5. A female villain you love?

This question is strangely hard cause I have to debate with myself if morally complicated conservative women count or not, because a lot of the complicated women I like AREN'T placed in an explicitly adversarial position to "the heroes" (nor do the things I like tend to create that explicitly dichotomy of "hero" and "villain") and I still haven't been able to determine the answer to that-

But like- Plutomon Digimon Survive is a villain no matter how you slice it so uh- her. I can't say too much on her for Spoiler Reasons but Plutomon Digimon Survive is a Character of All Time can I get an Amen!

(I Mean I'd Love to put a character like Natushi here but I'm really hung up on the definitions here as you might notice.)

8. A minor female character you love anyway?

I was going to jokingly say that none of the things I like have women as Just minor characters but then I was thinking about it and I was like "Wait.....what media do I like (That I think about often) that has women in minor roles?" so I settled on Reverse 1999 Eagle since she is a minor character in story and has Very Little Going On outside of her ancedote focus:

I bet anon was asking for a character with actual like- 2 minutes of screentime but the truth is I simply just don't think too much about characters like that in general. If I do I tend to turn them into OCs since like...at some point they do just become my OC and I''m not going to be like "Oh this is the actual canon version of the character" when I've just written them as OCs. Plus my memory is shit so I really do need something to latch onto.

Keiko RGU might count though?

I find her really fun and interesting in the Black Rose arc since she's coming right after the most emotionally involved of the Black Rose Duelists (Wakaba) so you have a really nice duality there of Wakaba being Utena's best friend while Utena doesn't even know Keiko's name.

Oh and Rei!

She's great as well! I love whatever horrific situationship she had with Muu and how Muu thinks of her as like- a beautiful hero and puts her on a pedestal while simultaneously hating her for "not saving her." Okay maybe I do have more options for this than I thought-

13. An interesting femslash ship? (Canon or otherwise)

I was going to put a Yuri is my Job ship here and then I realized that I don't....consider any of those "romantic" ships like- to me Sumika and Kanako is a QPR, same with Yano and Hime- like those are complicated and nuanced relationships and I love them but Sumika and Kanako are textually Not Romance.

While for Yano and Hime it seems like Hime doesn't feel romantic attraction but a genuine sensual and sexual attraction towards Yano like- aro but not ace. Does that count for the purposes of this discussion?

The definition rests unclear, and I generally just ship situationships forever, but I do have one that isn't horrifically complicated- which is my friend keeps on telling me that apparently Eva and Natushi from Umineko have toxic yuri going on and Im like-

👨‍⚕️taku: OK HE IS MIXED FOR ME i like him in routes other than his own LOL i think hes rly fun as like a semi normal acting guy in weirdo town. Its cute he cares a lot about the ppl at the clinic and i like the scenes where he hangs out and eats with towa and rei so much its cute they are a silly family 😭

i think hes really fun as a nice dad or at least big bro in towas life but that is why i dont like his route romantically its WEIRD THAT WAY LOL... bro u have known towa way too long for this.. please fall for some other dilf or something!! his bad end was too much for me and i have a strong stomach !!! (less so the bugs and more the meth slave thing .. get a better hobby sir!!)

but otherwise i like him! him doing meth warcrimes besides the bug related ones are interesting and the whole mansion part of his route was rly cool and fun to read!! also hes just funny i love that hes always responding to things like -_-????

🍰Rei: I LOVE REI SO MUCH so cute 😭 his was my second fav route in general! hes so sweet and its so cute how much hes always thinking about everyone 😭 i also love how he has so many hobbies he has!! I didnt quite like his route as much from a plot/worldbuilding perspective as much as some of the others+the moneymatch stuff in general was kinda not as interesting just because i think its like. nothing super new or exciting i guess! but im a character writing person so that doesn't bother me lol!

I rly love his self love / acceptance journey.. i am emotional.. even if I visually hate his stupid tiny haircut!! i hope he can lean back into some of his not traditionally manly side after he is comfortable with gender stuff 🥺

I think as a romance route his was rly nice!!! it was cute and sweet and its sweet the ways they support eachother 🥺💖 towa feels very like affectionate in a cat way towards him its cute! I like them as bffs maybe more they are just too cute that way 😭 i want to b reis friend as well

regarding them as boyfriends i am a sappy romance person so their type of affection isn't my normal preference but it suits them! I think that why it was kind of hard to get through the start besides me never rly liking the ⭐problematic guy⭐ route in VNs LOL! but im glad in both endings they are so happy but was a nice surprise! yeah boys u have fun!!

🐇 fujieda : FUJI... I WROTE A LOT IN THE LAST ASK trying to think of new info i didnt write there. I love that he is actually kind of an airhead LOL i feel like he would be rly worried when towa said he caught ligma...... him before he teams up with towa is funny too like how often is he hiding in that concrete pipe???? is he comfy?? i love him.

🎨towa: I LOVE TOWA.... LIKE OK... my skrunkly.. initial impressions i love every manslut character by default and he is very nice to look at. his personality is so fun omg what a bitch!!! i love that for him.i am biased because its also my dayjob but him being a medical receptionist is so funny LMFAO he seems terrible at it go king give us nothing !! obviously his hobbies make him rly fun to read about, i rly like his art hes good at it!!

plot and everything else wise UOUGHhhhh he makes me emotional. i am having trouble articulating about him because of this KJHBJHB no matter the routes i love watching him open up his feelings a bit 😭 the way he actually cares about people close to him even though hes been trying to convince himself he doesn't need other ppl gets to me 😭 his vulnerable moments make me emo... him wanting to see fujis scars in the shower especially got to me 🥺😭

his backstory stuff is rly well done too i think his mental health is rly well done in general 😭 but its kinda refreshing its not all magically better either afterwards boys got a lot to work through!!! but i am so glad he can smile in fujis route.. .uuuuu😭😭😭

"This festival thing-" Koga swallowed thickly, irritated by the way cortisol seemed to be replacing his blood at a worrying pace, perhaps angrier at just how accustomed he was to feeling this way around you. He’d cornered you as you left the building, cheeks already burning as he stopped in front of you. You had an inkling what this was about- he’d never been exactly subtle, but you’d never turn up a chance to fluster him just a little more, so you let him speak. "I mean, it's not my cup a' tea but, if it's yours... I thought maybe ya'd like some company... ya know? Could be borin' alone." Inside, he was cringing at how lame that had sounded, not overly thrilled at letting you see him this vulnerable.  "Well, I said I'd help Knights out tonight so I don't know how much time I'll have..." You'd never quite been able to read him, as much as you wanted to, but he almost seemed disappointed. "But I think Ara-chan is gonna wanna look around afterwards and she likes to drag me along to this sort of thing so maybe I can ask her if you could tag along? I'm sure she won't mind." "No!" He hadn't meant to shout, but it didn't phase you. You knew he had somewhat of a volume control issue. "You don't want to join us?" You took a step closer to him- head tilting to the side curiously- and his breath hitched at your proximity, but he couldn't bring himself to step back. "I think Mika-chan will be there too, and I usually just hang back and let them do their own thing, so you don’t need to worry about being left out." "Argh, dont ya get it?!  I just want it to be us." The smile that spread across your face at this, teasing as it was, was enough to overclock his heart and send his thoughts on a 20 mile run. A more poetic mind might have likened it's brightness to the daffodils that grow in spring, to moonlight reflecting off of a still lake, to the first rays of sunlight after a storm. To Koga, it was just one word. Beautiful. 

"Oh, I didn’t know you were so possessive. D'you want me to tell Ara-chan I'm ditching her to hang out with my best bud Oogami?" "Do I really have ta spell it out for ya?" He looked ready to burst, whether from annoyance or embarrassment you weren't sure. Maybe it was time to put him out of his misery. "You're trying to ask me on a date, right?" The smile was less teasing now, as you said the words he'd never admit he'd been too awkward to say. "Yes, okay? I'm trying to ask you out! What, did ya want some big romantic gesture or somethin'? Will you just give me a goddamn answer?" Your giggle made him giddy, and he could only imagine how close he'd be to passing out if you ever laughed at one of his jokes. He knew you were making fun of him, and when you got like this you reminded him all too much of Rei, but he'd withstand it for the rest of his life if he got a chance to hold your hand. "I'd be delighted. I'll even pretend it was my idea to go to the festival so you can look cool. " "Wait, really?" "Yes! But next time you ask someone out, try not to look so scared when they say yes." “There ain’t gonna be a next time.” He grumbled. His surety that this would work out was oddly relieving.

Your hand reached for his, and he decided he could die happy right now. Hell, this was better than when Rei gave him his guitar. Miles better. Neither of your gazes met as you stood there, hands joining the gap between you. For once, he feels no need to fill the silence, no impatience pressing him to move on to the next thing. A calm contentedness had settled over the two of you, but things like that never last long.  A few notes of a song made their way through the air- an alarm that, in hindsight, you'd set slightly too late. "Shit." You hurried to turn it off, sighing as you returned your phone back to your pocket, and looked up at him apologetically. "I'm gonna be late and Izumi will have my guts for garters if that happens. Meet me by the fountain later?" He nods, and your smile returns- it's so not fair what that does to him- your hand leaving his. A kiss pressed to his cheek serves as the catalyst for a chain reaction that sets every inch of his skin on fire- and by the time he's even processed the action you're gone. God, you're gonna be the fucking death of him.
