omgomg i had this idea for pokémon and batfam and im SURE its been done before but i didnt look anything up this is just my take.

i think they would have different pokémon for civilian forms vs hero forms but they would all have a flying type pokémon.

but like corviknight is for batman but bruce would probably have like a pichu.

also the houndoom is from talia, it was a houndour when damian was dropped off. also im sure damian has a bunch of the small pokémon he can hold.

Also I have some very important (have no value other than that they made me giggle a bit) factoids (literally just made them up) about cowboy PT:

- Feitan has one of the tallest horses in the troupe but has to keep thinking of creative ways to get on bc he refuses to use a step stool like a normal person

- Shal used to be the one to drive the wagon but he got so diabolical with it that Franklin is now the designated driver

- Nobunaga carries this big ass rifle with him everywhere he goes and has been banned from multiple establishments because of it

- Phinks has been banned from the local saloon for starting one too many bar fights. Also he’s probably a bull rider in his free time? idk why it just makes sense somehow.

- Machi is a roper (obviously)

(sorry I’m so late to this bahahahahahahhahaah…December is a CRAZY month😆) I’ll put the answers under the cut bc I am a yapper🤭 AND THERE IS *A LOT* OF ART & WIPS & TALKING🤭🫶

1) What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

This is a good question😭 I think of Eloise as separate from the girl I played in the game, AND separate from the MC in general bc I completely changed ancient magic & the whole storyline to something more interesting to me. As I was playing the game, though, I was SO INTENSELY CURIOUS about what their backstory could be - why were they starting 5th year? Were they a squib? What about their family?

I honestly LOVE that the game is so open-ended about this, because it allowed me to find a way to place Eloise in with canon lore (her mom is actually mentioned by Sirius in the books🤭) AND (this hasn’t been revealed yet) give a conceivable reason as to why the Babbits are not in the Sacred 28 when the list is created.

I’m also FASCINATED by thinking of pureblood society & the Black family in general (Sirius/Bellatrix are my favorite characters & BOTH heavily influence how I think of Eloise) & I have so much fun MAKING ALL OF THIS UP !!!!!!!!!! I LOVE thinking of different traditions/ways that old pagan traditions can be corrupted by the purebloods trying to hold onto their legacy…how the purebloods navigate society and the world in VERY subtle interactions etc etc ETC !!!!! I could literally make a whole post on all of these headcanons I’ve made up about the universe my fic takes place in😆😆😆

Honestly NO😭 I think of her voice as very sweet but honestly it just kind of sounds like mine since I go into her mind so much as I write🤔 if anyone has any voice claims or ideas LMK !!!!

ELOISE HATES WEARING PANTS AND SHE HATES QUIDDITCH😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤 she HATE WATCHES every single quidditch match just to make sure Sebastian doesn’t get hurt…BUT she drags Ominis with her and tells him to let her know if anything happens bc she can’t bear to watch🤔 Sebastian is always getting himself hurt on purpose in Crossed Wands & even quidditch in the hopes that Eloise will come over🤭 bc she always insists on the muggle way…(everyone thinks they’re weird)

Another thing that I think is HILARIOUS is that as a design choice I just gave her a braid bc a) I think it’s cute & b) it’s a way to tame her crazy crazy crazy hair & c) so I don’t have to draw her hair down. BUT every time we talk about mc interactions everyone wants Eloise to show them how to braid their hair…SHE has to demonstrate though bc there is no way anyone that isn’t her could tame her own hair😫

hello i need to get these thoughts out lest i turn hysterical from bottling it all up.

i’ll be honest i have bare minimum info on raphael, all i know is that he owns a punishment room and he doesn’t seem to hate the mc (why in the world would kidnapping the mc into heaven be a good idea ever).

based on what i know, i think raphael is more knowledgeable, or at least open to talk about, these tools than michael & gabriel. i have no idea if he plays with himself in his free time or if he’s as celibate as michael or gabriel but he seems like. he’s the former LMFAO i’m sorry this seems so ooc when his profile info is basically him killing everything on sight 😭

anyway my thoughts on michael based on what i was able to read in his christmas story: he’s so fucking hot. i mean he probably knows what goes down with toys and such, he just actively chooses to not talk about it. one glance and it’s “if i see that again it’s the time out corner for you”

I WANNA MENTION THAT while drawing this i had the sudden realisation that gabriel, intentionally or not, fled the pub once 12 am hit, even when he was close to finishing. this info is insane to me bc this was his first time ever being naked naked??? so like he has never once looked down and got curious about his chastity belt (nice design btw) while he was in heaven? whattaheck

what about angel blood aphrodisiacs or moons when they get horny? lmao

maybe he thinks being played like that is not fun bc he never got to finish, maybe he didn’t like the thought of being exposed to anyone except god, or maybe it’s a different reason entirely, but he still LEFT once the christmas miracle shindig wore off and that’s insane to me. he must hate the mc that much

no matter. i still ship mc/gabriel bc the hate-slash-sexual tension idea that gabriel will do whatever it takes to clear the mc’s porn addiction corruption (whether he kills them, beats it out of them, or gets fucked trying) is what keeps me going HAJSJSJ

quick biology lesson: wtf are ocelli?

ocelli are simple, light sensing eyes, which complement the larger, more complex compound eyes on a number of insects. they are most commonly seen in threes but some species have only two or one ocelli. look it up!!!

i love them, especially because on a praying mantis i was observing under a microscope, the ocelli almost looked like gems on the mantis’ forehead (a mantis i caught and named morgue princess btw, rip beautiful girl) because they were amber-colored rather than black. definitely a thought for if you make any zetans on miitopia (switch release) or draw them because you have more freedom with coloring/painting on features.

here’s some extra info on them in case anyone wants to use their made up race wholesale. feel free to pick-and-choose features however you want, but it can be fun to join an existing idea as well! i call them zetans bc all their last names are zeta. simple, and maybe a little dumb, but i like it. last name doesn’t have to be zeta, it was just a way to designate who they are in my tomodachi life file.

the ocelli are made with the two dots nose + a birthmark centered right under them. i usually center them between their “compound” (regular) eyes, but i think higher on their forehead could work too! lots of them have antennae too—but i feel the ocelli are the most important feature to make them zetans. the antenna are just eyebrows placed high enough and upturned enough that they look like little stalks coming off the mii’s head. definitely try different eyebrow shapes for this!

miss epsilon has regular eyebrows as you can see, so my thought is she is half zetan half human. there’s really no limits, and infinite room for variability. they’re a diverse species just like us. any skin tone, any hair color, any face shape etc etc etc go hog wild.

ultimately they are based on insects so i use that for inspiration. for me, if they don’t have visible eyebrows or antenna, that means the antenna are hidden in the hair (see my girl #nebula carina), but you can also keep regular eyebrows and have the same logic—their antenna are there somewhere, just not visible on their mii!

i was hoping to make a more formal post with some drawings and screenshots of ALL my zetans to show their diversity—as a response to people who wanted to see more of my alien miis. i will still do this at some point. i have a bunch of other non-human miis to show off too! real life responsibilities be damned, i’ll make those posts eventually.

First off, I freaking love your comics. They are the reason I wake up way too early some Saturdays and actually sleep Friday nights (not tonight obviously, but still!) it’s so much fun waiting for the next update because I know it’s all going to be AWESOME!!!!

Seriously though it was because of your art that I was able to draw Casey Jones, and have him turn out so good!!!! I wnded up loving how he looked because I totally used your comic panels as references. I was even able to submit an accordion book of Casey WIPs for my last art class of high school!! I’m not the most confident artist so my personal style is whack, sometimes it’s recognizable and sometimes it’s just shapes on a page, but I enjoy writing and painting. I honestly was so freaking panicked when I realized Donnie was flipping dying but calmed a bit since then knowing we’re nearing the end, but I’m wondering how many updates there will be left because the family should probably get back to being turtles and Donnie having that self acceptance about being a turtle. Yes! I use an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The app I use is called Clip Studio Paint, it’s a bit complex, but once you get the hang of it it’s incredibly powerful and has a lot of tools. I was able to learn how to use it in a weekend so it’s too insanely complicated.

here’s a big ✨shut your mouth✨ to every character who’s said he’s ugly- get your eyes checked, get a job get away from him (I know it’s because of the fourth wall’s filter it’s not their fault I’m just being silly)

the fourth wall is such a cool power to have. the complexity of how it acts based on his perception of fiction vs reality as the reader …. that’s very interesting and well thought out!!! how it lowkey has a consciousness too and it’s so tied into his mental state makes me want to psychoanalyze this guy even more. probably one of the most unique powers I’ve seen created and explored in a story tbh

I think the entire system of how the world works is really well done in general. constellations watching the apocalyptic bloodbath via livestream and sending donos to their favorite little guys shouldn’t work as well as it does and cracks me up so much 😭 (uriel is the best). I enjoy learning about all the irl different fables, history & mythologies too. plus doing my own research is fun! I did a deep dive through the web to learn about dokkaebi folklore lol I’m having a good time

I also related hard to how dokja read TWSA throughout his life, the story was a companion for him. got choked up bc I reflected on how much my own favorite companion stories for years mean to me. there’s been situations I’ve thought “what would (character) do?” dokja saying stuff like “what would joonghyuk do?” felt like I got called out <3 I’d probably be the same as him if my favorite characters suddenly came to life

anyways yeah I caught up with the manhwa looked online and discovered it comes from an already completed novel with over 500 chapters and the manhwa is barely a third into adapting it though it’s been releasing every week for 4 years. and that it’ll take like 10 more years to finish. I then planted my face in my hands and screamed with despair

I’ll shrivel up waiting to see what happens……………heyyy woahhhh.. whats this light of salvation ? the novel file just completed download on my phone ? that’s crazyy wow I opened it ? im scrolling it right now ? omg I’m telling myself in the mirror “pace yourself, try to space your reading out do NOT read too fast” ?

I HAVE PLAYLISTS FOR ALL THE CHARACTERS!! Ive been thinking about how to share them for awhile bc I LOVE these playlists and they help my brain rot on this AU but mm! Just wanted to get that out there im holding onto these

Something people didn’t catch was that in this animation, which is supposed to take place around the time Eddie moved into the neighborhood, he had his mail hat! But, currently, he doesn’t! That’s not because he lost it, Howdy actually stole it! Howdy immediately attempted to scam Eddie when he first arrived, stealing his hat and trying to sell it back to him, but he did not know that Eddie would not give a fuck. Howdy thought Eddie cared way more about his job then he actually does. So, Eddie’s hat is still currently decaying under Howdy’s desk.

All the characters have trauma or something depressing about them… except Julie! I’m not sure why but I just.. never came up with something reasonable for her backstory. I came up with a lot of ideas, but a lot of them seemed to cliche and controversial? Like, one of my ideas was some sort of sex working trauma, but I thought oooh of course you gave the most feminine character the sex working backstory! Another idea was eating disorder trauma, but again, ooh i gave the fem one the ED! The same thing happened with SA trauma, it all just felt so… cliche. And I felt like I would get a lot of backlash if I tried to implement this. So.. im still working on it!

^ originally Franks backstory was going to be completely SA related, but I changed that. Still not spoiling how, though.

^^ also I really liked the sex working idea! Because I think it would be interesting if thats how Eddie and her met. Not that Eddie bought sex from her, but that they like worked together and slowly became friends! Eddie kept her safe n stuff, beat the shit out of ppl that didnt pay yknow? Explored a deeper level of understanding between them

Ive been daydreaming about attempting to make my own little bootleg “play fellow exhibition” not nearly to the extent that Clown did, but just some sort of fake “restored” things! Maybe even fake interviews with those that remember the show! Ive even recorded some lines, of my own voice, of fake voice clips restored from the show. I haven’t had the confidence to post any of them just yet aa. I think my Eddie impression is IMPECCABLE though. Maybe bc I have a southern accent

I.. have no actual reason for this. I literally just.. forget! Im literally currently drawing a piece with Julie and Sally where they both have 5 fingers. Why?? Bc the reference I used was of two human girls so!! Just wanted to put it out there, that is not on purpose

I hide a lot of secrets in my art. Bc its fun. If you ever see something in my art thats a little too dark, feel free to up the brightness and see what you find. Does something sort of look like Morse code? Feel free to try it out! I’ll give you a hint, I have used both of these techniques to hide secrets in my art already. The Morse code one is really hard to find, though, so props to you if you find it!

I like to think that the AU’s show is like Rick and Morty. It started out this comedic, very clearly adult-humored show, but slowly the characters had lore! People started watching not for the humor but for the interesting characters. Like when Rick was revealed to have a depressing story with his wife and all that, it was the same as when ppl first found out about Frank’s strange amnesia and PTSD. Like “?? Who put lore in my funny adult comedy??” Yknow what i mean

^ i like to think there was some mind-bending moment where it was revealed Frank doesnt remember anything about his childhood and everyone watching was like :O

Originally in the show, (like season one), the characters were the way they are to make fun of those things. Confusing, but what i mean is that Poppy was a trans woman to make fun of trans people, Eddie and Frank were to make jokes about gay ppl, etc. but SIKE once the show got more seasons and got lift off they became actual characters instead of just jokes! The creators just wanted to make ppl love the show before they made the gay characters actually have personalities, so they couldn’t get cancelled prematurely! HA SUCKERS!!

When it come to colors, I’ll admit i do it by instinct and turns out i have a good instinct lol. I really like color symbolism and always sort of use it in my artworks but i mainly developed liking for some combinations that i saw and learned from everyday life inspirations.

For fashion inspo, i really like browsing pinterest posts of handmade / designed clothing / traditional outfits and see what i like in it ( shapes / colors / texture / specific way it looks on the body )

COSPLAYERS ARE REALLY GOOD RFERENCES !

By analysing what i like in my references i get to have more creativity in the artwork because then i focus on doing something i find aestheticaly pleasing rather than copying something that someone else did better / that i can’t reproduce.

When it come to pose it’s a bit similar to clothing but i don’t always use references ( my anatomy i always better with a reference lol )

I either construct the pose by myself by sketching quick forms until i like one. Or i find a posing i like, see what i really like in it ( hands ? Specific body shape ? Fold ? ) and sketch it.

Here the poses aren’t the same but the main idea is here : focus on the head + fingers covering some part of the head.

Now also important : i keep a personal sketchbook where i do artistic research. What i do in it is just drawing everything that i like while trying to keep the sketchbook pretty + have fun with materials / colors / shapes.

I only started writing in January & these fanarts I started in April so maybe I’m not the best to answer but I’ll try!!🫶🫶🫶

Short answer: I’m motivated by brainrot & the characters that move into my brain and demand to be drawn/written😭

Longer answer: I’ve always loved and been obsessed with stories & even before I learned fanfic was a thing last year (I live under a rock), I was always creating these crazy stories in my brain. I used to play the sims a lot for example…I would literally delete every premade family & make my own super complex relationships/generational drama and just watch the chaos play out and I always had so much fun coming up with different storylines and thinking about their personalities and how they would probably interact with each other.

I also read like CRAZY !!! 😳 I am a book devourer & am especially drawn to very long books that have beautiful writing and amazing characterizations:

And so, even though I don’t consider myself a very good writer, and I would never even hope to become as good as the authors I read, I think it’s fun to try and capture some feelings and emotions of what it’s like to be human💓 I always try to write the characters with love and care and maybe it’s my obsession to make them almost three-dimensional that keeps my brain rot strong😆 I might not achieve it but I’m having a lot of fun trying…

As for creating so consistently, the writing part isn’t so hard bc once I get an idea in my mind I just want to write it! I don’t get oneshot ideas often but when I do I’m like😳✍️✍️✍️✍️ until it’s over😆 I think coming up with plot/ideas/characterizations takes me a lot longer than actually writing - I barely edit what I post because what I write down is already pretty polished.

For my art, I just love the human body/anatomy/angles etc and I have a lot of fun trying to make the drawings have a lot of movement and that’s kind of what motivates me. Art is also my job & so I’m just used to doing it all the time & these fanarts are a fun way to cool down after I do my “normal” art. The more I draw the more ideas I get, and I like to draw scenes from either my fanfic, or scenes that I think are cute but will probably never happen. But THEN sometimes the “extra” drawings inspire things, like my latest oneshot🫶

If you’re reading this and you’re a writer or artist too & look at it differently I would LOVE to hear what you think!!! Since I’m just starting out with all of this maybe there are better methods😆🫶 for me it’s just a love for stories and wanting to create all the time!!!

Yeah, some of the spoilers are unavoidable, but I’m sure there are a lot of things we still have no idea about, and we’re definitely going to enjoy them tremendously once we’re at that point~ I love how you pointed out that Toboso’s writing is FUN, and I agree with you completely. There is so much to dive into and think about in her stories, not just the major plot points. We’re super looking forward to checking all of it out. This is actually one of the reasons we want to wait until the book 7 is done and we’ve rewatched all of the previous chapters.

Floyd really is terrifying, and people do try to avoid him, and for a good reason indeed! But at the same time Floyd seems to be quite charming and popular?? I don’t know how exactly to describe it, I guess Floyd is the hell ride that you know for sure will kill you, but you can’t help but get drawn to it. Plus Floyd is good at capturing his prey lol

Oh we ship them quite strongly~ They’re kind of one of our favourite dynamics: a strict and rules-obsessed loud musclebrain + a snarky cynical little troll who is physically weak but know exactly what to say to get on the first guy’s nerves. It’s very specific I know lol

These two got to interact during the Glorious Masquerade and the Harveston events! I feel like every time they interact they end up pissing each other off, because Sebek really doesn’t like Idia’s attitude (he’s WHINY and he’s UNWORTHY he just CAN’T HAVE the same position as MALLEUS!) and Idia gets defensive and starts making fun of Sebek for being loud, self-righteous and not very smart.

You made such a good point, Anon; Sebek really is special in a way! He could stay as magicless as his dad, but he acts so loud and obnoxious about being a fae and worshipping Malleus Draconia of all people… he’s clearly misguided. But I feel like even if Rollo had this idea of making Sebek reconsider his own identity and being, he would change his mind the moment he sees Sebek again. He is so… so insufferable, it’s not worth it….

(Critter) Scribbly lore rambles bc I can’t sleep:

Scribbly meets Charlie and Pim through the smiling friends- she calls them. She wasn’t even sure the company was real.

She’s in a place similar to how Desmond was. Except she’s just not as… outward… as she was with it.

She explains that she was recently cut off from help from her parents (not much details are shared) and has been paying for everything from her savings account as well as trying to finish college while feeling lost on what she wants to do in life and with herself overall.

Needless to say the two critters helping her are stumped. With every positive thing they try to suggest, push her life towards, she doesn’t take to it- talking about all the things that can go wrong with it.

“I like drawing, I guess…” “then you should become an artist! They make money offa that, right?” “I’ve been trying since I was 16 this shit is not gonna work out.”

It’s so bad that by the end of the day, they can’t make Scribbly smile. They take her to the establishment so she can fill out some paperwork saying they couldn’t help her.

While Charlie is finding the papers, she ends up meeting Allan and Glep. They have pleasant conversation, and as Pim watches, he gets an idea.

“Scribbly- you said you were looking for a job, right? Why not work here?”

She’s reluctant at first- the only reason she made it here was because she was a failure, and he thinks she has a chance at being hired?

Allan and Glep talk about how there’s more than just ‘field work’ to do and she could become an intern or simply run errands.

She starts nodding along, growing to like the idea of it. Pim drags her into The Boss’ office for an impromptu meeting/interview and she’s hired. Turns out he’s really chill.

As Pim and Scribbly walk out of the office and explain the good news to the others- she finally smiles, and that little jingle plays and everything.

Seconds later Charlie walks back into the room holding the paperwork.

“Are you fuckin serious, you just wasted like five minutes of my time dude. I am not putting these back where they belong.”
