How the fuck Red Robin got a Favor Ticket from the infinite realm?!?

He has been spending a 4 year and 8 months trying to figure the right ritual to summon that bastard right. All he gets is a dog sized looking green blob ball thing looking thing that take one look at him, say oooo and disappears on him, and yet the coffee obsessed robin figured it out in one shot to save batman?!?

Fuck this! He ignoring batman asking questions about the infinite realm, he need hardcover 99% alcohol liquor right the fuck now.

He sticks his middle finger as he leaves through the portal, closing it on his way out as he plop onto his bed in the house of mysteries, groaning out his frustration.

If John was paying attention, he wouldn't notice several dozen blob ghosts laying on his back, silently oooing on his slowly developing core.

Meanwhile

In crime city, Jason had given trying to removed this greenish lazarus pit cat sized goop off him for the last 6 hours. None of the robin seem to see it beside Cass, but the rage seem to be sipping away.

I had a weird emotional dream about Thistle being in his early-mid 20s in human age, teaching lil students knowledges he got from his past & Laios. The students reminded him sm about his childhood w/ Delgal which was why he loved this job.

Here’s my artistic rendition of all I could remember:

(The dialogue is made up bc I can’t remember any other details than the main point)

It felt like I haven’t seen him forever then he’s a grown up which idk if that’s possible, maybe, if things change as time comes idk. But yeah the imagery of him adulting & full of warmth made me emotional.

Sorry if it makes no sense, it’s was a dream after all. I’m just taking it as some silly “what if”.

Dick + Dan Story Idea (click for clarity)

A story where Dan enters the DCU in order to find himself/redemption/a new path and he meets Dick. Because Dick has the purest heart he’s seen, Dan decides to befriend him in hopes of becoming a better person.

One day, Dick gets killed and his soul is taken away while Dan is nearby. In order to not let his body decompose, Dan overshadows him, takes possession of his body, and then vows to find Dick’s killer and soul in order to revive him.

Cue angst and feels as the Batfamily (and other heroes too tbh) soon discover that someone is using Dick’s body. Dan does NOT try to be Dick, but it’s even worse as a stranger uses Dick’s face and they can’t stop him. Unless they want his body to rot, they can’t even drive away Dan or take back Dick’s body. Dan himself hates how he has to use Dick’s corpse in such a way, and he battles constantly with Dick’s forgiving ideologies and his own brutal methods as he tries to find the killer and bring Dick back to his family.

Just… an angsty fic where Dan doesn’t want to use Dick’s body but has to possess him anyways, and he and Dick’s family and friends hate him for it :)
