also something that really sticks out to me after watching andor and rogue one is just how much jyn and cassian choose each other and make each other better. like even with all the events in andor jyn does the one thing that even bix couldn’t do: she makes cassian truly believe in the rebellion! bix had to leave to do that and from the events of the finale it didn’t even seem to work… but jyn who cassian sees so much of himself in finally gets him to realize what the rebellion means and what it’s supposed to be and to me that’s what makes them such a delicious ship. they force each other to look at the darkest parts of themselves and better themselves and choose to be better and quite frankly bix literally never did that for cassian in the YEARS they known each other but jyn did it in literal DAYS (it feels like a day to me but i once read that R1 took place over a week or so) like if they had such a profound connection and inspired each other so much it just overshadows anything in cassians past if you ask me

I hear what you're saying but idk, to me, Cassian didn't need anyone to make him believe in the rebellion because he already did 😭 that was kinda the whole point of him

but Jyn definitely had a profound effect on him regardless. the way they challenge and inspire each other has ALWAYS been my favorite thing about them. there's a reason why the Eadu scene is what made me ship it officially. two people who are both so right and so wrong clashing together. that's like catnip to me.

and yeah, this is why Bix and Cassian fail as a relationship to me. especially when I compare it to Jyn and Cassian and see what it can be like. there's lots of different dynamics I like, it doesn't always have to be "they challenge and inspire each other". it can be that they make each other worse. it can be that they have good banter. it can be so many things, but they gave me nothing. I don't mean to insult anyone who liked their dynamic, good for you, but I genuinely mean it when I say it's one of the most soulless couples I've ever seen. I kinda have to wonder if the only reason Gilroy put them back together was so we could have the baby twist...

31 Days of Dragon Age - Day 3

my favourite companion from origins is wynne!

she reminds me a lot of my ma and i’m ngl that’s the main reason she’s my fave. a lot of her beliefs and actions read to me as being based in trauma, both from her time in the circle (and what she witnessed there), and from before. i don’t agree with a lot of the conclusions she draws from those experiences, or the views she expresses (mainly about mage independence), but i think it’s a really interesting aspect of her character. she also clearly means well and wants to help as many people as she can, especially mages, and protect people with less power. tbh its the same reasons i find in vivienne, as well as anders on the opposite side, that make them compelling to me. i can see where they’re all coming from, and how they got there, for better or worse.

also the fear of the self and of accidentally harming people is catnip to me. i think a lot of mages, especially circle mages, in thedas have similar trauma and therefore writing and i really love it with all of them. with wynne in particular, the way she tries to pass on the ‘lessons’ she’s learned from her traumas is really interesting, especially when it’s more abstract like with a non-mage warden and the concept of power generally. the lessons she’s trying to pass on aren’t always healthy per se (trying to convince the warden to break it off with their love interest because any attachment could lead to the end of the world), but to me that’s compelling in itself. her affair and the birth of rhys/immediately having him taken away clearly fucked her up and i’m really hoping to see more of that explored in asunder (though given who the author was, i’m not holding me breath). also the spirit of faith/abomination stuff that she has to reconcile with the what she’s been taught, who she is, and her belief that she’s not a dangerous person is just a fascinating arc. i’m really looking forward to seeing how that could be contrasted with anders and justice (and how it differs or is similar to the friendship or rivalry dialogue). a full deconstruction would have been really interesting there too, especially if it included religion or chantry hierarchy, but what we got as it was always makes me think a lot.

i also get why all of that makes her seem preachy or hypocritical to some people. and she can be hypocritical! but i personally find that really interesting about her. i do genuinely like the contradictions of her life long beliefs being brought into direct contrast with something that she’s now living, and that she had to really look at herself and work through some stuff. unfortunately being mid character arc with no real end point is not an experience everyone will enjoy, especially if religious trauma is a sore point.

(i say this all completely genuinely btw. i Get why a lot of ppl have issues w her, i just wanted to explain completely that those problems are exactly why i like her, and exactly why i like vivienne. i also know the tone here could come across as like bitter or directed but it truly isn’t.)

i also thought the way she protected the younger circle mages, and the children in particular, is very sweet, and again, it reminded me a lot of my ma. her relationship with my canon warden actually ended up mirroring my relationship with my ma A LOT because of all this. idk i just find her very easy to love and it’s also so nice to see an older woman going on an quest to save the world. like she basically saw the warden, with the world on their shoulder, and said ‘is anyone else going to show love and care to that kid?’ and didn’t wait for an answer. and i really love her for that.

(also as an added bonus, her specialisation and starting spells really suit my play style!)

For Character Game: Faith, obviously.

General opinion/How much I care about them: she IS my poor little meow meow! My favorite character after Buffy herself. A deeply sad gay girl with a rough home life who can't quite tell the difference between love and power and wants them both so badly she ruins her own life about it? Fucks over the girl she's in love with in her rage and desperation? Undergoes a redemption arc underscored by penitent suffering? Fucking catnip for me. Good lord.

A ship I love: YOU ALREADY KNOOWWWW

A non-romantic relationship that I love: Faith and Angel! They're best friends! He's her Murderers Anonymous Sponsor! They give each other pep talks and have a deeply fucked up sense of shame that they can never overcome only mitigate through perpetually atonement! WOOO!

The NOTP: idk. I think the only thing that I really hate the idea of is Wesley/Faith.

My biggest headcanon about them: I feel like there's a fine line between true HC and 'details implied by canon that I have decadently elaborated on in my own mind.' One thing I have no real basis for but like the idea of is that Faith's birth dad is alive, but went to prison very young for something violent. Maybe even a murder charge. In my HC she never really knew him but "you're just like your father" was the exact type of thing her mom would say to make her feel horrible. I like the idea of this weighing down on years later when she's doing time herself. Someday I'll use it in a fic, I'm sure.

An idea for a fanfiction I would like to write/read about them: (if I have none in my WIPs I'll make one up on the spot!) I've got this one premise that doesn't really even have a full story behind it yet (though it DOES have a title) but - I like the idea of Faith getting dosed with a truth spell (probably s4? Could be S3 though or s7). But instead of doing the goofy love confession angle it's a terrifying metaphor for consent, because I think there probably isn't anything in the world scarier for Faith than the idea of being forced into vulnerability she can't control. I think if we're doing S3 or s4 it presents an interesting conflict for Buffy too - she could use the advantage to find out what Faith is up to, but could she live with herself after? Idk. I haven't worked this one all the way out but I've been rolling it around in my head for like two years now.

Like i've said many times before, i'm able to seperate the real person, Harry, from the persona, image and brand he portrays aka Harry Styles tm. I find Harry very likeable and people have only got nice things to say about him when they meet him. He's funny, charming and he's an aquarius so i see myself a lot in him (both good and bad sides).

Now, Harry Styles tm is another thing alltogether. I'm not a fan. I'm able to see why they want him to appear confident and arrogant, because that's catnip to teenage girls. I'm able to understand why they want him seperated from the 1D boys and not publicly show they are friends and in contact, and it's because they need to rid him of the boyband image and want to cater to a totally different target audience. I'm able to see why he's got this clean living and tpwk image, it's to appeal to conservatives and more right leaning fans. I'm able to see why he doesn’t speak up against genocide, it's because his bosses and friends in high places, are zion*sts. I'm able to understand why they're going with the blank canvas and the ambigious sexuality image, it's because they want to have the broadest appeal as possible, something for everyone to like. I'm able to see that Harry Styles tm is a carefully curated persona who's made to appeal to as many people as possible, and not make any enemies, to sell records, make money and become an icon. I'm able to see why they do it this way, because it's all working.

You are free to dislike both Harry and Harry Styles tm, but before you turn on Harry, make sure you know who he is and who he's not. Because Harry is very often very far from Harry Styles tm. And more often than not, Harry has no say in how Harry Styles should be portrayed to the public. Harry is closeted and in a relationship with Louis. Harry Styles tm on the other hand is a womaniser and a homewrecker. Harry is a massive 1D fan, while Harry Styles tm can hardly mention their names. I know it's hard to stay a fan of Harry’s when we hardly get to see or hear from him (he's not on social media anymore and he's not on tour interacting with fans) and we're always presented with or hear from Harry Styles tm, a persona we don’t like. So i'm still a massive fan of Harry, while i avoid his solo career because i can't stand how Harry is being sold to the public as Harry Styles tm.

Learn to know the difference between the two and it will make you much happier.

okay normally I would ignore this type of message like I normally do but admittedly you've caught me in a weakened mental state because of a CFS crash, so, here's the attention you wanted:

My little fic and my little OCs aren't keeping anyone from shipping what they like or reading what they like. I've no clue why some people act like they do.

As for why I don't ship "obvious" popular fanon M/M couples like Serennedy or Wintersberg:

I no longer accept crumbs of barely there subtext from my media when it comes to queer relationships.

I'm tired of doing the work for the writers. I'm tired of forcing room for myself and other queer people in their canons. That's the whole reason I stopped writing MCU stuff -- I'm tired of always having to fix Loki's character, of giving more of a shit about him than any of his writers ever have. (Also, MCU Loki is canonically bisexual, so idk where you're getting that "obviously gay" thing from.)

Also, none of these ships are my catnip, as I've mentioned before. Give me Morpheus/Hobb from The Sandman and we'll talk then. Give me Aziraphale/Crowley. Or, on the other side, give me Usagi/Seiya from Sailor Moon, or Haruka/Michiru.

And lastly: I write female OCs because generally the media I get into doesn't have a lot of great female characters. In FFXV, if you're a woman and a love interest, you get killed to further the men's stories. Same if you're a mother character. Village is sliiiiightly better about this, surprisingly, but the way they completely shafted Mia pissed me off, and I wanted to really delve into what growing up in that village would be like and how that might twist a person like Aranka. And Cat -- I wanted someone who knew Luis before the whole Umbrella and Los Illuminados thing, and again, I wanted to give Valdelobos and the people who lived in it a bit more time to shine on their own.

ANYWAY. I'm content with how I write my characters. It's brought me a lot of good friends and tbh I appreciate that more than I would thousands of fans. (I also do not know where you got the idea that I'm popular from. I was middling-popular in the Logyn fandom, like... ten years ago now, and I'm but a mere drop in both the RE4 and Village fandoms.)

Other people write about these ships far better than I do, so I suggest you go find them and read their works instead of sending weird messages to strangers on the internet.

Look, look, about Tay and the impact that Time left, I just started thinking about it and there were so many potential ramifications that it hurt my heart. What does it mean to love someone like that for so long? To stick with them when they never really quite love you back the way you need? When I explored it, I just thought "oh, that would impact self-esteem in a big way, obviously."

One thing I also wanted to get across is that the relationship between each of them is very, very different. Kinn and Porsche sort of always have this power struggle going on, and it's INTENSE. They burn so brightly. And between Kinn and Tay there's soooo much history and things left unsaid and longing on Kinn's part and longing-mixed-with-self-doubt on Tay's, and again, it's INTENSE, but in a very different flavor, more classic romantic/yearning. Meanwhile, between Porsche and Tay? It's just so deliciously easy, calm and soothing, a friendship-love that's a balm to both their hearts, something that for once in their lives isn't a struggle.

Final Fantasy prompts no 52

1. Cloud getting swarmed by orphans who proceed to put make up on him, Tifa, and Yuffie.

When they are "revealed" to eachother, Cloud asks, "Am I pretty?" With a blank face and monotone voice.

2. Clouds reaction to different people saying, "I have a crush on you"

That exact phrase. No other wording or phrases.

3. #2 but its everyone in AVALANCHE saying this to Cloud one at a time, once a day.

Example: Yuffie on Tuesday, Tifa on Wednesday, Barret on Thursday, etc.

This is because they were trying a misguided attempt at making Vincent comfortable enough to actually confess.

When Vincent does confess, however, Cloud doesn't believe him. Oops.

4. Palmer was being a prick again. Ever since the "Incident" in the conference room when they discovered Sephiroths...relationship...with laser pointers, Palmer had been sneaking them in and teasing the poor man with them.

Scarlett had been the most recent victim, having the small red dot travel across her breasts without her knowledge. When she noticed the general staring at her cleavage, a whole host of questions flittered threw her mind, the most prominent being, "Am I about to get laid?"

By the time she noticed the dot it was too late. Catboy pounced.

Her last thought before she was squished by hard muscle and leather was "Oh, no."

Later, there was a mysterious surge in people writing fanfiction about Sephiroth pouncing on people...

5. Cloud chunking a ceramic vase full of catnip grass at Sephiroths head and yelling, "Happy birthday, asshole!"

6. Yuffie often observed how cat-like Cloud was, and just never questioned it.

Years later when Tifa says something about it, Yuffie was like, "You guys never noticed? He's always been like that."

Additionally, Vincent trailing his fingers through Clouds hair as the blond rests his head in the gunman lap. All was well and good until Cloud began purring in his sleep.

He wasn't sure what to do with this information.

7. Time traveler Cloud lands in the Shinra building and immediately gets spotted. He fights his way down with First Tsurugi until he's confronted by a familiar mop of spikey blond hair.

He has a blond moment of, "Oh, that's me. Oh- I'm shooting at myself. Lovely." He then proceeded to kidnap his younger self, much to Zacks dismay.

Now Cloud has Zack, Sephiroth, and two people he doesn't know hunting him like a wild animal.

It doesn't help that his past self is uncooperative

8. Zack as the hero instead of Cloud.

They made it to Midgar, but Cloud remained in a coma at 7th heaven. There was even a big rescue scene where he woke up and saved Marlene when the plate fell. Everyone thinks they're dead, but they find refuge with Elmira after AVALANCHE leaves Midgar.

Zack being referred to as "puppy" by Sephiroth in the same way Cloud is referred to as "puppet"

Also, Zack with green cat eyes

9. A group of scientists working under a mysterious organization managed to obtain samples of Clouds DNA, thus managing to revive the SOLDIER program.

But they made a mistake.

Cloud was made using large amounts of S and J-cells. Cells that mutated and changed him. He feels the new SOLDIERs as they change, as they are reborn. He feels them as they come alive with his cells, senses them like blinking lights on a sonar. The pull of REUNION has never been this strong before, but strangely, the blond didn't feel drawn anywhere.

When he first saw them he knew. He knew immediately what had happened and what the scientists had done, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was that he had babies and they needed him.

And so Gaia cries for another twisted hero

AC Cloud escaped and is on the run, but it's so much harder to blend in when you have cat ears on your head 24/7. Maybe he could wear a hat, but he wasn't sure what to do about the tail.

Yeah, Cloud can do that. Not the, "summon eldrich monsters" thing, though he can probably do that too. I mean the "sinking into your own shadow to travel at high speeds/ through cracks in walls".

He can't speak, so Barret and the others think the little shodow thing ate their blond friend or something.

Cloud is so frustrated and confused from being stuck in his shadow. Poor guy.

Then he found Cloud, who hated him on sight. As it turns out, Sephiroth is from the Cresent family. A clan of notoriously powerful and cruel demons with silver hair. What's worse is that the man was from the Strife clan, his family's enemy.

They had been at war for eons, with the Cresent family often becoming infatuated or obsessed with a Strife. They even had a phrase, which translated to, "Little song bird, you would look so pretty in a cage"

Needless to say the blond wanted nothing to do with him. So naturally, Sephiroth kidnapped him.

Demon Vincent is kind of there in the background, hiding himself like a smart person and watching over his blond friend and his deceased lover Lucricia's nephew. He allows most things, but ninjas his way in when he feels things are going too far.

Because, like.

It’s been rainy and gray where I live the past few days and that just makes me think of these three dorks, right?

The three of them curled up all nice and cozy on their couch while the rain patters down outside. Some dumb movie on the television and Michael settled between Ryan and Gavin - human or cat form - and content as anything after they get their shit together and feel comfortable enough about their relationship to move in together.

Realize it’s more ~cost effective than renting out three separate apartments/whatevers across the city. (Security reasons too, sure.)

(Really, though, their old apartments were too small and didn’t have room for them to spread out on the days they need a little more space or whatever. They still have their rooms at the penthouse if they need more space, or various safe houses or other places to go if they need so the whole living together thing’s not as daunting as it seemed in the beginning, what with various issues and hang-ups they all have.)

Anyway, that’s another tangent because this new place is pretty nice, you know?

Old building, yeah, but it’s in a quiet (discreet) neighborhood and the three of them are pretty well liked by their neighbors, what with them dealing with some ~undesirables causing trouble and harassing the people living there and the like when they were first checking the area out?

Also, Gavin and Matt may have done some Sekrit Hacker stuff along with the smart investments Gavin and the other two have been making with their ill-gotten gains - all carefully sorted out so the cops or feds or whoever won’t get wind of it.

ANYWAY.

It’s all taken care of so they don’t have to worry about it and monitored closely just in case by trusted parties and as ANOTHER anyway, these three idiots may or may not actually own the building they live in? (Part and parcel of dealing with those ~undesirables causing trouble and harassing the people living there.

Hush-hush only a select few know - certainly no one else in their building and such suspect and they’re not too fussed about letting them know? (If they find out, eh, whatever.)

Until then they keep the rent low because they don’t actually need the money, and also they’ve got nice neighbors, you know?

Sweet little old ladies and young couples struggling to get by. Some college students - dumb kids doing their best - and so on and so on and so on.

Set someone up as an absentee landlord to keep the whole ridiculous business going as long as they can. (Trevor or Alfredo, maybe, before their faces end up on the news right alongside theirs and they get these little sideways looks from their “tenants” when they happen by, and then that role gets passed on to, idk, Fiona or some such until their faces get too recognizable and so on.)

BUT.

Anyway.

They’ve got this nice little place in a quiet (discreet) neighborhood. Have a decent sized lot next door that they may or may not acquire on the down low the same way they got the building and it gets turned into a community garden project kind of thing?

First it’s Ryan and some of the plants he had in his old place that have gotten a little too big to be inside. Then it’s this little old lady on the third floor who used to have a garden way back when, before moving to Los Santos for whatever reason and oh, does he think anyone would mind if she planted a few things herself?

Ryan’s just ??? “I don’t see why not,” because what does he care, right?

And then a few weeks later he goes to check on his plants and sees her in this section she’s clearing weeds and debris and whatnot from for these honeysuckle plants she got somewhere and Ryan is like, oh, because growing up in the south and the ~memories and it’s like.

Well, alright then, for him because he goes over and asks if she’d like some help and she gives him this look, right?

Because she’s old but she’s not an invalid, please to remember that, but also it would be lovely to have someone to talk to while she works. (And maybe she relents an hour or so in, having underestimated how stubborn some of the weeds are, how deep their roots go, and Ryan is just “Yes ma’am,” and trying not to smile while she pretends to scowl at him.)

From there the lot gets more visitors or whatever you want to call them.

Kids from the building (and the neighborhood) who are Curious and growing plants is always pretty cool at first and there are some you can eat?

So a little section gets turned into a little science-y corner where bean plants and whatever else kind of things will hold a kid’s interest long enough to see their growth cycle through get planted.

ANd then their parents or others come to see what’s going on here - if it’s a scam or what because Los Santos and suspicious shit - and it’s.

Well.

They don’t know what it is, just that there are a lot of plants and such being grown. Some kids listening intently to whatever Ryan or Penlope of the honeysuckle plants and other such things have to tell them about nurturing the plants and whatnot the kids are growing.

And, look, okay.

Money’s tight for everyone there (aside from our three dorks, but no one knows, so shhh on that front) but maybe they can take some of that burden off themselves if they put a little work into growing their own food?

So then you have the rest of the lot sectioned out for fruits and veggies and whatever else and a whole slew of people learning to cultivate them and it’s.

Weird.

It’s really, really, weird.

Gavin goes down there some days when Ryan’s dealing with his plants or helping the neighbors with problems they might be having. No real interest in growing anything himself, but he’ll bring a little blanket and sit under one of the scraggly little trees growing along the edge of the lot while Ryan does whatever it is he does there and spend a quiet afternoon decompressing from a project or other or healing up after a heist or job or Incident where things didn’t exactly go as smoothly as hoped for.

He does, however, take a special interest in this little plant one of the kids gives him. A cutting or whatever else from one of their favorite plants and a gift after Gavin helped them with their homework or other school project and stop looking so damned pleased with yourself, Ryan, of course Gavin would want to make sure the plant is looked after.

And Michael, okay.

Always a soft touch for kids even if acts like he isn’t. Plays with the quieter ones as a cat because animals are almost always easier than people, you know? No expectations or judgement and cats have that lovely little purr.

Sometimes he’ll chase after a little red dot from a laser pointer to make one of them laugh and so on, but more often than not he ends up curled up in a kid’s lap or tucked up against their side. Little hands petting him because soft fur and rumbling purr and some of them might pet a little too hard, but cats are resilient fuckers and Michael can handle it.

Other times he’ll wander around the garden lot, nap in the shade of one of the honesuckle plants or steal some low-hanging fruit or vegging to nibble on.

Gets annoyed as hell when Gavin brings in the catnip plants along the fence because that’s fucking playing dirty and see if Michael doesn’t scratch up his favorite shirt next time he sees it, asshole.

Also, also I realize less cat!Michael shenanigans this time around? But imagine him running around playing with the kids and other neighbors while Ryan’s tending to his plants and Gavin’s gently heckling Ryan.

Ryan flubbing something he’s telling the kids and Gavin pouncing on it with glee. The kids laughing and Ryan rolling his eyes and them ~bickering until Gavin flubs something and it’s Ryan’s turn to give him shit and just.

Yes.

Also, also.

Human!Michael not really having any interest in growing plants either? But the kids freaking love him and his bluntness and the way he listens when they chatter on about something. (He’ll tease them about it, sure, but he listens and a lot of them don’t have people who care enough to do that and just. Yes.)

ALSO. Cat!Michael who the kids - and some of the adults - tell shit to they can’t/won’t with anyone else.

Anything from trouble with homework (and whichever one of them best suited to help may or may not find a way to offer up some tips for the kid at some point?) to some creep or whatever they saw around the schoolyard/their work and so on.

(And wouldn’t you know it if something Happened to said creep or whatever not too long afterwards. Weird, right?)

tharntype special magical super duper final ep 13 thoughts

small gripe first of all

- coulda done without that lhong scene tbh. seems wildly out of character for thorn to let someone he knows spent years abusing his brother, and who orchestrated the gang rape of a teenager just get a little forgiveness

lhong’s ‘i’ve been suffering for three years....’ boo-fuckin-hoo, mate, your victims are going to be dealing with the impact of your abuse for the rest of their lives.

CONTENNNNT

first things first, i fucking loved this. it wasn’t remotely what i expected and that’s ok, because what it was, was for the most part, outstanding

obviously for the fans, but, aside from the phenomenal pet play scene, it wasn’t shoehorned in fanservice. it kept the plot, the characterisation, the clarity of the story in tact.

love that it opens with what is essentially the ‘tharntype series greatest hits’. sets the mood, reminds you of the massive character arcs and growth they both undergo.

and reignites my deeply held type issues, bastard man that he is. i continue to love and be infuriated by him, and its great.

the soccer field moment where type is like ‘his money is my money’ is stupendous. as is tharn’s ‘daddy long dick just got back to LA’ style entrance, combined with his dorky little hand wave. i love tharn.

the whole episode was excellent. i love love love seeing chilled out, accepting, smug Type. to think about the way he has healed, and the good he has done for Tharn, for Tar and for the gaggle of gay kids that love by chance tells the story of.

he really became a good man. he’ll always be an abrasive dickhead but the rage and the fear that used to make him unbearable, and horrible is all gone. the pain is managed. he’s good.

tharn, sweetheart, my love. he’s just smitten. 

here is an issue i had that isn’t a gripe. i wanted tharn to face a lot less micro and also macro aggressions in this. type loves tharn, and that’s good, that’s great, but idk. as a queer person watching this, i wanted something a little more positive for tharn from type’s parents. i wanted people to see his value, his beauty, but also that he is gay, that’s not a negotiable part of him, and it’s as important as his family name or good looks or intelligence.

tharn is and has always been proud to be gay. i would have liked the show to showcase that pride a bit more.

BUT SPEAKING OF BEING UNASHAMEDLY  GAY

hell yes, type’s apology to kon. owning his homophobia, specifically apologising for insults and slurs, trying to imagine what it must have been like for him. admitting that he’s not fully over his own bigoted views but that he’s trying. it was a genuine apology, that got a bit softened at the end, but it doesn’t take away from it’s core though.

this is getting too long, so i will sum up

+ type being consistently united with tharn in public spaces

- any time this show makes me acknowledge tum, tbh

+ the affection. just the continual love and need to connect physically with one another

- not enough techno. i love techno. he deserves so much for being there during type’s...everything

+ the sex. not just that it was hot, and tender, but that it was so familiar. this is how the audience knows its about commitment and years long love. they just know each others bodies. they can make dumb jokes with the cat and dog ears. 

- it is a crime they did not show us what else tharn has in that sex box

+ Type screaming ‘run’ rather then lie to his dad about being a top. phenomenal.

- i really wish type’s dad had come around a little, just verbally. it would have improved the show immensely for me.

+ cinematography. holy shit some of the shots in this episode. you watch a lot of dramas and you just get used to generic university sets. the stunning beach and ocean shots in this. 

+ love seeing little hints of tin and can, and pete and ae. its very neat. I really liked that it was mostly about Can, because of course, that’s who Type has connected with, who he has the most knowledge of. that’s his and Techno’s child they are platonically raising together.

+ it just left me feeling good. it left me feeling positive for their relationship, their future together and as individuals. it was so good to see them free of the poison that they both carry because of their pasts.

+ adulllllthoooood. very satisfying for this to be about adult life experiences and not 1st year, fresh outta highschool drama in university. i missed grown ups lmao.

in summary, i love it. love them. i’m happy!
