I got Lucky Brand deodorant one year for Christmas. Didn’t even know they sold deodorant. Would have preferred jeans but I tried Very Hard not to be an asshole about it.

Eeek I also need to send my thoughts about the fic, that ask you just answered reminded me 🥰🥰

Okay first I will start with the fluff, the references to Benny and Jack’s traumatic experience with Lus driving and how it has resulted in no one wanting to lend her a car was the comedic relief this HEARTBREAKING fic needed so tysm 😭😭 I also love the way Lu was so nervous to get her license, it was just so cute I LOVE HER. And ok all the references to Bucky and Gale and Bucky wanting to drive her and help her find a car and her knowing that Gale would keep his gum in the car AND! Gale deciding to take the job because she’d be near by was so cute 🥹🥹 BUT ONTO THE ANGST! There was so much of it but I diddd in fact eat it out of the palm of your hand. Like it was so sad and heartbreaking to see the true impact that everything has had on Lu because I do love to read others loving perspectives on her but I feel like you don’t fully get a sense of how much she is struggling and this made it is SO clear. It makes me so sad to think that she is doing such a normal thing, like applying for college and the experience is full of these intrusive trauma filled thoughts of hers. The mentions of the smear campaign and how sexualised she has been broke my heart. All in all I loved this so much ❤️❤️ Everyone say thank you MARINA!!

Hey, Jack and Benny and the fan proposition of Lu being a terrible driver was one of my favorite of many fan added bits of spice that evolved with Lu’s story- I simply HAD to dribble it into the first taste we get of her postwar life. Love those dudes.
