When to post two-part thank you?

I'm looking for your opinion on when to craft my thank-you post for a two-part gift. My audiophile santa messaged me to let me know that one of my two packages had estimated arrival of April 4, but the first part arrived today.I haven't opened the first package, because I'm not sure how I'd like to handle it.Do I:Post thank you and photo of gift 1 now and amend the post in the future? Drawback: Less gallery gravitas. Benefit: No auto-reminders to post.Hold the post until the second part comes, allowing the anticipation to build?Ask santa what they prefer?I'm also especially curious about the opinion of Santas who have shipped multi-part gifts.
