hocus ranks in at #8.

#7: YaYa

Yaya is on here for a few reasons. For one, they are nonbinary (Mr. Mind Candy himself told me), and it's impossible to conform to a gender identity that has no real expecations to conform to. Plus have you seen their mane? Their lashes? Their fabulous pink cape? Yeah, this is one gnc zonkey! However YaYa has many tough competators that they're up against, so they still only earn a spot at #7.

#6: Furnando

Look at this fancy magic man! Honestly, I get gender envy from this funky lil guy. The top hat with the feathers on it, the mask, and the cape are a killer combo! Furnando also looks like someone whom one of my irl friends would kin, and that guy is also hella gnc, so he gets bonus points for that. "But tumblr user gingersnap-propaganda,"⁠—you might be saying⁠—"Furnando is so overwhelmingly gnc! How is he only at #6!?" Well my dear comrades, all I can say is that there are so many hella gnc moshlings! Even though Furnando ranks highly above average on the gnc-scale, even that is not enough to place him any higher than at #6.

#5: Weegul

Weegul encompasses a form of gender nonconformity that few people tend to truely appreciate: cutesy androgeny. They have no gender, just a a cute little smile, a round huggable form, a dazzling golden horn, a profound desire for incredible violence, and a cute lil heart tummy! Awwwww. Even though this little pal's gncness is off the charts, he still only ranks in at #5.

#4: Oddie

I know what you're thinking: that's one hella gnc donut!! In fact, his gender nonconformity is so obvious that I'm not even going to waste my time explaining what is already clear to you. One thing I know you're all thinking is "Wait, there's moshlings that are even more gnc that Oddie!??" and yes there is! Even though Oddie is pretty high up on this list, his gender nonconformity is surpassed by three other moshlings, putting him at #4.

#3: First Officer Ooze

Now that is a gnc snail! If you thought the snails here on Earth were enough as is, then your mind is probably being absolutley blown away right now by the sheer amount of gender nonconformity that this dude oozes (pun intended). Not only is xe purple (my favorite colour :3), but xe's also covered in polka dots, which gives xim gnc bonus points. But again, competition is tough! First Officer Ooze still only earns a spot at #3.

#2: Threddie

Shit dude, this sock has so much gender in all of the places you wouldn't expect it. The gender nonconformity that this sock contains is so unreal... if I could, I would leech away Threddie's gender for the taking like some sort of gender vampire, but I can't because gender vampires can't leech away other gender vampire's genders (that's how Threddie got all of that gender). What's so special about Threddie is that they took each and every one of their genders and expressed them in a completely different way than you'd expect. Yet still, there is yet another moshling that surpasses Threddie in gender nonconformity, which is why they are only in at #2.

#1: Glob

This blob's gender nonconformity is absolutely fucking buckwild. Every person, binary or nonbinary, trans or cis, can look at this blob and immediately feel gender envy. Tell me I'm wrong! Glob's form, Glob's colour, everything about Glob radiates chaotic gender energy. This blob has so much gender, prolonged exposure can and has killed people (haters will say it's the neurotoxins 🙄). If you don't believe that Glob is the absolute pinacle of gncocity, you can unfollow me right now (but actually don't ily <3). I think that I can say with absolute confidence that no other moshling deserves the #1 spot.
