Everytime I play a new Assassin's Creed game I fall more in love with the franchise

The thematic implications of Caitlyn transitioning from solely a sharpshooter, to learning the ropes of hand-to-hand combat, and how it follows her growing distrust in Ambessa. If the weapon is a reflection of mentality, it prefigures Cait's mental expansion - away from narrow-minded thinking and acting from a distance. Instead of tackling from afar, she melds her skills in accuracy and deduction *with* close-up action. This is her power play. "Vision" is cait's strength (as opposed to "Might" and "Guile" and "Sacrifice") and Ambessa qualifies this with the phrase "tunnels in your eyes". Ironically, she trains Caitlyn and literally gives her the tools to pull away from her rifle-mindset. In teaching her how Noxus views strength, she offers her the keys to dismantle it

Who was gonna tell me Arno wrote letters to his late father. I’m curious to know how you feel about all the he/him lesbian debates online? Because I have gotten into a couple online myself and I personally do not understand why people care so much about other people’s labels 😭😭

i think people need to get out and touch grass. maybe learn some queer history. focus on their own lives etc etc. idk. i think people care too much about labels too. like they're not rigid and they're helpful, yes! but i am Tired of all the boxes, yk? humans aren't meant to be slipped into neat boxes, how boring.

even if you don't understand,,,, that's okay! either listen and get educated or,,, be quiet because this whole "that makes no sense and doesnt fit what i think" is the same mindset used against she/her lesbians. and like,,, the entire LGBTQIA+ community i fear.

queer discourse is so incredibly Tiring. they hate all of us, stop fighting and group together. i promise you the individual labels aren't an issue, it's just people exploring themselves 🙂↕️ those are my thoughts

My choice to play ac unity in French dub is both horrible and amazing at the same time bcs on one hand I cannot understand at all what the NPCs on the street are yelling at me but it feels so much more immersive to be yelled at in incomprehensible French as I gallivant around revolutionary Paris committing various unspeakable acts

I do not rejoice about Unity's self-imposed disaster. I would much rather they had stayed a functional company bc I know a lot of people's livelihoods have been needlessly put at risk no matter how this plays out.

But while I wish the Unreal folks all the best, I'm hopeful that the sheer number of people now looking for an open source alternative will add a lot of vitality to the open source game dev scene. Engines like Godot are only as good as their users (popularity, real world use cases, name recognition) and their contributors (functionality, usability, performance), and both groups are likely going to see increases as people flee Unity but also as current non-devs become aware of free and capable options because people are fleeing Unity.

listen it’s not my fault the ac wiki kept referring to arno and elise as adopted siblings so much so that it made me consider an au of unity where they are siblings and construct a version of unity around that to the point i’ve pavloved myself into being weirded out whenever i remember their canon romance

I got some advice that said it was a good idea to ask my peeps who follow my writing what you all would be interested in seeing on Patreon SOOOO - what would you guys like to see?

NOTE: Starting off on commissions I will only be doing Assassin's Creed stories but eventually I will branch out to other fandoms!
